My brother just added a thought about this creepy luz thing:

What if the creepy luz has nothing to do with bonesborough?? What if there's a darker something going on at Reality Check camp that takes the kids that are sent there and, rather than teaching then important things and fundamentally changing their core within a summer, they send replacements?? Like clones or ILLUSIONS?? If magic has existed in the human realm enough that we had witch trials, then who's to say that some kind of magical force isn't doing something like reality check camp???

Just some food for thought that was literally the only thing that I could remotely make sense of when it comes to letters and new luz in these past episodes
