My primary school teacher loves Elvis Presley, and on the 25th June three years ago, she asked me to draw him for her. So I did.

I chose to draw him in one of his famous looks of the 50’s for the film Jailhouse Rock (1957). 🚨🎸

Looking back, I’m not entirely pleased with how I drew his face. If I were to do this again, I’d definitely change it. The way his eyes close looks weird to me too. His lashes are too long! I’d also make his hair a lot bigger and more like…you know…like Elvis! I do, however, like how his clothes came out and the way I coloured them in. I’m still impressed with how I managed to accurately replicate the crease and shine of his shoes. Overall, I think I did okay.
