Xzibit's first rap name was Exhibit A
Xzibit’s first rap name was Exhibit A
Xzibit used to rap as Exhibit A. Xzibit originally went by the moniker Exhibit A. Before Alvin Nathaniel Joiner was famously known as Xzibit, his first rap name was Exhibit A when he was around 14 years old. He got his start as a guest rapper with The Alkaholiks after moving to LA from Albuquerque. By the time he signed to Loud Records for the release of his second album his name had been…

WATCHING
Though the film's title resembles that of Abel Ferrara's 1992 film "Bad Lieutenant", it is neither a sequel nor a remake; according to Herzog, its only commonality is a corrupt policeman as the central character.
Insanely underrated movie because it's unfairly thought to be a remake or sequel. But it's Nicolas Cage being a manic drugged out, on the edge cop.
It's got a fucking amazing cast to boot as well.

Jennifer Morrison’s Directorial Debut ‘Sun Dogs’ Lands At Netflix
Tumblr media Tumblr media
EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Morrison’s feature directorial debut Sun Dogs has landed at Netflix. I hear that the streaming service has picked up worldwide rights to the film, which stars Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Xzibit, Allison Janney and Ed O’Neill.
Sun Dogs is a poignant story about an intellectually limited young man, desperate to serve in the armed forces despite countless rejections, searching for meaning in his own life. It follows Ned (Angarano), in his repeated failed attempts to join the Marines and serve his country. When his last interview fails, he takes a Marine officer’s advice to “protect the homefront” a little too seriously, and sets his sights on a casino manager who may or may not be a terrorist mastermind. In trying to uncover this “terrorist cell,” he enlists the help of a young runaway, Tally (Benoist), forming the most unlikely possible anti-terrorism unit in a story of love, friendship and homeland security.
The film, directed by Once Upon A Time star Morrison and written by Anthony Tambakis (Warrior), is produced by Bert Hamelinck through his Caviar banner, who previously produced The Diary of a Teenage Girl and The Rider, both of which sold to Sony Pictures Classics, and Gastón Pavlovich of Fabrica De Cine.
Sun Dogs, which was ripped by UTA Independent Film Group, had its U.S premiere at the 2017 LA Film Festival, before impressing audiences at the Austin Film Festival, Cucalorus Film Festival, SCAD Savannah Film Festival, where it won the “Best Narrative Feature” Award, and had its international premiere at the Los Cabos International Film Festival in Mexico.
Morrison, who plays Emma Swan on ABC’s Once Upon A Time, is repped by UTA, John Carrabino and attorney Rick Genow, while Angarano is repped by UTA and Jackoway Tyerman; Benoist by UTA, Anonymous Content and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz; Janney by Gersh, Thruline and Nelson Davis; and O’Neill by Paradigm and Brillstein Entertainment.
She said: “It is a great privilege to have our film in the skilled, creative and talented hands of Netflix. Sun Dogs is a story that is near to my heart not only as director, but also because I believe the characters will resonate so much with people: dreamers, outliers, lovers, and warriors. Because of these wonderful characters, we were able to assemble an extraordinary cast in Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Allison Janney, Ed O’Neill, and Alvin “Xzibit” Joiner. Their passion and commitment is immeasurable.”

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009)
Crime, Drama |
Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is a American crime drama film directed by Werner Herzog and starring Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Tom Bower, Jennifer Coolidge, Alvin ‘Xzibit’ Joiner, Val Kilmer, and Brad Dourif.
Though the film’s title and story loosely resembles that of Abel Ferrara’s 1992 film Bad Lieutenant, according to Herzog, it is neither a sequel nor a remake; its only commonality is a corrupt policeman as the central character. Nonetheless, the director of the original Bad Lieutenant film, Abel Ferrara, expressed dismay that the Herzog film was being made. Both Bad Lieutenant films were produced by Edward R. Pressman.
In August 2005, Terence McDonagh is a New Orleans police sergeant. While cleaning out a locker after Hurricane Katrina, he notices that a prisoner may not have been transferred. When he finds the prisoner about to drown, he mocks him before eventually jumping in the water to save him. He is promoted to police lieutenant and given a medal for his work, but has suffered a serious back injury because of the rescue. As a result, he is prescribed Vicodin to manage the pain.
Six months later, McDonagh is now not only addicted to painkillers, but is habitually using several other drugs including cocaine and cannabis. He has convinced a person that works in the police department to bring him drugs sent to the evidence room. His girlfriend Frankie Donnenfeld, a prostitute, also does cocaine and they often share drugs. He has become estranged from his father Pat, a recovering alcoholic, and his alcoholic stepmother, Genevieve. Over the course of the film, he uses his position as an officer to bully people and steal more drugs.
Director: Werner Herzog
Writer: William M. Finkelstein (screenplay)
Stars: Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Russell M. Haeuser, Jennifer Coolidge, Val Kilmer, Xzibit, Fairuza Balk
