You Know #i have been talking about van dyck nonstop on my private twitter this week it’s been a 24/7 van dyck party #i keep thinking about the way he paints men....like the delicacy and beauty of every man he painted regardless of how ‘attractive’ they were #i dont think there is any evidence that he was gay (although i did see a theory once that he and charles had a fling) but his depictions of #men feel so wonderfully gay to me. he painted men like a gay man would #maybe i am just saying that because i am a gay man and i find all the men in his paintings very handsome but EVEN SO #every day i weep at the fact that fairfax never had his portrait painted by van dyck. every day i cry #if i could go back and influence one thing it would be to get van dyck to paint fairfax. you dont know how much i would Give #AnyWay i am obsessed with van dyck’s artwork and i have many problems. and i love he #also i am so sorry i have been so absent recently my friends!!! term just started again but i will answer things soon :-) i love you #ghost post #some of these are cropped by the way because i like Consistency :-) the middle ones on the first and second rows are bigger in full
