Catching up with One Piece chapters 1004 to 1007

- Soo...I haven't watched any analysis of the Sanji and Robin scene yet, but I had heard about it and I can imagine a good bunch of people found Sanji pretty pathetic after this ...Is it pathetic to completely trust and rely on the strength of your companions when you know you have zero chance of making it on your own though? I don't think so I suppose this could just be Oda deciding that Robin finally needs a proper fight and to be considered as dangerous as she is famed to be, which is UNQUESTIONABLE But any particular reason for using Sanji in this way for it? I don't know, I am still thinking about this and may need to hear other people's opinions

- I may just being dumb or maybe there's something I forgot since I let some time pass since the last time I've been caught up with OP, but for some reason I was under the assumption that Bepo, Shachi and Penguin hadn’t arrived on Onigashima yet, with it still floating and all; well nice to catch a tiny glimpse of them!

- Marco yeeting himself on both King and Queen, now that scene was something :"

- Queen just mocks his subordinates and tells them that they’re worthless and all they're meant to do is to die, in the middle of such a big war where the numbers in each side's forces have been obsessively shown to be decisive.. Was that a smart thing to do? Really?

- ...........aaaand of course it wasn't, in fact they turn against him as fast as they can to protect Chopper when he saves them. :D

- Those panels of everyone covering their mouths and going "We're sorry!" when Chopper screams he isn't a tanuki AHAH And that beautiful monster point bitch slap <3

- Sooo basically Momo ate the artificial devil fruit made by Vegapunk using Kaido's lineage factor, and the CP0 explains it to us (highlighting more than once the fact that it was a failure)...I think this is 100% going to come up again and maybe play some part in Kaido's defeat?

- Wait a second Momo usually turns into a dragon when he's scared, right? When he transforms in Chapter 1007 he does so while talking about how much of a failure he feels like he is, and in the next handful of panels we also have the CP0 talk about a failed experiment BUT if Momo ate pretty much a genetically modified version of Kaido's fruit, and we know now that the dragon is the ultimate transformation of that fruit but not the first one (that being actually a koi fish that gets to transform into a dragon because of his strength and endurance and determination)...could that mean Momo never truly was a failure? And even if not in the way I just worded it, I feel like this may end up being some poignant symbolism at some point Idk I’m just going stream of consciousness lol

Howdy. I’m Ghost. I write fic for BNHA, specifically Rooftop Gang and EraserMic, and I’m a certified Mic stan and proud Midnight simp.

More pertinently, I’ve finally written enough that I feel justified in making one of these for easy access, so without further ado:
