Cover art for my current WiP, a TTRPG we Kickstarted recently for the Zine Quest event. Backers should be getting their digital copies soon, and then I have a bunch of stretch goal material to work on.
I think after this is done our next project is going to be the full version of Fail Marines

I got to attempt to explain what Mandala is with @1cdaigle and @JPRindfleisch. If you've seen my weird trailers or read any of the episodes and wondered, "Where did this come from?" now's your chance to dig into what insanity brought this story out of my dreams and into reality.

i absolutely adore those 4chan screenshots about writing books the way they summarize things is so fascinating to me like the gregory berrycone absurdist novella about a man who wakes up with a plastic knob on the back of his head or the burgerpunk novel about a fast food worker who goes insane and tries to kill the president or the one where the guy is sad his work got rejected then posted the summary of it which was abt a boy who got turned into a concrete block. these descriptions always stick in my head makes me want to write something crazy

Are you familiar with the "burgerpunk" aesthetic/scenario, and if so, what are your thoughts on it?
Never even heard of it, I'm afraid. And google is just turning up a bunch of pictures of McDonalds off freeways.
What's it?

Just got to witness my first public mask argument. Some middle-aged women standing in line at McDonald's who weren't wearing them impatiently told an Uber driver to 'pay attention' after his number got called a few times. He told them to pay attention to the mask requirements. They said they masks weren't going to make a difference and he should mind his own business, he called them 'stupid old cunts' as he was walking out.
I also got to participate in my first public mask argument since they turned to me after he left and said, "Can you believe some people?", to which I responded by telling them that if they were less selfish it wouldn't have happened. They didn't say anything to me directly, but stood there muttering shit to each other until I got my order and left.

Gotta say it is pretty surreal (in a good way!) to see total strangers streaming themselves playing a game I wrote, without me even having had to engineer that scenario.
Like, they decided to play it?
On their own??
Because they thought it seemed cool????
(also one of the characters they came up with was named Korn Phaeron, which honestly made me snort my iced coffee. I was not expecting that)

applying for a BJs job online and these questions make me feel like I’m at the fucking nuremberg trials, but the one that tops them all is “when you look at the world around you, do you find that you have hope for mankind?”
