Something that i think ¨Alone at Sea¨ episode nailed is how people can still have feelings for or miss being with the person they had a toxic relationship with, as we see how Lapis talks about missing Jasper at one point.
I think that aspect of toxic relationships is rare to see in other animated shows? Maybe because it is uncomfortable to talk about but it is something that happens.

When Hit the Diamond first aired, I noticed how Ruby & Sapphire were flirting the whole time since they couldn’t stand being apart after being Garnet for so long. Their interactions were cute, funny, & wholesome, but it also got me wondering if Lapis & Jasper would be a negative parallel since they were fused as Malachite for a long time too.
Everyone I mentioned it to called my idea stupid & shot it down because I compared Lapis & Jasper to Ruby & Sapphire, and they said that nothing like that would ever happen

Since we didn’t get to see the Beach Summer Fun Buddies play shuffleboard in Alone at Sea, I had to change that so I commissioned it. 💙😊

Floyd in Jade’s lab SR: You suddenly got all silent and froze and it scared me. What’s wrong?
Floyd in Playful Land event: It’s creepy when Jade is quiet…
Jade may be full of nonsense 90% of the time according to Floyd, but the twins (and Azul) are always chatty with each other, especially when sharing stories of their fun experiences, so to not have his brother talking to him must be unsettling.
Famously, Floyd’s unafraid of a lot of things.
But Jade’s silence seems to genuinely scare him.

quick reminder that besides calling for a ceasefire from your political representatives, you can also tangibly help Palestinians get back online by buying them e-sims!!!
Here’s a full step process on how:
Go to Nomad (http://getnomad.app), click on the menu in the top right-hand side, and click on Shop Plans then Data.
--
2. After clicking on Data, scroll aaallll the way down. The Middle East plan is at the very bottom of the list of data plans.
--
3. After choosing the Middle East plan, choose how much you want to pay, then enter your card details etc and acknowledge everything.
You can get a $3 discount on this, by using the code "BACKPACKNOMAD" on Nomad.
--
4.Ignore the next part. You don't want to install anything. You're waiting for an email with a QR code for activation.
--
5) Screenshot the QR code and send it to someone in Gaza! How do you do that? You can now email your e-sim QR code screenshots to
[email protected] who will then distribute them to Palestinians.
--
Stay safe, stay vigilant and continue to believe in the possibility of Palestinian freedom!
