1 Line Wednesday: So Long
From the fantasy WIP. CW: Blood, injury
Nodding, Zaya found the tear in her dress and ripped it open. The wound across her ribs still seeped, but it had partially closed on its own. "This isn't so bad, yeah. You shouldn't have let it bleed so long." She slapped her lap and stood. "I'll get water to clean you up. After, get you food and drink, get some rest and..." She shrugged. "You'll hurt, but you'll live."
"Honesty. Refreshing." Aleksani didn't look at her.
