I just started Baldur's Gate 3 and would love some ler! tword hesdcanons for Astarion if you're feeling inspired? “Darling, you’re ticklish? Aha, how adorable.”

Astarion’s had a couple centuries to practice the art of gentle, and sometimes ticklish, touches. Of course he takes up the opportunity to work his craft. 

He’ll say the sweetest things to beckon his lee closer, with fleeting touches along sides and hips. “Come here, my dear. I promise I’ll be as gentle as a babe. Just a bit closer, hm?”

More words, sweet as honey, until he has his lee pinned under him. No matter the position, he wants physical contact the whole time. “Mm, I always did enjoy how you looked beneath me.”

He loves it when his lees become shy and flustered. It encourages his flirtatious antics even more. But, if they don’t? That’s okay. He loves a good challenge. 

Astarion’s touch is deliberate, but light and teasy. He takes his time to find the spots that make his lee squeal, and claws over it with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “My, you are a sensitive little thing, aren’t you?”

Eye contact is huge with Astarion; he drinks in his lees’ every reaction to his tickles. Every little giggle, gasp, squeak. His lee has never looked more beautiful, and he’s sure to tell them just that.

Speaking of drinking, it’s too tempting not to think about all of the blood pumping through his lee’s veins while he tickles them. He won’t drink without permission, but that doesn’t mean he can’t indulge in other ways.

“I could eat you right up, darling. And you know what? I think I will..” 

Astarion knows how to use his fangs with just enough pressure to tickle, and if he’s especially close with his lee, nowhere is safe from his nibbles. 

His favorite place to nibble are necks, but he’s also fond of ribs, hips, and thighs. He’ll love if his lee is especially sensitive to his light biting. “Gods, you are delectable. And those precious little giggles of yours just make you all the more sweeter.~” 

He could tease and tickle his lee all night, but if they truly need a break, he’ll ease off…just expect him to be a lil’ pouty. 

“Stop? Already? But, I was having so much fun. And I can tell that you were, too. Must we end our playtime so soon? …Oh, fine. Just promise I won’t have to wait too long before I can have you again.”

Of course, Astarion doesn’t always have to have an easy time with his lees. He loves it when they’re stern or, if anything, when they don’t want to admit how ticklish they are.

“Pft, if you’re not ticklish, then I’m not a vampire. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I find it rather cute. You can look a beast dead in its eye, so long as it doesn’t wiggle its claws at you, hah.”

He, like most, if not all vampires, loves a good hunt. He can and will pursue obstinate lees for fun. Having stealth on his side is a huge advantage. 

His fancy, airier voice turns growly when he’s on the hunt. And, those honeyed words become devilish taunts. 

“You might want to run faster, darling. I’m right behind you.~ Perhaps if you surrender, I’ll be merciful.” 

Astarion gets a huge ego boost if he manages to get a stubborn lee laughing. "My name sounds wonderful on your lips. But, I would love to hear a 'please'."

If he has to hunt his lee down, it'll be awhile before he lets them go. "You're all mine, tav. Laugh for me~."

why does listening to classical music automatically make you “an old soul” “nerdy” “weird” “boring”

like? is it just me having a different standpoint or do i not get it? why is it that classical music is considered boring? what caused that? what???? im convinced the people saying these things have listened to like. vivaldi’s four seasons. boccherini’s minuet. offenbach’s can-can. and called it a day. these people probably don’t even know that it’s called “minuet” and only refer to the toreador march as the “fnaf song” <- (i don’t have anything against this per se, fnaf is a really cool thing i just never got into it fully and it only irks me just a little but that’s a whole other topic) without knowing what it’s from. now that goes to say i don’t expect everyone who criticizes and doesn’t like it to immediately go listen to the entire library of classical music and be enlightened but it’s a little offputting when you go out of your way to continuously remind someone that they’re weird for listening to and enjoying operas and/or classical music.

that last little bit was taken from what my friend— or i guess ex-friend now but the term still seems unfamiliar— would kind of do to me but to a lower degree i think. they said they found my interest in opera cool and would .. kind of listen to my rants and stuff and i appreciate it but then they’d go and make offhand comments about how weird i was and would use my interest in opera to sort of like.. “you can’t be talking you like OPERA” in a jokey manner i guess? that sort of thing. i thought that was normal and even though it hurt my feelings, it was all jokes, yeah? [i recognize now that thats not how that works and even though occasional jokes are okay your interests should never be the butt of the “joke” if it’s constantly repeated and hurts your feelings] and i think people don’t realize how much of a foundation classical music in itself is. i cannot tell you how many times i’ve recognized a piece to be a fragment from an opera or a mozart composition or like.. jeez i don’t fucking know, beethoven. out in the wild. in pop music, in movies, in shows, etc. even instagram reels/tiktok. if you frequent those you’ll come to find that there are a lot of trending “audios” using like.. lacrimosa or vivaldi’s four seasons or fuckin like prokofiev’s dance of the knights or act II of swan lake. i remember my mom was watching a netflix movie, a fucking cheesy ass romance or something, and there was a moment where the flower duet from lakmé played. the goddamn mario movie has a clip of carmen’s “l’amour est un oiseau rebelle”/the habanera within the first like, what. ten? fifteen minutes? i might be getting needlessly annoyed but it’s really fucking aggravating getting told i’m weird for liking something supposedly no one else under the age of 50 does. thanks guys. i really appreciate your supportiveness— but that’s besides the point.

my main reason that i’m even writing this is because my assumption (of course, this is most likely an incorrect assumption because i’m only 15 and only have so much life experience) is that the same people who often go around saying that classical music is boring and dull are the ones who are constantly wanting to push the arts to be funded. if you’re gonna fund the arts, fund ALL of them. not just “‘“‘“modern”””” stuff. not just musical theatre or plays. i think people forget that? maybe they ignore it. maybe they just don’t know. that’s why education is so important.

now that being said, i know seeing an opera or going to a concert can be expensive— and i wish that wasn’t the case. there’s always free livestreams, there’s always concerts, there’s albums, youtube videos, i know when i was in chicago i listened to the classical radio, etc. nothing beats seeing these things live in the theatre but it’s better than nothing i think?

also, i don’t mean to say classical is better than anything i mentioned above. no. i’m just sick and fucking tired of being told this and that about my interest when all i want to do is to be happy and consume something in peace without being hardcore judged for it and i really appreciate the small little operablr community.

there’s definitely more that i missed to this so if i think of anything more i’ll add on to it but i’m just… hrrrrgggg anger rage frustration. head in hands. so tired.

Hey :) question about Kuroko No Basket

I’ve heard that it’s basically a sports anime with powers in it and from the clips I’ve seen on TikTok i guess it’s true. I don’t think I can say I HATE sport anime/mangas with powers in it since I’ve never given them a proper chance. I tend to just read/watch ones that are realistic I guess? It’s more about the character & their love for the sport I don’t even need to know much about the sport the anime is about. I’m not much of a sports fan like I’m not too crazy about a particular sport but if there was one it’d probably be football ⚽️ !? With KNB I see that you write for the fandom and I enjoy your Bleach fics (your writing is amazing btw) whenever I like an authors fics I tend to check out their other works. I have enjoyed Slam Dunk idk if you’ve read/watched it but it was a fun read and amazing art !! I’m not a huge basketball fan but I did enjoy the matches I felt very hyped reading them.

What I’m trying to ask is how would you try to get someone to watch KNB that has taken an interest in it but isn’t sure if they’d like it or not ? The thing that’s just putting me off is the power thing but I also feel like I could be missing out on something great 🤔

okay, so obviously i don't know your personal tastes and interests, so there's a good chance you could end up hating it even if i sold it to you really well, BUT. i looooove knb, and i guess i can tell you what i like about it and maybe you can decide whether or not to watch it based on that! spoiler-free discussion about the series under the cut (or, at least, as much spoiler-free as i could make it!)

firstly, the powers thing is not as bad as people make it out to be, and even though we joke about it in the fandom, 99.9% of the characters don't actually have like. magical powers. it's just that they each have their own special, extremely specific set of skills and abilities, and since it's a shonen and they're dumb teenage boys, they give those abilities ridiculous names. but really they're just playing basketball and the rules of the sport are the same in the knb universe as they are in OUR universe. yes, some of the special effects might be exaggerated, like sparks coming out of a character's eyes, or characters lingering mid-air for more than a few seconds, but i've always taken that to mean that's how the characters feel, and not what's actually happening. it's an animation technique and not an actual reflection of real events, and for the most part they work really well. the games feel exciting, elevated, larger-than life and almost battle-esque because of these effects and i personally feel like they don't overdo it in the first two seasons. they have "powers," but the powers are just that a lot of them are really good at one specific thing.

SECONDLY. kurobas as a story feels unique to me because it represents two journeys within the same storyline: a) the classic sports shonen underdogs wanting to make it to the top and b) gifted kids who have already been to the top and are dealing with the burnout that comes from having such immense talent at an early age. it's a story of the underdog AND the overpowered, and it somehow manages to get you to sympathize with both!

since you mentioned characters & their love for the sport, i'd also like to mention that this series explores that really well and with a surprising amount of nuance. it's got a lot of introspection about natural talent vs hardwork, teamwork vs emphasizing individual talent, growing apart in relationships, victory vs loss etc etc. it's got similar bait-and-switch tactics that bleach does, where characters that initially read as cocky or unlikable grow on you heavily, but it's also got characters who are assholes and stay assholes throughout the series, no redemption whatsoever :D

the main ensemble is soooo well-characterized, they are all really fun, and we do get to spend a lot of time with some of the important side characters as well. it's hard to explain, but the characters are very memorable and the artwork contributes to that, even though nobody in real life has natural green hair or whatever. it's a visual technique that adds flavour to some of the main story beats, and come on. nobody in the history of anime has ever had normal hair. they're cartoons!

kuroko is literally the best protagonist ever. despite not having conventional strengths, all plot points revert back to him, and his influence has a ripple effect on all the characters in the series. we love a shonen hero with IMPACT, but also: he is funny as fuck

kind of an addition to the previous point, but the protagonist and deuteragonist combo of knb is soooooo good, kuroko and kagami's relationship is central to the storyline and their growth + development over the course of the series is SO good. i know people have their issues with the movie (and for good reason!), but one thing almost all fans can agree on is that the last scene with kuroko and kagami was one of the best scenes in kurobas history. they're good boys and they really do love each other a lot (whether you want to see that as platonic or romantic) :')

the anime (which is how i interact with knb) has amazing OSTs, and the VAs do a fantastic job for the most part (even though there are a few scenes in season 2 that get clowned to death for Reasons). it's still a pretty great adaptation overall!

this is not directly related to the series itself but the fandom has some of the BEST fanfic and fan art i've ever seen, truly God Tier stuff and lots of fun ships to choose from, if that's your thing

at the end of the day, knb is best approached with a heavy suspension of disbelief. if you're expecting hard-core realism, maybe knb is not the best example of that, but we already had that with slam dunk and knb doesn't try to bastardize that by trying to recreate it. it's an independent story in its own right, with its own thematic concerns and quirks. if you're in the mood for some whimsy, some DRAMA, some great character arcs, some solid, fast-paced story-telling with suspense, knb is a great watch. season 3 is probably the weakest, but that's not to say i hated it! i still ate it up and enjoyed every single second of it, so yes, i'd vouch for all three seasons + 1 ova + the movie!

#the low tiger growls in the shield of aegis OST alone made me give this series like. an 8/10 #it's ridiculous and fun and emotional in all the best ways possible but standard warnings for shonen-typical humor i guess :/ #aside from that i really enjoyed it and i hope you do too! if you ever give it a chance and end up loving it please come back here #and tell me who your new faves are😅 #asks #kurobas tag #OH. and thank you for saying nice things about my writing. that's so nice💖

I feel like there are a LOT of things that I could go on about it over (ya know...about the blatant blasphemy everywhere in it). The sympathetic lucifer story, the twisted Eden backstory, the angel's being Like That (I mean I guess you can look at it like "Some Christians act this way towards people because they think being Christian makes them better than others" but there is a better way to address that than the way this show is)....I fear that the day will come that they use a God/Jesus character and paint Him in a poor light while uplifitng Lucifer. I'm not sure if I would be more angry about that or sad/worried on behalf of the creators of the show.

I can see what feels like wasted potential in the more original aspects of the show. I feel like it could have been so much better if she had taken the original ideas/characters and the idea of redemption/forgivness and then placed them all in a fictional separate world that didn't include, as you said, the obvious blasphemy. I enjoy the music, the animation/art style (granted the pilot's animation was preferable).

....I feel like they were just trying to make St. Peter look like a stereotypical youth pastor. And one of the songs says "It'll take time to cover my vast multitude of sins" and I can't help but be like "that isn't hOW thAt WORKs"

I appriciate your response. It's good to see a lot of my thoughts were shared. I have difficulties pulling myself out of things when I get pulled in, so I've had some time to really think about the things that COULD have been good and the things that take away from it as a whole, what I'd have done differently, etc.

I've just taken to praying for the people who have worked on it and hoping they have the decency to not put "God" or "Jesus" on screen in the next season and make them awful. (Though I guess I did KNOW that they couldn't proceed with the show without taking a lot of things out the the Bible and twisting it around).

Yep. When you enter childrens spaces to sexualize their media and don’t even try to keep it away from the main tags you are the problem. At least with fandoms like Steven Universe it was agreed upon to put nsfw under Steven Galaxy. Undertale had Undertail. If you’re going to be weird about cartoon characters from media enjoyed by minors at least make a separate tag and leave the main tag safe for minors. It isn’t that difficult to do. It’s basic decency.

So, previous anon here but I felt like I just had to say this, but it wasn't in-line with SEO blogs, so it's seperate!

Anyway! WoX, to me, is a hobby. A hobby that I put time and effort into, and spend hours in perfecting and enjoying. When I don't feel like enjoying it or in the slumps? I take a step back, but make sure I finish what I started, since I know that I'd get gratification from it later.

Most people also spend money for their hobbies, whether it be maintenance or upgrading their experience with new items! Like artists buying sketchbooks, paints, drawing tablets, or art programs. Readers and their splurging on books and Kindles. Or my one cousin who loves guitars and constantly buys a frankly outrageous amount of picks he will never use. It just makes him happy!

So, I really don't see the point in people demonizing others when buying status, VIP, or ad-free. Or complaining how some people put too much effort and importance into WoX. Of course there are limits, as there are to everything! At the same time, though, you really don't have to spend money if you don't want to. Sure, your experience might not be as great, but so many people are doing just fine without.

Plus, there are chances for free VIP or status' with being gifted them, or annual status comps. It's not like it's impossible to have a good experience regardless if that's what you want. Money has to be spent somewhere to keep the sites open. If you think its an exuberant price, then don't spend it.

If you think that some people are putting in way too much effort or time on sites, let them be. You don't have to. For a lot of people stuck in their houses for one reason or another, this is a perfect social hobby to get into. If you came here to just RP or whatnot, no one's stopping you! Others enjoy the responsibility and job aspect of it too!

Again, like I said before, there can be instances where status' can seem to be too much money. You can just choose not to spend the money, since it's not something you have to spend money on if you want. Status comps could offer that status, and just because you don't have a status---doesn't mean you can't RP or anything.

Also, there definitely people who spend way too much money, or people that put waaayyyy too much importance on sites. That's their choice at the end of the day, and it's up to you to choose how you curate your experience.

Not every digital artist uses Wacom tablets or iPads. Not every digital artist uses Clip Studio Paint or Procreate. Sometimes they post their stuff on X, or Instagram, or Tumblr, or YouTube, or TikTok.

All of this to say; WoX is a hobby that everyone has a different level of engagement into it. It's up to you how much energy, time, and effort you want to put into it, but don't put down or make fun of others when they want to go the nine yards. I'm honestly pretty embarrassed sometimes to admit I really love my job and time on WoX (even with all the downs) because of all the current and ex WoX-ers shitting on it.

But, yeah! Curate your experience, and if you don't like it, change it and see if it works. If you decide it's not worth it, then it's not worth it. Change what's horrible, but let others live. It's just a hobby, after all.

- Really likes rollercoasters, went to Alton Towers for Jimmys birthday and sat next to Grian on the Smiler, they were both a mess afterwards because it’s one of the most loopy rollercoasters in England (correct me if I’m wrong here).

- So don’t be surprised if the episode after the one that comes out on Friday (it’s already out now Ep.8) is him breaking allyship with Fwhip

"Hi, guys! Today I have tickets to see a Gryffindor Lions hockey game, so I thought I'd finally do my highly requested blog." Leo panned the camera from his sketchbook to his face and body. He was wearing a KnuttyArts sweatshirt. "This is my 200th TikTok, and I figured it was the perfect time to show you all what my life really looks like."

The video skipped from Leo's face to the sidewalk as he walked toward the stadium. "I've lived in Gryffindor for about seven months now, and I've never been to one of their hockey games. I played goalie all the way through high school, but then I went to art school and was no longer able to play."

The next skip took the TikTok to the inside of the stadium just as the team was coming out of the tunnel. Leo had a seat in the second row from the glass. "As some of you may know, I've done a few portraits of some of the players. The rainbow-lit Captain Black seemed to be the most popular, but I've also done Logan Tremblay, James Potter, Finn O'Hara, and Remus Lupin, the man formerly known as the hot guy on the bench." The camera flipped back to Leo as he described the players, putting finger quotes around Remus' description.

Leo paused the recording on his TikTok, hoping to get further into the game before recording anything more. He was watching the players skate around on the ice when suddenly, Tremblay and O'Hara skated over in front of him and were whispering to each other. They then pointed at him, motioning him to come to the glass where they could talk.

He walked down the steps shakily as he approached his celebrity crushes, not that he would tell anyone that, and shyly waved when he reached the bottom.

"I love your TikToks!" He heard Finn shout, making a heart gesture with his hands. "My portrait looked so good!"

Leo couldn't believe that someone from the Gryffindor Lions saw their portrait. He knew that if Finn had seen his portrait, that meant that everybody on the team had probably seen them.

Leo knew that his art page was extremely popular compared to most TikToks. He had a large following, and it's only normal for someone famous to have seen works.

"Caps looked amazing! We really appreciate your support for the LGBTQIA+ community!"

Logan's yelling had attracted some more of the teammates, and soon, half of them were gathered around Leo.

He had grown up looking up to a majority of these people, and he felt so overwhelmed he thought he was going to cry.

"Thank you. You guys have been amazing in supporting us too. I'm happy for you two, Captain and Lupin."

The game was about to start, and Leo was sad that he wouldn't get to talk to the players any longer, but he must have shown it on his face because the next things he knew, he was being asked to come back to the locker room.

He watched the rest of the game, recording a few clips, but it was over quickly, the Lions winning 4-1.

Leo walked towards the closed off section, coming face to face with the one and only Marlene.

"Are you Leo Knut?" When he nodded, Marlene continued speaking. "I was told you were given permission to come into the locker room. Please follow me."

He did as told, respectfully keeping his phone in his pocket. He knew that the locker room was a private place, and the players probably wouldn't appreciate him recording their rituals and routines.

"Oh my god guys, he's here!" Was what greeted him as he walked in.

"Hi?" Leo said, standing awkwardly in front of the door.

Most of the team turned to look at him, some looking confused.

"Who's this?" Kuny asked, staring intimidatingly at Leo.

"This is the guy who draws Kuns. The guy I showed you who does pictures of some of us." Nado explained, placing a comforting hand on Kuny's shoulder.

Logan and Finn rushed over to him, both looking like excited puppies.

Finn started speaking, so fast that Leo could only catch a few words. He made out phrases like, 'I absolutely love' and 'your work is amazing.'

"Finn, my boy, you're scaring him. Calm down, and act like the normal human being I know you're capable of being." Dumo said, walking over to shake Leo's hand. "I'm Pascal Dumais. It's nice to meet you Leo."

The team all introduced themselves, each who had seen his works complimenting him on them.

Eventually, Finn and Logan came back up to him, both in their normal street clothes now, and gave him both their phone numbers with the promise to create a group chat.

If they ended up filming a show your celebrity crush, then show your current partner video on TikTok a few months later, then only people who saw it need to know.

ATEEZ Members Accused Of Singing Offensive “Curry” Song — KQ Entertainment And MBC Respond

Fans have mixed reactions to the company’s response.

Recently, a video went viral of ATEEZ members singing a controversial song. Their company has since responded.

The song in question is the infamous “Curry.” The “Curry” song was released by the K-Pop duo Norazo over a decade ago and became a hit in South Korea. Still, “Curry” is undeniably controversial and problematic. The lyrics and choreography harmfully stereotype South Asian culture. Even the original MV depicted the duo wearing brownface.

Three years ago, SEVENTEEN‘s Wonwoo sang “Curry” in an episode of the group’s popular variety show Going Seventeen. At the time, Norazo’s Jo Bin issued a statement about the song since he witnessed criticism directed toward Wonwoo. He captioned his social media post, “The writing I wrote is not intended to encourage disputes. I wanted everyone to be comfortable. Sorry. You have no choice but to close the feedback window. The opinion window can be a place of controversy with each other! May everyone see us with understanding and love. We will definitely grow in a good direction!”

Norazo are not racist and do not insult religions! I’ve heard from people of Indian descent today that curry is not a part of real Indian food. The reason why I ended up working on the song without checking the facts was because I lived in Korea while knowing false information about the history of curry, so I was taught to think, ‘Curry is Indian food!’ As a result, I did not realize what the words I used to express India as a homeland actually meant and how sacred they were! This was surely my mistake!

All we wanted to do was let it be known that curry is a delicious food that anybody can enjoy through our Norazo style! I want to say that we didn’t write the song with the intent to put anyone down or cut down the culture or tradition of a precious country!

From now on, we’ll be sure to be singers who make and sing songs with proper information! We apologize to people of India and Southern Asia who were hurt by this! And lastly, just like us, our hoobae singers didn’t know it could be conveyed that way!

Despite this, “Curry” has continued to be sung and disappointed idols’ fandoms. In April this year, STAYC‘s Sieun and Sumin were criticized for singing the song.

Now, ATINYs are disappointed since two members of ATEEZ sang the offensive “Curry” song. ATEEZ is considered by K-Pop fans to be one of the few groups that are not problematic or have a history of partaking in offensive behavior and cultural appropriation.

A behind-the-scenes video from MBC R <IDOL RADIO> was released yesterday. In one moment, San is dancing and singing “Curry.” Fellow member Yunho can be heard offscreen singing along softly as he was the one to bring it up originally. According to ATINYs, he commented that “DJ San sounds like shanti,” which triggered San’s singing.

The clip went viral on TikTok with 111.9K views at the time of writing. ATINYs were shocked. Some commented that Yeosang even appeared to recognize that something was wrong.

So, ATINYs quickly took to social media, including Twitter and the b.stage app, to contact the members and their company, KQ Entertainment, about the problematic nature of the song. Some have pointed out that Seonghwa previously mentioned “Curry.”

Within 24 hours, KQ Entertainment responded to ATINYs’ concerns. The company shared a thread via Twitter, explaining that their artist(s) had “unknowingly hurt” ATINYs with their actions. So, KQ Entertainment apologized on their behalf and promised to educate.

The fandom has had mixed reactions to KQ Entertainment’s statement. Many fans would like the artists themselves to address the matter.

MBC Idol Radio Korea has also released a statement regarding the video. The company took responsibility for not editing it out originally.

We apologize for the inconvenience to viewers around the world regarding the scene. Although it was not our intention, we feel deeply responsible for not being able to catch it during the editing process. We will be aware of this issue so that it does not happen again in the future. We will continue to think about better content to repay your interest and support for Idol Radio.

5 Things I’ve learned about digital art in one year of doing it (plus my favorite pieces I’ve done at the end)

In no way am I saying these as rules, just things I’ve found have helped me improve. It was last august/september that I got my surface pro and decided to try krita, and here’s what I’ve learned from it! Again, not rules. Also, I’m not saying this as someone who thinks they’re super good at digital art- it’s a hobby that I have gotten better at but next year I’ll have even more things I’ve improved!

1.) OPACITY IS YOUR FRIEND. Learning the opacity setting for things like shadows is amazing. In some programs you can use opacity in individual layers and not just tools, which is even better if you don’t want that stripey layery look. 

2.) mess with the different brushes. Seems obvious but hear me out. I tend to use the same 5 tools, and that’s fine for sketches and lazy stuff but when I’m going for a more serious piece it’s good to try and figure out which brush will give you the effect you want. When I started, I thought, ‘there is no way I’ll ever use 2435 of these’. Since then, I’ve used most of them. 

3.) your neck, back, and wrists will hurt. Especially if you have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, but that’s more a me problem. Invest in ibuprofen (I prefer naproxen though), those microwaveable neck beanbag things, and wrist braces or compression gloves if you tend to work all day like I do some days. I personally work with my screen up and tilted instead of flat because it helps my neck more, but just find a position that’s comfortable for you even if others think it’s weird. I personally get weird looks for drawing semi-vertically, but you do whatever you have to do for your neck to keep working. Necks that operate are generally something worth preserving. 

4.) something I learned just yesterday or the day before, thanks to @householdpowerhouse - clipping masks are worth messing around with and figuring out. The more advanced settings still scare me, but I’ve already shaved HOURS of erasing edges off because of clipping masks. They’re a godsend. 

5.) there are no rules. Suggestions, sure. Guidelines, yeah. But no rules. You’ll see these tiktoks telling you how to draw stuff, and unless you want to emulate that art style, take it with a grain of salt. It’s AMAZING to study other people’s art- their preferred brushes and styles-but at the end of the day, following rules about digital art is going to possibly stifle you from finding your own style- something I’m still trying to do. I have four-ish different art styles I mess with because I don’t have mine yet, but those all developed through me experimenting and messing around rather than doing what someone on tiktok told me to do. 

Finally, tools are there to be used. It’s not cheating if it makes your life and your art easier. It’s kind of like other tools in life- I use a cane for my joints, for example. That’s not cheating, it’s a tool that’s there for me when I need it and it makes my life easier.

Not fully happy with this one (Suki from ATLA) but I was super proud when I finished it so it deserves a spot here. This was the piece where I realized I had talent. Maybe not as much as other people but THIS was the moment I realized this was somethign I really enjoyed and got a lot of happiness out of.

Touhou: Imperishable Night is my favorite game, while my most favorite character is a tie between Marisa Kirisame, Reimu Hakurei and Alice Margatroid. Fun Fact that famous Bad Apple video is what got me into Touhou in the first place.

Pretty Cure: I got into the entire franchise just last year and I'm currently watching the entire seasons from start to finish (By the time I'm typing this I'm in DokiDoki Precure). The OG and Max Heart have my heart while Cure Black and Cure Blossom are my favorites. I also love the All Star movies cause I'm a big sucker for crossovers.

Sailor Moon: I watched Crystal and the Eternal Movie on Netflix, and I'm currently reading the Manga! I would get into the 90s anime since I seen so many clips on Youtube (its so funny) but considering how many Precure episodes I have to watch, I can't. (Maybe someday!) I love Hotaru Tomoe. Can't say the same thing for Mamoru Chiba (especially during the first arc of the manga/crystal UGH-)

Revolutionary Girl Utena: The intro slaps and I'm also currently in the middle of watching the series. I know all about the dark themes and enjoy the symbolism even if I dont get it at first. (I could ramble about how the show is amazing tbh)

Ib: One of my favorite games of all time, please tell me people remember this game.

Mad Father: Same vein as Ib, again please tell me people remember this game.

Lolita Fashion: I have a few skirts and blouses (still need to get a petticoat lmao). I particularly like Gothic and Classic Lolita Fashion.

The Garden (OC World): My Toyhou.se is pretty bare bones about the world, and partially making this Tumblr is to talk about more about my OCs (in general). Either expect very long blocks of text or half-lazy art (thats what I see my art atleast).

Movies I Have Recently Watched in Order to Procrastinate

A while ago, I made a post describing which shows I can't finish watching because I am truly afraid of what they will do to my emotions. This time, I will be talking about the things I have started to watch on impulse in order to ignore the fact that I actually need to do work.

Wolf Children

This is a movie that I have been wanting to watch for ages. I have always seen clips of it on YouTube and TikTok, so it's always been on my To Be Watched list. The thing is that I have not been able to find where to watch the show for the longest time.

But, recently, the movie came out on Crunchyroll, which I have a subscription to. And as soon as I saw that I had the chance to watch it, I jumped at the opportunity and ignored everything else on my to-do list.

It was an amazing movie that told the story of a mother trying to raise her werewolf children after their dad dies. I enjoyed the story, though I do wish they focused a bit more on Yuki in the 2nd half.

Entergalactic

When I first saw that this movie came out on Netflix, I simply put it on my Watch Later list and didn't really think about it much. The reason I started watching it was because I saw this TikTok talking about how Kid Cudi was in so many projects and Entergalactic was one of those projects.

Now, I have no idea who Kid Cudi was when I saw the TikTok and I still don't really know who he is now. However, I can tell you that he was absolutely amazing in the Entergalactic movie.

I loved how the art style was very similar to the art style of Into the Spider-Verse. I also loved the fact the representation and the humor in the movie. The music from the movie is now also on my Moody Studying playlist because I loved the chill sound that it had.

When it first came out, this movie was pretty big in the anime community. I had wanted to watch it back then, but I didn't have Crunchyroll or any other streaming platform that I might have been able to watch it.

Years have passed since it came out and I just kind of forgot about it.

Well, this past week, I saw the movie on Crunchyroll and I asked some of my friends I was with to see if they'd seen it before and if it was worth watching. One of them told me it was worth the watch. But the thing was that it kind of reminded me of A Silent Voice and that movie absolutely wrecked me, so I was skeptical at first.

Today, though, I watched the movie and just ignored the work I had to do that was due today. I loved this movie and it did, in fact, completely hurt my heart. It was a beautiful movie and I would recommend it to anybody who has access to it.

These were some of the best movies I have ever watched and I will definitely come back to them later. If you ever get the chance to watch them, please do as they are completely worth watching.
