'Vallecitos' is a luxury earthship house built in 2018 in Taos, NM. It's been featured on Netflix, international TV and social media, among the pages of Forbes and AirBnB magazine, and many others, yet it's been on the market for almost 2 yrs. 2bds, 2ba, asking $825K + $20mo. HOA fee. Let's take a look inside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, the typically long earthship garden that is usually inside the house, is separate here, and like a greenhouse decorated with bottles in the pretty turquoise walls.
Tumblr media
Food grows out here- I see lettuce, aloe vera.
Tumblr media
And, look at this- bananas. Or are they plantains?
Tumblr media
I must say that the living room is nice, but the dining area is a little tight.
Tumblr media
We've seen some pretty primitive earthships before, but this actually looks like a home with beamed ceilings and quality glass doors and windows.
Tumblr media
A real kitchen and it's very pretty. Love the turquoise cabinets.
Tumblr media
It even has a pantry and laundry room.
Tumblr media
Very nice bath and what looks like a real flushing toilet, not a composter.
Tumblr media
Beautiful tile sink.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The secondary bedroom is lovely. It looks like a child's room and has plenty storage for toys, games and books. A desk faces the garden window.
Tumblr media
As we can see, the garden runs the whole length of the large "ship."
Tumblr media
The primary bedroom is nice.
Tumblr media
It opens to the garden area.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pretty en-suite. I would need something on that window, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Out on the patio they have a sauna.
Tumblr media
Patio looking out over the 2.31 acre lot.
Tumblr media
View of the back of th house with the sauna and patio.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Partial privacy wall around a deck.
Tumblr media
Aerial view of the property shows grass and vegetation, but it's quite vast and empty.
Tumblr media
Glamor shot of it at night.

I really like doing DIY hampers, and someone told me I should share my go-to for a sick loved one. It's good for physical and mental illnesses; it has a mix of practical and fun things, some of which you can make yourself or thrift (at your discretion).
Tumblr media
From left to right:
A mug, lemon and ginger tea, and a small jar of (locally sourced if possible) honey.
A soft pair of socks.
Shower steamers for breathing (if the person has a respiratory illness) or for uplifting. If they have a bath, bath bombs.
Disposable no-rinse toothbrushes.
A little hands-on kit eg: dinosaur skeleton puzzle (make sure it is low effort and everything they need is included).
Nice smelling room/pillow spray (you can make this yourself with a clean spray bottle, water, and a few drops of essential oil; lavender and/or peppermint is great).
A few scratch lottery tickets.
Body or baby wipes.
Some trashy magazines (the ones that are like 'I married my cat!' are always fun).
Hydralyte or similar electrolyte supplement.
A large dishwasher safe water bottle (I love Camelbak ones; they are 1.5L/50oz and made with recycled plastic).
Some treats according to your person's preference.
Not pictured, but you could add essentials depending on their illness, eg: paracetamol, ibuprofen, vicks inhaler, aloe tissues.
Obviously this is all budget dependent and you can mix and match. Put your chosen items in a shoebox or basket with some tissue paper and a note, and ta-da! You are a hero!!
I hope this helps or inspires someone. :)

Ship: Lou Miller x Debbie Ocean
Word count: 480+
Warnings: smut, Top!Lou x Bottom!Debbie, strap-on, riding
Synopsis: Lou and Debbie get walked in on by the rest of the group.
“Fuuuck baby, I’m so close,” Debbie whined out as she rode Lou mercilessly. “God Debs, you have no idea how sexy you look right now,” Lou groaned, grabbing onto Debbies hips harder.
This was the first time the couple had the loft to themselves for weeks. The rest of the girls were always there and limited their “sex space”, as Lou called it. The girls weren’t arriving until later on, which gave the couple some alone time together.
“Louuu,” Debbie childishly called out. “Yes honey,” she answered back with her suspicion. “You know how to girls aren’t coming until later?” Debbie walked over to Lou and sat on her lap, loosely wrapping her arms around Lou’s shoulders. “Mhm,” Lou replied, throwing her magazine to the side and resting her hands on Debbies hips. “Well I thought that we could have some fun,” Debbie leaned into Lou’s ear and whispered, licking the outside of it. “What’s gotten into you Debbie?” Lou quirked a brow. “You hopefully,” she replied smugly. “You wish,” Lou replied.
“Just imagine me Lou, on your lap, as I ride you. Your strap filling me up,” Debbie suggested. Lou groaned at the mere thought. “Can’t say no to that, go get the strap.”
Soon enough, Debbie was stripped of her clothes and Lou was wearing their favourite strap. Debbie sat on her lap and groaned in pleasure. “That’s it, keep going baby,” Lou urged her, hands pushing her wife’s hips up and down. “You fuck me so good,” Debbie panted, kissing Lou’s neck. “You take me even better Debbie,” Lou groaned at the site of her naked wife on her lap.
“I’m gonna cum,” Debbies breath became more shallow as they continued. “Just a little longer, I’m gonna make you cum so hard Debs,” Lou replied. Debbie started speeding up her actions, lifting herself up quicker and coming down harder on Lou’s strap. Lou mirrored her wife’s actions and thrusted up hard into her. “Fuuuck baby, I’m gonna cum, please. Please let me cum,” Debbie whined and moaned. “Cum for me Debbie, god. Cum all over me,” Lou replied, grabbing hard on her wife’s hips. “I- fuck!” Debbie screamed out and she came on Lou.
Debbie calmed down and saw a mortified Lou looking at her. “Lou, what’s wron-“ she asked before she saw. The whole group of girls. Tammy stood shaking her head whilst Daphne and Nine ball stood smirking. “I don’t know who I want to be more” Daphne remarked. Rose stood, unable to fathom what she just saw. “I think we should leave you guys alo-“ Amita chimed in before being interrupted by Debbie. “No! Lou and I just weren’t expecting you so early,” she tried to defend herself. “Clearly,” Nine ball laughed before walking to the kitchen. “Put your clothes on please,” Tammy asked before throwing Debbies blouse at her.
“You’re so hot honey,” Lou whispered before kissing her.

Welcome to Aloe's very cool guide to spicing up your sketchbook pages!
Tumblr media
This is for @ltlemon who was interested in how I go about my pages!
1. Spacing
Tumblr media
The drawing on the left is all the same size, leaving a lot of space between each drawing. It dosent grab the viewer's attention or directs their eye across the page.
On the right there's varying sizes and the entire page itself is broken into parts. This makes the page more interesting and cohesive! To fill in empty space I might add doodles, writing or stickers!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A few examples!
2. Multi media
Tumblr media
This is a sketchbook so don't be afraid to be messy!! Place sticky notes over mistakes, dig out crayons and dying markers and throw it anywhere that looks empty.
I highly recommend collecting cool scrap you find as well (wrappers, business cards, magazines, receipts, ect)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some more examples!
3. Variety
Tumblr media
While a collection of smaller doodles can get pretty comfortable in a sketchbook (and definitely take up a lot of my pages) don't be scared to throw in some larger pieces! Mixing up your sketchbook pages with things either out of your comfort zone or just different then usual can help your art improve and makes the peice more striking!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last two examples!
I hope you found something useful in this and please note I'm a teenager who only draws for fun, this is all based on my personal experience of fucking around and is just what works for me. Thanks for reading and happy drawing!! :-)

REVIEW: Astrovitae magazine Issue 2
Astrovitae is a magazine devoted to creators in the speculative fiction subgenre of speculative biology. Though people have imagined fantastic beasts and beings since the beginning of our species, speculative biology  focuses on developing organisms using our current knowledge of biology, ecology, physics, geology and other sciences. Though even within these limits there is a wide spectrum, as some creators may work with strict hard science rules while others prefer to design fantastic beasts closer to myth and folklore.
This second issue of Astrovitae shows significant refinement from the already impressive first issue.   There is a new section on speculative biology news featuring interviews, YouTube videos, Kickstarters, and new projects.. It’s a good way to keep abreast of the bewildering variety of speculative projects out there. This issue also features the first of a regular book review column, beginning with Christian Cline’s The Teeming Universe.
Collaborative projects are the focus of issue two, with articles on the online Discord-based Specposium convention, the Project Sil Discord, and a preview of Almost Real magazine. The latter showcases the Keraunoplast, fascinating slime mold-like organism that feeds directly on electricity and can actually bond with old space junk to form cybernetic life forms. This issue came out in September 2021, and it’s fascinating to see how the imposed quarantine of the Covid pandemic and the subsequent burst of more online communication through Discord, Instagram and other social media has led to the birth of so many new speculative biology projects.
Hyperlinks embedded in the Pdf pages are a really useful feature. Readers can click an article’s byline to go to the creator’s website or other social media. Clicking the section heading will also take one back to the table of contents.
As with the previous issue, Astrovitae #2 is divided into several sections: Captivating Worlds, with overviews of large world-building projects; Artist Spotlight, which looks at the creators themselves and their bodies of work as a whole; and Creature Compendium: which zooms in on individual organisms.
Captivating Worlds begins with an in-depth look at the natural history of Mathijs Megens’ Amethyst Beach Shield, a chemosynthetic armored organism.
The next entry, Domenic Pennetta’s Project Perditus is a survey of a world that resembles Earth in the early Paleozoic, with creatures that will feel familiar to many paleo-enthusiasts, while still retaining their own alien-ness.
The Alternate Cenozoic Project by Thien Anh Nguyen is a what-if about an earth where the large dinosaurs were not killed off by an impact form space, following in the tradition of works such as Dougal Dixon’s The New Dinosaurs, and the Speculative Dinosaur Project.
Sea Serpents of the Arthechocene by Alejandro Martínez Fluxá is set in the future after human-caused mass extinctions. With all the large pinnipeds and cetaceans gone, sea snakes evolve to fill the niche of large oceanic predators and filter-feeders, becoming the long, whale-like tiamats.
Evan Proctor’s Before Planet Feni is primarily an outline of the dominant species on the titular planet, as well as some background about the planet’s explorers. Hopefully there will be more to come in this work.
The World of Nijin-Konai by Lorenzo Battilani is a hard science look at a primarily aquatic alien world, delving into microbiology and genetics with a radiation resistant enzyme and redundant genes that allow the planet’s organisms to adapt to the lethal UV radiation of their native star.  Battilani also discusses the complex neurological, metabolism and anatomy of his creature in minute detail that could have come from a college biology textbook.
Artist Spotlight features an article by YouTube creator Biblaridion detailing how their channel grew from a tutorial on concepts in evolutionary biology to a detailed study of a fictional world.
Reinhard Gutzat offers a meditation on the sometimes rocky intersection of creativity and biological accuracy during an artist’s development process.
Artist Sibilla Pepi offers a look at their design process as they develop a feathered wyvern based on the biology of real-life birds.
Creature Compendium showcases individual speculative creatures in the manner of pages taken from a field guide and includes a giant diving beetle, an alien tadpole, a balloon-like organisms that lives in the atmosphere of a gas planet, and more.
The authors write with the enthusiasm and vernacular of seasoned biologists well versed in scientific nomenclature. Their creatures are given unique taxonomic names and anatomical terms, adding greatly to their believability. These complex names can get a bit overwhelming, however, leading to what one might call “textbook burnout”.  Sometimes I found it necessary to go back and reread articles to fully absorb all the names. This terminology might turn off a reader with a scientific background, but the imaginative variety on display should hold most interests. This is a minor critique, though, and the magazine overall is a professional-quality publication that would be at home in any library shelf. I am particularly pleased to see more projects focusing on the hypothetical evolution of Earthly creatures.
Astrovitae issue 2 is vailable both as a free downloadable PDF from the magazine’s website and as a virtual book that one can flip through on Yumpu.com

GJ and ZZH Updates — December 25-31
<<< previous week || all posts || following week >>>
This is part of a weekly series collecting updates from and relating to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan.
This post is not wholly comprehensive and is intended as an overview, links provided lead to further details. Dates are in accordance with China Standard Time, the organization is chronological. My own biases on some things are reflected here. Anything I include that is not concretely known is indicated as such, and you’re welcome to do your own research and draw your own conclusions as you see fit. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or additions. :)
[Glossary of names and terms] [Masterlist of my posts about the situation with Zhang Zhehan]
12-25 → Hsu Fu Chi posted four photo ads featuring Gong Jun.
→ 361° posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
→ QuelleVous posted screenshots of the data records for Lexus’s Instagram stories, which show that the claims that he posted that something good was about to happen on 2021-12-24 were untrue. It’s also worth noting that Lexus never includes mentions / photos of Zhang Sanjian in his regular Instagram posts, only in these stories that become unavailable after 24 hours. Additionally, Lexus’s claims of owning an apartment in Beijing are untrue.
→ Gong Jun posted a video to his Xiao Hong Shu showing Charlotte Tilbury products he was gifted. [subbed video]
12-26  → 361° posted a promotional video spoken by Gong Jun. (1129 kadian)
→ Sichuan Satellite TV posted a promotional video spoken by Gong Jun advertising a program that will be held on 01-01. [subbed video]
→ Colgate posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

At 7:30 p.m. on December 31, come to Hunan Satellite TV’s New Year’s Eve party, and let’s welcome the new year together!” His studio reposted this with the added caption: “The end of the year has come, and the new year is coming. Welcome 2023 with boss @ Gong Jun Simon!”
→ BEAST posted the full commercial for their New Year’s product line. Fan Observation: Gong Jun did the little hand twirl while bowing again.

→ Rocco Liu, the editor of GQ magazine, posted a photo of himself and Gong Jun to his Xiao Hong Shu.
12-28 → Fresh posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
→ BEAST posted a behind the scenes video of Gong Jun from their current ad campaign. (1129 kadian)
→ Canada’s Fairchild Radio primiered a third stolen song. The airing included a sound clip spoken by Zhang Zhehan which those listening mistakenly believed to be new—a haizhe openly admitted to creating this using two clips from 2020, claiming she did not intend for this misunderstanding.
12-29 → Gong Jun posted photos of a bracelet that Tiffany & Co. gifted to him on his Weibo and Instagram. This was reposted by Tiffany.
Tumblr media
→ Gong Jun changed his Instagram pfp to one of the silhouette photos he posted on 12-10.
→ Bluebird posted a video exemplifying audio deepfakes, which shows the song Wake Me Up sung by Aloe Blacc being artificially rendered into multiple other languages while still maintaining the artist’s vocal idiosyncracies. There has been some question of if the songs that I’ve been referring to as stolen are even by Zhang Zhehan in the first place.

A rowboat
#notamovieexplanation
To me, a romantic relationship resembles a rowboat. A romantic relationship can be likened to a boat being rowed by two individuals. When two individuals experience joy, they are working together towards a common goal, steering their rowboat towards vast seas, to Hawaii or even the Pacific! When two individuals aboard a rowboat are unhappy, they often row in opposing directions. The outcome of such a situation can be imagined - the boat may become stuck, spin around, or even sink! Like many other couples, my husband and I experience various highs and lows in our relationship, causing our boat to be in chaos sometimes. Like last night, our boat twirled and twirled incessantly, causing my spouse and I to experience aching discomfort in our heads and heart. Now, welcome on board! I began the dialogue by inquiring with my husband whether women of the Islamic faith in his nation, Saudi Arabia, have the autonomy to decide whether or not to put on the Hijab. I was simply curious to dig deeper into my husband's faith and learn about the origins and significance of the Hijab. As an inquisitive individual, I have come to understand that the Cross is emblematic of the Christian faith, whereas the Crescent and Star are representative of the Muslim faith. However, when I contemplate the Muslim faith, my thoughts are immediately drawn to the Hijab. Yes, my mind is foolish and has a weird way of operation sometimes. Returning to my husband, he conveyed that in his homeland, the decision to wear a Hijab is left to the individual's discretion. Furthermore, he stated that the government of Saudi Arabia has recently relaxed its regulations on women's clothing, granting them greater liberty of self-expression while still adhering to the customary standards of decency.  Alo, the smart brain can't come to the phone right now. Why? Because the silly is here! I somehow managed to pick up on his response and immediately introduced another subject from a different nation with a different culture. The moment I mentioned a sad tragedy that happened in Iran, the conversation suddenly and unpleasantly changed course. A lady was allegedly executed by the government for not donning a hijab, according to a magazine.  Silly did I know, my behaviors gave the impression that I believed that my husband, a Muslim man, supported the enslavement and control of women. This is false, though, as he has never approved of such conduct. I didn't realize at the time, but the juxtaposition of these two topics had led my husband to believe that all Muslims supported forcing their views and the hijab on women. The result was a heated argument that left my husband feeling overwhelmed and entrapped by all of my subsequent comments. Therefore, he decided to end the conversation quickly rather than escalating the argument. He believed this would give us each a chance to gather our thoughts and analyze what had happened. But because our conversation ended abruptly, I was left feeling confused and upset. Not to mention that he sent me a message saying, "You hurt me so bad tonight. Thank you.” Do you feel the boat shaking? Indeed it is. Since I believed what I had said made perfect sense at the time, I was at a loss as to why my spouse was upset. We both agreed that there were no taboo topics between us, so I merely came to him to talk about the topic. However, after the call ended, I had the impression that he was trying to shut me up, and this made me even more upset. I persisted in conversing since I can't leave a contentious subject unresolved, and we continued the debate through text because my husband needed to get his work done on time. But it seemed that we had lost the conversation at this point. Because of the words we used and the way we stated them, we gave the impression that we were furious about something other than the initial topic—my curiosity in the hijab. After a long conversation on video call, both me and my husband gained some sort of lessons for us. I learned about two things that upset my husband:
+How? -It was not appropriate for me to bring up different topics at once, and since Iran and Saudi Arabia have very different cultures even though they both practice Islam as their primary religion (I know, my husband is so wise), mixing up these two distinct nations could be confusing. +When? - It was a bad time to do it. My spouse was stressed out because of his job, and the deadline was burning him up. On the other side, my husband also discovered that, despite his best efforts to spare us from needless conflict, he shouldn't have responded that way, attempted to hurry off the topic, and shut it off. Instead, he ought to have helped me get to the heart of the matter and walked me through the two matters step by step, assuring me that I could completely rely on him to share and discuss whatever I was interested in. Do you feel the boat is stable now? Indeed it is. Not to mention that he even apologized in a cute way.  Allow me to cite, "I'm sorry, this is all my fault, this is all my fault my lovely wife somehow brought up two different events at the same time. And because my wife is so cute, it's all my fault." I burst into uncontrollable laughter, and my spouse joined in as well. Now the boat is going to the ocean! My husband usually tells me to keep rowing ahead, even harder and in harmony to go past the barrier whenever the boat starts to shake because our boat is passing by an underwater obstacle (perhaps the little Mermaid). The boat is not trembling because one of us made a mistake. Never are we against each other; it's always us versus the issues, baby.
