I have finally decided what to do with Eleanor!

DuckTales '17 OC! (might design a version of her for either '87 DT or Quack Pack idk)

Elenor Crackshell Cabrera is Fenton's 16 year old younger sister!

facts about Ellie:

she's VERY interested in cryptozoology (the study of cryptids) and mythical creatures

very outgoing (although not as much as Webby is)

keeps the secret of Fenton's life as Gizmoduck even though she doesn't have to (when she found out she was very excited)

her and Fenton have several nicknames for each other

loves hanging out with the triplets, Webby and Lena (I'd add Violet too but I haven't gotten a chance to watch her episodes yet so idk what she's like personality-wise)

similar to Dewey she wants to find out what happened to her and Fenton's dad

has misophonia (like me! I think I have it? idk lol)

enjoyer of vintage and older music (especially the possible calisota/duckberg-verse equivalent of The Beatles)

dislikes Mark as much as Scrooge and Glomgold do

kinda sassy but mostly only around The Mcduck residents, Fenton & Gyro

Herbert Duncan “HD” Duck

Here an OC. In Don Rosa's Duck family tree, Humperdink is the oldest in the (paternal) Duck family line. But we know nothing about his parents. His father. Eider, Daphne and Quackmore's grandfather. Donald, Della, Gladstone, Fethry and Abner's great-grandfather. Huey, Dewey and Louie's great-great-grandfather.

OK, so lemme give y'all my headcanon.

Herbert Duncan "HD" Duck was born in San Antonio, Texas as the middle of five children. His father ran a steel company his older brother would eventually take over. Herbert however was more lurking towards the car industry. In middle school he already did everything that had to do with cars, and unlike his friends, he had no time to find a crush.

Then, in high school - 9th grade - his one year older sister Dana introduced him to her classmate Camilla, who was also a year older than him and whose parents came from Puerto Rico.

They quickly became a couple and got married even before finishing college. A few weeks afterwards, they moved to Bloomfield, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Ten months later, their son Humperdink was born.

Herbert meanwhile put lots of work in the car company. He was wounded while fighting in the war, but recovered and only desired to get back to work. The company suffered (financial) loss in the war, including heavy damages on the main building, but Herbert worked even harder - up to 14 hours a day! - to remain in contention. This caused even his contenders to respect him.

Their second child would have to wait. When Humperdink was 13 - nearly 14, in 8th grade, and just like his old man, was the only one of his friends to still not have a girlfriend - Camilla was pregnant again, but shockingly, she fell sick. It became evident that the city life was too much to handle for the family. They decided to move to the countryside of Calisota - not far from Duckburg -, where Herbert was able to build some land. Humperdink helped his father, and a few months later, Camilla gave birth to a healthy son named Derek, their second and last child, born 14 years after their first.

Humperdink would still travel back and forth between the West Coast and Midwest for his job's sake, but it put lots of stress on him and after he got a heart attack from his 41th birthday, he finally took Camilla's advice and focused on farm life. Not too long afterwards, Humperdink's wife Elvira would give birth to Herbert and Camilla's first grandchild, Eider. Life was the best.

In the mid 60's, Herbert was heading towards retirement to spend more time with his wife. However, this phase began several family tragedies. It started with the death of their younger son Derek Duck - at age 30 - who was ran over by a bus, leaving behind a 3-year-old son called Derek Jr. And just a year later, Camilla became very sick - bladder cancer - and died short afterwards, making Herbert a widower. He moved in with his remaining son Humperdink, but a decade later, Humperdink himself died of a sudden through a heart attack. Having lost his wife and both children, Herbert, himself being in his mid 70's, was battling with depressions, but he knew God still wanted him to live. He moved to his favorite grandson Quackmore, however, Quackmore's tantrums caused him to move to his second grandchild Daphne. After Daphne's death through overeating, he moved to Eider, with whom he had a strong bond through his final years, which he spent with a really clear mind and joy in life. He generally refused to accept help and even helped his great-grandson Abner with his driver's license. On his 89th birthday, he got another blessing gift, when his first great-great-grandchildren, Huey, Dewey and Louie were hatched. He died two years later at the age of 91 and was buried next to Camilla, Humperdink, Derek and Daphne.

The hedgehog liked to think he was good at a lot of things... everything, in fact, but if he had to make a list, telling people just how great he was would be at the top of it.

The impact of learning that there's another speedster still stings... but this guy's obviously got decent taste at least. Huh Ah well, if Glomgold wants him distracted, that's how it's gonna go down. "Go ahead, race me! I look forward to seein' your face when I lap ya."

Uncle Scrooge and the Christmas Leap

(read all these pages but its not the whole comic! just a partial scanlation 'cause i'm lazy and i love goldie)

OKAY so here's a three-part Christmas comic that came out this month that has Goldie in it! I don't have the energy or time to scanlate the entire thing, so I just chose the Goldie pages (and some Magica & Daisy pages) to share! Enjoy! [inducks]

The pages might be confusing by themselves so here's a summary of the whole comic for ya:

First part: Scrooge is having an extra bad Christmas 'cause he invited Goldie to come hang out and she said no thanks. He meets a creepy guy with a magic lamp and then wishes Christmas never existed. Then he wakes up in a new world where he's poor and lives with Donald and works as one of Rockerduck's accountants.

Second part: Rockerduck fires Scrooge but it's fine 'cause Scrooge finds out that Goldie lives in Calisota! Truly the sexy singles live in his area. They spend a lot of romantic time together and it's really cute. Mickey shows up ('cause he has a tie-in comic happening at the same time) and he tells Scrooge they have to go to the mountains and find the lamp and undo Scrooge's wish. They find Magica there!

Third part: Magica talks about her life in this AU. She helps them search for the lamp. Rockerduck is also there doing evil things blahblah Scrooge gets the lamp and makes the wish to bring things back to normal. He and Mickey hug at one point it was cute lol And then he's back to normal, he and Magica talk about the AU that they both remember, then Goldie shows up and says the boys invited her so she decided to visit for Christmas.

In the Mickey comic there's also things happening with the Phantom Blot but I did not read it so I don't know the details SORRY

I did a Donald Duck fanart, rocking a Calisota jersey. Yes, I designed a Calisota flag. It's based on the coat of arms of Francis Drake. I'm still in doubt about it being a better fitting Duckburg flag or Calisota flag.

They upgraded a bit the profile of phantom blot of the official topolino website! :

"Few expected to discover that, under the dark hood of the criminal who had repeatedly tried to take down Mickey Mouse, was a caricature of Walt Disney himself!

Instead, this was the surprise that awaited readers a full three months later, at the end of the sensational strip adventure Mickey outwit the phantom blot (1939).

In conceiving it, Floyd Gottfredson and Merril De Maris wanted to set Mickey against a figure far more evil, mysterious, and disturbing than the usual Peg Leg. A character as shady as he was refined, intent on giving Mickey a party, yes, but through deadly devices that could get him to his goal without getting his hands dirty.

For after all, Phantom Blot has a certain sensibility!

Perhaps precisely in order not to over-emphasize his resemblance to Walt, in the American comics that followed the character's face was totally set aside, turning Blot into a sort of clumsy black ghost perpetually in a work uniform...in short, a "black stain."

In Italy things were different from the very beginning, when the character was revived by Guido Martina and Romano Scarpa in the disturbing thriller, Topolino e il doppio segreto di Macchia Nera (1955). And although there have been authors who have not resisted employing him in lighter stories or those with a comic register, in italy, the career of the gloomy evildoer has always been carried on with a certain regard, restoring to him the dandy look that had been lost and that still makes him the most romantic of Disney's villains.

Now Phantom Blot often acts barefaced, has seen his charisma expand, and is always at the center of complex and delightfully cerebral stories.

In Casty's and Marco Nucci's stories, in fact, Blot has shown a distinct penchant for science and invention, going so far as to create contraptions that rival those of Calisota's many professional scientists. Mickey remembers all too well the Darkenblot, the exoskeleton with which Blot struck terror in Illinois, but it was after the invention of the white pentadelion* (flower) that things got even nastier. With this lab-created flower, Blot discovered that he could release toxins into the environment that could alter memory, and from that moment on he has not stopped terrorizing the world, weaving a web of lies and manipulations in which it is increasingly difficult to extricate himself.

In short, intelligent, refined and good-looking, Blot would seem to be just the prince charming...a pity that all this is accompanied by a heart as black as night."
