SPOILERS FOR THE WITCHER S3 VOL. 1
Will be discussing Extraordinary Things, other Jaskier things and Vol. 2 predictions! It's a fairly long scroll!
----
I've been seeing lots of people giving their thoughts about Extraordinary Things so I thought I'd give my thoughts and interpretations.
Who is the song about?
People have been umm-ing and ahh-ing about whether it's about Geralt or Radovid (or other) but I definitely feel like it is about both of them. The premise of the situation is Jaskier is playing a few songs for Radovid and company, implying these are songs Jaskier has had in his repertoire for a while. This is where the song could definitely be interpreted to be solely about Geralt. However, from a kind of story perspective, I think the song works as a way to frame Jaskier and Radovid's romantic entanglement.
The immediate parallel I can think of for this technique is in episode 1 with Yennefer's narration of her letters to Geralt (which I LOVED🥹). The letters act as situational and emotional context for the viewer; they tell us where Geralt and Yennefer's relationship is at and an impression of the time passed since Kaen Mohren, all without bloating the episode with snapshots of these moments.
I think, therefore, Extraordinary Things acts as a look towards what Jaskier and Radovid could become, and what they could find in and through each other. Joey Batey said that he wrote Extraordinary Things to replace scenes of dialogue, because it could say just as much, if not more. Hence why I think the song reflects Jaskier's present/past/future.
"The greatest songs are made up of unspoken words of love / of them I have had enough"
These lines, I feel, are most definitely about Geralt. You only have to think of his set-up for Toss a Coin to Your Witcher and Jaskier's line "respect doesn't make history." His career became oriented by singing the praise of the White Wolf in epic ballad styles of quests and battles against foes. Of course, then comes the mountain™ moment and then Burn Butcher Burn. I think (depsite what the showrunners have said and that platonic line this volume) Jaskier has been in love with Geralt. Jaskier loves love, he loves people, why wouldn't he have loved Geralt? I still feel the pronoun usage in Her Sweet Kiss makes the song ambigious in its position regarding his feeling and whose perspective he is singing in. The "I forgive you" line in 3x04, alongside S1 Jaskier's "and yet, here we are" and "just trying to work out what pleases me" lines further contribute to this. Furthermore, as Jaskier confirms with Yennefer about Burn Butcher Burn, "Fine, yes, when I wrote it, it did come from the heart. Perhaps a broken one."
Now, returning to Extraordinary Things, Jaskier's role as a bard is different now - he isn't travelling the Continent trying to be a barker for Geralt. He is the Sandpiper, he has found his higher purpose, the thing he truly cares about and wants to make a difference with (*plays Song of the Seven.*) Those days of Jaskier following Geralt round on uneven terms are over. They have a different dynamic now so those Toss a Coin days, of them he's had enough.
Joey lingers on the line "of them i've had enough" which I think emphasises the feelings I mentioned above. He also beautifully expresses this kind of cocktail of bittersweet regret, longing, acceptance, self-awareness and defiance before singing the following lines:
With you I have enough / with you I am enough / I am enough
Radovid sees Jaskier as Jaskier sees Radovid. They both seem to be able to look beyond the carefully constructed masks they both put up. And yes, it certainly feels they both know that they can "take" each other's hearts, and "break" each other's heart as they're both playing a dangerous game. And yes, the way and time Jaskier sings the song, him and Radovid have only had a few scenes together, but I think this circles back to the fact of this song acting as a framing device for what Jaskier and Radovid could be.
Radovid's admission in episode 4 that Jaskier sees the best in people, while the truth, Radovid is implicating that where Jaskier is seeing the best in Radovid, there are the darker/more nefarious secrets and conspiracies which Radovid is embroiled in. But when you find that person that sees you as you are, especially when many people perceive you as this one-dimensional thing, that can throw logic and rationale out the window.
Regarding Radovid's/Jaskier's position this season, Radovid, I don't think, ever intended to catch feelings for Jaskier, and nor did Jaskier. Jaskier, I think is trying to use his position to protect the people he loves and protect the elves, trying to play both sides. Ultimately, I don't think this is going to work. I feel the season (and Time of Contempt which is the Sapkowski novel the season is predominantly based upon) is all about the reality that you have to pick a side, neutrality is no longer an option, and from what Joey has said, Jaskier is not as good at all this political manouevering than he thinks.
My personal prediction for Vol 2 and what could happen is that Jaskier may find himself in trouble with Dijkstra and Radovid will use his position to get Jaskier out of it. It may be a case where Radovid betrays Jaskier (as one feels is bound to happen) but, as I said, Radovid would ultimately save Jaskier as his kind of 'redemption' moment. Their romantic entanglement feels doomed, but the fact that these feelings can blossom and bloom in such a time of war and struggle and violence is hopeful in a way.
It's not a want / it's a need / it's paying no heed to what others say / to sing
This line almost adds to that feeling of doomed romance - they're playing "no heed" to what would be expected of them (a standard or uncomplicated romance). I also love this line in the context of Jaskier's conversation with Yennefer in Oxenfurt when he is discussing the persecution of the elves. Being queer makes him an 'Other'. Just being in a nonstraight relationship, he is "paying no heed" to the kind of relationship ("song") he is expected to have.
My final thing, slightly unrelated, is that I reallllly hope Jaskier and Rience have a scene together in vol. 2. I am so pleased that Jaskier's trauma from Rience has been discussed so I would just love to see Jaskier in a situation where he is confronted with it - and hopefully sticks it to Rience!
And thus indeeds my far too long ramble about all things Jaskier. Time of Contempt is one my favourite books ever but I didn't want to cross-reference my thoughts with it too much as that is even more spoilers. If you've made it this far, I would love to have a chat about what you all think! Obviously this is just my interpretation and i'm an english graduate so will find any excuse to write an essay lol. Now the wait for vol 2...

Hi! I just wanted to say I absolutely adore your art!! You're so talented!! And, if you have time (but only if!!) do you have any recommendations for tutorials on how to draw better, the way you do? Did you learn from any specific channels or books? Annnd lastly what do you use to draw on, software-wise? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, though! I hope you have a great day! ♡
Ahh thank you very much sweet anon!
I'm honestly a bit too lazy to sit through tutorial videos..? ( -▽-; ) It's been a while since I've last watched one. Would recommend to watch some speedpaints from your favorite artists though (if available)! They usually give a pretty good insight on techniques too.
You might also want to check out Ethan Becker, think he has some pretty important quick tips to keep in mind.
I use Sketchbook Pro to draw, but I've mentioned before that I wouldn't recommend it as it isn't very professional at all. I'm just used to it.
Hope you have a great day as well!💛

So for Easter I decided to draw a few bunny girls, but I didn't want to take too much time since admittedly the holiday just sorta...sprung up on my by surprise. I legit did not realize Easter fell in march this year, I thought I had more time!
Well, better a little late than never. I decided to make them all chibi designs to make it a bit easier on myself...and UH OH I pulled an Evo and made wverything harder on myself because I never know when to stop adding details like a dork.
Ahh well, at least they came out cute because of my attention to detail. Plus I tried a brand new drawing technique for linework with my pen, and I think it's a good evolution for my style.
Now to figure out how shading works and I'll be golden.
But enough rambling about the background of this piece, here's more on the actual in universe stuff. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly, despite Dawn's personality having a huge shift since I made her, she's still got elements of her original "shy UwU bean" that haven't completely gone away. While her dominant personality is pretty much "constantly angy cat", it's easy to see that it's a bit of a facade that hides her original cute and giggly self underneath. Once it's shattered, it's easy to make her all flustered again. Having her wear a cute bunnygirl costume is ONE of said ways to bring out that personality of hers all over again~
Outfit wise, I've been leaning towards giving her a more definitive "arctic/polar" aesthetic as compared to the other two ice users Dusk and Twila. Dawn's the one most associated with the cold winter night sky with plenty of stars, a combination of beauty and serenity coupled by a sense of slight melancholic loneliness. Kinda fits her personality to a T~ With that, I like using a combination of dark blues (to represent the night sky) and light cyans and whites (for the snow and stars).
With that in mind, her main outfit might get a bit of a redesign in the future. Especially since like...I've noticed a ton of my OC's have similar outfits because of my biases when it comes to fashion.

Well guys neurofeedback really works I really did store all the panic attacks in pre 12 year old trauma stress stored in the vagus nerve sisksdkdk
I've had like 10 neurofeedback sessions and now even when my mom yells at me I can 1 remain alert and not have a massive panic attack 2 not full on sob 3 actually stay level headed enough to stick to my own side and needs and get through a conversation. Like is it perfect? No I'm still getting overwhelmed and need to let out a shout. Is it better? Fuck yes because full on panic attacks before id lose verbalisation and start blaming myself and people pleasing and just full nightmare scenario.
Anyway just. Anyone thinking of trying neurofeedback, especially if you got hell level panic or anxiety attacks that CBT and DBT and Mindfulness techniques never fully helped, it definitely has been helping me. I imagine the prior practice with those other techniques is part of why it's working faster than expected. But yeah just like my panic attacks were so intense and unmanageable to such a huge degree before, that even though they rarely happened I was terrified of if they would. So it's nice to know now one of my biggest triggers I can get through so much more functionally than before.
Not everyone's lol stress is in the vagus nerve btw ahh when my neurofeedback practitoner did my brain map scan. She found that the area of the brain that affects the vagus nerve happened to be where I had the most stored past stress that was being held onto. And so she decided to try a vagus nerve reset protocol for me instead of the usual neurofeedback treatment for panic attacks/anxiety she does, since the vagus nerve also affects that stuff and I have mega stomach issues and pain and the vagus nerve affects that too.
Well it was a good call cause 1 treatment took my stomach pain from 10 to a 5 and since has kept it there, and I've noticed so far from these sessions the hugest difference in my anxiety and panic attacks - they went from 10 in severity when they happened to now a 2-4. When I'm anxious now I'm calm enough to know I'm scared and think logically like cbt or dbt strategies would say then get myself to do the anxious thing anyway. When I'm scared to upset someone which used to make me panic, I can now rationally think of my own needs and the necessity to be more firm and continue to bug people/contact people/ask MORE to help myself even if im afraid. Which before was just.. one of the hardest goddamn things for me to do, so for it to even be possible is a big improvement.
Neurofeedback may also be helpful for adhd etc, I mainly went for the application to treatment of complex ptsd and trauma cause I'd read up on ptsd treatments and results and it seemed like something i hadn't tried yet that helped with intense panic attacks and triggers get so severe that rational strategies like dbt just aren't helping or aren't helping enough. And while the person I see mentions quite a lot of benefits of it, I can't say for sure it can fix my gut functionality (which is the ultimate outcome for me now - treatments until I have improved motility and no base pain from nerves), but I can say it immediately noticeably lowered the pain level and my anxiety levels. That said, the typical treatment did not seem to do anything for me - I only got results once we focused on my vagus nerve and the general area in my brain that affects that and was holding all the stress. So if you do try out neurofeedback like if your brain map shows a particular area with more stuff going on it might be worth focusing on it.

Characters: Chiba Ryuunosuke, Yamazaki Jenny, Nakamura Rio, and Maehara Hiroto
Word Count: 2.3k words
Author's Note: I've just been wanting to write anything about these particular four lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"What are you two doing here?"
Nakamura and Maehara purposely avoided Miki's intense stare as she interrogated them.
"I was just getting something to eat but then I saw you two across the street..." Nakamura answered innocently before finally letting herself meet Miki's gaze. "So I just thought of saying hi... didn't expect to bump with this guy though," she pointed a thumb towards Maehara.
Verbally unresponsive, Miki blankly stared back for a few seconds, seemingly taking in Nakamura's answer, before moving her gaze towards Maehara's instead and raised an eyebrow, prompting him to speak up.
Maehara immediately looked sideways, avoiding her gaze once again. "Well, you told me last week that I should cancel my date with Remi-chan and that's what I did so now I have nothing to do-"
"Bullshit," Miki cut him off, clearly not amused. "That was last month, you bastard."
Nakamura lightly scoffed at that.
"I uhh..." Maehara trailed off, his gaze darting everywhere until they landed into Miki's hair. "Your hair!" He cracked a tight grin, obviously trying to change the topic. "It looks cute today!"
"I know," Miki answered dryly. Her hair is currently tied into loose twin dutch braids. "I see myself in the mirror everyday."
"Nevermind that, there's something I wanted to ask you," Nakamura butted in, "who's that guy? He looks familiar." She gestured towards the person standing next to Miki, who had worn his bucket hat down to his face, making it almost impossible to make out his appearance.
The said person let out a deep, seemingly annoyed, sigh at the question. "You can't even recognize me and yet you decided to follow us for almost thirty minutes straight?" He breathed out.
Nakamura immediately recognized that voice. "Chiba-kun?!" She exclaimed.
"Wait, Chiba?" Maehara took a step closer towards the guy to get a closer look at him.
Chiba clicked his tongue in irritation, pulling down his bucket even further while turning his head away. "Yeah, it's me."
Tumblr media
Maehara stood almost awkwardly by the aisle as he watched the other three go over some make up products and try them out.
...or rather it was Miki trying out the products onto Chiba while Nakamura was going through the shelves.
After their mini confrontation by the street, Miki soon had told them that she was out with Chiba to shop for make up products to use for his future stages.
"The red palette was getting kinda boring lately so I thought of experimenting with colours on him and see what fits him the best," she explained to them earlier.
Maehara admitted that, aside from what he saw or heard from his older sisters, he doesn't know that much about make up since he was more of a skincare kind of guy.
Almost 30 minutes have passed ever since Miki and Chiba settled themselves at the testing corner of the aisle, and Maehara felt like he should entertain himself with the skincare section of the store instead of awkwardly waiting for them to finish.
As he was about to excuse himself, he saw Nakamura suddenly approaching him.
"Hey, so I just saw this tint right here," Nakamura held up a product in warm pink colour in a shape of some plastic tube Maehara can't make out of, "and I thought it would look good with your skin tone."
Maehara blinked in confusion. "But I don't really wear make up though-"
"Relax~ The colour's not that pigmented and it won't even feel like you have something on your lips at all!" Nakamura breezily reassured while opening the tube's lid.
Maehara quickly stiffened when Nakamura suddenly grabbed his chin. "Now stay still," she ordered.
"Hey this is kinda..."
"Don't get any weird thoughts here, Maehara-kun~" Nakamura quickly cut him off without missing a beat.
Meanwhile, Miki slowly leaned backwards to examine her work so far. "Oooh the warm purple is kinda sexy with the faint gold!"
"Oh! That does look nice on him, miss!" A nearby clerk praised when she took a closer look.
"Right?!" Miki grinned before turning back to Chiba. "You holding up there?"
"This is nothing," he shrugged. "Though I have to be honest, I'm slowly starting to get embarrassed with all these people around..."
Miki smiled reassuringly at him in response, gently brushing away loose strands of hair from his face. "Well, at least people here hardly recognize you. So perhaps that helps a little, right?"
"Yeah, it does..." Chiba softly replied, his gaze following Miki's fingers as she went through the lip products she has scavenged so far. "What happened last week at class was borderline torture."
Miki stiffened at his remark, clearly remembering the exhaustingly chaotic events that had occurred in less than an hour that day. "Aha..."
Chiba just rolled his eyes at her lack of response. "Say, can you hand me a smaller mirror? I want to take a closer look on what you've worked on so far while you keep looking for uhh... whatever you're looking for, I guess."
"Here," Miki handed him her own compact mirror, before returning her focus to finding the right colour for him. "Ohh this is nice!" She barely heard him say.
"Umm miss?" Miki approached the clerk who had praised her earlier. "If you don't mind, I was wondering if you could help me with selecting the right lip colour that would go well with his eyeshadow?"
She then laughed sheepishly afterwards. "I'm not too well-versed with things like colour theory, you see..."
"No worries, I would love to help!" The clerk smiled brightly at her in return. "Just let me take a closer look again so I can help you find the right fit!"
Tumblr media
"Oh that kinda looks sexy, don't you think?" Maehara commented as he and Nakamura watched Miki do her work.
"That's what I thought..." Miki almost whispered, carefully applying the chosen colour onto Chiba's lips.
"Must be nice," Nakamura suddenly blurted out after quietly watching for a while.
"Which is...?"
"Working on those kinds of lips," she answered.
Miki hummed in agreement, now blending out the pigment with a small brush. "I find it easier to apply technique if your workspace is wide enough."
"No wonder I struggled with this guy..." Nakamura let out a disappointed sigh, barely gesturing towards Maehara. "There's barely any space to work on with how small his lips actually are."
Miki nearly choked at the revelation. "Wait, they are?" Failing to suppress an amused grin, she turned to look at a now annoyed Maehara to see it for herself.
"Oh, the colour's nice. Good choice," she first complemented, taking note of how well the faint coral tint goes with Maehara's warm skin tone and brown hair. "You did a great job applying it, Rio. It doesn't even look like he's wearing anything on his lips."
"Ahee~" Nakamura grinned widely at the. compliment.
Miki cracked a smile. "But yeah, somehow it made it obvious how small his lips actually are," chuckling, she turned back to Chiba and continued her work. "Even I just noticed it."
"I don't know how I am supposed to feel right now..."
Nakamura nudged Maehara with a cheeky grin. "Hey, at least she basically said the colour looks good on you~"
"I would honestly be more convinced if she wasn't still mad at me..." Maehara sighed in disappointment.
"If only you never lied to me~" Miki hummed, not even once looking at him.
Maehara groaned in response. "C'mon Miki, that was way back in April. Can't you just drop it?"
"I think we're done here!" Miki suddenly announced, standing up straight after minutes of leaning.
Maehara sighed again, not surprised that she was purposely ignoring him. He's more than aware that last month's discourse with Kaho truly had him lose Miki's trust. He just didn't think that she was the type to hold grudges for this long.
"I don't know about you, but I think it'd better if you just stop bringing it up to her every other day?" Nakamura said in a low voice, quirking an eyebrow at him. "Like no offense, Maehara-kun, but if I we're in Miki's position right now I'd be annoyed too."
"Rio, can you help me put back the testing palettes to their shelves?" Miki called out now from the other end of the aisle.
Sending Maehara one last look, Nakamura walked towards the taller blonde. "Sure~"
Maehara was then once again back to awkwardly standing by the shelves. However, it didn't take too long for them to return the testing products to their respective shelves.
"Say, Ryuu. You want me to remove all that now or are you planning to just leave it on?" Miki called out despite her hands currently full.
Chiba was examining Miki's work through the long mirror on top of the shelves. "Hmm I think I'll just leave it on and take it off myself once I get home," he answered, running his hands through his hair. "The shadow work is not heavy enough to look weird to wear in public.... thankfully."
"Yeah it doesn't look like you're wearing much," Nakamura commented, walking away from the counter near the aisle and towards him.
Most of the heavy shadow work Miki had done were on Chiba's lower lids and on the outer corner of his eyes. Hence why, unlike earlier when he had them half-closed, which made them look more obvious, they were barely noticeable now that he was looking ahead.
"Kinda looks like you're just wearing eyeliner with some colour here and there," Nakamura added with a slight grin. "You look good though, by the way."
"Thanks," Chiba replied almost shyly, though his following smile was making it more prominent. "My stage makeup is much heavier than this, especially the shadow work. Miki tends to go all out around my lower lashes especially..." He explained to them briefly, though more to Maehara since the guy looked kind of lost for a moment.
Maehara nodded in understanding. "Ahh that explains why it doesn't feel the same as last week's..."
Chiba hummed in reply, proceeding to mess with his hair again. "It's getting hotter outside but I can't leave my hair loose like this. I don't have anything to have it up," he briefly gathered his hair again, as if he was planning to tie it into a ponytail, but soon let go of it.
"...can't even wear it down with all the makeup now," he sighed, brushing it again with his fingers.
"Just tolerate the heat and make do with the bucket hat," Nakamura suggested, handing Chiba his white bucket hat which now that he thought about it, he had no idea how she even got a hold of it in the first place.
Maehara watched as Chiba brushed all of his hair backwards before putting on the hat. "Hey, don't pull it too down."
"Nah I'll look weird otherwise."
Maehara raised an eyebrow at his response. "What are you talking about? I'm pretty good-looking myself-"
Nakamura let out a gagging noise.
"but even I can- Will you stop that?!" Maehara hissed at Nakamura, who only stuck her tongue out to him in response.
Taking off the bucket hat, Chiba approached the counter where Miki was still waiting in line. "Miki, do you have anything with you?" He asked rather tiredly. "Hair tie, clip, a beanie, or just anything I can use?"
"Let me check," Miki quickly went through her tote bag. "Ah I have my beanie, though it's those bigger types..." She brought out a red beanie and handed it to him.
Chiba happily took it from her hands. "Oh I have one like this in blue, thanks!"
He went back to where Maehara and Nakamura stood and immediately wore the beanie. Tucking the rest of his hair behind his ears, Chiba looked at the mirror in mild satisfaction. "Hmm yep I guess that does it."
"Cute," Nakamura cheekily commented, thus ruining Chiba's composure as he broke into a shy smile.
"Be quiet," he muttered, turning his head away from the now grinning duo.
Tumblr media
"Is it even fine for you to be seen with us on a Sunday afternoon?" Maehara suddenly brought up when they left the store.
"I think it's fine," Nakamura answered before Chiba even opened his mouth. "We took pictures last week and I posted some of mine on twitter too. So, it shouldn't be surprising to people that 'Lead Guitarist-kun' is hanging out with people his age on a weekend."
Miki hummed in agreement. "He's just a rather popular member of a local band in this town," she then scoffed, "not a damn celebrity for him to be not seen in public."
"That's true but I'm talking about us being class E students," Maehara turned to Chiba. "Since the reason why you even hid this whole band thing from us was so that people won't find out that you're a class E student technically participating in club activities," he elaborated.
Chiba nodded in confirmation. "You're right. But as they said, it's fine."
They all came to a stop before the pedestrian lane, waiting for the stoplight to turn green.
"We're not wearing our uniforms, so it'll be hard for people to even recognize you guys as students from class E.... let alone wonder why I'm hanging out with you," he reassured with a small smile.
"Exactly," Miki agreed before wincing when the sunlight suddenly came back. "Anyways, you guys got any place y'all want to go to? I don't like the sun..."
Maehara scoffed at her last remark. "Are you a vampire or something? Anyways, I want to go-"
"If you say Marui, I will deck you."
"Come on now. I didn't even say anything!"
"That place is on the other side of the town, you dumbass, and I'm about to die here."
"A little sunlight won't kill you!"
Nakamura just watched the two continuously bicker and turned to Chiba with a grin. "There's a cafe nearby just across the lane. Wanna go there and get some of their iced offers?"
"That works," he replied with a fairly amused smile.

DMC WEEK DAY 4: Food | Style | Music ( Nero and V )
Tumblr media
~ This one's super late because work happens. But, I hope you enjoy my fourth entry to the DMC WEEK, starring Nero and V.
~ Mentions of early loss, denial, and grief. Otherwise, this oneshot is SFW.
***
It all started when his father passed away.
Of course, being a child of only six, Nero didn't know what it meant when his mother gently told him that his father has gone to a bigger, much better place. After all, to the child, it only looked like his father was sleeping, and that he'll wake up in a few minutes. He didn't know why all the people were wearing black that day, and he never asked his mother why she was crying.
What he did ask was why they were taking his father away, locking him in a box, and putting him deep, deep, down into a hole he can't reach.
Where are you taking him? Stop it! Open the box! He can't breathe!
He could still remember those words he screamed at the people who took his pa away. He could still remember how he kicked the man who closed the lid of the casket, and he could still clearly remember how his mother took him and held him as tightly as she could as she cried.
A few days has passed and he began to notice how his classmates regarded and looked at him. They also treated him as if he was a malnourished and abandoned puppy who needed care and attention. He also noticed how his mother became more and more distant. She rarely smiled, rarely talked. Nero noticed she no longer sings, and he knew perfectly well that it was her most favorite thing to do. She was an opera singer, after all. And his father, a violinist in the orchestra who played for her concerts.
Nonetheless, Nero waited for the day when his father would return. He couldn't wait to see him play the violin once more.
But, that was twenty years ago. And the child within Nero's heart has vanished into nothingness, along with all those happy memories he spent with his beloved father.
That night when he was just coming home from one of his gigs in that old, Fortuna club where indie bands perform for exposure rather than money, Nero heard a,... rather strange tune. Small, almost drowning in all the other noises of the city, but a familiar sound, nevertheless. And it actually piqued Nero's interest. He followed the source of the sound, its familiar feeling getting stronger and stronger as it got louder by the second. And the moment he reached the origin of that sound, he saw a lone, dark haired man playing the violin in the middle of the plaza.
A skinny dark - haired man with black, smoke – like swirling tattoos all over his upper body whose only company was his pet bird perched next to an open suitcase, containing a few coins and two dollars.
Nero snickered. The way that man played his old violin,... he would never attract a large crowd looking like that! His worn - out leather goth outfit would never turn heads, at least with the younger generation, and his music was just out of style! Paganini? That's so old school! No wonder only old people cared enough to drop money into his suitcase while the majority of the people just passed him by without even a simple glance.
But, that sound,...
For a moment there, Nero thought something tugged at his heartstrings, something fleeting and evasive like a small butterfly, which was almost impossible because nothing in the world could ever make Nero soft. Not with everything he's been through since he was a child. Nothing could make Nero cry, not now and never.
But, there, just now,...
The man's accurate and yet fluid bowing technique, his melancholic expression, his stance,...
His,... music,...
All of a sudden, a face materialized in Nero's mind. A face that never haunted him, not even once. It was only for a few seconds but, it made the youth's knees wobbly. He suddenly felt weak, like his energy was sapped by an unknown creature, and he felt his sweat run cold.
No, it couldn't be. Impossible,...
Pushing his inconvenient thoughts to the back of his mind, Nero turned away and went straight back home.
The next night, the man was still there, still playing his old violin but, with a different tune. Elgar, this time.
And the moment he heard the soft melody of Elgar's music, Nero saw that face again. The face he didn't know he would see again.
Who,... is this man?
"Hey," Nero said as he walked closer towards the mysterious violinist. " ... your talent is wasted here. Go to Europe. You'd earn more there performing in concerts than here." He nodded towards the open suitcase, now only containing a few cents, which was not enough to even buy himself a proper dinner. "Or, if you want, you can join the band. You know how to use an effects rack, right?"
The man, despite stopping mid performance just to listen to Nero, didn't say any word. His green eyes glistening, his lips slightly parted, the man only smiled a bit, as if in understanding, simply nodded, and continued where he left off with his music.
Nero shook his head. "You're weird." He spoke, turned away, and chuckled as he walked away. "Suit yourself."
For the next few nights, Nero made sure to visit that same spot in the plaza to see the same mysterious man with his violin. He started to observe the man for longer periods of time, and during those moments, he found out that the man actually never left that place.
Just behind him next to the fountain were pieces of filthy cardboard boxes joined together and flattened as a makeshift bed. There was a metal cane lying in it, and a worn out black stuffed cat that was probably not black before. The man was, indeed, utterly broke and homeless, and yet, there was something in the way he moved, the way he smiled when he played the violin, and the way he finished those rather difficult pieces with such flourish, and, well, a style of his own. It's as if the man was content with his very humble way of living, even more content than Nero ever was with his own, who actually lived a wealthy life with his mother and step dad.
He realized this the next evening when he went back to that same spot and saw the man playing his instrument once more.
He,... actually looked like he wanted nothing else but to share his music with everyone. And he sure was dedicated to his talent despite those people ignoring him day by day.
It reminded Nero of him,...
You can't enjoy music if you only play for yourself, that man used to say. And the moment Nero allowed this tiny, fleeting emotional weakness, those memories of him went back to his head, one after the other, flooding his entire mind until he could see nothing but him.
Of him teaching Nero how to read basic musical notes. Of him teaching him the basics of the violin. Of him telling him amazing stories of his European travels.
Of him performing his most favorite piece in front of him and his mother,...
Of him collapsing one day and telling Nero it was nothing. Of him having difficulty getting up from his bed the next day. Of him calling him to his room that one night and telling him that he would always be his Brilliant Fantasy, and that he would live on in everyone's music,...
Of him leaving Nero alone in the world, with false hopes that he would still return...
Just then, Nero snapped from his reverie back to reality and saw the mysterious man sitting dejectedly on his makeshift bed of old cardboard boxes. He could literally feel his tears threatening to come out of his eyes at the pitiable sight and those memories combined but, he refused to let them fall. Not yet.
Instead, he went to the nearest bakery, bought a cake and a loaf of French bread, and went back to the mysterious man's spot. He knelt down, took the food from his bag, and handed it to the violinist, who looked at him with such awe, confusion, and wonder.
Nero smiled sheepishly. "Ahh, thought you might be hungry. First time I've seen you stop in the middle of a performance and slump like that."
At first, the man hesitated but, Nero's kindness and insistence on feeding him, combined with the sweet and delicious aroma of fresh bread straight out of the oven of a bake shop, has proven to be too irresistible. The man took, almost snatched, the bread from Nero's hands and started devouring it like he hasn't eaten for three days. And as he ate, Nero noticed the tears in the man's gentle green eyes.
Nero chuckled and took a water bottle from his duffel bag. He offered it to the man, who was actually on the verge of choking. He carefully placed the box of cake next to the metal cane and the filthy stuffed cat, and asked, "What's your name?"
The man voraciously gulped down the water, wiped his lips with his tattooed arm, and gestured towards his suitcase. It actually has a huge letter, "V", embossed on it, he just didn't notice it before because he only looked at its contents.
"So, you're V, huh?" Nero asked and offered his hand, which the man took a bit awkwardly. "I'm Nero. I live just two blocks away from here." The man nodded and took his hand back a bit hastily. "You, uhh, how should I say this,... "
Nero wanted to say the words but, he suddenly felt weird and awkward. He must've looked like a complete weirdo in the eyes of the passersby to suddenly start a conversation with a complete stranger but, he just couldn't contain himself.
Yes, he felt really uncomfortable, but Nero also felt the urge to just say whatever's in his mind. Like he has to unload something that’s been pushing him down for a very, very long time.
"Don't get this the wrong way but," Nero began. " ... you, ahh, reminded me of my,... father,... a lot."
There! He said the words.
And V? He only seemed interested in what Nero has to say.
"I don't know and I can't express the feeling but, the way you played the violin, it was unlike anything I've seen." Nero added, ignoring V's pet bird who started pecking away at the box of cake. "It, you, made me remember him. He left. I mean, he passed away a long time ago. And I never even got the chance to properly say goodbye." Nero whispered as he scratched the back of his head, feeling the unshed tears threatening to spill. "But, I was a kid back then, and I never even realized he's gone for good until the next few years. So, I gave up the violin, flunked my classes, assembled my own band, made my mom furious, you know the stuff. And the rest is history, I guess." Nero sighed and smiled at V as the violinist took another bite off his bread. "And I guess I was such a bitch to not admit my feelings but, I do miss him. A lot, actually. But, you made me see him. Again."
For a moment, V stared at Nero with such confusion, until the youth lightly bumped his fist against his bony arm. "So, uhh, thanks. I guess."
And with those words, Nero stood, gave a nasty glance at the bird who was happily pecking at the strawberry cake he bought for its master, and turned away. Chuckling, he confessed, "Old man even called me his Brilliant Fantasy. Don't know what the hell that means but I sure wanna hear him play the violin again." Nero turned back to V and waved. "So, I guess I'll be seeing you, then, V!"
However, before Nero could walk away, he saw this man called V standing up, holding the violin, and looking at him with such an unreadable facial expression.
And with utter determination, he moved his bow against the strings of the violin and started playing,...
... his father's most favorite piece.
That piece,...
Of course!
"You, Nero, are my Brilliant Fantasy. Remember that always, and I shall live on in people's music."
I shall live on in people's music
Nero laughed and swore under his breath, wiping away at the fresh bout of tears that finally broke through him the moment V played Hubay's masterpiece. And in that moment of musical majesty, he saw himself back again at their old living room.
And right before him stood his father instead of V, his facial features ever so gentle, his music ever so enlightening to hear.
This piece, both romantic, and passionate, and soft, and fiery at the same time, described his father so well. He was a very passionate musician, his love for the violin giving him enough strength to make his music transcend to everyone's hearts. And yet, in that strength of sheer talent, he was soft and gentle. He guided Nero with love and patience, and taught him everything he knew.
And his father called him his Brilliant Fantasy.
I shall live on in people's music.
Were the words Nero heard until the last notes of the piece.
Until he saw his father waving at him from a distance.
V,... made the impossible happen.
He saw his father again. And now,...
... he was able to properly say goodbye.
Finally.
He couldn't find V the next day, and the day after that, and the next. In fact, it's as if the man, his violin, his suitcase with the V in it, his greedy pet bird, his metal cane, his black stuffed cat, and his cardboard boxes all vanished without a trace. Maybe he started travelling on his own. Maybe he's in Europe now and doing his own concerts like what Nero suggested. Or in an emo or goth band who rocks the effects rack, or even better, the electric violin. Who knows?
All he knew was that he owed V a lot, and that he hoped to see him play the violin once more.

After tending the crops Kaoru walks back to his home inside he has an abundance of rare antiques and gifts given to him by his father just to show how much she loves him a little too much. Koaru washed his hands by the bucket full of water and sets his tools back in the box afterwards.
" It's been a while since I've check my gifts. "
Tumblr media
Koaru stares around his home only to come across a small sketch that was once given to his father, now passed onto his son for good luck and for him to reminder that no matter where he goes he will always find friends all along the way. That he has. Well only one friend that is. The picture itself is just her as a child, with a demon besides her name rose the second only friend she made aside from his mother.
" My father gave me this as a sign of good luck, she wasn't really a superstitious type but it's nice that my father has friends in the other side. Especially this rose character. I'm happy you have friends that stuck by your side. "
Tumblr media
The boy turned away from the sketch as he checks on his other items while he takes another bite of that said strange black fruit all the while he found his old wooden sword from the corner.
" Ahh, it's my wood sword the same one I use for practice. I haven't had any practice lately I've been so busy tending the farm I sometimes forget... "
He begins swinging his wooden sword all around his home, he still got all the tricks and techniques he learned from his aunty and his father.
" Aha, still got it.. "

Oh dw about it love - i've been recovering from surgery so I wasn't sure if I sent in the ask or it it was a part of an elaborate pain-medication-induced dream. Def agree with soyang because I feel that same way whenever I listen to that performance. I was expecting support but not fucking resonance on nearly every! fucking! note! (pls excuse my language), like she needed to in order to breathe. Fuck man that song touched my soul and made me walk around holding it. The percision, the ease (1/)
The agility, the clarity. Just. Fuck. As for jeonghan, I think it's a mixture of both. Even back in 17tv, he had a decent sense of rhythm and how to not hurt himself. There's a clip of Joshua teaching jeonghan choreo and jeonghan does it with better distributed strength. From what Ive seen every member's technique has gotten better, just that some of them seem to be more focused on the final shape whereas others are focused on the movement, which is why Jeonghan stands out because he (2/)Seems to have gone for both and boy does it pay off. Seungkwan too also has a good understanding of the fundamentals. Maybe because he has spent so much time with Vernon and hoshi but nevertheless he is a vocalist who is more comfortable than not with dancing. Idk of he can freestyle an eight count yet but definite improvement from where he was in adore u. As for choreo like thanks, idk if there is one bc its a mixture of many genres and styles characteristic of certain choerographers (3/).There's Paula Abdul in the transitions, Bob fosse in the staging, KK Harris in the speed and smoothness, and a little of Fred astire in the grace. Then underneath all of that is the physical movement with modern, contemporary jazz, and soft hip hop. Quite a few formally trained dancers come to mind. Victoria, Fei and Jia (formerly of miss A) Winwin (NCT) Cheng Xiao (WJSN) in traditional Chinese dance. Daisy (Momoland) Yein (Lovelyz) in ballet. Gayoung and Junyeol (Stellar) in jazz (3/)Woosung (Snuper) Kyungil (formerly of History) Hwall (The Boyz) and Momo (Twice) all did contemporary. Sinb (gfriend) was also heavily involved in the jazz dance scene in her youth. Im sure I've forgotten some people but there has been a definite increase in the number of idols with studio training. Before it used to be only Stephanie and Lee Joon. Thats not to say theyve kept up with technique but it comes through in how they prepare themselves for certain moves or phrases (5/).Foot over knee isn't ideal but a stylistic decision. If you want to see a performance taht combinds good technique with artistry, I encourage you to check out the six flying dragons stage at ultra dance festival. Banging choreo, song is a tune, and everyone does well. Believe it or not, JYP and SM actually have had some of the most well balanced groups in terms of dancing. More so in the past but pretty reliable in making sure their dancers don't get hurt because theyre doing something wrong (6)
ahhh i hope everything went well with the surgery!and yes she is an absolute queen!! technical approach + thinking about something musically + putting a lot of emotions in a song isn’t! impossible! to do! all! at once!!!ooh movement vs final shape, what’s the difference? like the transition to the move verse making sure the final pose looks nice? ooh are hoshi and vernon the better dancers in the group or? also yeah i don’t know much about the technical aspects of dancing but boo, to me, seems to at least have some control over his body when it comes to dancing? alskdjf idk what im trying to say. like idk if he’s doing things technically right, but i do like how his dancing looks like to my eyes but hooray! im glad that all the members have been improving at least in their dance! i went back and rewatched a lot of jeonghan fancams, and although i cant see anything personally in terms of what he’s doing right and what he’s doing wrong, watching him was a real pleasure!! ohhh thank you for answering the question about thanks!! i should look into those choreographers bc i quite frankly have no knowledge about them! and ahh ur kpop knowledge seems to expand vaster than mine. i do know a lot of these groups but i didn’t know a lot of them had people actually formally trained, nor that there were significantly fewer people in the past. but i feel as though bc the market just keeps getting more saturated, ur bound to find more people formally trained in dancing of some sort? and im sure having formal training is an asset when companies do pick trainees so ? and alsjdf i was about to ask that, that whether or not any of them maintained what they learned in the studio, esp since a lot of ppl become trainees at such a young age, they may not necessarily continue those more private dance lessons? im not sure how trainee life works but. i just watched that performance and it was absolutely gorgeous!!!! its really amazing when groups can come together and put together spectacular performances like that one wow that was really good...the girl in the beginning (stephanie i think?) stole the entire performance but thats just me. i couldnt leave my eyes off her she was the highlight for me. oh jyp too? im not surprised about sm since they’re pretty ok with voice technique, so it would make sense theyd be good about dance technique too, but jyp hmm thats so interesting! although i guess compared to singing, dancing is a bit more, structured in society’s eyes? im sure people realize the importance of not overexerting and damaging ur actual physical body (whereas it wouldnt be /as/ obvious with ur voice i suppose?) so maybe they realize that at jyp but laksdj im glad like the big three at the v least i think should have the money and resources to make sure their trainees and idols aren’t hurting themselves while they do their job (idk what ** is doing but you know)

Conversation
Interviewing the Flock, featuring: Riggy
Zach: What would you like me to call you?
Riggy: Riggy's fine
Zach: What are your thoughts on our Discord?
Riggy: The Discord's absolutely amazing and I'm grateful for joining it every day. I really didn't expect for it to become such a great place for emotional support, or that I would get as involved with it as I did. I haven't been in a community before where everyone is so relentlessly loving and knowing that this community is here has sometimes been the only thing keeping me going while dealing with the all nonsense with school/work/people and such. I really love the people on here, as well as being able to share what I do with everyone, and share in the love we all have for the comic itself and how it's unified everyone here.
Zach: Alright so well done on answering that, I was going to start with a quick easy response question but you handled that like a champion counselor before a Senate hearing.
Riggy: Ahh thank you, I have a lot to say about how great it is that the masses must hear haha.
Zach: They deserve a moving orator, and you have answered the summons.
Zach: So I hear you're studying Communication Design with a concentration in Illustration.
What does that mean (in non-selling-the-major-like-a-college-used-car-salesman fashion)?
Riggy: The easiest way to describe it is that I'm a graphic design major with a strong emphasis on branding and marketing, while the illustration concentration aspect of it is me taking classes that help me get better at the techniques used for illustrating, such as the life drawing class helping me get better at drawing from observation as well as learning to draw the human form and having the fundamental understanding of that.
It's also learning to use the programs that are industry-standard, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and such
Zach: A lot of "Here's how to use what you're interested in outside of more artwork, now please go out and be successful and not starve" then?
Or am I way off?
Riggy: Well, the graphic design industry is incredibly lucrative, every single company needs designers to market them, create an image to sell. Think of every professional marketing campaign you've seen, there's an entire team of people working on it. Absolut Vodka is a really good example of strong design in advertising. It's a far different beast than being, say, a studio artist trying not to starve. What I'm learning to do isn't very interpretive or abstract, it needs to be effective to get the point across and still be aesthetically appealing. It's a lot of "here are the tools, we're going to teach you how to use the tools, but you need to grow and learn to use them effectively."
There's a lot of nuance to it that you wouldn't expect, it's definitely a skillset that takes a long time to build.
Zach: You just explained in the kindest, most informative and followable way possible that I was, in fact, way off.
Zach: How do you feel you're doing?
This semester is over and you have the time to catch your breath, pad your portfolio and gauge the new year's possibilities.
Does that come with trepidation, nervous excitement, fear of the unknown, fear of the certainly known professor you're absolutely going to have in a class, or more of the same you've been feeling since you started?
Riggy: I'm doing really, really well, I don't think I could've picked a better major/career path for myself. Sometimes it takes a bit but I've really clicked with most of my classes and (fingers crossed) I'm pretty sure I got all A's again this semester. The actual grades aren't the most important, though I do need to keep scholarships, but it also means that I've gotten really good feedback and my professors have really liked my work and can see that I've been improving.
Zach: Excellent!
Riggy: For next semester, I'm a nervous person in general but in terms of schoolwork I feel completely fine, it's mostly dealing with people/other obligations I'm not excited about.
Right now I just want to work on personal projects I haven't had time for.
Zach: Lets focus in on that for the next question.
What project are you looking forward to, for example?
Riggy: Flockbook, definitely. Whether that's the guest artist submission or not, I don't know yet, but I do want to get back on it. I also have a couple animatics in the works and a poster design I want to get to. And commission work if the good people will have me haha
Zach: You like to keep a full plate, I take it?
Riggy: I get antsy if I don't have anything to do but I'm still trying to find the balance of how much I can healthily take on. Working on stuff over break is fine, my issue is balancing things during the school year because of all the obligations I need to incorporate.
Zach: That's fair.
Zach: What do you feel is the dumbest thing you've ever done?
Riggy: Well.
It was the end of a really, really long day and I was dead tired, I was changing out of my clothes to go shower, and in taking off my bra my hands fumbled with the elastic straps and I ended up accidentally slingshot-punching myself in the face. Not..my finest moment.
Zach: And what did you learn?
Riggy: 1. Get more sleep and 2. Maybe next time just unhook it.
Zach: Solid advice.
Zach: So now for a question I don't have written down to ask. Instead, I'd like to choose from a book based upon a random number.
Would you be willing to become extremely ugly physically if it meant you would live for 1,000 years at any physical age you choose?
Riggy: I wouldn't want to live for a thousand years, so I would refuse whatever power/entity's offering this tradeoff.
Zach: There's a good answer!
Zach: Who, among the Flock, would be your one phone call?
Riggy: What... kind of phone call? Death bed? Phone a friend? Or just general "I want to talk to this person for a bit."
Zach: You're in a cell. You get one phone call.
Riggy: Ohhh jail.
I know Geoff in real life, and he'd probably bail me out.
Zach: Probably closer, too.
Riggy: Yeah if we're not in school together, we're about a couple hours away.
Zach: What piece do you feel the most accomplishment over in your portfolio?
Riggy: I think the flower ladies portrait series I did for my history class, or the book cover series. The portraits I had a lot of fun actually illustrating but the book covers are more in line with what I'll probably be doing as a career and they were very well-received so I like both of them.
Zach: What would you like to go forth and do with your degree, if you could choose who would hire you and for what cause or medium?
Riggy: My ideal job is actually children's book writing and illustration, I'm very passionate about diversity, empowerment, and creating media that have strong LGBT+ characters and I would love to incorporate that into books and stories so that positive and uplifting ideas can spread more easily.
Zach: That... is really heartwarming and awesome.
Riggy: I'd also really like working as a book cover/poster designer, or for a branding company but the children's book thing is the goal.
Zach: I don't have a funny quip or anything to tie this off with, that's just a really wholesome and soothing career goal.
I hope you reach it.
Riggy: Ahhh thank you I'll keep you updated!

SasuSaku Fanfiction Presents:
Unravel Memories
Chapter 7:
Three days have past.
Since Sasuke has come back to his village, also it's been three days since Sakura sent to a S-Rank mission alone.
Naruto who's standing in front of the Past and Present kages on the Hokage's office is now raging.
"Why the hell did you send Hahahahaha Sakura alone on a S-rank mission? Are you out of your mind Baachan!?, Kakashi-sensei!?"
He yelled.
Ahh. This is troublesome.
Shikamaru, the right hand of the current Hokage muttered.
"Hey Naruto, calm down. This is a Hokage's office. And you're also yelling at the hokages. Have some respect." Shikamaru said.
"No! I can't friggin' calm down! It's been 3 days since she's been sent alone in this mission. How can I calm down!?"
The nerves on Naruto's temple popped out.
"Sakura is capable of her self. She is my Apprentice, a Strong independent kunoichi, and the one of the new Generation of Legendary sannin. She's. . Fine."
Tsunade manage to finish her words.
"I know that! But, why now? Why don't you send other Anbu? I know she's strong but why now? That Sasuke's back?"
Naruto lower his head, turning his voice low too.
"Naruto I have a confession to say. Listen clearly."
Tsunade spat out while looking at the sad expression of Naruto.
"Sakura want her memory back. She badly want it back. As I, her master. . .don't agree this decision. But knowing her, she's persistent. ." She pauses.
"And  then? You gave it to her? Her memories?" Naruto asked.
"T-That is the one I can't do. To tell you the truth, I can alter, erase and suppress memories but I can't take the memories back in its original form. . ."
Tsunade confessed.
"W-WHAT!? THAT'S ABSURD BAACHAN!?"
Naruto once again, yelled at her.
"I know. That's the consequence of using that technique. I claim it as a forbidden technique."
She said.
"And then? What is the connection of Sakura's S-rank mission on her taking her memory back?"
Naruto ask again.
"She need to. . ." Tsunade pauses ". . .Put her self in deadly situation first." She finishes her sentence.
"AND THATS THE RIDICULOUS WORDS I'VE EVER HEARD TODAY! BAACHAN WHY!?"
Naruto can't calm himself out.
"Naruto."
Kakashi called him.
Naruto relax his tense body.
"I can't stay relax here all day long, knowing that Sakura needs to put herself in danger in order to retrieve her lost memory."
"I'm going to get her back. Where is she?"
Naruto asked looking directly at the previous hokage, Tsunade.
"Ma- I give up. Go on get her. She's in Hoshigakure."
Tsunade answer.
Naruto walks toward the door, before he pause for a moment when he touch the doorknob. . . "I'm definitely going's to take her back here safe and alive. . . So are coming with me Sasuke?"
Naruto revealed Sasuke who's standing in front of the door.
He's been eavesdropping for a while.
No expression shown on Sasuke's face.
But then he let a 'hn' out of his lips.
Saying he will go too.
"Then it's decided. We're going to Hoshigakure."
Naruto said.
Little did they know, Sakura was in a brief moment of nearly dying.

I love the pjo and hoo series so much too! I've only read a few chapters of Magnus Chase and ToA, and agree about ToA being just a big fanfic (and also a plug for a lot of product placement tbh.) (1/?)
Tho I have a feeling you'd really love the Kane Chronicles! It's really close to the feel of pjo but breathes a new life into the adventure. It's easy to fall in love w/the characters & wow their powers are so cool. (They have a graphic novel for at least the first one, so that'd be cool to check out too!) Also ahh! That's so cool that you two are doing Nico & Will cosplays! I've been wanting to do a Nico cosplay for a while, tho I keep getting distracted by projects I rarely finish lol (2/?)
and yeah I've read the HP series too, but pjo holds a very dear place in my heart. On the food thing, that's fair enough, I probably couldn't pick a favorite meal, though I do enjoy tortellini! Wow I love the analogical description. I couldn't exactly put my finger on it before, but it's definitely the calm after a storm type of vibe that really makes them so good to read. (3/?)
It usually follows a pattern of "Virgil panics, Logan calms him down with logic" or "Logan panics because Emotions and Virgil uses the techniques he's learned over time from his own experiences to help Logan calm down" and everything settles into this blissful state of peace and relaxation, like the feeling when you realize your muscles have been tense all day and then you let out a long breath. Dang now I want to go read some Analogical 😅(4/4)
Holy shit, okay. Trials of Apollo is still good, don’t get me wrong, I love the plot and it is so amazing. But it still feels weird the way it’s done, it’s more like the Percy Jackson books than the Heroes of Olympus. Once you get through the first part (which is kinda difficult to stomach since it’s slow) it gets you hooked, I won’t spoil it but it is definitely interesting and not that bad of a story. (Although I’m only on the second book and even then I haven’t read it in awhile)
I’m planning on reading Magnus Chase next since I adore Norse mythology, although I do plan to read The Kane Chronicals, I haven’t heard much about it since people mainly focus on Magnus Chase and Percy Jackson (probably because I look at Percy Jackson stuff and the two of them are connected.)
And I agree, although the storyline is usually very cut and paste, it still is good. It feels nice to have everything settle, for there to be no wacky adventure or danger, but for everything to be relaxing. I hope you enjoyed the Analogical you said you might read, and I’m sorry for the late response.
