Therapist: So, tell me about your dream. You seem really shaken by it. Alfred: Well... first, there's a vampire who comes out and talks about "siezing the night". Then, these BDSM dancers pop out from under my bed? Then this hot blonde vampire (the son of the first one) brings out the girl I'm interested in, and at this point I'm like, crawling on the rafters trying to get a good look at her. Krolock isn't going to let that happen though, and he grabs her from me again while we're dancing, and I guess things get pretty tangled because sometimes I end up in his arms instead of holding Sarah. Then he even like, thrusts into me on the floor at one point, and Sarah has to watch while he bites me and I become a vampire? Also he exudes masculine energy as he steps over me. At that point I'm dying, and the hot blonde girl that Sarah's dad slept with starts singing a duet with the other hot blonde about feeling the night and living forever or something. Sarah is being really sweet now that I'm a vampire too; I have my head in her lap and she's smiling, and Krolock ISN'T there and it's perfect. Then she hugs me a little too tight and I guess I get excited, because after that I just keep thinking "wow her neck looks good and I'm completely in love with this woman," and the next thing I know Krolock is on my bed again and I kind of lift Sarah up to give to him. So he bites her on the bed (completely shirtless and completely chiseled btw, I forgot to mention that), then drops her to the floor where I bite the other side of her neck and it's super hot. I can feel my body pressed up against her and stuff. Then Krolock and I drag her body forward and we're in perfect unison, and the BDSM dancers from earlier drag Sarah away in a Jesus pose and put her back into my bed. At which point, I wake up. Alfred: So what does it mean, doctor?

Xena and Gabrielle Relationship Timeline (official)

Xena fell for Gabrielle pretty early in Season 1 but didn't act on it because she was dealing with her whole "Woe is me, I'm bad and evil and Gabrielle is pure and good" drama.

Gabrielle, meanwhile, was suffering some serious comphet and it wasn't until Girls Just Wanna Have Fun when she realised GIRLS ARE HOT and that she didn't just want to be Xena, she wanted to be WITH Xena.

That end scene in GJWHF is basically Gabrielle propositioning Xena and in my head canon, they become FWB after this because a) Gabrielle is a baby gay and b) Xena is scared of commitment.

Gabrielle then got guilted into marrying Perdicus because he threatened to kill himself (classy dude that one), but also because of gay panic and the fact that Xena wouldn't agree to make their relationship more serious.

If Ulysses is actually a real episode and not a fever dream, it definitely happened after ROC but before The Quest, where X and G are still in their weird FWB but not willing to admit they are actually girlfriends stage. I have no idea what Xena would ever see in such a boring dude but whatever. Something something hurt feelings about Perdy and maybe some more internalised "I'm getting too close to Gabrielle and I will hurt her, better to hurt her now by latching on to this boring man" thinking.

Then The Quest happens and they admit they love each other (gay) and then they're officially girlfriends and they get married after A Family Affair and honeymoon in India.

Roy’s eyebrow raises at the highly American phrase and shakes his head amusedly.

“I hate what he’s done to us,” Roy says.

Trent laughs.

“No, you don’t.”

Roy pumps his eyebrows in agreement but rolls his eyes nonetheless before taking another long sip from his pilsner bottle.

“So,” Roy says, in a no-nonsense tone that has Trent’s immediate attention. “You want me to hurt you? That it?”

Trent’s smile now turns wicked.

“Only a little.”

Roy, looks Trent up and down once more.
