Okay so we all know that the FORGER family's last name is kinda a play on words:
Tumblr media
Their family is fake, just meant for disguise.
NOW the old couple that moved in next door, their last name is Authen. This may be stretching it but I believe their last name is a play on words for authentic:

So I've just finished Blue Eye Samurai and I've been thinking
The fact that she was hidden because 'the bad men' - not just bigoted, superstitious locals, but specifically 'the bad men were hunting her', implies she's the bastard of someone very important, a shame they couldn't let survive.
We now know her 'mother' was just a maid sent to protect here - further suggestion that her parents are important, come from a well-off family. And that her mother was killed by one of the white men, who also tried to burn Mizo alive when she was a baby.
I can see a Japanese lord seeing his wife give birth to a baby with blue eyes and going mad - but if that was the case, why would the white man kill the Japanese woman? Be so horrified by what had happened he'd burn the baby alive? Why would the Japanese family pay a maid to keep the child safe after the mother died?
Because, knowing that that isn't her actual mother, we've got another option. What if there were four white men in Japan, and one woman?
What if one of the men brought his wife? What if she had an affair with a Japanese lord? That would explain why the white man killed Mizu's mother in fury, tried to kill the bastard child. Would explain why a Japanese family and Japanese maid would go to such lengths to protect the child.
It's a theory. But - and this is all trusting that Fowler isn't lying, which, admittedly, a stretch - I think it's a theory that makes an awful lot of sense, and would make a particularly good parallel to Akemi.
When Fowler finds out who she is, he says, 'So YOU'RE the one-' and suddenly knows her entire history. She's not just any bastard sired on a local woman and abandoned. She's important.

Very interesting that Adam was the first human soul in heaven. Either means he's not a dad, or Abel ended up downstairs.
Or maybe
Someone's lying

i absolutely adore the way this is framed.
i was rewatching kaufmo's abstraction scene to figure out the placement of the rooms for a fic i'm writing, and i was carefully analyzing every frame to make sure i got the correct placement.
while watching, i noticed an interesting detail: when pomni and ragatha reach for one another, kinger's door can be seen in the background. and not just half of it or a bit - because we can see a bit of the other doors of the abstracted while kaufmo's running around - but the entirety of the door.
Tumblr media
i don't know if this means anything, but i like to imagine this shows kinger went through something similar to this. he's been around for the longest out of the current six, possibly out of everyone ever, so he's had time to witness abstractions. there are ten abstractions we know of, kaufmo's not included; so maybe he's tried to pull some people out of the way, or was caught during the havoc created by queenie's abstraction.
just some random thought i wanted to share.
and i've noticed my order is off. i found a list on a youtube short i've meanwhile lost the link to:
Tumblr media
i was close, though. so close.

Crazy conspiracy theory that I've thought about for months now that's looking to be more possible than I thought :
All four major gods will die. Alerion in the first war, Enderian, Netherum, and Fable in the second.
Their children will take their places. Athena of the Nether, Rae of the End, and Icarus of the Overworld.
Will will still never have a home again. There will never be another Aether.
Either that or Epros finally convinces Kinaxus that maybe making gods in the first place wasn't a good idea and they both agree not to do it again.

Theory.
They disconnect Laudna from Delilah but instead of losing warlock levels she gains a new patron. One that will protect her instead. One that maybe walks in the shadows between life and death, clad in dark raven feathers, long removed from the soul it once was.

alastor making charlie agree to ANY kind of deal, even one that doesn't include her soul, is actually an amazing power move. like. now he has SOME power over her. not a lot, mind, but she is a princess of hell. we all saw how powerful she actually can be during the finale and any sort of advantage when it comes to that is valuable and alastor knows it. my man knows what he's doing.

I didn't really understand why vox thought there was a power vacuumed after Al almost died considering he was still alive at the end and to an extent vox knew he had probably lived. I think after looking back at the last episode though I might get why. From the looks of things Al gets quite a bit of his power from his staff. Of course the staff breaks in the fight but once he gets back he doesn't have his staff which makes me think that he may be weaker in some way without it. If this is true then there definitely would be a power vacuum.
That or Al losing the fight will be turned in some way by vox to make him look less credible/weak.

There's many opportunities to look at yourself in the mirror as all 3 androids, and most of them just stand there, looking at themselves. But in Jimmy's bar, when you first meet hank as Connor, instead of standing in front of the mirror for as long as you hold down the button, he just checks his appearance and leaves, because he's yet to begin questioning his identity.

Hobie would probably still be an anarchist on Earth-42, but I feel like he would be more of a fabled underground heavy metal rocker who starts protests against the Sinister Six and what not

Thinking about how Zim himself outright says in the Floopsy Bloops Shmoopsy comic that "Irkens can't feel love *GIANT ASTERISK* except for their Tallest, snacks, and war". So it's really not a matter of not being able to, it's a matter of social conditioning. Irkens are allowed to and expected to love their Tallest, but they can't love anyone else because they're not supposed to. Kinda like how conservatives insist that women shouldn't really want or enjoy sex, but they can't be asexual because everyone has to be straight and women need to submit to the sexual desires of their husbands, and to do or feel otherwise is "going against nature". Conservative propaganda pushes the idea that everyones' bodies, brains, gender identities, sexual orientations and desires have to fit a particular mold and anything else is either "not natural", meaning someone has to actively force themselves to not fit just to spite god, has to be manipulated into it, or their deviation from the norm is automatically a disorder, disability, or an abnormality that has to be corrected purely because it's an abnormality. But just because they say that's how it is doesn't make it true.
So it is a perfectly valid interpretation to suggest that Zim is socially conditioned into compulsory aromantic asexuality/inability to even feel friendship the same way conservatives socially condition people into compulsory heterosexuality. He may not only feel things that Irken society doesn't want him to feel, but also not feel what Irken society does want him to feel. Like comphets trying to force themselves to like the opposite sex, Zim may feel that he has to "love" his Tallest because that's what's expected of him. But it's forced and not genuine and he has no context to understand that the feelings he's supposed to have aren't really there because he hasn't experienced the real thing yet because he represses any feelings that might be directed toward anyone other than the Tallest. That's why he's so disobedient toward them. He goes through the motions of being devoted, but he doesn't truly care about what would actually please them because their feelings don't really matter to him. So he just does what he wants regardless of their wishes and expects them to like it and if they don't they're wrong. But it still stings to feel rejected by them because he's been taught that he should value their opinion of him more than anything.

So the protag is mapbot, explained
Spoilers for the ending of Help Wanted 2
Help Wanted 2
The Staff Bots look like the puppet
There's puppet imagery all over the game. Tentacles everywhere. She plays a big role, but one that's unseen
The ending
The puppet is famously a character who was killed then possessed something
We see our hands multiple times
They're HUMAN hands
We receive the puppet action figure
There's a charging station in front of us
We see a human hand
We are jumped by other staff bots
We wake up. Only NOW does our vision have the staff bot border on it
We weren't map bot the entire time
We see Cassie. We hand her the mask
NOW our hands are robotic
We became map bot
It's a story about us being killed to possess a staff bot
That's why the puppet has such a big role in this story without actually appearing
