i'm watching old concert videos again and theyre all so beautiful and full of life and i wanna go deep into the woods and scream and sing along to every single song

#i talk #im so fucking sentimental rn lmao #havent been to many concerts lately bc covid and also no one i know is coming here #alt j in nov 22 was amazing and black honey last nov was so so so good #they had the Coolest 90s postpunk grunge opening act theyre also local and called anger mgmt #i especially miss the little punk shows i used to go to #ahh the video of zsk and the audience singing along with antifascista #or the green day one in 2017 where the audience sang boulevard of broken dreams and american idiot #and the fucking frank iero one where i was like 1 meter away from him i almost died #or the tiny local new wave band at a free open air concert with an audience of like 10 people and everyone was dancing and vibing #all this was prompted by listening to bohemian rhapsody and getting emotional about that bc they also played that at the green day concert #and had thousands of people sing along #im not ok but like. in a good way

attempting another raglan knitwear item [screaming and crying car crash sound effect cat yowling glass breaking]

#so far have had no luck with raglans. right now. i have the right amt of stitches just not in the right places #but its ok bc it 1 misplaced stitch which should be in the front but fsr is in the back. no harm done i can live w 1 st #im mostly also bad at being patient enough to achieve gauge #like . its ok i have a 90% accurate stitch gauge and a 115% row gauge #which like is perfectly plenty but i am gonna have to do some quick math later on bc it says to knit until it measures 12 cm #but there are still some 20 odd rows to go (with increases) and im already at 5 cm #and the gauge also said 22 rows = 10 cm so like idk i do think something's not quite right there vis a vis measurement but whatever #i just really hope it works out pls god let it work out im using such a cute yarn combo #im holding 5 strands of yarn btw which is so fucking stupid especially bc one of the yarns is one i recuperated from a sweater and split #horrendously but its SO beautiful its like a yellow cotton polyester blend (or viscose icr) and its like silky soft and gorgeous #but also entirely split into like 6 strands or smth plus the shiny strands that make it so soft keep getting caught on my dry hands #and i dont even have that dry hands but like anyway point being im giving myself a headache inducing task #and i hope it works out #i also should perhaps do a crochet raglan cause its . easier. and i care slightly less abt crochet so i wouldnt mind fucking up

1. dick was overly trusting of clowns as a child. he still holds the family record for most kidnappings in a single night

2. jason tried wearing his robin uniform as a costume. every. year.

3. jason then graduated to dressing up as his corpse and haunting (traumatizing) his brothers

4. cass always manages to scare him. no clark he does not shriek.

5. tim, duke, and steph got ‘spooky scary skeletons’ stuck in his head and martian manhunter started laughing at him in a JL meeting because of it

6. damian was followed and subsequently kidnapped by what they assumed was a group of very tall trick or treaters, but were actually just the league

7. that time of year is when jerry the turkey gets a little self aware (re: defensive). there have been incidents.

8. he walked downstairs only to be greeted with every member of his family dressed like green lantern. even alfred.

9. young justice decided to throw a giant party and to get in you had to wear the shittiest batman costume possible for their contest

10. jason won said contest. he didn’t even stay for the party, he just wanted the excuse

11. gotham rogues are drama kids and are therefore sluts for good thematic irony, so half of them do special edition attacks on halloween

12. the kids all do a candy swap at the end of the night, they invite kate and not him

13. tim has an allergy to peppermint and never seems to be aware of this, so he has to keep multiple epi pens on standby

14. he’s expected to wear slutty costumes and that’s just not worth his playboy cover

28. bruce got sick and clark walked around the watchtower in a batman costume pretending to be him for two days

29. steph and dick glued the lorax mustache to him while he was sleeping because he refused to pick a costume. it didn’t come off for a week, and lois posted an article speculating he was secretly a natural ginger.

30. all the kids stayed in once and watched ‘it’s the great pumpkin charlie brown’ instead of partying and he’s been trying to get them to do it again ever since

My Safe Foods (Under 300 Calories)

⟡Strawberries - I have always loved strawberries!! They're only 6 calories per each (large) berry. Come to think of it...why don't I go on a strawberry only diet..?

⟡Raspberries - My second favorite compared to strawberries, raspberries are super low in calories (65 per each cup). I like to eat them with a sweet fruit.

⟡Grapes - I love green grapes, they're only (about) 30 calories per 10 grapes.

⟡Tangerines - Pretty good snacks for me when I am on the go! 47 calories for these <3

⟡Cucumbers/Mini Cucumbers - I love to eat cucumbers with my main meals. I have texture issues with food sometimes so I like to put the mini ones chopped up in wraps or salads. Normal cuc has 16 calories per cup ands mini has 15 per veggie.

⟡Iceberg Lettuce - Literally the only kind of salad I will eat. I like crunchy leaves! One cup shredded is 10 calories!

⟡Tomatoes - I am hesitant to put this one on my list, bc I have never cared for them, but they're pretty good in wraps or sandwiches. A normal sized tomato is 22 calories.

⟡Skinny (brand) pasta - 9 calorie pasta! It's great but the texture reminds me of mushrooms, so if you're not into that probably steer clear. You get a decent portion for only 9 calories so it can look like you're eating a lot if people are getting suspicious.

⟡Rice Cakes (and anything similar to this) - I like to put fruit on top, haven't yet tried cottage cheese. Low cal and feels like a lot of food, 60cals (lightly salted ones).

⟡Wheat Bread - I hate white bread so I just eat wheat instead. It's about 69 calories each slice. I don't eat bread that often, and when I do it's toast lol

⟡Mini Tortillas - 90 calories per wrap and feel filling for when I'm having thoughts of binging.

⟡Raspberry Tea Drink Mix - 5 calorie drink mix that soothes cravings for high calorie juice, AND helps me drink more water. I use the crystal light mix!

⟡Mock-meats - I get pretty sick and lightheaded when I have to stand over a hot stove for long periods of time, so pre-made stuff has always been easier to cook for me. I ate a lot of fried crap, or I would wait too long and the meat would go bad. Fake meat made of tofu and other plant material is a great alternative for me. I like the taste, it lasts longer, and it still has mounds of protein. I love the shredded chicken (190 per 1/3 cup) for small wraps. I also eat the sausage links (200-ish per each link) but I usually will only eat about half. Interested in joining my discord server?
