I'm translating this novel called "la vie heureuse" by nina bouraoui, miserable 80s french teenage lesbian representation 🤘 I'm sure I'm missing a lot of nuance but it's so fun!! exhausting tho I can tell why you'd need a break esp w poetry bc it's so complex trying to preserve all the layers.. when you get back to it I bet you'll smash it tho!!

TYSMMMM that sounds awesome im sure you’re doing great!! it’s such a difficult thing but once u really start putting in the work it really is worth the payoff imo. after doing the first section i did i was so excited and happy, it’s just so rewarding and fun. i’m glad u are having fun with yours too!!! i can’t imagine tackling a novel thats so cool

not sure if this means distance or time and whether it can involve a break as long as it was in one day... one time i walked the full way across a small scottish island and back. that was nice

right now at this moment in time I WROTE A SONG!!!!!!!!!! im so fucking excited about it ahhhhh i wrote it at the start of the month and i still am so so so proud of it + ive been writing quite a lot of poetry recently and it makes me v happy bc i didn't think i could do non formulaic creative shit for a rlly long time

honestly? for school to get cancelled! and for the passage of time to suddenly be warped so that it’s like 5pm and also i don’t have school tomorrow. feelin a bit tight at the prospect of having to use my brain

you do love your friends as much as it felt like at the time you didn't misremember that. also rewatch succession

smell of the sea. looking up and feeling the sun on your face. dark grey sky with light rain specifically when leaving the cinema. birds singing and BIG VIEWS from the tops of hills where you can see all the houses in a haze
