30 ứng dụng camera thu thập dữ liệu người dùng

Cyber News cảnh báo về 30 ứng dụng camera được cho là thu thập dữ liệu người dùng Android, trong đó có 16 ứng dụng nguồn gốc Trung Quốc.

Kể từ tháng 12/2019, 30 ứng dụng camera này đã thu hút 1,3 tỷ lượt tải trên Google Play Store. Ảnh: Gizchina.

Những ứng dụng này đã kích hoạt trái phép camera, ghi âm, định vị GPS… mà không thông báo cho người dùng. Ngoài ra, một số còn chứa mã độc cho phép hiển thị quảng cáo, truy cập phân vùng hệ thống, tải và cài đặt ứng dụng độc hại bên ngoài Google Play Store.

Danh sách 30 ứng dụng camera chứa mã độc

Trong danh sách, ứng dụng “BeautyPlus – Easy Photo Editor & Selfie Camera” của nhà phát triển Meit Limited, đứng đầu bảng xếp hạng phần mềm chỉnh sửa ảnh trên Google Play Store với hơn 300 triệu lượt tải từ tháng 12/2019. Bằng phương pháp chuyển hướng trang web, ứng dụng đã lừa nhiều người gửi ảnh về máy chủ tại Trung Quốc để bán cho các đối tác quảng cáo kiếm lời.

Công ty bảo mật Trend Micro cho biết, ứng dụng “Beauty Makeup, Selfie Camera Effect, Photo Editor” của nhà phát triển Lyrebird Studio sử dụng hình ảnh khiêu dâm để dụ người dùng truy cập các trang web lừa đảo, cài mã độc thu thập dữ liệu.

Ứng dụng phổ biến nhất trong danh sách là “B612 – Beauty & Filter Camera” thu hút 500 triệu lượt tải từ tháng 12/2019.

Trong các nhà phát triển bị cáo buộc vi phạm quyền riêng tư, Coocent, KX Camera Team và Dreams Room Team có thể thuộc cùng một nhóm có trụ sở tại Trung Quốc. Nghiêm trọng hơn, cả ba đều liên quan đến mã độc phát hiện trước đây”, các chuyên gia của Cyber News cho biết.

هذه التطبيقات إن وجدت على هاتفك فهي تسرق بياناتك!

اكتشف فريق البحث في موقع CyberNews وجود نحو 30 تطبيق في متجر(جوجل بلاي) Google Play تسرق بيانات المستخدمين، وتصيب الهواتف بالبرمجيات الخبيثة، وقد وصل عدد مرات تنزيل هذ التطبيقات إلى 1.4 مليار عملية تنزيل.

لقد ركز فريق البحث على تطبيقات الكاميرا وخاصة التي تنتمي لفئة (كاميرا الجمال) Beauty Camera، وهي التطبيقات التي تُستخدم لإضافة فلاتر للماكياج أو الكرتون على الوجه للحصول على صور شخصية مرحة، أو لتحرير وتحسين بعض الصور الأقل جودة.

ولكن ما لا تتوقعه أن العديد من هذه التطبيقات تقوم بجمع بياناتك الخاصة وبيعها لجهات خارجية، أو تصيبك بإعلانات خبيثة بدون توقف، أو تعيد توجيهك إلى مواقع التصيد، أو حتى تتجسس عليك بدون علمك.

قام فريق البحث بتحليل نتائج أفضل تطبيقات (كاميرا الجمال) التي تظهر في نتائج بحث في متجر جوجل بلاي؛ وقد وجدوا أن التطبيق الأول (BeautyPlus) – الذي وصل عدد مرات تثبيته 300 مليون تثبيت – يعتبر تطبيق ضار، حي�� يضم أكواد جمع بيانات وعند التنزيل يطلب التطبيق مجموعة من الأذونات غير الضرورية مثل: الوصول إلى موقعك، ورقم هاتفك، بالإضافة إلى التحقق من كسر حماية الهاتف، وما هي شركة الاتصالات التابع لها رقم هاتفك.

وقد أشارت تقارير إلى أن الجهة المطورة لتطبيق Meitu يشتبه في قيامها بجمع بيانات المستخدم على خوادمها الصينية، ثم بيعها.

من أجل إجراء هذا البحث؛ قام الفريق بتحليل أفضل 30 نتيجة تم عرضها على متجر جوجل بعد البحث بكلمة “camera beauty”، وقد شملت التطبيقات التي تم تحليل أدائها ما يلي:

تطبيقات كاميرا الجمال التي تطلب أذونات لا تحتاج إليها.

تطبيقات من مطورين غير معروفين، خاصة التطبيقات المجانية.

التطبيقات التي تشارك في سلوك غير أخلاقي أو تعرض إعلانات مزعجة.

وللتحق من مصداقية هذه التطبيقات قام الفريق بتحليل ما يلي:

لا يطلب أي من هذه التطبيقات إذنًا باستخدام الكاميرا، حيث يقوم بتشغيل الكاميرا دون أي إذن.
