I have not posted new acquisitions to my CATS collection on Tumblr in almost two years (and maybe I will start again soon, we will see), but this is an item I did not think I would have a chance to own.
Tumblr media
It looks like an ordinary programme for the most part, but the little theatre company name at the top makes it a special one.
It is an Italian Tour 2009 programme that I obtained, with the help of kind friend (heel erg bedankt @hysperia!), from Bologna, Italy.
It has many wonderful pictures from the show, many which I have never seen, along with a full set of information about the production such as cast, creative, and band bios, theatre company details, and synopsis of the musical and songs throughout.
Tumblr media
Roberta Miolla as Victoria.
Tumblr media
Stefania Fratepietro as Jennytuttapois.
Tumblr media
Andrea Rossi as Ram Tam Taggher with some excited Queens, even Jenny!
Tumblr media
Massimiliano Pironti as Mangojerry and Maria Silvia Roli as Zampalesta.
Tumblr media
Loredana Sartori as Jellilora and Fabio Monti as Gus.
Tumblr media
Loredana Sartori as Occhibui and Gianluca Ciatti as Gattigre (who plays a chrous Cat named Caligola).
Tumblr media
Alessandro Neri as Deuteronomio and the rest of the cast.
Tumblr media
Alessandro Lanzillotti as Mr. Mistofeles.
Tumblr media
A tender acceptance of Giulia Ottobello as Grisabella and Alessandro Neri as Deuteronomio.
I was lucky to come across this looking for the cast recording CD, which I have not found yet, but this programme is not a poor compromise, is it?
@the-cat-at-the-theatre-door
I will let you know if you come across another Jemi, because I know you would love own one of these as well!

The complete list of films featured on this blog’s 2023 “31 Days of Oscar” marathon
Hello everyone,
Thank you once more for allowing me to present the annual marathon of Oscar-nominated films to your dashboards. This year, the films were grouped by genre or subgenre in primetime (5 PM Pacific into the night). This is the most exclusive period on this blog, as the selection of films that I can post and queue about is at its most limited. But at the same time, the blog is at its most accessible as this yearly marathon’s selection skew to more popular fare. I hope you enjoyed this year’s presentation of 31 Days of Oscar.
What follows is the exhaustive list of all 380 short- and feature-length films featured on this blog over the last thirty-one days for the 31 Days of Oscar marathon. This is down from last year’s record of 420. But that count remains only a fraction of the 5,019 films that have been nominated for Academy Awards since 1927.
Of those 380, 37 were short films (53 short films is the record, which was set last year). 343 were feature films.
BREAKDOWN BY DECADE 1927-1929: 6 1930s: 52 1940s: 53 1950s: 50 1960s: 37 1970s: 31 1980s: 25 1990s: 25 2000s: 27 2010s: 31 2020s: 50
TOTAL: 380
Year with most representation (2022 excluded): 1940 (11 films) Median year: 1967
Time for the list. 62 Best Picture winners and the one (and only) winner for Unique and Artistic Production that I featured this year are in bold. Asterisked (*) films are films I haven’t seen in their entirety as of the publishing of this post. Films primarily not in the English language are accompanied with their nation(s) of origin.

you have to take about amore more i NEED to know the silly little adventures he goes through on the daily
AAAAAAAA I am a bit shy but her it is for u
Soooo !!! Amore lives in North Italy district of Passione and is one of a bit mediun in power. He is in the spying team (if u can call that a team ,many of them dont know each over as to protect their lives from being killed) But our silly Amore is mostly just the msot flaboyant who fricking doesnt care ,he would wear the most spy like dress and wear a blond wig and go around like a lady or a man or Anything he wants. He had as a kid a big passiom to wear and make little clothes , he is a model in some parts of his job as a key visual for maling a good image in the north italy (mostly milan ).
He is actually born with really dark curly hair but he makes it straight every day till his hair is more burned than a cake he makes !!
"Amore" ,what means Love is pretty egoventrical but he even calks him self much worse like "Ama " what if we translate from italian what as full gramaticaly correct comes as "Lui AMA = He Loves "is like a calling to love him duhdhdbdbbdbdhf mean while Ambrosia is a gender neutral name meaning "Undying " what is a reference to his stand power what in some way gives him to look young (he found his ways to do this with a stand power out of this power )
He has in final an side kick ,mostly an bestie/little sister .He got tasked from his capo to teach a girl and instruct into the spying team ...well both weren't happy but now they are besties . Ama dresses like an anime girl in yearly 2009 and makes anime girl poses meanwhile his bestie wishes and becomes slytly homophobic because of him /j They watch Barbie movies together !!!^^
Near to the last things,he has a soft spot for kids and really loves his father figure who in some way saved him from a fate he much hates that came into his stand what kinda affects him and everyone in a radius to kinda bleed out (what Ama has a horrible phobia of ,not the best work for a dude scared of his own blood like crazy ...He just has his reasons and is scared to death that his fear might come true)
Extra note ,Ama loves cats and he has like 3 at his apartment !!!! And yes He is GAY , his bestie is a ace lesbian

'There are some familiar faces in the cast of the 2024 Netflix limited series Ripley. Created by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian, Ripley is a psychological thriller miniseries based on Patricia Highsmith's 1955 crime novel The Talented Mr. Ripley and subsequent book series. Though set in the 1960s, Ripley will still follow the same story of the career criminal, Tom Ripley (Andrew Scott), who is hired by a wealthy man to retrieve his spoiled and freewheeling son, Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn), from Italy, a task that quickly turns dark as Tom becomes more and more obsessed with Dickie.
Originally set to air on Showtime, Ripley will instead premiere on Netflix on April 4, 2024. Zaillian, who wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay for Schindler's List, also wrote and directed all eight episodes of Ripley, which appear to have been shot entirely in black-and-white. Ripley marks the first full-length TV series based on Highsmith's books, but there are a number of The Talented Mr. Ripley film adaptations, including the 1999 film starring Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It will be tough to beat that lineup, but the cast of 2024's Ripley definitely looks promising...
Andrew Scott As Tom Ripley
Andrew Scott Is 47 Years Old
Actor: Andrew Scott was born on October 21, 1976, in Dublin, Ireland. A prolific theater actor to this day, Scott first broke big onscreen as Moriarty in the BBC's Sherlock series (2010-2017).Scott's performance in Sherlock as the titular detective's nemesis earned him a BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actor. He gained further prominence as The Priest (often called "The Hot Priest") in season 2 of Fleabag in 2019. Most recently, Scott played the lead role of Adam in the 2023 romantic drama All Of Us Strangers, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor...
Character: In Ripley, Scott plays the titular murderous con artist, Tom Ripley. Scott is the latest in a string of talented actors to take on the role of the mysterious grifter. Most notably, Matt Damon played Tom in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999).
Johnny Flynn As Dickie Greenleaf
Johnny Flynn Is 41 Years Old
Actor: Johnny Flynn was born on March 14, 1983, in Johannesburg, South Africa. During his tenure as Dylan Witter in the Netflix sitcom Lovesick (2014-2018), Flynn gained prominence for playing a young Albert Einstein in season 1 of the biographical anthology series Genius in 2017. He went on to play Mr. Knightley in the 2020 film adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma and David Bowie in the 2020 biopic Stardust about the music legend. Flynn also starred in The Outfit (2022) and One Life (2023). He is also the frontman of his eponymous band, Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit...
Character: In Ripley, Flynn plays Dickie Greenleaf, the handsome and affluent object of Tom Ripley's twisted affection. Flynn will be following in the footsteps of Jude Law, who portrayed Dickie in 1999's The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Dakota Fanning As Marge Sherwood
Dakota Fanning Is 30 Years Old
Actor: Dakota Fanning was born on February 23, 1994, in Conyers, Georgia. Fanning's breakout role was playing Sean Penn's daughter Lucy in the 2001 film I Am Sam, just one year after her acting debut. Fanning went on to become a prominent child star in 2000s, starring in films like Uptown Girls, The Cat in the Hat, and War of the Worlds. From 2009-2012, Fanning played Voluri member Jane in The Twilight Saga. She also voiced the titular role in Coraline and played Cherie Currie in the music biopic The Runaways. In 2023, Fanning reunited with Man on Fire co-star Denzel Washington in Equalizer 3...
Character: In Ripley, Fanning plays Dickie's friend and on-and-off love interest, Marge Sherwood. As shown in Netflix's Ripley trailer, Marge becomes Tom's rival as she grows more and more suspicious of his intentions. In the 1999 film adaptation of Highsmith's novel, the role of Marge was played by Gwyneth Paltrow.
Ripley Supporting Cast & Characters
Eliot Sumner as Freddie Miles: Best known as a musician, Eliot Sumner plays Dickie's school friend Freddie Miles in Ripley. Sumner has also appeared in films like The Gentleman (2020), No Time to Die (2020), and Infinite Storm (2022). Sumner is following in the footsteps of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who played Freddie in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999).
Maurizio Lombardi as Inspector Pietro Ravini: Italian actor Maurizio Lombardi plays Inspector Pietro Ravini in Ripley. Lombardi has starred in a number of Italian films, including Tutta Un'altra Vita (2019) and Amusia (2022). Lombardi is also known for his work in 2019's Pinocchio and the HBO miniseries The New Pope (2019-2020), which also stars The Talented Mr. Ripley star Jude Law and Lombardi's Ripley co-star John Malkovich.
Margherita Buy: Though her role has not yet been identified, Italian actress Margherita Buy is set to appear in Ripley. Buy has primarily starred in Italian films, including La stazione (1990), Le fate ignoranti (2001), Giorni e nuvole (2007), Mia madre (2015), Il sol dell'avvenire (2023), and Volare (2023). She also starred in Romeo è Giuletta, a 2024 Italian film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, with Ripley co-star Maurizio Lombardi.
John Malkovich: John Malkovich briefly appears in the Ripley trailer in an unidisclosed role, in which he can be heard telling Tom, "I like the name." Malkovich's presence in Ripley is notable as he played Tom Ripley in the 2002 film adaptation of Ripley's Game, the third book in Highsmith's Ripley series. Malkovich is also known for starring in Places in the Heart (1984), Dangerous Liaisons (1988), In the Line of Fire (1993), and Burn After Reading (2008), and for playing a satirical version of himself in 1999's Being John Malkovich.'

Statua di Re Gino in San Giovanni in Persiceto, Italy In the Piazza del Popolo, a state pays tribute to an orange cat known by the name Re Gino (King Gino), who was the mascot of the city of San Giovanni in Persiceto. Born in June 2009, Gino was a frequent visitor to shops and offices all around town. He developed a large local following, and many were devastated by his untimely passing in 2018. (It is suspected that Gino was hit by a car.) This bronze statue was created by Claudio Nicoli to honor the memory of the little king. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/king-gino-statue

Make sure to show off your builds in the comments as well for others to enjoy! You might also like. If you have any questions or input please comment below. The miter gauge and track are sloppy with about. you can't remove the router plate without removing the fence and that is a major pain. But the accompanying fence is almost well designed. Hopefully these plans helped you have the confidence to tackle a project like this. It fits my ancient skill plunge router perfectly. Using the diagram below, mark the line with a straight edge and cut the taper with a circular saw. Not only does it look nicer but it will be the correct angle of the back.
#Skill xbench full
Rather than leaving the longer leg a full 2×6, we need to cut a taper at the top of the back. Cycle through exercises for 3 rounds Rest for 20 seconds between each round 10 x Pushups 10 x Bench Dips 10 x Mountain climbers 10 x Russian Twist 10 x. To make the angled cut marks you can used a speed square, by pivoting the corner until the correct angle is aligned with the edge of the board, as shown below. The angled cuts can be cut with either a miter saw or marked with a speed square and cut with a circular saw. The 2圆s should be cut down per the following diagram.
#Skill xbench how to
The slides from almost every presentation are available in the Presentations section. These plans will guide you through how to build and outdoor bench with back using only four 2圆s and limited power tools in about 30 minutes for only about $30 in lumber. Read the complete list of conferences I have participated in. Since then, I have taken part in conferences, various industry events (ProZ, Translation Forum Russia, Com&Tec, TeTra3, International Translation Day, Elia Together, etc.) and have collaborated with universities, educational institutions and associations from Italy and Spain, mainly teaching about productivity, project management and technology applied to translation. In 2009 I first spoke at the regional ProZ conference in Barcelona. Read "How to find Everything on the Internet" (in Italian only) Lecturer My new book, written in collaboration with Alessandra Ghiazza, called Trovare tutto su internet - Strategie, strumenti e trucchi per la ricerca online came out at the start of 2019. Read "The Irreplaceable Translator" (in Italian, but the English version is coming soon!) Specialisation and positioning for translation professionals, a short guide to personal branding, which has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese. In 2017, I released my second book, The Irreplaceable Translator. Read "Complete guide to OmegaT" (in Italian only) Techniques, tips and tricks for translators and project managers, which has been adopted as a textbook in various universities.
#Skill xbench manual
In 2012, along with Sergio Alasia, I published the first manual dedicated to the OmegaT CAT tool, called Complete guide to OmegaT. I now devote myself mainly to managing translation projects (about 200 per year) and less to translation itself. Until recently, I translated an average of about 700,000 words a year. I specialise in the automotive and IT sectors. I have been translating and revising technical texts from English, Spanish, German and Catalan into Italian since 1997. In 2017, a project parallel to Qabiria brought me a lot of satisfaction: DiventareTraduttori, a site where aspiring translators can find all the questions and (almost) all the answers to the most frequently asked questions in the profession (in Italian only). With a philosophy of high-quility at a low price, Skil parts and products have helped millions of crafters grow their talents and their businesses with industrial-grade products at a fraction of the price.
#Skill xbench for mac
The best Mac alternative is Geekbench 5, which is free.If that doesnt suit you, our users have ranked more than 10 alternatives to Xbench and six of them are available for Mac so hopefully you can find a suitable replacement. For nearly a century Skil replacement parts have been keeping your high-performance Skil tools running smoothly and affordably. The site is currently being restyled and is not accessible at this moment. There are many alternatives to Xbench for Mac if you are looking for a replacement.
#Skill xbench free
In 2008, along with two colleagues, I founded Qabiria Studio SLNE, whose tenth birthday we celebrated last year.Īnother project I'm very proud of is Allerglobal, a free service for people travelling abroad, which lets you make a list of your food allergies in a chosen foreign language, all ready to print out and show in restaurants or at medical institutions in the visited country.

ORIGIN OF MATHEMATICS AND MATHEMATICAL THINKING
My second topic for this project is Origin Of Mathematics and Mathematical Thinking(Bridging the Gaps – Origin Of Mathematics and Mathematical Thinking with Dr. Keith Devlin) by Dr. Keith Devlin hosted by Dr. Waseem Akhtar. I decided to write about this topic because we must always remember how privileged we are in this modern times of scientific learning. We are so used to making use of well-formulated scientific theories and expressions that we rarely stop to consider the work put in by their creators.
The following lessons can be learnt from studying the origin of mathematics and mathematical thinking: Unlike language, mathematic is quite difficult to learn because it is not an innate feature in human. The difficulty in learning it comes from it being abstract because most mathematical concepts are are outside our lived experience. Finally, mathematics was invented by a combination of roles played by Leonardo (inventing the first computing evolution in Italy in the 13th century) and Steve Jobs at Apple Computers (inventing the Macintosh which marked the world's second evolution of personal computers ).
The guest speaker is Dr. Keith Devlin, a Consulting Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University and now co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford’s Human-Sciences and Technologies Advanced Research Institute, founded in 2006. He is also a member of Stanford’s Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI), an important research center for work in computational linguistics, computer science, and mathematics. Devlin received his bachelor’s (special) in mathematics at Kings College, London and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Bristol in 1971. (Erik J. Larson, 2022). Such laws range from the legal recognition of non-human animal sentience to the absolute lack of any anti- cruelty laws, with no regard for animal welfare.Īs of November 2019, 32 countries have formally recognized non-human animal sentience. Animal rights vary greatly among countries and territories.
