Just coughed along to the beat of a song I was listening to.
New trend: Cough along to a song!
On an unrelated note, I have a fever 100.3 and had to give a math exam like that! Wonder how much marks I get...

James Roberts (born February 12, 1963) known as Ed Lover, is a rapper, actor, musician, radio personality, and former MTV VJ. He hosted “The Ed Lover Show” on SiriusXM’s old-school hip-hop station BackSpin. He hosts the morning show at classic hip-hop “104.3 Jams” WBMX in Chicago.
He was born in Brooklyn. He was part of an eccentric and deliberately enigmatic hip-hop collective called No Face. No Face debuted in 1989 on Island Records. No Face would continue recording for another five years, but it only released one album in 1990, Wake Your Daughter Up on its No Face label, which was operated as an imprint of the Rush Associated Labels division of Def Jam Recordings.
His swan song to the group and the label was his cameo appearance with partner Doctor Dré in BWP’s video of its third single, “Wanted,” from its only album, The Bytches.
He is known for saying “C’mon, son!” and is the co-host of the weekday version of MTV’s hip-hop music specialty program Yo! MTV Raps Today. On Yo! MTV Raps Today, he created his dance called the Ed Lover Dance which became somewhat popular in the 1990s and was performed to the track “The 900 Number” by DJ Mark the 45 King.
He appeared as a guest on The Beat with Ari Melber, along with Yo! MTV Raps co-host Dr. Dré. During their segment, they promoted the reboot of the show.
He appeared on the VH1 program 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders in 2002. He hosted KO Nation. He is the host of the hit TV show Hip Hop Hold ‘Em along with the self-produced web show called C’mon, Son! He was the co-host of the morning show on WWPR-FM (Power 105.1). He became the host of his show called “Friday Night Flava” on WRKS (Kiss FM) in New York City.
He became part of the Old School 100.3 FM family in Philadelphia with his own “The Ed Lover Show”. He joined 107.9 in Philadelphia on a show with Monie Love. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Hello, great artist how is your side and business? When are we going to promote your song on airplay to help you hit the chart? I will submit your song to Top 10 Florida Radio Stations To Submit Music To Get Your Music Heard On Florida Radios! Submit your music to Florida radios is a great way to get your music heard even if you don't believe it's ready for the big time just yet. Contact these FL stations... Who knows what can happen? You should submit to radio stations to get heard! Many people listen to the radio and use it as a means to search for new artists. Many well-known performers got their start when they submitted a demo to a Florida radio station that played their song. The radio station is how Lil Uzi got signed! With so many people always sending in new music, however, it might be difficult to be noticed. Here are some guidelines for submitting your music to stations in Florida to get you started. Radio is non-interactive compared to other music consumption mediums. Your song on Spotify playlists means that it can be skipped... That's the beauty of radio - you don't need to search for a good artist. Airplay is a sustainable form for an artist to get heard around the world. Top 10 Florida radio stations: WiLD 95.6 - West Palm Beach, FL Mix 100.7 - Tampa, FL 97.9 KISS FM - Jacksonville, FL Rumba 100.3 - Orlando, FL V101.5 - Jacksonville, FL Mia 94.3 - West Palm Beach, FL Y100 Miami - Miami, FL 103.5 The BEAT - Miami, FL Magic 107.7 - Orlando, FL US 103.5 - Tampa, FL When you access air-play from these stations then you're in for something good! There are lots of expose that come with this form of media. Regardless of genres (jazz, hip hop, country, etc.) Compared to the internet, an artist with radio exposure gets more notability. I will also submit to Get on Sirius XM today! This artist can parlay this into a record deal. That's why a Florida radio submission is so valuable. Do you make good music? Submit your song, if I like it then I'll add it to my Spotify playlist. I'm taking song submissions of all genres👇 I'm expecting your feedback https://www.instagram.com/p/CqzuJDrNLzs/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Tune in tomorrow morning at 8:10 am on Philly Speaks on 100.3 WRNB with me and my favorite Senator Vincent Hughes as we begin the healing process and navigate the pain of bearing witness to the horrific video that displays the beating by 5 black male officers leading to the ultimate death of another young black man, i.e. Tyre Nichols. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! We must do better!!!
Let's have the Courageous Conversation about Healing. Maintaining a Culture of Violence inside or outside of Law Enforcement is not Acceptable. RIPeaceAndPowerTyreNichols

Saint Jerome, Jusepe de Ribera , c. 1638-1640, Cleveland Museum of Art: European Painting and Sculpture
Saint Jerome (about ad 347–420) translated biblical texts into Latin. Although he sometimes appears as a scholar in his study, Ribera represents him here as a penitent who withdrew to the desert, beating his chest with a stone to emulate Christ’s suffering and contemplating a skull symbolizing human vanity. Working in Naples, Ribera enthusiastically adapted Caravaggio’s characteristic use of light and dark and naturalistic models. Size: Framed: 150 x 121.5 x 9 cm (59 1/16 x 47 13/16 x 3 9/16 in.); Unframed: 129 x 100.3 cm (50 13/16 x 39 1/2 in.) Medium: oil on canvas

Previously...
“Honey, you’re warm. You feeling okay?” Dean voiced his concern as they settled into bed a few hours later.
“Yes, babe. I’m just tired,” Y/N yawned, almost as if to prove her point.
“We’re taking your temperature,” Dean said, getting out of bed to get the thermometer.
“Dean, I think you’re overreacting a bit. I’m probably just still warm from our bath,” Y/N reasoned, but he wasn’t having any of it.
“It’s just a precaution, honey. I’m sure it’s nothing, but this virus is not like others. It moves quickly and it’s lethal.” He took a seat next to her and shoved the thermometer in her mouth before she could protest again. When the beep sounded, he removed it and checked the digital readout. “It’s 99.5, low grade. But I’m still keeping an eye on it, and you.”
“I’d expect nothing less,” Y/N yawned once more and rolled over, her eyes closing instantly. “Love you.”
“I love you, too, Y/N,” Dean echoed, crawling in beside her and pulling the blanket up to cover them both. He pulled her small frame into him, wanting, needing to keep her closer than usual.
Sleep did not come easily for Dean that night; he was worried about Y/N. Since she returned to his life, his nightmares and insomnia were few and far between, but as he lay next to her, his mind played out a thousand different scenarios where he couldn’t save her. He was hyper aware every time she moved, coughed, or even breathed heavily. He finally fell under, out of pure exhaustion, just before five in the morning, only to be plagued with nightmares of the same.
Now...
By midday, her temperature had risen to 100.3, and she was coughing regularly. After taking her next round of medication and an additional fever reducer, she was ready for a nap. Dean tucked her in, kissing her flushed cheek before pacing the library while his brother researched. With the fingers of his right hand, he continuously rubbed at his wedding band, acutely aware of each beat that pulsed through it.
Y/N’s condition worsened and, by the third day, Dean took her to the emergency room. Sam called ahead and informed the staff they were on their way. Dean broke every traffic law between the Bunker and the County Hospital. “Honey, you gotta hang on for me, okay? I need you to fight. I need you to fight for us. Honey, I love you. I know you can do this.”
“Sir, you can’t come inside,” a nurse stopped him after he gently laid Y/N on the waiting gurney.
“She’s my wife! I’m not leaving her!” Dean argued, advancing on the nurse as she attempted to hold him back.
“Sir, I’m sorry. I really am, but no one is allowed inside. I’m going to ask you a few questions, but I need you to put this mask on first, okay? We’re going to take excellent care of your wife. I promise,” the nurse vowed, taking Y/N’s medical history, including a list of all medications she was taking. Before heading back inside, the nurse gave Dean’s shoulder a reassuring pat then disappeared behind the sliding doors.
“Cas, Billie, dammit, anyone with their ears on. My wife is inside this hospital. Please keep her safe and bring her home to me,” Dean raised his face heavenward and prayed. “Please. She’s my world and I can’t live without her.”
Dean reluctantly moved the Impala to a parking spot and made himself comfortable. He may not be allowed inside, but there was no way he was leaving the hospital without his wife.
“Sam, I’m fine...Yes, I grabbed a sandwich and some water from the gas station down the street, okay, mom?...I told you, I ain’t fucking leaving without Y/N!” Dean shouted into the phone. “Yeah, I hear ya...I’ll keep you posted. Yeah, okay. Bye, Sammy.”
He knew his brother meant well, but they both knew exactly what this could mean for Y/N. She was already immune compromised because of her Multiple Sclerosis, and this virus could be fatal for her. He was getting frequent updates from the kind nurse and knew she had been placed on a ventilator when she was admitted, having difficulty breathing on her own.
With as much time as Dean had spent in this car throughout his life, this is the moment he hated the most. No cases, nothing to do, but sit and worry that he was going to lose the love of his life. He twisted the ring on his left hand repeatedly, closely monitoring the beats as they passed through it.
The shrill ringing of his phone jolted him from the restless sleep he had fallen into. He started panicking. He didn’t recognize the number but answered immediately. “Yeah?”
“Mr. Ford? This is Jocelyn with Smith County Memorial Hospital.”
Dean barely registered anything the nurse was telling him. All he could hear was his own blood rushing through his veins and all he felt was the slowing of Y/N’s heartbeat through his wedding ring.
“Mr. Ford? Are you still there, sir?” Jocelyn asked, her voice tinny through the phone. “Mr. Ford?”
“Yeah, I’m here. Just do everything you can to save her...please,” Dean begged the nurse on the other end of the line.
Dean felt like he was losing his mind. This wasn’t a fight he could prepare for, there was no battle for him to fight for her here. This was always a possibility, in the deep recesses of his mind, that she could get sick, but it was never a possibility until now. And now, he didn’t know how he could fight something he couldn’t see. How could he fight this for her? What if he couldn’t win?
“Sammy, I don’t know how to do this, man. I can’t do this without her, I don’t want to. I need her,” Dean sniffed later that night on the phone with his brother. “I don’t know how to do this without her.”
Sitting alone in the Impala, Dean was startled by a pair of headlights as they blinded him in the rearview mirror. The sound of a door closing put Dean on further alert. It wasn’t until he saw the face of his brother in the window that he breathed a sigh of relief. He opened his door, but felt like his feet were buried in concrete.
It was his little brother that pulled him to his feet, wrapping his arms around him. It wasn’t until that moment that Dean let himself let go and let the fear consume him.
Sam sat with Dean. There were no words that needed to be said, Dean was just relieved to have someone with him. It was Dean that broke the silence.
“Sammy, I-I c-can’t feel her…” he broke with a sob. Sam reached over and pulled his brother into his arms once more, feeling the sobs as they wracked his body. They both wept for Y/N.
~*~
“I’ll take it from here, Sam,” Dean stepped in front of his brother.
“Dean...”
“I said I got it, Sam!”
Sam knew when he could push his brother and now was not the time. He put his hands up and stepped away. Dean reached into Baby’s backseat and gently picked up the fragile bundle. He walked slowly with purpose through the halls of the Bunker until he reached the Infirmary. He descended the stairs one at time, careful not to jostle his precious cargo. Sam walked a few steps ahead and opened one of the doors of the cold storage. Dean stopped in his tracks as Sam slid out the steel tray.
“Leave.”
“Dean…”
“Now, Sam!”
Sam backed off and made his way up the stairs, looking down at where Dean placed Y/N’s wrapped body on the tray. He sighed heavily before walking out the door, leaving his brother alone with his wife’s body.
Dean pulled over a chair and sat down, his eyes never leaving Y/N’s wrapped body. “Honey, I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you. I’ve never been much for praying, but I prayed for you, for us. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, Y/N. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you, ya know. You saved me more times than you’ll ever know.
“Even when we were kids, you saved me from myself. From going head to head with my dad, with Bobby, hell even with you. The only person I know more stubborn than me is you. You always said it was part of your charm and you were right, Y/N. I know what you’re gonna say, so I’ll beat you to it. I know you’d want me to salt and burn your body. I know you’d want me to move on with my life, keep going, all that crap. But I don’t want to do it without you, honey. So, uh, just don’t push me, okay. I’ll get to it, but I’m gonna need some time. And, I promise, I’ll salt and burn your body myself. I’ll build your pyre, but not until your dad and Jody, and the others can be here. You deserve our family to be here, so they can say goodbye. I’m sorry you had to go through that alone, Honey. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you when you needed me the most. I’m sorry I let you down.”
Dean’s sobs echoed through the room and bounced off the cold stone walls, making their way to Sam in the library, where he sat, with a bottle and his own tears.
Did you like it? The nicest thing you can do for a writer is reblog their work and tell them, and others, how much you like it!

Ok but can we talk about Shinsou using his quirk to save Izuku? Like, he didn't even use it indirectly by controlling someone to do something to stop black whip, it was the brainwashing itself that saved Izuku!!!
I just think that after being told his whole life that his quirk is perfect for a villain, for control and manipulation, that having the chance to use his quirk to actually heal someone is so powerful. And the look on his face when he realizes he has the power to save Izuku from himself

can we talk about how fig and gorgug are literally successful rockstars in a band together and neither of them think they are actually cool and see themselves as replaceable. fig worries about gorgug leaving the band meanwhile gorgug believes he's going to be kicked out of the band. can we talk about the friendship between these two amazing kids who both have major imposter syndrome

a thing i love about dimension 20
players being teenagers: tough as nails, don’t even know how to relax/not be saving the world, have parties to mask their pain
players being adults: have a breakdown over the smallest things, constantly crying

Fresh Artist Fridays: The Authentic
PRESSURE is the song you play when you need to feel heard by your music. The Authentic’s inspiring lyrics punch you in the gut and leave you with a feeling of motivation and determination. The lyrics grab your attention from the beginning and refuse to let you go for the duration of the song. “I see today standing in my way. Trouble’s always present so I get down on my knees and pray.” The song is a candid admission of the stress we feel just trying to get through life. The Authentic raps about how he knows life won’t be easy, but he will do everything he can to provide for his family and take care of himself. PRESSURE tackles the emotions that come with feeling adversity and difficulty perfectly. It’s open about how hard it can be to feel depended on, but also makes it clear that nothing will stand in The Authentic’s way. Its music video is equally as inspiring, showing ordinary people go through life struggling but determined to make it. Check out PRESSURE, along with the rest of the songs off of The Authentic’s 2020 project, Politics, War & Religion - Mixtape Series Volume One.
The Authentic Bio
In a day and time when music is strictly about glamour and entertainment, The Authentic stands as one of the last true MC’s focused on reality lyrics, a crazy flow, a one of a kind style and the real essence of Hip Hop. With so many replicas in the industry, The Authentic’s pure passion for the music allows him to stand in a league of his own and truly fits the definition of his title. With a flow that places him in a league of his own and a sincere love for his craft, The Authentic doesn’t hold back; addressing social issues and taking direct aim at whack rappers. Through his career, The Authentic has fully utilized his diverse experiences in life to develop a strong versatile catalog; with motivational tracks that depict the streets reality like hit single “Shining Star”, up-tempo Hip Hop anthems like “Turn It Up”, and party bangers like “Oh My God”. With over 10 solid years ripping through the underground, hundreds of performances under his belt, radio appearances and five solid mixtapes with thousands of units moved; The Authentic has firmly secured his slot in the game. Working hard to build his reputation and master the craft of being an MC (Master of Ceremony), he has performed all over the country, from New York City (Nuyorican Poets Café, Revolution Bookstore), Philadelphia (The Trocadero, Love Park, and Wells Fargo Center), North Carolina (NC State University, Dorton Arena), Las Vegas (Planet Hollywood and The Bunkhouse) and many more. His diligence, determination and natural raw talent has earned him respect from some of the most reputable figures in the game, including: DJ Rashaun, DJ Scratch of The Roots Crew, DJ Touchtone, DJ NoPhrillz and has landed him on stages with superstars such as, KRS ONE, Big Daddy Kane, Naughty By Nature, Jadakiss, Styles P, Musiq Soulchild and more. With his sound, his resume and pure passion for the culture, The Authentic truly represents a lost voice in Hip Hop. In addition to being in a league of his own when it comes to lyrical content and experience; The Authentic separates himself from the pack by being more than just another artist. Over the years, he has dedicated a majority of his time off the stage to building his community and standing as a voice on various social issues. In 2011, The Authentic created an annual event called “The Authentic Minds College Fair Tour”, which hosted over 50 colleges, guest speakers and live performances held at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center located in North Philadelphia. This College Fair alone generated a wave of media buzz and lead to the interest of multiple sponsors. By establishing himself on the corporate side, The Authentic has created multiple opportunities to perform and organize entertainment events for companies and organizations. The Authentic has also served as a Community Relations Director and spokesman for various Non Profits and local movements. To him, Hip Hop is a way of life and a culture and he feels that the mic should be utilized to depict real life and to open people’s minds to a reality that most people do not understand. The Authentic’s love for Hip Hop started in the 80’s at a very early age, listening to legends such as RUN DMC, KRS ONE, LL Cool J, and witnessing local break dancing competitions and DJ battles. He became fascinated with the expressions of the culture in every aspect and embodied being a key figure to continue the movement. While growing up in South Jersey, he witnessed his mother struggle to pay the bills and embraced all of the usual elements of the hood; violence, drugs and poverty. As he adapted to his environment, he gravitated to the mic to speak on exactly what he experienced first hand and continues to do so. The Authentic hit the scene hard in the late 90’s, touring the Northeast with Wyclef Jean’s award winning group City High. Shortly after the tour, The Authentic’s group, at the time, signed a joint venture deal with a local independent label and No Limit records, which eventually fell through. Following the fallout of the deal, he quickly bounced back rocking stages with Lil’ Kim, Tracey Lee, Jackal the Bear, and landed a slot on the radio with Legendary DJ Jay Ski; all before graduating high school. By the grace of GOD, The Authentic headed to Raleigh, NC after high school to attend college and to pursue new music opportunities. With so many colleges in the area and a solid underground scene in NC, The Authentic’s career excelled all while trying to balance school work, hustling to pay tuition and his passion for Hip Hop. The Authentic hit the ground running by tearing down college talent shows and was eventually booked to open for DJ Clue, Jadakiss, Petey Pablo, Styles P and D.C., go-go music legends Backyard Band. In early 2000 The Authentic was selected to headline the CIAA Championship Game at Dorton Arena, as well as the CIAA Hip Hop Hoops Tour, which hit colleges through MD, VA and NC, including NC Central, VA State and Winston-Salem State College. This tour led to him landing a deal with an affiliate label of the NBC television network. The Authentic teamed up with Raleigh’s illest underground MC “Bubsy” to form a group called “Lock n Load”, which dropped two hit singles on the “One Hot Minute Compilation”, a collaborative effort by NC’s top artists from around the state. Both singles released received hundreds of spins from Richmond, VA to Raleigh, NC to Florence, SC. Following graduation from St. Augustine’s College with a Public Relations degree, The Authentic released his first underground project “Vision of Hope” which sold over 500 units all while teaching elementary school and creating youth outlet programs in the poverty stricken city of Henderson, NC. After putting in work in NC, The Authentic headed back home to Jersey embracing his degree, but sucked back into the traps of the hood. He continued making mixtape appearances and rocking shows all through the tri-state. Living in Trenton during one of the worst stretches of gang violence in the state’s history prompted the release of “The Line of Fire Mixtape”. It became the theme music, depicting the reality and moved over 1,500 copies on the street and in local stores. While “The Authentic’s” reputation was growing in the area, he suffered the lost of his cousin, best friend and roommate, Tone; who was shot in the back twice a few hundred yards from their home, while The Authentic was rocking his first show in NYC. After the lost of his cousin, he felt strongly about turning further away from the streets and using his voice more as a tool for awareness of the realities that the inner city youth face. From that point, he embraced his cousin’s last conversation with him, in which he reminded The Authentic that his role is to be “The Public Relations of the hood”. Following The Authentic’s explosion on the scene in Jersey, he relocated to Philadelphia to build his brand in the nation’s 5th largest city. In no time he began smashing open mics and local shows in every section of the city earning him spins and respect amongst the areas top DJ’s, such as DJ NoPhrillz, DJ Touchtone, DJ Jay Ski and DJ GregNitty. The Authentic blazed through the city with his mixtape release “Reality of it All”, followed by “Real Recognize Real” with hit single “Turn It Up”, which gained him national attention getting radio spins on FM stations from New York City, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Philly’s 100.3 The Beat. The national buzz set the tone for The Authentic’s next mixtape “Righteous Kill Mixtape Vol. 1”, packed with versatile hits and moved 5,000 units in the street with no budget. With things in motion, he continued to make appearances all through the city from Unity Day with Chaka Khan, Philly Fest with Mos Def and Musiq, The Old Skool Jam with KRS ONE and Roxanne Shante, The Rotunda, The Trocadero, and XO Lounge with Philly Swain and Reed Dollars. He headlined Philadelphia Schools Stop the Violence Tour, West Philly Day, Nicetown Day, South Philly Day and Mantua Day with Naughty by Nature. The Authentic also showed up heavy on the radar with a feature on well known Gunz n’ Butter productions DJ J-Scrilla compilation “Culture of Honor” featuring Cassidy, DipSet, Tek and Reef The Lost Cauze.
