Sunset from SM in baguio
This picture was taken from SM in Baguio city. When the sun sets in the evening, I was able to take a picture of it. This picture was taken before I changed my camera. I am just a hobbyist in the Philippines. I am trying to join this competition because one of my best role model photographer friend suggested. She even won the photography landscape competition that was founded by Smart. I am just so glad that I am able to take pictures with my camera. I feel kind of bad because all the pics that I took with my Fujifilm camera's pixels were lower than required since I didn't transfer them to my laptop right away. The thing that I like about this picture is the clouds up there in the sky. They are magnificent. I can quite say that you can see the half side of Baguio city by just looking at this picture. You can see the university of the Cordilleras. All the building around it. It was even nice because that scene made me realize that Baguio city has a lot of buildings and structures that are harmonized with the ridge of the mountain. Also, I was really happy because there were a lot of people who were enjoying looking at the sunset going down. Sharing happiness is the most beautiful action in the world. If i have a chance to stay in Sm, I would go to the balcony and wait for the sunset to be seen. One of the great sunset that we can see in Baguio city. About this picture, it's 5456 x 2587 pixels each. Taken by Sony SLT-A58 with kit lens, f/7.1, exposure time is 1/200 sec, and 18 mm with kit lens. My Sony camera is still good to use. However my LCD monitor broke so I couldn't take a picture with a long exposure. This is why I had to buy a new camera, which is now I am using Fujifilm x-t1. The happiest moment for a photography hobbyist is the moment after you see your masterpiece on your camera even though the picture is not well taken. The reason I started taking a picture was just I had a lot of friends with some cool expensive Nikon and Canon cameras. Reminded me of the camera that my parents bought long time ago. I told them to give it to me, and I started. Now, I can't say that I am a good photographer that makes people surprise with my pictures, but I at least know how to save the precious memories as pictures using my camera.
