Context under the line

So back in October I went to käärijä Berlin gig giving out some Bojere stickers I made. Five of those went to Mikke (another story but I had sort of promised to give him some xD).

This was however also the same gig where Salena joined Jere on stage. I didnt meet her in person but had a blast seeing her perform with the boy 🥹💚

Fast forward three months later (here's to me feeling old 🫠) and Salena had an IG live performance yesterday. One friend in that live (hi Niini :3) noticed others speaking about a sticker and got curious: lo and behold Salena had decorated her laptop with the exact sticker I had given people at the Berlin gig 😳😱

My theory is that Mikke must have given one of his five stickers to Salena as a thank you for her coming. And now I have to live with the blessed knowledge that Salena has Bojere art I made on her laptop 😭

But that is not all - when I realised that yesterday I made a story about it and today I got a message that Salena has replied 😱:

I have just gotten used to never being noticed (JO boys seems to look anywhere but at my fanart and the same with Jere *I have had häärijä and Mikke react a few times and dont get me wrong i love that too yet since it was back in November I start to wonder if it was a fluke*) and then she does this 🥺 how am I supposed to react now without coming off as awkward or creepy :'D

Thank you! I don't take any interest for my art for granted, and if someone goes through the trouble of drawing my characters for me, I feel like trying to write a proper response is the least I can do. For a visually oriented person, receiving gift/fan art is a huge deal, it means someone considered my goobers worth their time and effort, they've probably been thinking about them more than a little and found them inspiring in a way or another, and I find that terribly flattering. It's extremely fun and interesting to see other people's takes on them. And I've drawn stuff for people as well, I know how nice and rewarding it feels to receive a response that is longer than a word or two. Positive comments like that can linger in people's minds for a long time, at least for me they do.

#this comes with a big serious disadvantage though #it often takes me a long time to write that response #my social batteries are extremely small and a lot of the time by the time I go online I feel too worn out to engage with people properly #I'm autistic anxious and severely depressed my spoons are in short supply at the best of times #I've always had really hard time putting my thoughts into words in a way that I find satisfactory #so I keep putting off reblogging gift art #because most of the time my brain is too smushed to formulate that meaningful comment I want to give #maybe that sounds dumb and fake #but this is something I've struggled with for years and I feel extremely guilty for keeping people waiting like that #often weeks sometimes months even #and potentially making them feel underappreciated and unnoticed #I'm also genuinely very scatterbrained and unorganized and I miss and forget things I'm supposed to do all the time #not to mention that I tend to have trouble keeping track of my mentions and dms and asks I'm only one person #so if you've ever drawn something for me and I didn't/haven't responded yet #please know it's not personal it's entirely my fault I'm kind of a mess #and chances are I'm still very much attempting to get back to you #feel free to remind me if you feel like I might have not noticed your post I really don't mind at all it often helps me a lot #and please if you can don't delete the post even if it seems like I didn't see it #because again sometimes it takes me a long time to respond #thank you to everyone who has stayed endlessly patient with me though I appreciate it #sorry this spiraled into a list of apologies and excuses this is actually something that bothers me a lot #because it's largely a mental health thing but easily comes off as ungratefulness #I'm trying to work on that #answered #anonymous

it’s really encouraging to see that what came out of my brain translated well and was received by someone who also enjoys the thing i wrote something about

keep leaving comments on fics, you’ve no idea what kind of impact you could make on someone esp if they’re struggling with the motivation to keep writing

i think the one reason i cant wrap my head around and why i dont trust that he did touch her boobs was because of her previous two statements. the first stream she did had everyone attacking george and now we know her language and use of words seemed very questionable after george made a response.

and she had the second statement on twitter where she agreed about the waist thing (if im wrong pls kill me). other things like her saying she was chilling at the moment and how thinking about it made her sweat or something, its just so contradicting but i guess people just be like that sometimes.

i think ive come to a conclusion that even if he did, its the context of her hiding her discomfort and admitting she thought she had to do this for networking that gave me the impression there was consent in some way. and going back and forth and cuddling for an hour and reciprocating too.

party culture shock maybe, i think thats quite a common scenario but its really great to see george taking accountability because sometimes people make eachother uncomfortable and him acknowledging the hurt he caused and taking responsibility is the reason i stayed, because i rather have him then ccs who villainize and crucify others for mistakes (i think one day it'll bite them in the ass)

sometimes a piece of art uses imagery that is important to the person making the art and it differs from the traditional usage of that imagery. you may even have a different personal interpretation of it that is not shared by the artist or the traditional meaning. this is important to know and learn.

The thing is people are so busy trying to find their 'perfect love' that they end up losing their 'true love'. Love doesn't come with the most beautiful eyes or the most attractive nose or body. It comes sometimes in the most normal eyes, a crooked nose and not so perfect teeth.

Love doesn't come only if someone looks appealing to you,it comes when someone feels like home to you. When their absence drives you crazy and their presence brings you peace. Love comes in the most unexpected way but we sometimes ignore it because it doesn't seem the way we thought it would be. We question it, we try to talk us out of it, we try to shut it out but still from somewhere it peeks right inside our heart and gently takes it place. And then suddenly that slightly crooked nose feels perfect and those normal eyes become the only pair of eyes that can light up your whole life.

Looks are temporary but how a person makes you feel is something that is permanent. If they love you for your craziness, for your smiles, for your passion, for your dreams, for your demons and for everything that holds you together. That's perfect love.

I hate race washing

Its pointless and serves no value

We do not need to see characters with our skin color to relate to them. I like fluttershy and relate to her but I'm not a pink haired pony.

It is not "representation" and I hate how normalized it is or how if you say anything negative about you're immediately called racist.

representation is important! But not when it's recycled and only made for rage baiting or forced representation

I always hear "Well black people don't get representation" and honestly, its not an excuse to mindless just change the race of a character, especially already established ones.

Ofc theres exceptions like Miled morales, but with him he isnt just an established character turned black but has his own backstory, family, and earth. He isnt just "Peter parker turned black" But his own separate character (and not really a racewashed character but it's an example)

Truly many other black folk think the same as me, but are too afraid to say anything due to backlash but I want to make it known it is not as well accepted or appreciated as people think it is...

I know I will get attacked for my "controversial"opinion but hopefully some people would understand.

Ask yourself, Is black people just representation to you?  Is that all we are?

As I write my Baldur's Gate 3 fanfiction, I've been wondering how the party would react once they find out that my OC has not only been isekaied, but is a half demon. It happens relatively soon, once all the origin characters form a group. But I wonder which characters will start to be a bit more distrustful after the "reveal". I imagine Astarion wouldn't care too much since he's here for the chaos, but the others? I am always open to hearing other's thoughts on this and would appreciate any feedback!

i love writing an extremely sleep deprived rushed essay on the insane interest of my mind. through the power of love I Won. she also loved my essay on black cartoonists last semester she put up with two semesters of my comics in my fine art history classes. love her forever. Valentines Reguri fic (short, sweet oneshot)

FNAF with the plot of Super Paper Mario (random idea I had, which would be cool, greg being the main role and others would have other roles. would have to change it abit and adapt some stuff, but there is a potential)

A fic where two characters are singing along to a song (similar to my fic Rockabye. it be a oneshot, but have some little plot/story)

🖐🏻Other stuff/notes:

Try and make a comic (trying to find my art style for it, and how I'd want to do it. and if I like it, maybe make more)

Branch into different fandoms (pkmn and reguri will be my base, but I'd like to write for other fandoms I like)
