We're often asked about the green meeple that appears in our product photos & videos. So we created this video to explain it.

The Justice League has been caught in a game between two supernatural entities.
What was most certainly a game, where they were merely pieces on a board to move as each entity saw fit.
One side, was a teddy bear, looking far too small for its seat.
The other, was the ghost king.
The teddy bear was very carefree, sometimes waving down at them, other times resting his head on one of the chair's arms, and others just flat out laying down.
The ghost king, on the other hand, was taking this extremely seriously. After every move made by the bear, he sits in a contemplative position as his eyes roam over the board, taking note of the positions of his pieces and the bear's as well. Sitting there in silence for a good while (which is when the bear does such things like waving down at them) before making his move.
This is certainly a time to be apart of the Justice League, isn't it?
At the very least, it isn't a death game, as whenever they're taken 'out' they just get teleported off to the sidelines.

Ok but God having a lightbulb for head making it easy to break whenever someone's had enough of "his" bullshit but the back of his throne being full of new fresh lightbulbs, leaving it to the people/creatures, even the ones that broke him in the first place, to replace it if they find the mercy and humility in their hearts to do so has to be one of the hardest and most creative metaphors for hope Ive seen in a Groening show

if you're terrified for your country's elections next year because a lot of people seem to think the solution to the government handling an international conflict in an abysmal and deplorable way is to let a group of total monsters who would handle it MUCH worse AND also potentially doom huge swaths of oppressed people at home as well as our entire literal planet get into power, by ignoring the way our deeply flawed but also deeply entrenched system realistically works
clap your hands...?
(I cannot understand trying to stop heinous and unnecessary killing- which disgusts and saddens me, too! how could it not?! -by handing the election to people who want to do even more of that exact thing. the math isn't mathing, as they say)

[Image description: Digital KHDR fanart depicting the upperclassmen as chess pieces. At the very bottom of the image are four chess pieces representing Hoder, Heimdall, Sigrun, and Helgi. They are upside down and silhouetted in black against a white background. Above them are two rows of black and white squares forming a chess board pattern. Above that are three pedestals holding up Vali, Vidar, and Vala's chess pieces, with Vidar's piece resting on the tallest pedestal in the middle. Both the chess pieces and the pedestals are silhouetted in white against a black background. Above them is a white heart with Baldr's hand silhouetted in black inside of it. He holds the iconic Kingdom Hearts crown in-between his index finger and thumb, posed to place it on Vidar's chess piece. End image description.]

New Board Game Pieces - Chests
Recently we promoted some of the Gaming Terrain game pieces we make and sell on our site. Afterwards, we heard feedback that suggested we should carry the chests in multiple colors. Our team agreed, and we're excited to announce that we now offer treasure Chests in 5 different colors. (Red, Grey, Green, Bronze, and Blue.)
Note: these are the same 5 colors that we use for the Hinged Stone Doors we sell. These game pieces are made of plastic and 3D printed in the USA at The Game Crafter. 17mm meeple included for scale.

Arranging the chess board really does feel like setting up two battle camps. When you think about it, it is quite amazing that this classic board game will always find a way to people's tables, despite the overabundance of new board games. It will definitely always find its way to our table, at least, that's for sure.

Vecna’s plan requiring Mike to leave for California means nothing. The number 1 following Mike cryptically at the airport means nothing. Them barely giving us Mike’s perspective the last two seasons (despite him being the original protagonist) means nothing and it isn’t setting up his POV to be revealed in s5 bc the entire audience is completely comfortable with where Mike stands as a character in regards to his deeper feelings/motives. No confusion there so no need to address that. Mike saying How will I survive a whole week without you guys at the start of s4 wasn't foreshadowing his fate at the end of said week. Mike standing in front of exit signs 3+ times in s4 is probably just a coincidence. Mike being associated with gaping mouths in multiple moments spanning the entire series, even going back to his very first line on the show, means nothing at all. Nancy’s vision about her family (Mike) dying was mentioned at the end of s4, but it didn’t happen so probably won’t ever happen, even though there’s still another season left set directly after the events of s4. Will calling Mike the heart and how without heart they’d all fall apart, was not in any shape form foreshadowing something happening to Mike and them all falling apart, bc Mike is definitely just a prop and everything in relation to his story only holds meaning on the surface or for other characters arcs and couldn’t possibly be hinting at something deeper that’s being saved as one of the many surprises for the last season.

art advice from a friend @:)
(old art uhh)
Random silly Lilly facts below:
• even though tigers typically feed off meat, Lilly is more keen on fruits. Her favorites are tangerines and watermelons, they even look almost the same as her. And as any child she loves sweet treats, occasionally makes them herself with Poppy.
• brings and keeps lots of her little bug friends home (not as pets, but for real roomies!), despite her siblings telling her to better not to . she's just returning a favour!
• her besties are Barnaby, Poppet (oc by @/cupophrogs) and Julie, after her siblings of course. Gets along with first two due to being a silly jester & prankster like them, and with Julie? They're just both pure chaos!
• knows a lot about bugs and animals in general, learned it from from all the encyclopedia-type books Lilly loves to read. It's actually one of the ways to get her to be still and calm, despite Lilly being super energetic & hyper. You have a fun book about animals or will tell her something new about them?? She's all ears!
• coming from the previous fact, it's the way she gets along with Frank. Sometimes they read books about bugs together and it's probably the calmest neighbors have ever seen her, but peace doesn't last long and later she pulls some prank on Frank, which they're probably used to already-
• so yeah, Lilly would definitely listen to you ramble or infodump about something, but expect that she'll tell you a lot if not more in return! Lilly is a total little chatterbox! To the point that she talks even in her sleep-
• will most definitely ask if you got any grapes when you're clearly selling lemonade-
• her musical instrument of choice is kazoo..
•Lilly does not know what a "dad" is
• loves to show off new tricks she made up or learned with Poppet, same with jokes & puns from Barnaby.
• honk
• definitely would just randomly come up to you to tell the most gut wrenching, bizarre and unhinged bug/animal fact known to a man.
Also now it's canon that she makes squeaky toy noises when she falls, prolly honks when sneezes/snores too lol(if her clown nose is on). Despite belonging to the cat kind, she can't meow or purr (tigers are built different smhhh)
