Watching (the first) Ice Age for the first time in a good 5 to 8 years and I forgot just how much of a good movie it is We got: • Accidental baby acquisition • The fact that this lady, exhausted from running from a tiger and jumping off a waterfall, just sees this mammoth and decides, yes this is a safe thing to leave my child with • Reluctant allies • The dodo/melon scene • The "send me on my way" scene(s) • The entire "short cut" scene • ... the evolution of sloths • ... the baby, when seeing the spaceship in the ice, making the "live long and prosper" hand gesture • ...Ice slides • ... finding out what happened to Manny's family through cave paintings • Lava scene • "Villain" redemption through "crap now I care" • Sid on skis • Heroic self sacrifice • Found (herd) family

So I consider this one the best #But the others are enjoyable #Though I havent actually seen the last one yet #This movie is probably the reason I like bromance and found family souch #*so much #Ice age #Tropes
