Day 110: Friday April 20, 2018 - “Cheyenne”
Got a rare day off work, and used to get caught up on work!! Got my weeklys done early from a new brew spot in Fort Collins, then split up to Cheyenne for a nice Birthday dinner from myself for myself at the Wyoming Chop Shop. Snowed started to fall - what the heck? I drove the 2 hours home through a slow thick snow storm. On my birthday weekend?
I like Cheyenne. Ive been up here a few times now - its a small big town, what youd expect of a Wyoming metropolis. History squashed with crossroads squashed with cowboy culture. Where interstate, train tracks, and cowboys would cross the north. Went to a brewery in the old train stop in the town center. Walked literally across the town for a rack of baby backs....in the snow with flip flops. All the people I meet are my kind of small town folk. I wish I could spend more time up and around here. Decent way to start out my 37th bday weekend.
