Taste Test - Sour Apple Rings
Let me be honest here- I am probably one of the PICKIEST people I know when it comes to food and all things cannabis. That being said, www.My420Treats.com just started using a new recipe for a lot of their marijuana edibles. More specifically, they added a lot more selection that will be updated on their website in the coming days. Fortunately, I had the wonderful privilege of trying out their thc Sour Apple Rings first hand and ahead of their launch. O-M-G
To start, the texture alone left me ranting and raving. Even the regular sour rings tend to be stale 8/10 times from any local liquor store or gas station, so I was extremely surprised and happy when I popped one in my mouth and found it soft, chewy, and flavorful. I was worried that it might taste funky or too much like weed, but it didn't. It tasted the way a sour apple ring is supposed to - sweet and sour and tart. No nasty cannabis taste at all like some other edibles.
Next, came the high. Sometimes, edibles can take a good hour for me to feel. I know there is no EXACT science to it other than P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E, so I always wait the full hour before increasing my dose/portion. With My420Treats' edibles, that was NOT the case. In about 15-20 minutes, I definitely felt the high kick into effect. A few more moments later, I felt the giggles followed by the euphoric waves of relaxation, and finally pure "stonedom." Well worth it!
