In my head The One Who Waits will always be a sphynx cat with a perpetually hateful sneer and I love him for it.
I'm still working on finalizing my lamb design and (eventually) getting around to designing the other bishops plus Aym and Baal but for now enjoy this grumpy little meow meow

Guys i know Christmas is overrated on every possible level but if at the end of december i don't see at least ONE submas reunion fanfic featuring Emmet (and possibly other characters if they're staying over) finding Ingo passed the fuck out under the damn tree during Christmas morning with maybe a little note of apology from Arceus taped to his receding hairline ass forehead i will riot
Or! He could be found under the communal (is that the right word) Nimbasa city/Gear Station tree. That would also make for some fun shenanigans i think. Imagine being a depot agent and getting a call for something weird at the christmas tree and you get there and fucking boss Ingo is just sleeping under there with a little bow on his hat
(it doesn't have to be Christmas btw. If you want to put a different holiday or celebration or tradition that's also cool christmas is just the one i celebrate so the first that came to mind. Also its the funniest to me but what do i know about other religions? Absolutely nothing so if you've got a funnier alternative go for it. It could also be and invented religion from the Pokémon world. Hmm)
Edit: by the way the same thing is happening on Akari's side. I just didn't mention it cause i was in submas brain mode and did not think about it

So confused where fandom/fic writers got this interpretation that Miles does stupid shit that doesn’t make sense or barely works out in the end or puts his friends in unnecessary danger all the time. Like in both movies the others simply underestimate him and don’t understand what Miles is doing cause he thinks like Miles, not like your everyday Spiderman. He uses his Venom Strike to throw Kingpin in the ITSV movie and literally saves Gwen and Peter because they went into battle less than ready. Then had the entire plan to lure the Spiders in ATSV, yet I keep seeing him written like he doesn’t think or gets his friends in trouble even when he understands the danger. Most of the time his different thinking has helped or led people to fix personal issues.
The first movie alone pretty much sets in stone that the exact opposite of what he wants is others to get hurt by his actions, inactions or the actions of others and trying to live up to that belief and the expectations it carries. Across the Spider-verse hammers it home with how he constantly tries to save people because that’s what he should do, rather than listen to some theory that is clearly not absolute at best and outright wrong at worst. Every fic has him being the one to cause issues and not fix them when his planning and actions literally helped save Gayatri and her father. (c’mon we know the glitching was the spot)
Yeah, I get making him stubborn or strong willed cause he doesn’t listen all the time but usually it’s for a good and valid reason, if he listened every time he was told not to, guess how many of our beloved characters would be dead?

Ok im so excited about the animated mighty nein (I will be insufferable about it) but I really wanna know how they're going to deal with Yasha. She was mind controlled like half of the series and I dont think they're just gonna cut out Ashley, does that mean we might get more mind controlled Yasha, cut aways to her, maybe even more run ins with her? Will we be getting even more pain? More Beau pining and angry??? More Jester trying to save Yasha????? Oh gosh I just realized we are gonna see healing hands animated, im not ready guys.

the idea of katase and aoki's secretary/hisho being """""friends""""" tickles my bones for a lot of reasons but esp cause i just know katase's had to dig into daigo's history cause mine prob asked her to at one point and along the way she found out about masato through a stray myspace post and after a serious Down The Rabbit Hole trip i think she should be one of five people in the entirety of japan to figure out her girlfriend's boss And Tokyo's Governor was the most Emo Boy of emo boys. and used to date the sixth chairman of the tojo clan. who also used to be the most Emo Boy of emo boys.

we talk a lot about how in s1 other people (nancy, lucas, etc.) would tell mike that he must like el romantically so he thought that he did, but have we talked about how mike waits for other people to advise him about ending his and el’s relationship? (ex. hopper in s3, will in s4) hm…

i'm not tryna start nothin' but isn't it soooo interesting that during mike's monologue the vines around eleven started getting tighter and it's really only at the end when he's urging her to fight and she looks over at max that she finally gets the strength to break free.. and isn't it sooo interesting that when she's reviving max, the memories and voice overs that play are the ones where max tells her there's more to life than stupid boys, the shopping scene where max essentially is teaching her how to be her own person ("not hopper, not mike"), and the one where she tells her they make their own rules... how it's those memories that el cherishes most, especially at this point in her journey where she sees just how dehumanized and misunderstood she's been her entire life, and how she didn't deserve that and neither does max deserve this. how it's max that needs her right now, not mike. how it's those memories that give her the strength to perform a miracle.
i just find it soooo interesting that everyone and their mother said mike's monologue was the be all end all of the season and yet... that monologue was nowhere near as moving as what happened after, not to me and clearly not to el either? 🤨 huh. but i'm the delusional one, sure.
