We made a hand-painted animation cel of TOM 3 to celebrate Cosmo Samurai AKA the first ever 2D TOM TIE. It was also the return of TOM 3 for the first time since TOM 5 came on the scene. All in all it was cool to see TOM in 2D and would love to see more. We had some fun making this but we see why cel animation is dead. The cel is a transparency, the paints are gouache and acrylic, and we used a mixture of printed lines and ink for the lines. The background is a scan from our Toonami box.
