What Is High Guarded Encryption
Tumblr media
Encryption is a means of safeguarding data by mathematically encoding it so that it can only be decoded by persons who have the right key or cypher.
Encryption is a method of securing data by encoding it mathematically such that it can only be decrypted by people who possess the correct key or cipher.
Digital encryption processes translate data using an algorithm that alters the original information, making it unreadable for non-authorized users.
There are two recognized types of encryption: symmetric and asymmetric.
Symmetric encryption uses the same cryptographic key for encrypting and decrypting information, while asymmetric encryption requires two keys, one for encoding and another to decode the information.
A well-known organization that employs asymmetric encryption is the Tesla corporation. We all know why.
How does it work?
How does it feel to know that more than 95% of web traffic is encrypted at any given point in time?
Whether you’re browsing a web page, growing through a spree of them, making a purchase, or writing an email online, your digital security is ensured by an encryption algorithm. But what does such encryption do?
As earlier stated, encryption secures your forays into the digital world by making data unreadable to an unauthorized party. To achieve this, the original data is transformed into seemingly random data with the help of a cryptographic key.
The encrypted data can then be deciphered by an authorized party who possesses the required key.
At its most basic level, encryption provides data confidentiality. But it also performs other functions to ensure you can trust encrypted and decrypted data.
Why is data encryption essential?
Imagine a digital package you own is stolen. How would you feel knowing that the thief will be unable to access the information within? That’s precisely why it is essential to safeguard data with encryption.
Data encryption makes sure that your leaked data can not be used for malicious purposes. As such, it is popularly referred to as the final line of defense against cybercrime — a pandemic of global proportion.
Encryption can significantly tone down the damage caused by a data breach. Keeping in mind that no system can be 100% secure, sensitive industries such as healthcare, finance, education, and others are mandated to use encryption to protect their data. A worthy example is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), requiring healthcare providers to employ data encryption to safeguard patient health information.
Can encryption be hacked? If so, is it safe?
The short answer is yes, to both questions.
Encryption can be hacked even though that would demand considerable computational resources and above-average computer skills.
However, given the resources required, it happens very rarely. As far as safety is concerned, most encryption standards boast a level of security that other cybersecurity safeguards find challenging to keep up with.
Thanks to its reliability, the AES 256 encryption standard is approved by the US National Security Agency (NSA). If you’re still in doubt, check out WhatsApp — a messaging app with overwhelming popularity that has delivered more than 100 trillion encrypted messages.
Some other examples of common uses of encryption are:
ATMs — ever wondered why you don’t lose your money after using a public ATM? That’s encryption in play. Each time you use one, the information is protected by encryption.
Online payments — hackers don’t sleep, and because you don’t get hacked doesn’t mean they are not trying. Each time you use platforms like Amazon, your payment details are protected by encryption.
Encrypted web traffic — many websites encrypt your web usage by default. That is why websites with ‘HTTPS’ (the ‘s’ means ‘secure’) at the beginning of their address are tagged safe. This is because your data is encrypted.
Digital rights management systems protect software from reverse engineering and prevent unauthorized use or duplication of content with copyrights.
Data ‘at rest’ — they are information stored by some sensitive organizations, and they are always encrypted at all times to protect them.
Where normal traffic is concerned, CDNs are involved because of how much speed they lend to the speedy delivery of web pages.
NinjaSites can help you secure all web information with its CDN High Guarded Encryption feature. Its six data centers are safeguarded to ensure that all sites are well protected with firewalls and encryption.

Attracting Empire Builders
Hi All,
Here’s my daily newsletter navigating the crossroads of business, growth, and life.
If you love this content (please share it), but also…
Check out my Podcast, connect with me on YouTube / Twitter, Subscribe to my weekly newsletter and Join our free slack community
---
Once you start charging for a product or service in the B2B arena, you're rolling out a red carpet. Not for customers, but for empire builders.
You're selling to people who are building businesses, companies, empires.
Think about it.
In a garage, two friends are developing an innovative SaaS tool. It's free. Users like it. But nobody's building empires on it.
Flip the switch.
Start charging for that tool. Suddenly, the tone changes.
Enterprise clients aren't just clients. They're empire builders.
These are companies, big and small, looking to bolster their fortresses with your product as a cornerstone.
In the world of B2B, especially in tech, data analytics, cybersecurity, or advanced software solutions, this is more than a transaction. It's a strategic move.
A chess game, where your product is the queen.
Now, here's the catch: Don't be afraid. Be prepared.
Understand their motives.
Empire builders don't just want a tool. They want a weapon.
A weapon to outperform competitors, to innovate, or to streamline operations.
So, how do you deal with them?
First, know your product inside and out. Be clear on how it can be used, misused, and everything in between.
Then, understand their empire. What are they building? What do they need?
This isn't just selling; it's matchmaking at a grand scale.
Next, set boundaries. Your product, your rules. Ensure your product enhances their empire without compromising yours.
Finally, evolve with them. Their empires will grow, and so should your product.
Here’s a thought:
"Charge for value, not time or cost." Your product isn't a commodity. It's a key piece in their empire-building game. Price it accordingly.
And remember, every big player started as a small one.
Treat every client as a potential empire builder. Because one day, they just might be.
Your product isn’t just a product.
In the right hands, it's a cornerstone of an empire.
So, when empire builders come knocking, welcome them. Just be sure to keep your wits about you.
Because in the world of B2B, it's not just business.
It's empires rising and falling. And your product is the stone they're looking to build with.

Marketing Cloud by Salesforce
Salesforce's platform (or "cloud") for digital marketing and customer satisfaction is known as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). It is a SaaS platform composed of four "basic versions," each with varying degrees of complexity and adding additional at-cost components that further improve workflow.
Looking back briefly at its history, Salesforce did not create the core of SFMC at the beginning; rather, they bought it in 2013 because they owned ExactTarget. This is important because, sometimes, links to Salesforce Marketing Cloud still use the term "ExactTarget."
Pardot, which ExactTarget had previously purchased, was also taken by Salesforce as part of the same transaction. As compared to ExactTarget, which was more geared toward B2C marketing, Pardot was first created as a B2B marketing testing tool for SMBs. It is still in use inside the Salesforce ecosystem. It wasn't renamed a Salesforce "Cloud" product, and it was not joined or linked into SFMC/ExactTarget.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a marketing platform with the ability to support a wide range of marketing activities, such as the execution of multi-channel campaigns; dynamic customer journeys; pre-and post-campaign analytics; audience building and segmentation; social media engagement and advertising; and a platform for data management. SFMC does this using parts they refer to as "Studios" and "Builders":
Channels of communication are managed and interacted with in "studios." This represents the Email Studio, Social Studio, and Mobile Studio in SFMC.
Data, content, and customer journeys are managed by "builders" in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Tumblr media
What are Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s benefits
Data Management
Data extensions (a table) that may be linked together to create a relational database supported by SQL are used in the Marketing Cloud to manage data.
This gives SFMC an advantage over certain alternative systems that provide a limited data model limited by the data they can import and handle. It also helps that SFMC can store different types of data and lets you construct your own unique data model.
This is significant because it enables more complex market segmentation and building within SFMC.
Integration Capabilities
With its strong integration capabilities, Salesforce Marketing Cloud can offer data from a variety of sources (another factor in why the data management features are so valuable).
SFMC has a number of APIs, including a REST API and a SOAP API, in addition to the expected link to Salesforce's Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (through Marketing Cloud Connect).
Updating your current contact information in SFMC, importing content, and starting based sends are a few typical use cases for these APIs.
Third-Party Applications
A wide variety of third-party applications, including those from the Salesforce AppExchange, are available for Salesforce Marketing Cloud to expand its functionality and adapt it to your unique company objectives. Consider the SFMC AppExchange to be similar to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (and other Salesforce Clouds).
SFMC can be improved in terms of functionality and value by a wide range of additional third-party solutions from Salesforce partners outside of the platform.
Application of Artificial Intelligence
With SFMC, Salesforce's artificial intelligence technology, called "Light," offers some unique uses, such as:
For forecasts that will interact with messaging, use interaction ranking.
Sent time optimization determines the most effective time to send a message to each receiver, increasing the chances that it will be opened.
Understanding the engagement rate will help you decide how many messages to send to each person.
Each of these contributes to a more individualised experience for customers while raising brand engagement.

Software as a Service (SaaS)
The software is hosted in the cloud rather than on your equipment. These platforms typically provide numerous options for templates, and the software provider takes care of many aspects of your website’s operation, such as security and software updates.
SaaS platforms are easy to use and don’t require you to install anything, but you give up some flexibility and control over your site. Examples of this option include Shopify, 3dcart, and BigCommerce.
Open-source platforms
Some open-source options are hosted in the cloud, while others require you to host your site on your own server. This option offers much more flexibility and control over your site. It requires more technical knowledge, however, so if you don’t have a web developer on your team, you may need to hire one. Examples include Drupal, Magento, and OpenCart.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Platform as a Service (PaaS) combines aspects of SaaS and open source. You have complete control over the look and functionality of your site, like with open-source. However, the PaaS provider will handle hosting, updates, security, and other management tasks.
Licensed e-commerce software
Here, you purchase a license to use an e-commerce software platform. You can typically use the software forever, and your purchase might come with support and updates. The license will explain what you can do with the software.
With licensed e-commerce software, you’ll typically need to find your own hosting and install and update the software yourself.
Headless commerce solutions
Under the headless commerce model, ecommerce functionality is decoupled from the front end of the website. So, you can purchase a headless commerce solution and add it to any website. This option is useful if you have an existing website and want to add e-commerce functionality to it.
You also get more control over your site’s content section without having to handle e-commerce functionality yourself. BigCommerce, CommerceTools, and others offer headless commerce solutions.
Proprietary e-commerce software
Proprietary e-commerce software is software that a business builds for its own use. With this approach, you take care of everything yourself, from building the platform to hosting it to managing it.
The propriety software model gives you complete control, you need experts to maintain it. Typically, only large, established businesses create proprietary e-commerce software.

Seven Top WordPress Trends You Should Watch In 2022
Around 43% of all websites are powered by WordPress, the most popular content management system. WordPress's success is due to its versatility and ease of use for creating a wide range of websites.
The following are the top predictions for how WordPress will develop in 2022 and beyond.
Headless WordPress
The content on a headless WordPress site is managed by WordPress in the backend and displayed on the front end by other custom solutions.
Headless WordPress setups have multiple benefits:
Better Performance
A WordPress website with optimized front-end loads in milliseconds, improving the user experience and search engine presence. Moreover, fewer resources are required for hosting.
Improved Flexibility
A WordPress website can easily integrate content from multiple sources like web services, social media pages, location information, video streaming websites, etc.
Better Security
A static website does not have an active database connection or a web server. Therefore, your website is more secure since the attack footprint is smaller.
No-code WordPress Development
Low-code/no-code solutions can reduce app development time by up to 90%. No-code platforms are taking over the development world, and WordPress is no exception.
A fully functional website or shop can be built in days with visual page builders such as Elementor and e-commerce plugins such as Woocommerce at a fraction of the cost of doing it from scratch.
WordPress for SaaS
This trend follows the previous no-code platforms, and WordPress is used to create fully functional websites and apps. Platforms without code make it easier than ever to create SaaS.
B2B and B2C clients can benefit from SaaS products, including automating tasks, streamlining workflows, adding new features, or replacing expensive custom-coded solutions.
It is predicted that more entrepreneurs will develop and launch SaaS products by using WordPress and plugins.
WordPress For E-Commerce
The WooCommerce platform (after Squarespace) has a market share of 23.43% worldwide. A slice of the $6.3 billion market for e-commerce software applications is expected to go to WooCommerce by 2023.
CodeCanyon, a popular premium plugins marketplace, has over 1,300 WooCommerce plugins for sale, and there are over 1,000 WooCommerce plugins in the official WordPress plugins repository.
The digital transformation of businesses during the pandemic is here to stay, and WooCommerce will lead the way as WordPress becomes more popular for e-commerce.
Gutenberg Enhancements
Gutenberg was first released as part of WordPress 5 in 2018. It was buggy and difficult to use, so it didn't go over well with the community.
Gutenberg 11.9 introduced improvements to the site editor in preparation for full site editing. With FSE, users can design and develop WordPress websites using Gutenberg blocks to publish content and edit website elements like headers, footers, menus, and sidebars.
The Gutenberg project in the future will support collaboration and multilingual websites.
Performance Improvements
Yoast and Google code contributors proposed creating a performance team to coordinate WordPress' efforts toward improving performance.
Specifically, the focus is on achieving the most "impactful" wins on the WordPress core and helping third-party developers develop faster themes and plugins.
Accessibility Improvements
A website's accessibility refers to its ability to be accessed by everyone, regardless of their device, software configuration, language barrier, location, or ability.
The functionality and content of a website that passes all accessibility tests are accessible to all users. In many countries, accessibility is a legal requirement for users to access and consume information.
