really do not think people understand the extent to which palestinian sites/landmarks (especially muslim ones) were destroyed, beginning in 1948 until now, even in cities. the oldest extant mosque in jaffa (al-bahr mosque) was built in 1675, even though islam came there in the 7th century

I don't care what side y'all are on- we need to stop using "truther" and "denier". Jewish folks have asked time and time again and y'all aren't listening, mainly because I think people are just allergic to listening to jewish people. I'm not even jewish and I've noticed that. I'm also only making this post because y'all refuse to listen to jewish people.
For context: "-Truther" and "-Denier" stem from antisemitic conspiracies. In this article by the ADL (mainly about 9-11 "truthers") directly states that antisemitism is rife in "trutherism". Quote: "Unfortunately, the antisemitism that ADL has documented for the past twenty years regarding 9/11 conspiracy theories can also be found in many of these other “truther” communities. Antisemites attribute mass shootings in the U.S., including Sandy Hook and El Paso, as well as the Charlie Hebdo attack in France, to the machinations of Jews or Zionists"
Later in the article they note that these "trutherism" movements, which transandrophobes are using to refer to trans jewish men, are directly supported by neo-nazis. Quote: "In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups were quick to accept and promulgate antisemitic conspiracy theories to explain the attacks because these theories confirmed their already established belief in the inherent evil of Jews."
All of this is amid a recent rise in attacks against jewish people and synagogues. I am stating it right now, if you use these phrases you are being antisemitic. You are equating trans jewish men talking about their experiences to neo-nazis. Jewish people have already said this and I am simply repeating it because I refuse to allow antisemitism to propogate in the queer community.

okay noah is an ignorant idiot and people are more than welcome to criticize him and his actions, but can some of y'all be normal 💀 bc apparently twitter doxxed his fucking dorm location and are asking upenn students to assault him on campus. i literally cannot think of any reason why this would be okay. if you don't support him, if you hate him — 100% fine. but don't dox him and advocate for him to be violated wtf????

I recently found out that Native People in the American continent have their own name for it, which is Abya Yala.
Anyway, wouldn't it be nice if we started to support their right for self determination and freedom from the oppression of colonial rule? Wouldn't it be nice if we support the complete and immediate abolition of all colonizer countries, which are *checks notes* every single country in the American continent plus the island ones? Wouldn't it be nice if we started telling all the settlers, conquistadors and immigrants to Go Back To Where They Came From? Wouldn't it be nice if we started chanting in the streets and online for the cleansing of the continent from all non-Native people? Wait, that sounds kind of extreme, doesn't it? But what if it rhymed? Everyone knows that if it rhymes it's true and justified right? So maybe the American continent should be free, you know, maybe from shore to shore... no, no. From sea to sea, that's it! What a great cause! And great causes are worth fighting for by all means, right? Obviously, I do not support violence at all, but like wouldn't it be justified if Native People were to become violent in their fight for freedom? I mean, think of the history for a moment, what brought them to this moment? And could you blame them? After all, shouldn't freedom be fought for by all means necessary? Wouldn't you support their claim?
Anyway.
From Sea To Shiny Sea Abya Yala Will Be Free.

love when u see someone being like “ugh i can’t believe this celebrity is a radical zionist. blocking them on everywhere and sending a pipe bomb to their house” and then u find out what they said nd it’s something like “israel’s actions are abhorrent and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. as well as this please be kind to your jewish friends during this spike in antisemitism and also remember to not support terrorist organisations who explicitly claim to want all jews dead just because they hate israel. i pray the violence stops soon <3”

the entire issue with that post is the privilege behind posting it. yeah a white boy can visit israel and love it but palestines are actively dehomed and murdered for being there. understand the nuance. and heres a link to what israel did to palestinians last year and a snippet from the article.

i loathe the zionist propaganda “KIDNAPPED” posters because theyre intentionally “innocuous” enough that you look like an asshole to uninformed bystanders if you remove them but their whole purpose is to normalize a worldview where palestinian resistance to occupation is uniquely horrible and “barbaric,” where the state of israel is represented by precious innocent victims of violence and palestinians are summed up in the shadowy faceless figure of hamas. and they tell you to “take a photo of this poster and share it” to “help bring them home alive” (as if me, half the world away, knowing that this person is out there is going to singlehandedly rescue them), and naturally they aren’t encouraging anyone to take any specific steps that might do anyone any good (e.g. advocating for immediate ceasefire and all-for-all hostage exchange), because their only aim is that as many people as possible believe that hamas did a heinous thing to this harmless people and that the state of israel is defending itself from them.

In relations to Gal Gadot's support for IDF, people started to bring up the infamous "Imagine" video.
Now, I also found it incredibly tonedeaf when it first came out. Bit why was she always the one to get most flack for it? I understand that it was her idea, but it's not like the rest of celebrities were forced into it.
Zoe Kravitz, Pedro Pascal, Jimmy Fallon, Mark Ruffalo and Cara Whateverthefuck? People completely glassed over their involvement in this train trainwreck even back then.
it’s because they were convinced she killed palestinian babies with her bare hands when she was first cast as wonder woman, and I’m not even remotely joking. Gal was a gym trainer during her mandatory service. they saw that and pulled a thg Gale like “even if they’re mopping floors they’re helping the enemy” and they’ve never let it go. the things people have given themselves permission to say about her bc of a lie is really, really disgusting and at the same time very telling of where we’re at as a society.

Them: Hamas is a terrorist organization.
Me: okay, you’re right, fair enough. But what about the IDF? They’re also one, but the fact that they’re state-sanctioned makes them infinitely more dangerous, wouldn’t you agree?
Them: …
Me: 😒

I'm SO tired of this being said about jewish actors (Ben Schwartz this time)
Tumblr media
[id: screenshot of a post by @/puppyartz reading "ben is so fucking skrunkly, look at his stupid nose <3" // "i hate him and i wanna throw him in water to drown /pos /nfr"]

At this point it's become a sad rite of passage for Jewish actors to have these disgusting comments made about them

Still fascinating to me that there's people who truly think their experiences are universal, that because something is popular in the circles they run in means that everyone should know it and will insult and treat people like stupid uncultured swine for even perceived differences in experiences. or if folks disagree with them when they make overly broad generalizations on what 'everyone' knows or thinks.
(b/c it's not like poor people, people from different cultures/subcultures, and people with fundamentally different interests exist.)
Like? That's complete asshat behavior.

“As a member of the ‘western world’, don’t be antisemitic because it hurts the wider movement for Palestinian liberation” you shouldn’t be antisemitic because it’s bad to be a bigot to Jews fyi
