It had been 3 years since Husk had sat down and sketched out his idea for the Afterlife Casino. 3 years of work and managing and dealing with the ever-present warfare of pentagram city but finally all that work had come to fruition. Finally, Husk's magnum opus would be opened and revealed for all the world to see.

His plan was to throw quite a little get together, drawing in Hell's overlords and the most famous traditional sinners the ring had to offer. He had managed to get some imps to extend invitations to a number of the sins themselves as well but those bigger names had all declined, not that he expected them to show themselves. It was about the principal of it, and a number of them had sent in their apologies for being unable attend so Husk wasn't too upset about it. Mammon had offered to attend but only in the event that Husk signed over 50 percent of the casino's profits and he had thanked Mammon for the offer but had turned it down.

The get together in question was to be one of the best parties Pride had ever seen, and not just that, but a masquerade. Husk had even gotten into contact with some of the best glamour crafters in envy and directed the various attendees to commission them if they wanted a truly disguising costume.

Husk's disguise had been one he had worked very directly with the designer to create. Rather than the winged cat he was naturally, a form he did not mind all that much but certainly wasn't his favorite, he would take on a far more fox-like appearance along with losing the wings. He had kept the black and red coloring but introduced some gold into the clothing. His outfit was to be a black and gold ornate eye mask with a matching vest layered over a cream shirt and matched with a pair of black slacks.

He had very specific plans for the party that evening. The on stage where the various performances would be held normally he had hired a number of live musicians to perform intending to cover a number of musical genres over the course of the night. What would normally be the main gambling hall had been left absent of the usual tables and roulette wheels, instead he had left it empty to act as a dance floor for the evening. The dances were to change over the the course of the night, matching the changes in music and the goal was to provide music and dance from times of the the lives of the various attending overlords. Along the sides of the dance floor was to be playing tables for various games, creating space for guests to gamble to their hearts content and as a favor to those attending Husk had included in his invitation an announcement that all attending would receive 5 thousand dollars in chips to start with, and they could buy or play for more once there.

Husk himself would play little part in the actual running of the event, however. He had left the operations of the event in good hands and had every intent to enjoy himself as a simple guest.

The night was going to be a night to remember, he was sure of it.

Thinking furilumi thoughts rn

What if Lumine invited Furina to join her on her adventures. Of course she should let her have all the rest she wants first but Furina is what? Early 20s newly mortal and got her whole life ahead of her now, having been trapped as the archon for 500 years I bet she's never really been to another nation. I'd be awesome for Lumine take her outside Fontaine and experience everything teyvat has to offer. And I think it would be good for her mental health to not be stuck in Fontaine all her life.

Lumine showing Furina all her favourite places, introducing her friends and teaching Furina all the recipes she's learned over her travels. Lumine slowly realising that she really likes Furinas company and this is the first time she's had a long term adventuring companion (that's not paimon) and that whoops she may be a little in love with her actually.

Furina for the first time in her life being genuinely 100% happy and not feeling like anyone has any expectations of her or that she has to put up a facade and she can just enjoy herself. She learns more about herself and the places around her, I think it would take her longer than Lumine to develop feelings or realise she's feeling them in the first place.

Also think I'd be rly funny if she just sends Neuvillette bottles of random water from places she's been.

whenever i read a fic and shanks doesn't mention buggy even once it always feels soo ooc bc like what do you mean shanks isn't vibrating with the need to see buggy at all times??? at the very least, shanks should be thinking about buggy passively, if not actively. like buggy lives that man's mind rent fucking free. buggy should be charging appearance fees for how often shanks thinks of him. like all it would take is one (1) denden call, where buggy shaky voiced goes "shanks... please... i need you" and shanks would be hauling ass across the grand line to get to buggy

F!Leo and Present Leo interactions melt my heart like they’re such healing inner child moments

It hurts so much just look

But like these young Leos have such complicated opinions on their older selves. Their relationships are so fragile and so difficult to comprehend, like it’s them. These teenagers are literally looking at a possible future version of themselves, who had to witness the fall of all their loved ones and the destruction of what they used to call home—everything that they know. They’re face to face with a version of themselves that had to go through a war that they believe was their fault because of their mistakes. Future Leos are the literal embodiment of “what if” for Present Leos.

And seeing the different ways F!Leo authors portray that relationship is so interesting. Like the common theme is resentment in the F!Leos seeing their younger selves but also guilt because that’s literally just a kid.

F!Leos are face to face with a reflection of themselves at that age and have the chance to guide P!Leo in the direction opposite of theirs. They can’t help but see the one who “started it all” but at the same time it’s not them. F!Leos have a twenty-or-so year age gap between P!Leo but they didn’t have the chance to grow as they were too focused on an alien apocalyptic war that decimated everything everywhere. They can’t necessarily help the guilt and resentment they feel while looking at the kid version of themselves that is still a kid that doesn’t quite know better than they do, but achieved what they couldn’t.

Hopefully this makes sense and thanks for listening to my Tedtalk. I’m just really in a F!Leo fic mood and I’m hurting from thinking about it so much these past few hours

Anyways… who’s the most peepaw of the bunch?

I’m thinking an F!Leo who be so dad he’s standing behind the couch watching TV with the kids but doesn’t sit. So dad the kids have all accidentally called F!Leo “Dad” at least once. This F!Leo is so dad he’s passed out on the couch after a hard day’s work claiming to have been awake since 5 AM but knocked out at 2 PM. He’s so Dad he’s sitting on the kids pretending they’re not there just to hear them laugh or smack his shell. So Dad he’s playing catch on the front lawn.
