I think that the school in Matilda actually became such a wholesome and bully-free space after Ms Trunchball left.

Something about how all of these kids trauma bonded to fight against a common bully and any new kids coming in would be taught very quickly that they never again would tolerate a bully in their school and that vibe would just continue, especially under the care of ms honey.

I don’t have the words atm to put this into a well thought out analysis, but I think about it a lot

idk about anyone else but for me /personally/ assigning any of the wof dragon tribes a single equivalent human culture or accent feels kind of weird or off. Unless you’re like. Specifically from that culture and know what you’re interpreting

like sure the ‘nightwings are British because they’re voiced that way in the audiobooks’ is funny at first but I once saw a post break down the accents by tribe and assign sandwings a Nigerian accent. Which IMMEDIATELY makes the fact that they’re commonly rogues and thieves in the story not a fun cowboy thing but a vaguely racist thing suggesting that all Nigerian people scam and steal, which. Given the ‘Nigerian prince’ thing is already a stereotype, well…-

and it definitely isn’t JUST that, I’m not trying to call a single person out. But these kind of 1-1 correlations lead to results like this 9/10 times and it just feels strange. Just mix stuff together. Mash ideas from different places into one. Don’t make the dragons a 1-1 parallel to a specific human culture because then any story you tell that may connect to a stereotype of that culture will come off really, really bad

Do you like rap music because it allows you to voice your opinions candidly? 

A. Yes. While I enjoy listening to rappers and hip-hop, I don't have a deep admiration for their lifestyle. I don't venture outside at night, and I don't do anything unethical (laughs). It was a live concert with an impressive formation, with each of the 16 members taking center stage. But what was the enthusiasm for your solo performance in it?

A. In that moment, I had assumed a position of leadership in a sense, but that was mostly thanks to the members, regardless of how you look at it. I couldn't be happier to know that they believe in me and give me a big push at an important time. I always give my best performance on stage because the members count on me.

A. Oh, in BOT (Battle of Tokyo), it's a little different. It's almost as if i'm putting on a persona as the character Lupus. Since I don't intend to appear as Kazuma Kawamura in BOT, you can certainly view me in a different light. This is, of course, a product of who I am as a person. I was the one who suggested a character like that wasn't so bad. In other words, I feel like I still have a sense of "that's also me," even when I am playing a role. Lupus and I share similarities, and I also possess traces of his sensibility in my personality. I sometimes wear that same cold expression on my face, and I think to myself, "That's just like me." As an artist, though, that is probably the only occasion I perform with a slightly different personality.

Watching a subtitled Rampe Film episode where they have the little coin operating vending machine - unsure of correct title, it's like the little things at grocery stores where there's little capsules and you put in a coin to get a capsule. The capsules either have "You're a winner!" or some sort of mission in them to complete.

Kaisei gets a capsule. His mission is to bring a member. He brings Zin.

Later in the episode, Itsuki gets a capsule. His mission is to bring a member. He brings Zin (apparently fresh out of the shower, thank you, Itsuki!) and Zin's like "I've already been brought here for this before." 😂

I'm like - buddy, did you not - ask? Why Itsuki needed you? Or did he tell you and you didn't want to tell him you'd already done it until after he finished his mission?
