Only started watching Formula 1 this year as an excuse to hang out with some friends and now unfortunately I am stuck here BUT here are the things I have learned since my induction in March/April:
Esteban Ocon: the little prince, the main character of F1, the Job, God's wettest warrior whom he gives his toughest battles, would drive over a banana peel, if he did anything bad he probably failed at doing it so it evens out, he is allowed to go a little apeshit as a treat because guaranteed it would be funny, I weep tears of relief when he is actually able to finish a race, every time it looks like he's doing good the universe corrects itself and drags him back into the mids or teaches him to be more humble by destroying his car
Yuki Tsunoda: probably raised in a gladiatorial arena birthed by Achilles, every night he watches Mad Max: Fury Road before going to sleep, he will try to join his ancestors in Valhalla at least once a race, stuck in a Sisyphean loop of waking up in the ninth circle of inferno and having to climb back out with his bare hands and never recieves any recognition for it, I want to feed him and give him shelter so that he can take a break from fighting but I am scared he will bite me
Alex Albon: my friend's well-behaved son who can do no wrong and who I hope will be a good influence on my horrible little failson. Aggressively mid but I Will take him out to McDonald's later because he is very nice and polite and doing his best and- hey! He got a point! Good job little guy
And that's it. I don't think anything else happens in this sport, right?
omg he’s so hopeless like first of all put on some sunscreen you’re all sunburned🤦🏻♀️ and like fashion wise those sunglasses don’t suit him at all because they’re too small for his face aasfjofdjo he needs us so bad it’s almost not funny anymore😂
