It actually genuinely kinda feels like bioware assumed that it was very specific mechanics of early dragon age that made it good and extrapolated off that when making da:i in an attempt to improve it, when all they managed to do was turn the game into a tedious slog through unnecessarily giant maps in order to do an unnecessary amount of quests to get thru a main storyline that doesnt really feel as impending as it maybe was supposed to

I mean, I don't dislike the game itself, but I think that it really suffered from the shear size of the maps and how much stuff there was to do in between each main quest, and imo it inadvertently took away from the severity of the main storyline because of how much time you had to spend doing other stuff between main quests. I did like the weapon and armor crafting/upgrading system tho, that was cool

I had a liver ultrasound (elevated ALT) last month and now next week I’m having a chest ultrasound (need to check whether I have mitral valve prolapse or other heart problems from EDS). I'm so close to meeting the out-of-pocket maximum on my insurance that I have half a mind to ask them to ultrasound another organ, just for fun

#pretty sure I'm gonna hit the maximum bc I'm $230 away and the chest ultrasound is $170 #and I still have the genetic testing to do #my insurance resets in october I believe but I'll probably do it before then #boring text posts #medical
