Everyone reading this, this is for you. God appointed that you would see this post at this time. He has a message for you, please don't ignore it.
The message is this: repent of your sins, and believe in Jesus! This life will not last forever. Some day, maybe some day soon, each and every one of us will stand before the Lord to be judged. For those who repent and receive God's offer of pardon through Lord Jesus' sacrifice, they will obtain eternal life. Those who refuse the Lord Jesus and die in their sins, they will receive condemnation and everlasting punishment. Please, I beg you, don't let yourself be counted among the latter!

Romans 10:9-13

I have an interpretation of the I Forgive You that i haven't seen yet before (might've missed it in the tag, let me know) and it still works alongside all the other interpretations i've seen so bear with me:
What we see on screen is human-shades-of-grey acting crowley who's almost forgotten that he's technically a demon kissing the devout newly appointed archangel aziraphale on the lips. Crowley is so sure in his gesture, he doesn't shy away or second guess in his body movements at all, his kiss is strong and steady. Aziraphale on the other hand is floundering all over the place; he goes from surprise to shock to almost giving into the kiss when he lays his hand on crowley's back to disgust and almost pain. And then he forgives crowley for expressing his love in such a human way. And what way is that exactly? Physical passion. Lust. One of the 7 deadly sins and described as the inward sin which leads to the falling away of god (demonstrated in Romans 1:24 or also in 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8, "God has called us to be holy, not to live impure lives. Anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human rules but is rejecting God, who gives His Holy Spirit to you."). Obviously, aziraphale has dabbled in sin before, namely with gluttony, so it's not like it's an entirely new concept to him. But i assume he has never engaged in lust before. This is a new one. One, that might lead the newly appointed archangel to fall away from god (not a great look for said newly appointed archangel). So when aziraphale says "i forgive you" he's not suprised but scared as to what new emotion crowley has awoken in him (once more, see crowley being the one to introduce him to food and drink. I'm using the word introduce because i don't think crowley would deem it necessary to actually tempt aziraphale, he just wants to show him what else there is on earth). Crowley is going too fast for him again, he's trying to force a human behaviour on aziraphale and even if aziraphale has entertained the idea of kissing crowley before, acting upon that, especially in a heated moment with Bad emotions, is an entirely different calibre of sin. Crowley committed to the human bit long ago, he doesn't have any qualms concerning "acting too human," and he's a demon after all. Hence, he doesn't care for aziraphale's forgiveness. But aziraphale is not actually forgiving crowley, he's deflecting onto him and his ability to tempt, but really aziraphale is forgiving himself in an act of repentance because deep down he's annoyed that he liked this expression of physical passion, maybe even because of all the ugly and impure urges and emotions that triggered the gesture, even though it Wasn't Supposed To Happen Like That in his mind (in my opinion one of the many emotions michael sheen conveys in the trembling hand to the lip). It's such a delicious bit of internal conflict happening in aziraphale, torn between his new role as the leader of heaven, the pinnacle of principality and holiness, and the human ways crowley is so deeply and unashamedly committed to.

ASCENDING TO THE HIGHER GROUND
Higher Ground is the only place where 'Super-grow' soil exists for your spirit to grow (Mark 4: 20). It is the place where you are determined to fulfill the PURPOSE God placed you here for.  Blessings abound in that place......are you willing to go to Higher Ground?
ASCENDING TO THE HIGHER GROUND How do we find God's will for our life?
The answer is -- where His favor is, you will find His PURPOSE for your life.
"I have placed My beauty in the work of your hands, and I will establish it. My beauty is brought forth in your life when you discover and do the work I called you to do...but you must be absolutely convinced that what you are doing is what I called you to do. Uncertainty in your calling will create doubt (and in-effectiveness) in your service to Me. Trust that I will establish your work and the vision I have given you." (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
Some wonder why the implementation of their calling takes years. It is because He is fine-tuning your gifts and preparing your vineyard.
"He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." -  (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
 He will be faithful to complete in you what He promised.
"But God is faithful.....for all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." - (2 Corinthians 1:18,20)
You also must be faithful to take those steps towards the goal even when you cannot see it in front of you (Hebrews 11:1). Take a great leap of faith -- one that will challenge your normal way of thinking.
Paul said, "I have given up everything, that I might obtain that for which I was called to do, that I fulfill the ministry (purpose) on my life..." - (Philippians 3:7-8)
We occasionally experience valleys and dry places (Psalm 23:4), but He leads us to victory and fruit (John 15:16).
Get on the path He called you to and stay faithful.  Even with reservation and doubt from others -- the vision He has given you will come to pass -- you must not quit -- It is His responsibility to bring it to pass.
Once you do make the decision to come the Higher Ground, don't make the mistake of acting like it's a strain or like you have to move a stubborn mountain everyday. See it as a parade and a celebration, and it will turn into one. Attacks will come from the enemy, but the time will come when you will rise up and conquer Goliath. The dogs always bark when the parade comes through town, so keep in mind the critics will always be there.
Seek to please only God who called you, then you will have the joyful conviction that you have done all you can do (2 Timothy 4:7). If others don't see or understand your vision, love them, be patient with them.  (John 12:26). Financial provision is always provided on Higher Ground. (Philippians 4:19)
WHEN YOU'RE ON HIGHER GROUND
There will be a heavenly knowing and constant thankfulness that you're in His will (Ephesians 5:20). You will refuse to allow the enemy to rob you of His joy, no matter what circumstances you find yourself in (1 Peter 4:13). Plus (because you have weathered storms and still remained faithful), He will open doors that were previously closed. The door of deep fellowship (John 14:23) will open, and the door of guidance will seem to ease open, and frustration will seldom be experienced. (Isaiah 26:3)
Victory over self will be easier, and a fresh sensitivity to the Holy Spirit will be recognized and walked in (Romans 8:14).  Blessings will seem to be all around you because, "When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be a peace with him." (Proverbs 16:7)
On Higher Ground His love controls us (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). On Higher Ground, we do not think so much about our own needs, knowing He will take care of them.
Rise up now and get started. That's not a mountain in front of you, it's Jesus waiting for you on Higher Ground.

The Beast from the Sea
1 Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads. There was a crown on each of its horns. It had an evil name written on each head. 2 This beast looked like a leopard, with feet like a bear’s feet. It had a mouth like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast all of its power and its throne and great authority.
3 One of the heads of the beast looked as if it had been wounded and killed, but the death wound was healed. All the people in the world were amazed, and they all followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because it had given its power to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast. They asked, “Who is as powerful as the beast? Who can make war against it?”
5 The beast was allowed to boast and speak insults against God. It was allowed to use its power for 42 months. 6 The beast opened its mouth to insult God—to insult his name, the place where he lives, and all those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to make war against God’s holy people and to defeat them. It was given power over every tribe, race of people, language, and nation. 8 Everyone living on earth would worship the beast. These are all the people since the beginning of the world whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. The Lamb is the one who was killed.
9 Anyone who hears these things should listen to this:
10 Whoever is to be a prisoner, will be a prisoner. Whoever is to be killed with a sword, will be killed with a sword.
This means that God’s holy people must have patience and faith.
The Beast From the Earth
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he talked like a dragon. 12 This beast stood before the first beast and used the same power the first beast had. He used this power to make everyone living on the earth worship the first beast. The first beast was the one that had the death wound that was healed. 13 The second beast did great miracles. He even made fire come down from heaven to earth while people were watching.
14 This second beast fooled the people living on earth by using the miracles that he had been given the power to do for the first beast. He ordered people to make an idol to honor the first beast, the one that was wounded by the sword but did not die. 15 The second beast was given power to give life to the idol of the first beast. Then the idol could speak and order all those who did not worship it to be killed. 16 The second beast also forced all people, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to have a mark put on their right hand or on their forehead. 17 No one could buy or sell without this mark. (This mark is the name of the beast or the number of its name.)
18 Anyone who has understanding can find the meaning of the beast’s number. This requires wisdom. This number is the number of a man. Christ's initial warning that he gave concerning the end times was, "Be Not Deceived" . . . His foremost sign regarding the end times was of False Teachers. . . (Matthew 24:4-5; Mark 13:5-6; Luke 21:8)
It's upsetting and disappointing how many in the Body receives these who are exactly who Christ forewarns: But, the apostasy of the Church or the "great falling away" is too a sign prior to the "man of sin" (II Thessalonians 2:3-4; I Timothy 4:1; II Timothy 4:3-4). There is a direct correlation between the two.
🤔 Only with God can a man have great success but yet fail or be lost . . . Men will rally behind one who is telling them what they want or allowing them to be how they want in the name of God . . . Churches flourish like this. But, "BE NOT DECEIVED. God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).
In the Church, in most instances, when we emphatically proclaim that one can really sang or that one can really preach, what is actually being praised or being stated is that "This person can really entertain you" . . .
I just keep silent, watch, and think. In these deceptive times, "Don't be deceived." You can't follow a crowd and find God. Much love 💝
📖 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. - 2 Timothy 3:13‭-‬15

I used to be so confused by things that seemed to contradict each other in the Bible so I have always prayed for understanding on these things. One of those things was that “we are saved by faith and not by works” - yet Jesus says “if you love me, keep my commandments,” and “depart from me, I never knew you, you workers of lawlessness.” and “Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.” (Romans‬ ‭3:31‬)
I am learning over and over again that when I love truth more than I just want confirmation that what I believe to be true - God pours out understanding in abundance.
According to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 it’s clear that a “love of the truth” is strong enough to even save us from the end times lie that comes to deceive “if possible even the elect.” So this “love” of the truth is pretty important - so I always pray for it - and for a receiving heart to hear it. To “love” truth is to want it even though if it may not be what I want it to be - even if it’s something I was positive it was not.
I learned through study that there is no contradiction. Both are true....
Even when we were dead in our sins, and the worst we could ever possibly be, Jesus loved us and He died for us and He saved us. And then, because He first loved us in this profound way, we love Him as a result. When we really love Him it is a natural desire to want to know Him and follow all that the Bible encourages us to do in order to grow in that love - like abiding in His word and prayer. The more we grow, the more “righteousness” will become a fruit in our lives, as He transforms us by renewing our minds with His word.
I once had a person ask me if I’m a law-keeper and I told them that I don’t keep the law to be saved, but that I do try to keep it from a genuine desire in my heart, as a fruit. He then told me I was adding words to the Bible. Well even the Bible refers to righteousness as a fruit so he was actually taking away from the Bible. Hebrews 12:11, Philippians 1:11, Amos 6:12, Isaiah 45:8, and proverbs 12:12 are a just few that are very easily understood concerning the fruit of righteousness - so when I read that passage now where Jesus says “depart from me, I never knew you, you workers of lawlessness” - in the context of the whole chapter (Matthew 7) I see that Jesus also said “they will be known by their fruits.” Fruits is kar-pos’ (and can be deed, action, result, etc.) and is from the same word as fruits of righteousness in the above verses concerning the fruit of righteousness.
So it’s not contradictory at all. We are saved by faith and there is nothing we could ever do to be good enough to be saved - but the evidence of a transformed life is actual “transformation.” There will always be progress and a desire to change in someone who is walking with Jesus and abiding in His word. This will always brings about the fruit of righteousness - a natural overflow of following God’s word from our heart.
We cannot keep the law perfectly and that’s why Jesus died - but the bible says that through His death on the cross He has already given us all that we need for life and godliness. So we will be changing in His power and strength, and our old ways will be falling off as we put on the new man - being renewed in our minds through His word. (2 Peter 1:3, Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10, Philippians 2:13)
So by the grace of God, yes, I hope I am never guilty of lawlessness.
