hey! you probably know me as brutus from @polytherian , but, in this past life of mine, my name was khapra. (or khapula. or khaera. there were a lot of names.)

i was/am a hivewing— a wasp-like dragon originating from the book series wings of fire. this blog, inspired by other such draconic entities on this lovely website (like this post!), is meant to record what i remember about my past.

this blog was also inspired by a poll by serpentclaws that highlighted the fact that most dragons on here did not have a society/culture, which is extremely different from my past life. so, i wanted to write about it.

#.talking #it is honestly down to p4/p5 but the problem with p4 is that being the adachi stand-in is a fate worse than death. i hate that guy #and with p5 its like. well you need a particular kind of fucked up guys for palace purposes we don't have too many of those #i think my ideal is somewhere between & then also like. put some p1 in there too actually #theyve got fucked up interpersonal dynamics. theyve got good tarot card roles. theyve got a meddling god who keeps causing problems. etc et #i think having to confront the hidden/rejected self is really really good for these guys in particular though

Geological horror. You find a geode and crack it open and the crystal lining its walls is human blood that can't be genetically matched to anyone. You find a human skeleton but every one of the bones is made from rock, a rock that you know can't be whittled into those shapes. You find layers of clay and loam that sport ancient fossils at the top and the still-rotting corpses of modern animals at the bottom.
