The day finally came when Lucifer, Charlie's dad, would come to the hotel. So, out of consideration for your friend, you hosted a dinner party to leave a good impression on Hell's King himself.

So, you busied yourself in the kitchen for the past hour trying to whip up as much and as fast as you could, given the limited time you had been offered.

Everyone was gathered as they would on any regular day since you had started preparing breakfast. However, today they brought a little bit of... class~. They wore their best outfits seeing how special this event started to be and wore suits and dresses to dinner.

After everyone was present and settled themselves down. You appear before them donned in your chef's uniform, an apron wrapped around your waist stained with sauces and your hair curled, tied into a bun inside a hairnet. You introduce each dish that was placed down in front of them by Alastor's shadow puppets.

"Ooh! This pasta are incredible! Compliments to the chef!" Lucifer exclaims lifting his head and grinning at you.

"Oh, thank you!" you replied while gave him a polite smile and nodded your head.

While you we were wiping Niffty's face that was covered in the ragu with a napkin. Lucifer turns to Charlie and says, "Say, do you always eat together like this? I wouldn't mind staying here if that were the case."

While he was laughing at his own jest. Alastor, who sat opposite of him, glared at him not even being subtle about it. "It's a shame that his majesty has so many important matters to deal with. He hasn't even come to see how his daughter was in a while and finds his only reason to stay is through my companion's cooking," Alastor jabs at him while delicately cutting the meat on his plate that you especially made for him.

Lucifer splutters nervously as he aggressively denies the deer's claims. Lucifer watches as you approach Alastor's side and pour him his drink, seeing your heart shaped manic eyes ogling him while Alastor exuded a softer aura around him.

"Hohoho," Lucifer laughs in revelation before raising his own glass, "Uh, chef dear? Could you also pour me a drink?"

You raise eyes towards him, eyes turning normal before giving him another smile before coming over to his side. Lucifer gives Alastor a smug grin as you poured him the wine and sees how Alastor narrows his eyes at the blonde, as if asking him what the hell he was doing.

"So, you uh.. you made all of this by yourself?" Lucifer trying to start a conversation with you and keep your eyes off Alastor.

"Why, yes! Given I only had an hour to prepare, this is the least I could do," you reply with a small smile.

You didn't find it odd that much that this very important person was talking to you so candidly. You didn't really mind that much given how well he complimented your cooking so, all of his antics flew passed you head as he continued conversing with you.

By the time Lucifer decided to go home, you all gathered at the door to send him off. After he gives Charlie one last hug, he steps closer to you. All of you were confused at his actions especially what happens next.

"I'm sorry for my sudden intrusion then. I'd love to try you cooking some other time," he says with a flirtatious smile after he kisses the back of your hand.

Your eyes widen open as Alastor's ears peel back while giving the blonde a snarl. After he disappears, Alastor wipes the back of you hand on his coat and takes you to his quarters to get rid of the outrageous' sent off of you.

While in the bath as he scrubbed you down without batting an eye at your naked form. He takes the stained hand of yours and bites down on it with his sharp fangs deeply causing it to bleed.

"You belong to me. Got it?"

“yeah yeah when we get there ill help you set everything up” You smiled he had already started driving “Really? Thank you thank you I wasn't gonna ask you too I didn't wanna make your work cause I mean I invited you as a guest yk?” you giggled “no yeah its okay char of course ill help do you know when Robbie is gonna get there?”

Hermione pinned the last bobby pin into your hair, finishing up the flower-like bun on the back of your head and softly tugged out two strands of hair at the front to frame your face

You stared in the mirror in awe, “Wow.. Hermione this is absolutely beautiful. Thank you” You turned to meet her cheerful and slightly tearful gaze

“I can’t believe you’re getting married! It feels like only yesterday that we met each other on the Hogwarts express— Oh god don’t cry, don’t cry..” She mumbled and paced in attempt to contain her emotions.

You chuckled at your best friend and shifted your gaze towards your soon-to-be sisters-in-law who, had very discreetly, entered her bedroom

“Hey Y/n,” She grinned, “You almost ready? All the guests have arrived and dad’s down in the lounge room waiting”

You took a deep breath and nodded, “Let’s go kick this wedding’s ass”

Ginny and Hermione both snickered and walked out and down the creaky stairs of the Burrow with you in between them, complimenting each other’s attire and makeup

“They’re on their way down, Fred. We should’ve been out there ages ago,” George sighed, walking towards his twin from the door of their childhood bedroom

“You okay, Freddie? I haven’t seen you this anxious since the war.” He placed a hand on Fred’s shoulder

“Yeah, I’m fine. I just- How do I know if I really want this? Getting married is just a big milestone and I don’t know if I want it to happen yet, George” Fred sharply exhaled.

“What’re you on about? Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts now? Fred, you were so sure that you wanted this with Y/n when you first started dating, and you were absolutely ecstatic about this not even a week ago”

Fred huffed and brushed straight past George and beelined towards the back door, soon having his younger twin trail behind him.

All the guests in the tent stood and turned their attention to you as you walked down the flower covered aisle with Arthur by your side.

Your gaze met with Fred’s and you tried your hardest not to cry so as to not ruin your wonderfully done makeup.

A few sniffles and expressions of awe were heard throughout the tent when you made it to the front. Arthur gave you a quick kiss on the cheek and a pat on the arm as he gave you away to Fred and walked to the front row of seats, sitting next to an emotional Molly

“Dearly beloved, We gather here today to join Fred and Y/n in matrimony.” The wedding officiant spoke, commencing the ceremony.

“Will you, Y/n Y/l/n, take Fred to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

“I do.”

“And will you, Fred Weasley, take Y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I-uh..” Fred anxiously looked around the crowd, trying not to look at your face that contorted into a slightly hurt expression at his hesitation. “Fred?” Your voice was small, barely a whisper, and was threatening to break if you spoke any louder.

Fred made eye contact with Ginny who seemed to be getting more furious each second that he remained silent. She mouthed ‘Answer her already’ as subtle as she could and he turned his gaze back to you and immediately regretted it. Guilt flooded through his veins at the sight of your unshed tears just waiting to escape and cascade down your rosy cheeks and your chest rising and falling to an uneven cadence.

“I-I’m sorry Y/n-- I really am. I just don’t completely know if I want this yet-”

“-And you waited to tell me this now, in front of everyone? We spent a whole year planning this wedding and you waited to tell me after we made the effort to make this day perfect?” You sobbed, completely letting go of anything that was holding you back. Molly had gotten up and left to go outside to stop herself from yelling at Fred for hurting you on such a special day.

“Y/n I truly am sorry. I love you and I do want this with you but I’m not ready.. We’ve got plenty of time—”

“—Tomorrow isn’t promised Fred! You of all people should know that,” Your voice shrank, “We’ve been together since our 5th year at Hogwarts, Fred. How much more time do you need? If you don’t want this, then just say it. Don’t lie to my face and tell me some stupid excuse” You felt a wet sensation trailing down your cheeks as you finally let your tears fall.

Fred gazed at your tear stained face once more with a guilty look before running out of the tent, not looking back once, and apparating away. Hermione, Ron and Harry all gave you a look and set out to try and find him.

“He’ll come to his senses Y/n, and he’ll realise what he’s done. Fred’s just really daft and hasn’t even thought of the fact that he might lose such an amazing girl” George whispered to you, wrapping his arms protectively around your shaking frame and kissing the top of your head.

The rest of the Weasley family, including Molly who had rushed back inside as soon as she saw Fred leave, gathered around to hold you in their embrace muttering soft apologies on behalf of Fred

“Why don’t you come back inside, dear? I’ll make you a cup of tea,” Molly said quietly, opening up her arms already starting to lead you out. “Arthur, Bill, Charlie and Percy, can you all handle the guests please?”

They nodded and separated from the small huddle. George and Ginny came along beside you, sweeping you away from Molly and wrapping their own arms around you. George wiped your tears away softly with his thumb and gave you a soft kiss on the temple.

“Thank you, both of you, for being such good friends. I love yous” You cracked a small solemn smile at the two as you made it inside the door of the Burrow

“We love you too Y/n/n. And we’ll always be here for you—” Ginny started

“—Even if Fred isn’t.” George cut off

The three of you shared one last embrace, hoping that things would be better by tomorrow.

it’s a truth universally acknowledged that if a tri movie is coming out, tumblr user dianaagron (clara for friends) won’t know about it until the day after, when she’ll wake up and check twitter after 84 years of not logging in and realize that yesterday was the day. actually, this time i remembered the episodes were out the same day they were released, but still it was because of good ol’ twitter, because with all the mess that’s going on with me (part of the reason why i’m never here) even if i happened to check at the beginning of the week when soushitsu was coming out, i still managed to completely forget about it in the span of a fucking day. also, i’m fucking pissed because i’ve always watched the thing after downloading the various episodes because that way i have all my stuff and i can go back and easily find caps and other stuff like that but nope not this time because i can’t fucking find a single torrent and i’m refusing to download subbed episodes because a) it’s gonna take so long to direct download something and b) what use are subbed episodes when i know i’d be replacing them with unsubbed ones as soon as i can find working dls (this is a cry of help: tell me where i can download the episodes, im dying, thank you)

one thing to take into account: i was extra pissed for various reasons yesterday night when i watched the first two episodes, so i’m not really sure if that’s why, compared to the shit that i had to deal with in real life, the episodes (in the contrary to all expectations) weren’t bad at all. truth is i actually liked this installment? INCREDIBLE, I KNOW. of course it had its nonsense moments and parts that made me roll my eyes (im buying pizza for everyone who can guess which were those moments) and other negative parts, but i really preferred movie 4 to movie 3. i’m guessing this is an unpopular opinion because i remember everyone was so happy with kokuhaku back in the day and i was the only soul going like lmao i didnt even cry but idk, i liked this one, it wasn’t bad. btw, i said i’m guessing mine could be an unpopular opinion because i’m writing this sorry excuse of a review before reading anything else cause i don’t want to be influenced :)))))

(save me ive written 500 words on nothing) (meanwhile i finally found torrent links) (and i had to pause the review because i ended up going out yesterday night so this is me talking one day later from what you’ve read before)

once again, i feel like nothing happened in the course of these four new episodes. now, i know i’m extremely slow when it comes to get plot points and all that (not because i’m that stupid, thank you very much, but because of my attention span varies from 1 second to 2 and a half so it’s hard for me to recall what happened in the previous installments unless i go and rewatch all of them - thing i won’t ever do because this girl right here is lazy as fuuuck) but if you sit down and think about what was revealed, you get close to nothing lmao.

winning points of the movie (for me):

not too many extreme closeups like in the previous installment. it flowed better, the animation quality wasn’t as terrible as it was in the previous four episodes (im saying this just by quickly looking at the caps i took - while in the other i had so many ugly caps here they all look presentable and usable) (i say this from the point of you of someone who makes edits of course, i dont have the knowledge of an animator lmao), the majority of the shots with mimi, which are the ones that i pay the most attention to, are super pretty, but also those with taichi’s!!! his design was super on point, i have many caps im probably gonna insert later of just him looking hella attractive, and sora!!! omg sora was so fucking beautiful in these episodes i was so :)))) yay for nice designs, they make me happy.

the lack of you know who for basically two episodes. it was so good, so nice, so calming. i was loving life and life was loving me.

HOW THEY HANDLED THE TAIORATO!!!! if you know me or if you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know this already, but i’m saying this in case i have new readers (HI) or, y’know, to swipe some dust off: i’m not the biggest fan of the main three. that comes from the fact that michi is my otp and i love taishiro probably too much for my own sanity, so i tend to be on the taichi/koushiro/mimi & yamato/sora/jyou side of things (which is like, super unpopular because if it’s not taiorato then it’s yamichi, so you get why my life is a constant struggle). anyway, thing is that i actually loved the interactions between the three? it was light and it felt super real, it could easily be relatable. it was also clear to me that taichi’s and yamato’s roles in sora’s life were blatantly different and i also loved to see how the two of them while being in the same situation reacted differently, but i’m gonna touch this topic later. overall tho, good job on the dynamic between those three. im clapping my hands, i wasn’t excited about it when the movie poster came out five months ago but i’m so happy that they made me love the parts with taichi, yamato and sora.

it wasn’t heavy on fight scenes. i know. I KNOW. but as i’ve said, i’m not the average digimon fan so i’m happy with my bonds developing and less fights and all that stuff :))))

meiko exceeding all expectations and NOT CRYING for all four episodes. such sorcery.

on the other hand tho

y’all, who the fuck is that ygdradude? am i supposed to know? did i miss a focal point? am i that disinterested in the plot to miss a fucking focal point????

also what the fuck was that part with i dont know his name, the teacher, with the white space shit and the talk about libra. what is libra, who is libra, what the hell, what the fuck

the fact that they basically wasted half an episode (the last one) on three evolutions. they really need to cut down the timing of those, for real

then again they could’ve just kept meiko away from tri in general if it was me

they were pulling some hikari shit right here (as well as some charlie chaplin sorcery for the whole sequence)

OKAY LISTEN, that fucking egg with the circular thing under it made me highkey hope for some sort of magic shit happening and bringing the 02 kids back because it looks like a digimental egg or however those things were called. like my hope was so highkey that i fucking ended up dreaming the night between me watching the first two episodes and the latter two that miyako was back. unfair. i hated it. i want my kids back.

and the episodes weren’t bad, come on. they went a little further with the plot by showing that the chick whose name i don’t remember had a partner that died and so that was the reason for the reboot, so they did give some answers, and at least the pacing of this movie was faster than in the previous one.

also, as i’ve said, idk what’s the popular opinion but i loved sora’s arc, it was nicely done and i don’t have anything to bitch about (except for meiko’s unnecessary presence). i felt for her and i wanted to wrap a blanket around her and just give her all the love.
