This is a tough question actually because I do often struggle to see myself in media, so what tends to happen is the opposite I don't wish I were a character I'll wish a character were a bit more like me! Which leads to me projecting myself into characters ahgsghashg

However there's one thing that's easy, finding characters that give off vibes or have bodies that I envy, so I'll start with that first so we can get that out of the way and then we'll see if we can slowly progress into characters I just admire and wanna be for other reasons unrelated to my body dysmorphia

SNEASLER I NEED TO BE MORE LIKE SNEASLER, we are pretty similar already tall lanky hairy but honestly the prospect of being even more like sneasler just makes me legitimately emotional because it's just such a dream I need to become this animal

Flora the Animal Crossing Villager Ok so I love her for many reasons the obvious one is that she's pink and long and that's who I'll always strive to be but like also her name is Flora and there's this other villager named Fauna who's a deer and they match and I ship them and they remind me of me and my gf :] Flora is definitely one of my favorite villagers I never got her though :c very sad

FLUTTERGIRSHY!!! this one is definitely one I just, admire more we're getting to general admiration territory she not only looks cool but also she's the Antonymph of the internet like I wanna be the antonymph of the internet too you know? 7. Last one I can think of and definitely one I admire more than I want to be HOLLYLEAF!!!!!!!!!! BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she has TRAUMA she is FUN she DESERVES THE WORLD she KILLED A GUY she's A FANTASTIC FiGhtER AND HUNTER AND I LOVE HER forever a favorite character in warrior cats so special to me so so special she may not have had a special power but she is powerful and capable of so much and I strive to be as iconic as her in my life
