OK HUNTRIC SCENARIO THAT SPAWNED IN MY BRAIN-

(Takes place after Luz and Amity reunite in The Owl House at the end of Watching and Dreaming)

We return to The Owl House, Luz and Amity reunite and share a kiss, Hunter looks upon them with hopeful thoughts. Hunter then wonders where Edric went when The Collector dropped them off. It only took him a few seconds to realize Edric’s laying atop the roof, lost in thought.

Hunter: EDRIC!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP THERE?? THE OWL HOUSE WENT THROUGH A LOT OF DAMAGE YOU COULD GET HURT!!!

Edric sits up, with a mischievous smiles and says jokingly-

Edric: aww are you worried about meee~

Hunter: YES!!

Edric let’s out a soft laugh and lifts Hunter up with an ice beam that becomes a slide, Hunter glides down into Edric’s arms. Hunters quite flustered, Edric tries to look cool but he’s clearly struggling to keep ahold of him.

Hunter: heh you can put me down now if you want…

They both drop-

Edric: GAH! Aw man- >:(

Hunter: heheh💞

Edric: I need to start working out more, if I’m gonna be mixing potions and wrangling beasts I gotta build some muscle…

Hunter: You know I could teach you some of my old work out routines! And maybe afterwards, uh w-we could get some empanadas, they’re really good, they have them at a food truck near Camilas Vet! There’s also a nice park near there where we could hang out too-

Edric: … is this your way of asking me out?😏

Hunter: WHAT-UH-um-I-eh-ermm

… y-yes?

Edric: hm~ :)

Edric leans in and kisses Hunter on the cheek, Hunter is completely red

Edric: That sounds amazing, I’ll be looking forward-

Hunter starts to lean in

Edric: to … it-

They kiss, Hunters hand rests on the side of Edric’s face, Edric pulls Hunter closer with one hand and holds Hunters hand with the other, after their kiss, the wind blows through their hair and they enjoy this moment of peace as they admire the beautiful view of the sun setting in the boiling sea❤️

so homophobic you actually have to study for university tbh :/ why is it so stressful no matter what you do?? i study, i’m stressed. i don’t study, i’m stressed. homophobic!! wait, that’s so smart actually!! i’m gonna start doing that as well, i know i’m not gonna get up after 5 mins just like you! hmm yeah you’re right i guess, it’s just that writing down a whole semester worth of notes takes ages haha and i feel like i could study more efficiently you know? yeah…i know that failure in itself is not a bad thing, it’s just another opportunity to learn…but if i fail my exams two or three times (depends) they’ll kick me out of uni and i’ll not be allowed to continue studying what i do anywhere in my country :/ so eventually it will be the end of the world, for me right now at least :// i love those videos as well!!!! i wish my fridge would look like that :(( see, that’s why we need to team up! i start going through some stuff and you can absolutely lose focus haha :) and anyway, cleaning up is allowed to take up some time and doesn’t need to happen in one sitting, so actually please lose focus and rediscover some things that have memories attached to them!!! oh i know it’s difficult to let them go, but i’ll hold your hand and we’ll pay our last respects to the cupcake cases and the broken hand mixer, you’ll be alright!

oh no, i mean smart, but no haha :)) and i really hope every time you joke about that she tells you it’s not true haha :) (you should totally rewatch it!!!) I LOVED THE BOOKS AND THE FILMS!! aaahhh that sounds like so much fun! very cool christmas present as well! i remember i read all the books within like 3 or 4 days when i was 12 or 13 i think haha :) same here, but i’m planning to! maybe we can watch that one together as well? ;)

Hahaha for real, so homophobic. If they were truly allies they would just give you the grades you want🙄. Hehehe it’s so handy. I don’t even remember where I got it from, it might’ve been from this very hell site? Or tiktok. Hmm true, do you think making notes on like a laptop or your phone or something would work for you? And then explaining it out loud from there? Or is it the actual physical writing stuff down that helps keep it in your brain better? Hm what studying methods have you tried? Obviously it’s a bit close to exams now to be trying new things, but maybe before your next series of exams you could experiment a bit with things that also work that might be less time consuming? But if not, then keep doing what you’re doing, it’s about what works best for you😌🫶🏼. Well if you happen to fail this one, you have already gained an ally in that teacher you talked to before, so you can talk to her again and ask her for advice long before your next exam. And she can guide you and make sure you’re on track to pass next time. But who knows? You could pass this time! Believe in yourself sweetheart, you know more than you think you do❤️. I’ve given up hoping for my fridge or any cupboard in my house looking as organised as anything in those videos… and honestly I think I’m okay with it. I’d be too scared to touch anything if my house was that organised all the time! It would feel more like a show room than a home I think. I like a bit of clutter. Like being able to look at a room and be like ‘this is home, this is lived in and loved dearly’ is comforting I guess?🤷. Hehe we’ll make a good team, we can organise and I’ll get distracted and try and distract you too, but then you can get me back on task🤣. I… guess maybe if you held my hand I could possibly dare part with the cupcake cases and broken hand mixer… but only if you’re holding my hand😉

Hehe she does dw, she loves me sometimes🤣. OKAY I LOVE THE FILMS AND IVE READ ALL OF THE FIRST BOOK (I finished reading it all on Christmas Day🤭) AND IM LIKE A QUARTER IF THE WAY INTO CATCHING FIRE AND I LOVE IT ALREADY. I feel like it touches on the actual world a lot more than the films. Like the descriptions of district 11 when they go to visit on their tour thingy paint a really vivid picture of life there? And in the film it didn’t do that as much? Like obviously it shows how over policed it is and stuff but the descriptions of the buildings and things? And the size of it? Not shown as much in the film. Anyway! Basically, I really love the books so far🤭. Okay wow, that’s impressive, all the books in 3 or 4 days??? Woah. I’m like actually really jealous🤣Christmas Day was the first time I’ve ever been so engrossed in a book that I’ve sat and read it in it’s entirety immediately. I tend to struggle to finish even one chapter of a book in one sitting🤷. Hehe brilliant idea, very excited for our nap/how to train your dragon/hunger games date🫶🏼
