Just realised I never posted ab my stupid mary sue of a DC OC so here it is.

Macabre, a shapeshifter. Unapologetically Halloween themed. It/they or she/he depending on the form. It can transform into anyone but does so by eye, so hidden personal details such as birthmarks and scars cannot be consistently replicated.

This is its horseman form. The cape is largely fleshy/liquid-ish and has tendrils sprouting out of it.

So Dr. Honey Pine is a researcher in the field of memory and hallucinogenics. They are from a very similar background to Bruce - born rich, lost their entire family, and was raised by a family friend who assists them to this day. Pine is insistent in bringing back what was lost, in whatever way possible.

The forefront of their work is technologically advanced glasses that can augment the subjects reality to view simulations of loved ones as of they were in the room. This is the concept they try to pitch to Bruce Wayne. Bruce isn't interested, finding the concept grotesque and inauthentic. Pine doesn't understand where he's coming from, seeing it as him not caring about his lost parents. While the wards butt heads, Alfred bonds with Honey's caretaker, Virginia, who went through similar growing pains in suddenly raising a child and losing a family.

Under the table, Pine works on hallucinogenic drugs and gases that seem to immerse the user into their own memories. They use it to gain favors from other gotham rogues and goons, for them to heist restricted chemicals in Pine's place.

I have a good bit of story with them, like a few hypothetical episodes. Honey and Virginia are pretty obviously supposed to parallel Bruce and Alfred. Anyway, thanks for asking!! Lmk if your interested in hearing about my episodes :)

Late Night Visit

The cold wind outside made the abandoned theater creak. Every floorboard, door and walls sang in a cacophony of sounds, the melody of a haunted house.

Ophelia watched her image in the mirror, the cracks making her reflexion distorted while she applied lipstick.

Even though it was late, she was getting ready to leave her lair. The streets outside were silent, but Gotham never slept. She knew it was opportunity to make some trouble.

The breeze from the window was not the cause of the shiver that ran through her body, not even the shadows around her.

Actually, the reason was the light footsteps behind her, almost like a ghost. Ophelia doesn’t dare to look behind her, she keep her eyes lock to the mirror. She knew how much he liked to feel like a monster from a horror story.

A silhouette approaches, his reflection forming slowly. First the hat, then the shiny eyes, next the crooked smiles, until he stood fully formed behind her in his full glory.

Ophelia turned to look at him, a sweet smile across her dark lips.

“Hello, Jonathan,” she greets him softly. “Welcome back.”
