Decadence woman tip:
Feeling good in your own skin in your own home.
Something I keep coming back to are photos of women in the 50s-70s who normalized wearing lingerie as loungewear. Somewhere in between time, we set aside lingerie for the pleasure of what men wanted to see. We stopped using it as a way to feel sexy and turned it into becoming the perfect male fantasy (I think we have Victorias Secret to thank for that).
Lately, I’ve been ordering more lace slips and pretty slippers to wear when I’m at home and I couldn’t feel more glamorous! It completely sets the tone for my days and my nights. Now when I wake up and head to my bathroom for my daily skincare regimens, seeing myself free in my femininity, I automatically feel like I have the power to take over the world.
This is an element that will take your confidence to new heights as well. Not only is it a personified action of self affirmation (“I am beautiful, I am worthy”) but finding sexiness in your own skin will set the tone for your day too.
