The glory of fanfiction is that anyone can create whatever story they want. They don't have to follow into the standards of literature. It's an entirely different genre and I love it. I will always defend someone's right to tell their story in whatever way they want.

However.

If the first third of a fic is high intensity, and the next third is suspenseful, its really annoying to me when the final third just tapers off with a sigh. It's your story. But oh my god please think about the arc of the story you're telling and check if its balanced. It upsets me so much. Please. I'll help. Send me a message. We'll chat. We can find a way tell your story without the plot whimpering to the end.
