I think you encountered that strange fellow Iarwain or something, not Aiwendil. Aiwendil is a lot more mischievous, and Iarwain is more on the unhinged side. Goldberry… I’ve heard of her. Let’s just say there was some history involved, not pleasant.

I didn’t know Iarwain was still alive. Last I met him he said he intended to take a long nap on the side of a hilltop and become some sort of rock. Never thought he’d still be kicking around here. I don’t know what he is, but he’s definitely not an ainu.
