You had a small collab stage with Treasure's Jihoon. It's a dance performance and while it's not that intimate, (you two just danced together, that's it.) it's enough to think that you two enjoyed the collab stage because at the end of the performance, you two looked at each other and smiled. On the backstage, Mark was watching it with arms crossed, and lips tightly sealed. The Dreamies are teasing him for being jealous even though he tries to deny it numerous times.

Huang Renjun

Your group are in the same table with Enhypen. There's so much awkwardness with the two groups, when camera suddenly shifted to you and Enhypen's Jake, making the crowd screamed. You only waved and so did Jake. THEN the camera shifted to Renjun who's staring angrily at the void. Of course, the crowd screamed again that's when Renjun noticed that the camera's on him, he quickly smiled at wave, brushing off the feeling of jealousy that he's FARRRRR away from you. When you two met, you teased Renjun for being jealous.

Lee Jeno

You and Bang Chan from Stray Kids went viral because of his manners. Your group sat in front of Stray Kids, and all of you were wearing knee-length dresses. You're the leader that's why you let your members wear the blankets provided. Bang Chan noticed it and was quick to notify the staff for another blanket, and when he received it, he gave it to you. It only took the news to be viral for Jeno to learn about it. "If only we were near you, I would've give you my coat instead," he said and you only laughed because his jealousy is showing.

Lee Donghyuck

"Was the conversation fun?" Haechan taunted when you met him backstage. You raised an eyebrow, but then remember that the camera caught you and Riize's Eunseok having a conversation. You mean no harm since you and Eunseok are under SM and was close when you two were trainees. "Take your jealousy somewhere Hyuck," you taunted back at your boyfriend, knowing how to fight back with his pettiness. In the end, Haechan apologizes and admits that he was jealous.

Na Jaemin

"Here," you turned around and saw Jaemin holding a confetti. "He didn't removed all of it," he added. You suddenly remember that Ateez Mingi removed the confetti from your hair. You noticed it and thanked him as a courtesy. "He's trying to hit on you," Jaemin pouts. You only laughed at your sulking boyfriend, hugging him and assuring him that it was nothing for him to worry about.

Zhong Chenle

The Boyz was performing and when it was Juyeon's part, it suddenly shifted to you who's clapping and singing along the song. You were surprised but tried to play it off and ignoring the camera. It did sparked rumors and gain shippers, but it did made your boyfriend jealous "It should been our performance." he said. You told him that there's nothing to be jealous about.

Park Jisung

You're the host of the show along with TXT' Soobin, the script was written with the intention of you two having a lot of interactions. So during the award show, you two interacted A LOT and it did gain a lot of reactions from the public, saying that you two had a lot of chemistry. But what's surprising was that Soobin tried to hit on you after the show. "That's nice," Jisung bitterly said as you show him the text message. "But you're taken already." He teases. "Of course I am," you smiled, giving Jisung a bear hug.

Synopsis: just a few things I think Niki would do with his partner. Aka you. (The members tease niki a lot in this story)

Niki loves when he comes back from a long day of work to you sitting on the couch in their dorm. He immediately pushes all the boys away just to give you a tight and warm hug. The rest of the group would admire their youngest member being cute with you and acting like a baby (more than usual). He loves to tease his hyungs and so he would jokingly say things like: "You won’t believe what «…» hyung said to me today!" Or "They were tired of hearing me talk about you all day."

He was so exhausted and so while all the members did their usual evening routines, you went in the kitchen with Niki to make him some food. You always bought him some of his favorite snacks when you saw him. That day you had bought him strawberries and bungeoppang and as soon as he saw those he jumped from excitement. You both sat down and your boyfriend talked about his day (including all the pranks he did on his members)

You would both then go to the bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your faces before going to bed. You helped him with his skincare and he tried helping you with yours.

You both then entered your bedroom (which was shared with a few members) sunghoon would say things like: "Carefull y/n he might crush you to death in your sleep or worse…fart in your face. I wouldn’t approach him if I was you." "Oh shut up hoon!" You responded laughing

All the members went on their phones. Sunoo was watching a series on Netflix, sunghoon was watching his personal vlog on their YouTube channel and jungwon went on weverse to chat with engenes. You and Niki decided to sleep straight away. You were the closest to the wall while he was on the edge of the bed. Niki has a habit of hugging anything while sleeping so you were like his plushy. He hugged you from behind, holding you tightly and kissing your head. You both fell asleep quickly.

The next morning, you two were still in the same position. You were the first to wake up but you didn’t want to bother your boyfriend so you grabbed your phone that was under your pillow. The other boys were starting to wake up as well and you could hear sunoo say: "Jungwon! Look how cute our baby puma is. He loves her so much it’s so beautiful." You couldn’t help but smile.

Niki woke up about 20 minutes after you did and immediately greeted you with more kisses and hugs. You cuddled all night but he still missed you. You told him about the comment sunoo said earlier and he found it funny. Saying they all secretly admired your relationship even tho they tease him all day long because of it.

You both came out of the room to all the boys together eating breakfast and watching tv. They all greeted you both kindly yet still teasing their maknae as usual. "Hey sunoo I heard you this morning saying you thought we were cute. I never knew that." You said pointing in his direction. "Well it’s true…you two are so cute together, seeing you cuddle this morning was adorable. Niki is alway so happy to be with you and I just love seeing him happy." Sunoo admitted. The rest of the members agreed and you and Niki blushed.

They all had a day off that day so you and your boyfriend spent the rest of the day watching movies, playing games together and of course pranking and teasing the members as usual (especially Jake).

For the past hours, you’d dozed off more times that you could count as your eyes tried focusing on the late night tv show playing on the screen in front of you, slowly sipping on the hot coffee you’d made for yourself a few minutes earlier— forcing yourself to drink it in hopes of it helping you stay awake longer, at least until you could see your boyfriend walk into your shared apartment from his late night work hours, safe and sound.

He’d been seriously overworking himself lately, along with the rest of his group members, spending hours upon hours just practicing the same choreographies over and over and over again, everyone going back home only when the choreographer deemed them to be coordinated and precise enough. And, aside from those long, daily, dance practices, they still had to think about joining their vocal and/or rap lessons, to tend to other work-related issues, be active on their Bubble and take care of their loved ones at the same time. You still wondered how he did it.

The sound of keys jingling from the other side of your front door made you softly smile and down the remaining coffee in one go, placing the cup on the coffeetable before getting up from the couch and quickly walking towards the door.

“Welcome back home, Innie.” you said as soon as he walked into your apartment, his eyes wide with surprise as he locked the door behind him, his heart fluttering at how soft and cuddly you looked at that moment— oversized, fluffy pajama on and a big comforter draped on your shoulder, a beautiful smile adorning your lips as a final touch.

With open arms, you walked closer to him and engulfed him in a warm hug, “Why are you awake? It’s 3am.” he tiredly mumbled in your hair while petting your head lovingly, trying with all his might to keep his frustrated tears in his eyes, not wanting to worry you.

“Have you had dinner?” you asked after a moment spent in complete silence, just relishing in each other’s warmth, and he nodded.

“Mhm, I just— I just wanna take a shower and sleep in your arms tonight… Please?” he begged, his voice cracking as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.

You frowned. It wasn't unusual for him to ask to be pampered before going to sleep, but what was unusual was for him to look this upset, this sad, this… tired. “Of course, Innie. No need to ask.” you said, soothingly rubbing his circles on his back, “Go take a hot shower, then we can cuddle and talk for as long as you want, k?” you asked with a smile, intertwining your fingers with his and dragging him to the bathroom, after helping him take off his coat and shoes, noticing he was just too tired and sore to do that on his own.

And twenty minutes later, you were laying stomach up on your shared bed, an altered Jeongin rambling on about his day with his body huddled between your legs, his arms circling your back as he buried his face in your chest, a few stray tears escaping his foxy eyes and wetting your fluffy pajama, “And then Minho yelled at us to do it again, but I was so so tired. I told him I just needed a quick break, but he just wouldn't stop screaming at us a-and—” he sniffled, tightening his grip around you as you kept running your fingers through his soft hair, letting him understand he could finally let go all the frustration that had been tormenting him these past weeks. That it was okay to cry and let it all out.

His body shook with ugly sobs and whimpers as he still tried to explain the events of the day to you, though his words were getting slurrier and slurrier by the second, and his head, which he’d previously propped up on his folded arms over your chest, kept falling to the side when he started falling asleep amid sentences.

You held back an adoring squeal as you reached for your phone on your nightstand, wanting to take a picture of fluffy, soft Jeongin, when a soft, “Y/N-nnie…?” slurred out of his lips, as he gently tugged at your right sleeve when he felt he was a second away from falling asleep. You looked him in the eyes with a smile, his foxy, dark eyes becoming heavier by the second, but he couldn't go to sleep without getting first a— “g’ night kiss?” Jeongin whispered, pointing to his pouty lips with his eyes closed.

You giggled, cupping his face with your hands and rubbing the tear stains off his cheeks, before leaning forward and softly pecking each one of them, making him blush. You then pressed your lips against his, whispering an “I love you so much.”, to which he responded with a smile and a squeeze of your waist.

“Is this going to end terribly? Dating isn’t exactly encouraged in our industry.” Y/n whispered. Seungmin smirked and pressed his forehead against yours.

“What people don’t know, won’t kill them, right?”

You giggled. “We’re gonna be in deep shit if they find out.”

“We’ll burn that bridge when we get to it.” He pulled you into him and nudged his face into your neck.

You wrapped your arms around him and played with his hair.

“I love you.” You whispered, he stiffened in your arms and the breath knocked out of you as you waited for his response.

Seungmin propped his chin up on your chest, his eyes searching yours.

“Really?” He asked, seeming more shocked than upset.

You bit your lip but nodded. He grinned and kissed you. “I love you too, Y/l/n Y/n.”

“Promise?” You giggled in between kisses.

“Forever and always.” Seungmin whispered back.

“Didn’t know you were the cheesy romantic type, Kim Seungmin.” You grin and pull him down for another kiss. As things start getting more heated, an intruder clears their throat, making their presence known.

“First of all, you two are disgustingly cute, secondly, y’all are way too young to be talking forever, and last but not least, mom says breakfast is ready.” Noel, one of your members of your group, voices from the doorway, Eve right behind her, pretending to gag before rushing off to the kitchen.

You threw a pillow at her and told her you’d come down in a second.

“We’re gonna prove them all wrong one day.” Seungmin states as he gets up and places a kiss on your head before putting his shirt on and making his way out of your room to let you get dressed.

You, Seungmin, and both of your groups had been planning this specific evening for weeks. It was the Summer Solstice, which meant it was the longest day of the year and with that comes the most daylight of the entire summer.

It was a bit of a tradition to spend the solstice out enjoying the day, attending the festivals, but this was the first year your groups were being allowed to celebrate without a bunch of managers and bodyguards watching your every move. You still had a few, but not nearly as many as typical.

Yours and Seungmin’s groups were both signed under JYP Entertainment, so you were often seen all together, having been trainees around the same time and working on a lot of the same projects. The groups had merged and all become one friend group fairly early on, so it didn’t surprise anyone when your leaders had asked to spend the solstice all together.

You and Seungmin were in charge of packing up food and drinks to survive a whole day, which left sleepy Seungmin wrapping his arms around your waist and his face nuzzling into your neck as you made everyone’s lunches.

“We should tell them.” He mumbled against your skin.

“Tell who what?” You knew exactly who he was referring to and what about, but you also knew it was too early for this conversation and avoiding it sounded like a good option.

“Everyone. About us. The company, the public, I want the whole fucking world to know you’re my girl. Our friends know, and I’m thankful for that, but I don’t want anyone else thinking they have a chance with my girl.”

One thing you learned early on in your relationship is that a tired Seungmin is a truthful one. You smiled sadly, remembering how you’ve brought this same topic up but he’s always been too scared of the company’s reaction.

“We’ll talk about this when I’m not the only thing keeping you from taking a nap on the kitchen floor.”

You giggled as Seungmin grabbed your hand and pulled you into him after spinning you out. He grabbed your waist and grinned as his eyes met yours and your chests pressed together.

“Hi.” You whisper.

“Hi.” He whispers back.

The two of you had been taking a stroll on a mostly empty street when a sudden downpour of summer rain drenched you both. You ran down the street, laughing as you went, your clothes completely soaked through and your hair in wet strands.

Coming to a stop, you look around and notice the storm drove the few people littering the area away.

“It’s just you and me out here now.” Seungmin smiles, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

“Then that means there’s no witnesses and I can do this.” you lift yourself onto your tippy toes and kiss him hard.

His lips press against yours as he deepens the kiss, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you in closer to him. You loosely drape your arms over his shoulders and tangle your hands into his wet hair.

Finally pulling away for air, he presses his forehead against yours. “I love you so much, Y/n/n.”

“I love you more, Minnie.”

“Impossible.” He gives you a shiteating grin as he kisses your nose. “Last one to the dorms is a rotten egg.”

And with that, he took off at a full sprint down the street.

“You totally cheated!” You shout as you immediately follow suit, laughing as you chase after him.

A long day of non-stop practice, feeling like you just couldn’t get any of your parts or dances right, as well as anything else that could go wrong going wrong, lead to you wrapped up in a blanket laying down on the roof of the dorms, blankly staring at the neverending sky above you.

You distantly acknowledge the sound of traffic below you, and you could hear voices coming from the cracked door of the rooftop entry, but the door was so far you couldn’t hear the conversation and thought absolutely nothing of it until someone made their way up the wobbly stairs to your safe space.

“I already told you I just wanna be left alone for a while, I need some time to think.” You mumbled, not even looking up. You didn’t have to, you’d already told everyone that tried to come talk to you to shove off at least twice.

“Well that’s no way to welcome a guest of this household. What would thy mother say?” The comforting voice of your boyfriend sounded in the quiet air.

You sat up quickly to take in his appearance, he looked like shit.

Gasping, you shot up off the ground and made your way to him, gently pulling him into a hug trying not to let your tears flow.

“What happened to you, Min?” You asked softly against his chest.

He gingerly wrapped his arms around you and held you tighter, kissing the top of your head.

“I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”

You had established early on in the relationship, when you were practically still friends with benefits, that you didn’t want to keep things from each other, and that the phrase could effectively end pretty much any argument or feud as it forces the two of you to just sit down and communicate.

You both spent the rest of the night curled up on the rooftop in a shared blanket, telling each other about your shitty days and promising to be there for each other next time, and that tomorrow would be better.

You both ended up falling asleep up there and got to wake up to a gorgeous sunrise over the cityscape.

As the sky painted from dark blue to a light orange, the two of you made your way inside and decided to make breakfast for your members before heading over to the boys dorms for the day.

Your girls were glad to see you both in better spirits than the previous evening.

“You two behave, you hear me. I don’t wanna be bailing anyone out today.” Your leader warned as she munched on some bacon.

“Yes ma’am.” Seungmin bowed before he put an arm around you and the two of you make your great escape.

The walk to the boys dorms from yours isn’t a long one, and you and Seungmin were in high spirits by the time they finally came into view.

Wandering in, Seungmin finally dropped his arm to grab drinks from the fridge.

“Aren’t you two chipper this morning,” Minho groans from his spot on the couch.

“Oh yeah. Full on balls of sunshine.” Seungmin winked at you as he passes you a drink, you grin as you clink yours against his, ready for a great day with some of your friends and the love of your life.

Minho overworks himself and that’s just how he is, you know you won’t change that but at least he has you to lean on.

This is a little glimpse into a moment with our couple from Zemblanity + Serendipity. You don’t have to read either of those first but some stuff mentioned might be otherwise confusing. 

You gently ran your fingers through his purple hair, just touching soft enough that you knew you won’t wake him. You sat on the floor of the dance room and he was asleep with his head on your lap. It had taken quite a bit of convincing to get him to at least take a break and he only agreed to take a nap when you promised that you would wake him in exactly 30 minutes. The fact that he pretty much knocked out as soon as his head touched your lap proved how tired he was. Most of the boys were tired preparing for the year end performances but Minho especially had multiple special stages as well as the group stages.

The boys and the company liked how you choreographed the stages for Kingdom and they decided to bring you on as a more full time member of the Stray Kids staff. You still had your own dance studio that you sometimes taught at but in terms of idols you were mainly working with Stray Kids. You complained that it felt a little like nepotism since you were dating Minho but the boys convinced you that they really did like the dance ideas that you presented. It did help that you had so much past experience working with Minho that the two of you pretty much understood each other with just body language. He easily picked up the dance steps and helped you in making sure the boys understood as well as gave you awesome suggestions. 

In fact, it was due to your understanding of Minho and his personality that led you to the current situation. If you were honest you thought that he was trying to do too much for the year-end shows but it wasn’t your place to tell him what he could and couldn’t do. Minho was stubborn and once he set his mind to something he would get what he wanted even if it killed him. In the morning you had been practicing the special Thunderous remix stage with all the boys and then you stayed to help Minho practice his Tiger Inside special stage. He didn’t say much but you could tell how much pressure he felt being given Taemin’s position by the little huffs he would let out if anything was less than perfect. Due to Covid, he wouldn’t get to practice with the other people involved until the day of the show so you offered to help him with spacing. It had been two hours of nonstop practicing Tiger Inside and Minho was growing more and more frustrated by the second chorus. 

“Ahhhh why can’t I time it right?” Minho nearly shouted as he slammed his thumb down on the laptop to pause the music. 

“I think we need a break Minho-ah,” you panted as you walked over to grab the water bottle. You took a long swig and then offered it to Minho who took it with a grateful smile.

“Can’t take a break, Hyunjin is going to be over soon to practice Snow Prince, you can take a break if you need.” Minho took a swig and was about to go over and press play on the laptop when you grabbed his sweaty hand. 

“Minho-ya~ if you don’t rest now, you won’t have the strength to work on Snow Prince. Innie told me that you haven’t slept enough today already. We don’t need you passing out. I’ll practice more with you tomorrow.” You did your best to pout and blink up at him in a look that you knew he found hard to say no to. 

“But it’s still not…”

“Just a one hour nap?” You pleaded as you swung his hand around a little bit. 

“No, maybe thirty minutes? Hyunjin should be arriving around then anyway,” he said with a soft sigh. You let go of his hand and went to sit down by the mirror. You patted your leg as Minho stared at you with a confused expression.

“Special reward for working so hard,” you said as Minho walked over once he realized what you wanted him to do.

“Couldn’t ask for a better reward,” he said with a smirk as he laid down and put his head on your lap.

At eight minutes before you were supposed to wake him, you heard a knock at the door and then Hyunjin popped his head through. You quickly put a finger to your lips as Hyunjin walked in. He quietly put his bag by the computer and walked over to sit by your other side. 

“Just eight more minutes then I’ll wake him so you guys can do Snow Prince,” you whispered into Hyunjin’s ear.

“How long did you manage to convince him to nap for?” He whispered back.

“Only thirty minutes, you know how he is,” you sighed softly at the peaceful look on Minho’s sleeping face. “Damn stubborn perfectionist,” you said with only fondness in your voice. 

“None of us can get him to rest like you can,” Hyunjin said with a soft smile on his face. He pulled out his phone, “let me get a photo for the group chat,” he said and you only shook your head as you let him. He clicked the camera icon a few times and then started to giggle as he showed you the photos he took. “Ah, he looks so much like a cat!” Hyunjin loudly whispered.

“He’s going to feed you tissues when he finds out you sent those photos,” you said, very much amused by Hyunjin’s little giggles.

“Why aren’t you worried about him feeding you tissues? You did let me take them?” Hyunjin asked with a fake huff.

“No, no, tissues are reserved just for you,” you stuck your tongue out at Hyunjin to make your point while he just fake huffed some more. Your phone vibrated and you looked to see that it was time to wake the sleeping cat on your lap. “Minho-ah wakey wakey, time for Snow Prince.” You gently shook him until you saw his eyes flutter open. He blinked up at you a couple of times before your words sunk in. 

“Is Hwang here?” He asked as he lightly stretched his arms out and let out a light groan. 

“Yes Hyung~ I’m here,” Hyunjin leaned his face over to look over Minho but Minho darted his hand out to push Hyunjin’s face away.

“Yah, move your head I don’t want to see your face so close when I just woke up,” Minho grumbled while Hyunjin clutched his chest in mock outrage.

“Hyung! Everyone should want to see my face always! Isn’t that right Noona?” Hyunjin asked you with his big puppy eyes.

“Don’t bother my girlfriend with your face, the only face she should constantly want to see is mine, right Jagiya?” 

You only sighed at how childish the two were being before you pushed Minho off your leg and stood up. 

“You two get to practicing while I go get you guys something to drink, and Minho don’t ask such obvious questions.” You left the room to Minho’s laugh and Hyunjin’s whining noises.

It was strange how easy it was to be with Minho after everything that had happened. Perhaps it was because you knew so much about each other. So many things changed in the few years you were apart but the fundamentals stayed the same. Minho’s favorite cafe was still the same (which you walked an extra 10 minutes to) and you ordered the blueberry shake that you knew was still his favorite drink on the menu. You also ordered Hyunjin a kiwi juice,yourself a watermelon juice and three cream puffs as a special treat. As you sat and waited for your order, you couldn’t help but look around the cafe and think of all the times the two of you used to just sit and chat about nothing and everything. He’d ask a random question like “how would you take care of me if I were a cat?” And the conversation would be a wilding mess that anyone else would have a hard time following. But even when you guys were speaking what sounded like nonsense to anyone else, you understood each other. It was a little sad to think that you two wouldn’t be able to just casually spend an afternoon at a cafe now that he was an idol, it was too risky for his career.

You pushed open the dance practice room door to see Hyunjin and Minho in the middle dancing to Snow Prince. Both looked to acknowledge your entrance but continued dancing along to the cheery beat. You set the drinks down and sat on the floor to watch them closely. The dance was fairly simple and cute and you couldn’t help but want to coo at the facial expression the boys were making. You passed him his drink and he took a long sip before he turned to address Hyunjin. “Tsk tsk Hyunjin, you have to listen closely to the song. Show me your eyes, I’ll give you my love. I’m just following along with the song,” Minho said in a very matter of fact manner. You just sighed as you handed Hyunjin his drink.

“Maybe you should show Hyunjin your love too?” You teased Minho as you took out the box with the cream puffs.

“I’m sorry,” Hyunjin immediately sensed the danger as he stood straight and bowed.

“You’re so sweaty,” you weakly complained but made no effort to move.

Yeah, they've had their fair share of those—ones that compared them to other groups, ones that perpetuated Asian stereotypes... Basically, rude interview questions were not a foreign concept to KPOP idols. So much so that they've been trained to respond to them with the most professional tone possible.

But no matter how much they've simulated any possible outcome, no amount of preparation could have led them to predict the next question:

"So Dino," the interviewer started, "what's it like to date bisexuals?"

For once, all thirteen members were silent as the twelve hyungs looked at their maknae expectantly. It was rare for a Korean idol to date, let alone date a queer person. Obviously, everyone didn't know how to respond to the question. Of course, they had accepted you for who you are and they welcomed you to their diamond family, no conditions required. A lot of Carats had shown support of Dino's relationship with you as well. But that didn't mean they could let their guard down easily. After all, Korea was still a fairly conservative country, even with the growing number of more accepting people.

S.Coups tried to catch Dino's line of sight, hoping to send a warning to meticulously choose his next words. Unfortunately, the maknae was seated closest to the interviewer with his back to the rest of his members.

Lucky for you, you were watching the interview a few weeks later on YouTube. You hit pause, dreading what he was about to say. Of course, Dino had been more than accepting of your sexuality. Sure, he had some misconceptions here and there, but he's always made it a point to consult you, which you appreciated very much.

Truth be told however, your boyfriend wasn't really... well, let's just say he had a tendency to let his passion be known, speaking from the heart of what he genuinely felt. It made you nervous. Did you really want to find out through an online magazine interview what your boyfriend really thought of you? Was he secretly threatened by every person you interacted with thinking that you could have feelings for anyone?

You knew those bisexual stereotypes weren't true for the most part. Just because you can be attracted to both genders doesn't mean you were ALWAYS attracted to both genders. I mean, heterosexuals aren't always attracted to every person of the opposite sex. Why do people think bisexuals have a higher tendency to turn out as cheaters?

You tried to squash down your internal monologue. Besides, it was counterproductive. You had no evidence that Dino would view you the same way other people would view bisexuals. You've always had conversations with him and the rest of the boys, sharing your first hand insights to them. But that didn't mean your worries were not valid.

With a deep inhale, you pressed play again, both eager and dreading to hear how your boyfriend would respond to the question.

"I don't know what you mean," Dino replied, visible confusion in his scrunched up eyebrows. "I don't have a lot of experience with dating, but I imagine it isn't really different to dating a straight person. To be honest, I don't really give much thought to it. I just wake up everyday and think, 'Wow, I'm the luckiest guy to be loved and to be in love with such an amazing person'."

Your heart melted at his response. The other members loosened a little. Your relief was short-lived when the interviewer followed up, "Doesn't it make you jealous every time y/n hangs out with someone else, whether they're a boy or girl? Don't you feel like she could start developing feelings for them?"

A lump formed in your throat. Vernon's eyes widened as he made eye contact with Joshua. S.Coups looked like he was about to fight someone. Seungkwan did his signature wide-eyes-pursed-lips-avert-gaze-from-the-tea look. Dino couldn't fake a smile anymore. Instead, his brows furrowed and his lips turned into a frown. "I don't think of it like that, and I would never think of it like that. Y/n has the right to hang out with her friends. I don't want to keep her locked up. Also, I don't think y/n's sexuality makes her more of a 'cheater'. She has the right to feel what she feels, but I'm not worried at all. She looks at me like I mean the world to her, and she means the world to me, too. She does these little things that I've come to notice over the years I've been with her. And through these actions, I know she loves me, even without saying it.

"So yeah, I wouldn't be worried about it at all. Even if you're in a relationship, it's still possible to be attracted to someone else. This also happens in straight relationships. Her being bisexual is not an exception or a red flag. Even I admit that I find someone else also attractive at times, and maybe she has, too. But at the end of the day, what matters most to me is that we choose to come home to each other. Because I love her and she's my home, and I know I'm the same for her."

You hit pause again as you wriggled on the couch. Tears threatened to form at the corner of your eyes, although this time it's from immense joy and affection. Even after all these years, he finds new ways to make you feel loved and appreciated. It's one of the many reasons why you choose to come home to him every damn time.

You hit play again, noticing a sudden shift in Dino's demeanor. "Speaking of being attracted to someone else, I suddenly remembered a funny story. Y/n and I were having a brunch date, and we were both hungover from the night before. Then all of a sudden this cute girl walks in, and we both had our attention on her. When she left, we both looked at each other and said 'Wow, she's cute' at the same time. And we both laughed at how we were both attracted to the same girl at the same time, and I felt like my hangover was cured for that day.

"And there are also times that we would want to do a dance cover of girl groups and we would argue about who would dance whose part. She would say 'I want to dance Chaewon's part because she's cute' and I would go 'But I also want to dance Chaewon's part and I also think she's cute'. It's all playful banter, of course.

"Sometimes we would even talk about girls we used to like. Other people might be jealous with those kinds of things, but I have fun bonding with her, even in moments like those. Plus it's unrealistic and hypocritical of me to expect my partner to only be attracted to one person for the rest of their life. That's what makes my relationship with her so special. She's more than my girlfriend—she's my best friend, my confidant, my home. And I don't think I could have this special type of bond with anyone else."

All the other members, including the interviewer, laughed at his little anecdote. You can't help but laugh a bit, too, remembering the times you've bonded over you're shared interests (especially in girls). You'd never thought you would find a partner as loving, trusting and understanding as Dino, and all you could do is to thank the stars and the heavens above for bringing you into each others' lives.

The members in the video returned to their chaotic behavior, teasing the maknae and being loud. The interviewer was slightly flustered, as they should be. Dino was now getting shy from the attention. He looked down with a blush, but he couldn't remove the smile from his face.

You put your phone away and ran into the bedroom where your boyfriend was scrolling through his phone on the bed. You immediately cuddled to his side, earning a soft chuckle from him.

"Dino-yaaa~" You said sweetly into his shirt. "I love you~"

"What's gotten into you?" He said as he kissed the top of your head and wrapped his arms around you, phone discarded on the bed.

"I watched your interview," you said, looking up at him with teary eyes.

"The one where they asked about my relationship with my bisexual girlfriend?"

"Mhmm," you nodded. "To be honest, I was nervous when they brought up the question, but you handled it so well."

He let out a small sigh and kissed your forehead. "That's good to hear. I really didn't know what to say because it's the first time an idol's been asked a question like that, so I just spoke from the heart."

"Do you really feel that way or did you have to embellish for the camera?"

"Everything I said is true," he said, shifting his gaze into your eyes. "I really hadn't thought much about it, though. I just knew I loved you and you loved me. I honestly got kind of mad that they had to bring you up and attack you like that. It was uncalled for. Coups-hyung told me after the interview that it was good I answered quickly or else he would have fought the interviewer."

You giggled. "I did notice."

You leaned up to give him a quick peck. He immediately responded by resting a hand behind your head, pulling you closer into the kiss.

"You have no idea how happy I am that you're my boyfriend," you mumbled into his lips. "Thank you. For everything."

He pulled away and rested his forehead on yours. "Thank you, baby. You helped me realize those things, too, you know. Thank you for being patient with me and not judging me for making mistakes along the way."

He gave you another quick peck before moving to get something from his backpack. "I just remembered," he said, "after that interview everyone was worried how you might react when it came out, so we had this made for you. It's not much, but we hope you'd like it."

He unfolded and help up a flag-sized cloth, with rose quartz on top and serenity blue on the bottom, both colors meeting in the middle with a thin lilac stripe in between them.

Dino wiped away some stray tears as he joined you wrapped under your flag, one arm wrapping around your waist. "You also mean a lot to us, baby. You're part of our family. You always take care of us, helping us grow as people. It's time for your oppas to take care of you now."

Your heart fluttered at the gesture. You kiss-attacked Dino's face all over, eliciting giggles from the both of you.

I still don't understand the obsession with Seiya. Let's just think about this situation from Usagi's perspective. Your fiance has gone to another country for school while you remain in your own country where you're just trying to get through school while something inside is telling you something is very wrong with your fiance because he's not calling. However, as if this isn't bad enough, some popular guy starts stalking you and insisting on being in a relationship with you although you already mentioned more than once you have a boyfriend, you have tried to let them off gently, but they can't seem to take the hint. To add more salt to the wound, your friends are encouraging this behavior and gaslighting you into playing along just so they can get with the guy themselves, which leads to you being humiliated and bullied. All the while, you still worry about your fiance and having the other guy continually insult him and trying convince you that he doesn't even love you anymore.

Because you know emotional abuse and gaslighting are just signs of love, right?

I have always looked at the situation from her POV ever since I watch Stars back in 2017. Especially the first episode after Mamo left and S.A.D and their two back up singers I mean the other two Starlights come to their school.

All Usagi wanted to do was try to get trough the school year without Mamo being there and be unbothered.

Also while Mina was start scheming, Mako was fangirling, Ami was secretly fangirling and Rei went from her damn school to their school just to see them after school.

Just think about the fact that she technically met them first before the four groupies I mean her friends met them.

But the way they acted toward Usagi because it because she could careless about them and the other two..

I am a 90's baby who was kid during TRL days on MTV and it was Backstreet Boys Vs.Nsync Vs. 98 Degrees. ( This was before social media was a thing)

Hell it got me into listening girl groups like Mamamoo, Red Velvet, Girls' Generation, CLC, Black Pink, After School and others

So I understand that and the fact they are 16 year old's girls because I was their age once.

Hell Naoko in the manga got them fangirling over them as well but it's a balance which the 90's anime didn't give them. They kept pushing S.A.D on her for their own personal grain and not thinking about Usagi doesn't want NOTHING to do with them.

Because this shit in that Softball episode and the Episode where S,A.D is at her house alone..

She gives two fucks that S.A.D is an Idol. All she wants is to see her damn boyfriend.

And she keep telling S.A.D over and over again." Hey I have a boyfriend." Hey I really don't vibe with you. Leave me alone." Hey We are not dating. He was a freaking 17 years old boy having a dream about marrying the girl he is in love with ,having her die on which supposed to be the happiest day of their lives and having a booming voice to telling him " Oh you need to stay away from Usagi" which in his mind translates to him thinking that he is bad news/curse to her since she already died one lifetime because of their love.

Which he would rather just put the burden of staying away from her and dealing with it on his own instead of just telling her. Which for a 17 year old boy what the fuck do you expect? He have not matured yet which the most rational thing to do was to tell her. ( But hell some adults still don't tell shit.) Rei had dreams in S about the whole world including the girls getting destroyed and haven't told a soul until Pluto told her to tell them. No one got on her withholding important information about the world to her team.

That's not forgivable but "Am I not good enough" is

When a person who made Usagi finally breaking down about missing Mamo and feeling like she can't do all this shit she is dealing with by herself into being " Hey what about me?"

I mean what about you?

Half of the season you got on her damn nerves thinking she was playing hard to get when she was constantly telling you she had a boyfriend and wasn't interested.

The rest of the season yall become friends but you thought you can " Treat her better than he can."

Then being upset that you found your princess and she's not interested in you so transfer your feelings to a person who most def not interested in you and your ass got hurt because you wouldn't simply listen to her and leave her the fuck alone.

Unrequited love is a bitch but come the fuck on.

Then it trips me out when people translates that scene to "Oh Am I not doing a good enough job to distract you from your sadness.” instead of S.A.D trying to “replace” Mamo is still making the scene about them.

Because S.A.D is still not understanding the fact that when she saw that rose, everything she held on inside the whole season come out and it was not only just about Mamo.

She have a group of friends and still feels utterly alone to the point that she didn’t even tell them she heard nothing from Mamo.

She has a guardian cat that she don’t even tell her what’s going on because she is so judgmental and still act like Usagi can’t do the work.

She misses not only Mamo that she doesn’t know what’s going on with him not retuning her calls or her letters but missing Chibiusa.

She have to deal with Outers and the Starlights bullshit and how the Outers don’t want to hang with S.A.D or be allies with the Starlights. While the Starlights don’t want S.A.D to do the same thing.

She constantly dealing with the inners shit and how they acted like groupies while using her to try to get close to S.A.D the until they found out S.A.D and Starlights identities. Which the inners are completely useless in fights she is having now.

She had to deal with S.A.D shit and not understanding that she have a boyfriend and just ask her to do things before just thinking she will automatedly do it with them.

To top that all off she got to deal with Galaxia and her people stealing people Star Seed.

All the while not having the one person that have been by her side since she become Sailor Moon. Mamoru.

No 16 year old girl should have to deal with that much shit.

And it all come ahead with her seeing that rose and think maybe just maybe he come back to her finally. That she’s not alone.

After hearing about Oshi no Ko for months, I finally got around to watching season 1/reading up to the latest chapter of the manga,,, and,,, I think I went in with my expectations too high from how much it has been hyped? I enjoyed it, but it feels like a solid 6.5/10 for me

Love Ai, love Ruby, love Aqua. I particularly enjoyed how the first arc was set up, I enjoy how Aka has handled writing characters reacting to trauma differently, and I am enjoying the current arc.

Aqua and Ruby's relationship from being doctor/patient that considered each other to be family to being reborn as twin reincarnators to finding out who the other was in the previous life? chef's kiss

Ai on the other hand is honestly one of my absolute favorites and I honestly have no words to describe how much I love how she was written. I just love her,,, so much,,, ┗( T﹏T )┛

The negative:

The Akane - Aqua - Kana love triangle, the completely random interjections of slapstick comedy, the stage play arc, the random crow girl? All felt incredibly unnecessary/take away from the story line.

It honestly feels like Aka wrote the first two arcs and the current arc and then was told by his editor that he needed to fluff the story out. To an extent, I get that he is trying to show different dark parts of show biz/level up Aqua/Ruby's career path, but it just feels so?? Rushed?? Disjointed?? A slodge to read through at times?? Like Aka couldn't decide if he wanted to write a murder mystery, a high school romance, a rise in showbiz, or a comedy, so he spins a wheel every chapter and what it lands on is what that chapter is going to have.

Kana had this fantastic character journey with starting at her lowest point in her career, to starting to realize it's ok to let her acting shine again in the shojo live action, to really starting to really shine on stage/regain her confidence as an idol?? And then comes the stage arc to reset her to zero and go through the entire character development in three panels?? And she leaves the idol group after barely being shown in it??

How the entire idol group is handled??? Is just so weird to me like they were shown on stage one (1) time and they got one (1) MV, and then the group just pretty much just?? gets shoved to the background?? Why wasn't Ruby allowed to go out and recruit members? Why was her showbiz career pretty much just a quick montage?? Why do we see Aqua interacting with the girls more than they do with each other????????? Why is Ruby rarely allowed to interact with anyone without Aqua having to introduce her to them/being the object of their discussion????

I'm just,, not happy with how the idol group was handled in general. I would have loved for the story to focus 50% on Aqua trying to find the killer and 50% on Ruby progressing through her idol career instead of focusing 90% on everyone falling in love with Aqua while he has internal monologues in the corner :| It would have been so so so much fun to see Aqua going a progressively darker route with his manipulations as a foil to his sister who is steadfast in her refusing to lie/go against her morals/actively trying to heal, but still trying to seek justice for her loved ones??

IDK and how the hunt for Aqua/Ruby's dad is being handled is kind of weird? Their dad is a serial killer, but it feels like it was forgotten about for half the series? Like Aqua realizes the killer is probably his dad, but all we are shown (outside of Aqua's thoughts) is one panel per arc showing the completed paternity tests? Like why do we never get to see Aqua in action collecting the samples, making small talk with the crew to try to find clues? Why are there no panels with reporters talking in the background about actresses going missing? If Hikaru really has been killing for what? 20ish years? (Age 11 to 33?), and his primary targets are celebrity women at the peak of their career?? Shouldn't more people?? Notice?? The very famous women missing??? Isn't this something internet forums would be eating up???? Wouldn't Miyako be reminding the girls constantly about safety if she knew celebrity women were going missing? Wouldn't she be implementing safety precautions? Why do we only find out about celebrity deaths out of nowhere?

Like Ai and Gorou's murders were really well done, but the way we find out that Taiki's parents died in a murder/suicide is just by Taiki flat out saying it? Why wasn't that mentioned earlier instead of him just telling Aqua at the very end of that stage play arc? Aqua would have absolutely seen it on the news when it happened or at the very least heard from the director he is studying under?? The crew would have been gossiping about it on set for sure??? With how big of otaku Kana and Akane are about acting, they would have known that from the get go/mentioned it to Aqua when they found out they were acting alongside Taiki?? It's kind of a big elephant in the room and somehow nobody mentions it?? Idk I felt like there could have been just much more suspense/foreshadowing of all the murders/setting up their dad as the big bad, but love triangles and slapstick comedy were the priority (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Once again, this guy likes to create chaos in his environment especially if he's bored or feels wronged

Hes not someone you want to make an enemy of, he's the type to tell all of your personal business and talk a lot of shit about his enemies/people that he feels betrayed by. He has a really childish way of reacting to betrayal, the type of guy that may leak information about a nemesis on like a private Instagram account.

He can be very petty and revengeful, the type to participate in tit for tat games with an enemy.

Ps. I keep referring to people he dislikes as intense things like enemy and nemesis, so Lee Know may hold onto strong feelings of disdain for ppl. He doesnt get over his hate for certain ppl and may go out of his way to show how much he despises his opposition

He has lazy tendencies, like not wanting to clean up after himself and he may be one of the members on the group that has to be constantly told to clean up better or to help contribute to the cleaning of the dorms(You guys know how easy it is to get into arguments about cleanliness and he may get into a lot of vocal fights about this issue)

He's quite an emotionally unstable person, he can randomly start crying about the smallest things or even have a cold, impassive emotional approach to things he maybe should feel more for

He also can be emotionally manipulative with ppl, using sadness and depression to make ppl pity him and want to help him

He can be a selfish and self centered guy, very possessive of his things as well and doesn't like to share. (Reminds me of a kid at a play date that makes a little girl cry because he snatched his toy out of her hand, like "this is mine, go get your own")

He has unresolved mommy issues that creates problems for him now and in the future

He can be a temperamental drunk, hes the type to get shit faced and start fights with ppl or be antagonistic

He doesnt care much about politics or world issues, not very up to date on things happening even in his own country

He can play mind games with lovers, making them think that hes looking to get married to them and settle down, but hes really is just looking for fun, temporary paradise. He may indulge in sex with many different ppl, I see foreigners as well, but once hes done then he moves on

He's a guy that's very intune with his dark side, dark thoughts so hes not afraid to face the deep, depressive side of life. Like, you can tell him about the most traumatic thing that's ever happened to you and he wouldn't be surprised, or like the type to walk on egg shells around you, he would be mature and deep with talking about these types of dark things. Won't shy away or feel burdened

Hes a really authentic guy, what you guys see on camera is the real Lee know, he may even be the type to lowkey tell fans when hes in a relationship. Like, if fans would ask him to marry them he would reply "that opportunity is taken" and say something sly of that sort "jokingly". And fans might use that as a shipping tool with another member, "of course he's talking about his husband Han" but in reality hes LITERALLY telling you guys hes taken.

I also see that, fans or just ppl in general try to take a lot of what lee know says as jokes (especially if it's too dark and doesn't fit the idol image they have for him) but he really means what he says. Let's just say, rarely anything said by him is just a joke so pay more attention to what he says bc theres truth in his words (That's probably why he rarely does solo vlives or they just dont last too long, company rather he doesnt speak too much truth)

Hes a very goal oriented guy, he knows where he wants to go/be in life and isnt letting anyone get in between him and his bag. He probably has plans for success whether or not hes in Stray kids

He may be a great cook or baker, he started like baking from a therapeutic sense, and now he may have a good relationship with food and a kitchen. I sense hes a better baker than anything, makes really good pastries

As a lover, hes spontaneous and wild. Hes definitely a good time and can feel compelled to get up to all kinds of crazy adventures with his lover. In committed relationships, he can provide stability and doesnt run away when things get hard. Also, hes a charming, chivalrous guy and gives his partner his full attention, may stare at them a lot but it's not too creepy, it generally makes his partners feel like hes into them.

Kimi no Hana ni Naru: Episode 1 Review (Spoilers Ahead!)

This is going to make my tumblr a little bit messy, but to spice things up a little, let me do a review of Kimi no Hana ni Naru's episode 1. Be wary that there are some plot details that i'll purposely leave out, so as not to spoil it much.

Kimi no Hana ni Naru is my first ever Dorama that i'm watching, by the way, but as someone who has finally lost their J-Drama virginity (yes), the first episode is not "heavy" on the plot, it gives you a nice introduction about 8LOOM, Asuka Nakamachi, and many other characters.

Now let's start with the prologue.

The first scenes is about how a high-school student, Dan Sagami (played by Aruto Hiden Fumiya Takahashi), met his temporary homeroom teacher, Asuka Nakamachi (Tsubasa Honda). We later discover that, in fact, Dan would go to his empty classroom late at night to record demos, Asuka, of course, would be the one who would encourage him to pursue his interest in music. Cliche, right?

How the fuck did he got there late at night, really?

Flashforward to 2022 (i think?). Asuka is now making a living helping her sister and her sister's fiancee operate a Bento shop, she later on have to see an absolutely horrendous sight of her sister's fiancee proposing in front of her.

An absolutely unrealistic portrayal of a sisterly relationship.

Asuka, of course, doesn't want to be a parasite that lives off her sister's income, so she decided to apply as the house matron of some sort. Enter Kenji, the manager of the house, who later told her that the house is occupied by a boygroup called 8LOOM, originally debuting with much fanfare, occupying #1 on Line Music, Spotify, Oricon, Billboard Japan, etc, etc. after losing their eighth member, however, the group is now stuck in nugu-dom.

Don't ever think of shipping them.

Later on, of course, Asuka finally met her old student, Dan, who after graduating from high school, turns out to have joined 8LOOM. While Asuka is ecstatic, to her sadness, however, Dan has turned into Ark One a shell of his former self, cynical, brimming with jealousy over more famous labelmate CHAYNEY (played by INI members), and proclaiming that his teammate's laziness are the reason why they end up in nugudom. Yukiya Furumachi (played by Keito Tsuna), in turn, retorted, saying that Dan was too harsh on his groupmates, leading to Dan storming out and of course, Asuka having to give Dan a good pep talk.

Homosexual tension between Aruto and Melto? it's more likely than you think.

Overall, this first episode has great pacing and allows for a nice introductory message of sort to the viewers about 8LOOM, The Dan-Asuka dynamic, and of course, the harsh, cut-throat entertainment world.

Tsubasa Honda's acting, at first watch, felt bad, but, after some rewatch, i have come to the verdict that her acting was okay, though she can be unrealistically loud at times. However, she definitely shined in some more subdued moments like where she gave a pep talk to Dan, which made me think that Tsubasa simply is miscast, she is not meant for the happy-go-lucky, loud kind of characters like Asuka.

Fumiya Takahashi is definitely the star of the show, how he portrayed the ever-cynical, yet tsundere Dan Sagami felt convincing, even if there are some very minimal moments where i think that his acting was stiff. It was clear that he is already tired about how the entertainment world works, but he definitely still cares for his groupmates, in his own kind of way.

In my opinion, the first episode is definitely not perfect, but if you're a fan of idol culture, then you'll definitely enjoy this dorama (though Asuka's loudness can threw you off).

Author’s Note: Bonus second entry for the first prompt. It’s been a hectic month already, so all I’ve been able to do is post to the Discord channel. Thus, please forgive the burst of posts... I’ve still managed to find scraps of time to types stuff out on my phone or tablet.

Mia opened her eyes.

Wow… what a sight. Two lovely women laying beside her. Lanzhu and Shioriko. Her girlfriends. The two she loved most.

She could write a song about it. Maybe a play if she included everything leading up to it. With some artistic flourishes of course; the stage demanded its share of melodramatics.

She could see it now. The prima donna singing about being dragged around the world by a bossy friend to open a business. A large group song about a rivalry between them and another business nearby. A smaller group song where members from each side find peace in a neutral area.. The prima donna getting a solo about falling in love with the bossy friend despite her already being in a relationship, with lyrics implying she had fallen for her girlfriend as well. Then a grand finale with the couple accepting her into the fold.

A play based on actual events. Mia chuckled to herself.

But would the audience believe it?

Honestly, it still felt a little unbelievable.

For a moment, Mia wondered if she should include some of the more… supernatural aspects of the events. Would that bolster the audience's suspension of belief? If they could stretch their imaginations far enough to include some mythical madness, they could deal with some of the seemingly miraculous events among the characters. So long as everything fit for how the characters were presented, it would be fine, right? After all, the theater up the street constantly included supernatural shenanigans in their plays, and their audiences loved it.

But a jackalope accepted into a relationship with a vampire and an angel? That… may still be too unbelievable. And yet, here they were.

Lanzhu had wasted no time in inviting, or rather insisting that Mia move in with her and Shioriko. Literally the afternoon after Mia had caught Shiroriko drinking Lanzhu's blood, Lanzhu told Mia she had hired movers for her. Mia was to pack what she needed for the night and they would take care of the rest the next day.

She was as bossy and pushy as ever, though Mia knew it was just how Lanzhu dealt with awkward social interactions. And under different circumstances, Mia may have resisted, but she couldn’t see a reason to, as it was something she knew she wanted.

Movement caught her eye.

Light poured through the window and crept along the floor.

Daybreak. Not Mia’s favorite time, but if this was her new morning view, perhaps she could get used to it.

But then, she felt herself frown as her gaze found Shioriko…

Wait… Sunlight. Shioriko was a vampire.

Damnit!

Mia changed into her jackalope form and hopped over her girlfriends. From the edge of the bed, she launched herself toward the window. In midair, she shifted back, grabbed the draw rod and yanked.

“Ehhh?” Lanzhu yawned. “Mia? What’s with the racket?”

“Sun… Shioriko…”

Lanzhu laughed.

Huh?

“Nnn…” Shioriko stirred. “What’s…?”

“Mia just saved your life.” Lanzhu said.

“…?”

“Why would you be so careless as to leave the curtains open like that?” Mia accused.

“…?”

“Sun. Vampire.”

Shioriko yawned. “I’m not vulnerable to that anymore.”

“Ever since she started drinking my angelic blood.” Lanzhe declared proudly. “And really, you’ve seen her during the day before.”

Mia flushed as she remembered. Geez… she really didn’t think clearly this early in the morning…

“But thank you, Mia.” Shioriko said, rubbing her eyes. “Your thoughtfulness is appreciated.”

“Now come back here.” Lanzhu slid away from Shioriko and patted the area between them. “We don’t have to be up for a little while yet.”

Still embarrassed, Mia moved to take the offered spot. Shioriko and Lanzhu snuggled in once she was settled, the former back asleep instantly while the latter contented in playing with Mia's hair.

Mia allowed herself to enjoy the affection. Perhaps some other day, she could break out her other concerns. For now…

I had expected to be called over to the Nu’est dorm sooner than I was. If anything, I was expecting to get a call letting me know Ren had left and if I had seen him. But I didn’t get any call like that. I suppose though, I couldn’t hold it against the boys. They just lost a vital member of the group. Granted, they all are vital members; still, Ren had been important. The cute little maknaes of groups are what really keep a band together. To lose the original and be replaced, it just never worked out. The boys needed a chance to cool off, if the angry texts responding to the picture I sent were anything to go by. But the culprit was labeled clearly.

Baekho that idiot!

When the call finally came a few days later, I went over as quickly as could. Of course, it was later in the evening because of my scheduling, but that was fine. I knew they would be waiting for me. The desperate pleas from JR to come save him from the other angry members told me so. I was braced from screaming and shouting when the door was opened. I had not expected to nearly be hit by a flying shoe. JR pushed me down as the shoe flew out of the apartment and hit the wall across the hall. I stared at him, eyes wide with terror.

“This is why I called.” He said. JR, after his incident of being homophobic had actually gotten better. I heard that he apologized to Minhyun for what he had said and how he acted and shortly after I had received my own apology. I forgave him quicker than Minhyun had. I had no ill feelings towards JR, the other acted like I knew many people would and like I had told them, he did eventually come around.

Reaching around, I grabbed the abused shoe and brought it in with me. I sat it down next to the pile of shoes and took mine off before walking in. “So I take it, they’re still not happy?” I asked.

“They’ve been trying for two days now to show Baekho why it was exactly his fault, but he just doesn’t seem to get it. He usually runs off to go be with Uee and After School noonas to cry to them about the problem. But they all have schedules today, so he can’t use that excuse and they refuse to let him leave the dorm. He may look strong, but with Aron and Minhyun teaming up…they’re stronger.” JR explained. He stopped at the entrance to the living room. He motioned for me to stop as well and he peeked around the corner.

“Okay, I have no idea where they went.” He said and stepped in slowly. He jumped as he heard something hit the wall to our left.  We turned and stared in shock. Boys rough housed, that I knew. I’ve caught Kouji and Kai play fighting all the time in our dorm, but this…this looked like they were trying to kill Baekho. Well, it looked like Aron was trying to kill him, strangle him to be precise and Minhyun was aiding in the process by pinning the other down.

“Children!” I shouted. “Enough!”

The three looked at me. Aron gave me a look that dared me to try and stop him. I shot him back my own glare and took a few steps forward. He released Baekho then and got up, Minhyun following. The white tiger rolled over onto his stomach, coughing and crawled towards for safety.

“H-Hyung! T-Thank you.” He said between coughs. I looked down at him and glared, upset myself. He was the reason I was here, the reason why the two were trying to kill him. “JR-shii…take Minhyun and Aron out for something to eat.” I said.

“No way! We still have a bone to pick with this asshole.” Aron said, cracking his knuckles. I shot him another glare and he backed down. Reaching into my back pocket, I pulled out my wallet and opened. Grabbing my card, I held it out to JR.

“Don’t go crazy.” I reminded him. He nodded and looked to the other members then. “Go.” I told them. It took them a moment, but they walked past. I could feel the anger radiating off them as they headed for the front door. It took a few moments, but the door opened and closed and Baekho and I were finally alone.

“Thank god.” He said as he climbed to his feet, rubbing his sore neck. Turning to him, I sighed, shaking my head.

“Let’s go.” I told him and led him into the kitchen.  Sitting him at the table, I searched through the cabinets until I found a Ziploc bag. Making my way to the fridge, I opened the top door and filled the bag with some ice before sealing it. Walking back to him, I held it out to him so he could put it on his neck and keep the swelling and bruising minimal.

“I honestly thought I was going to die.” He said, watching me as I sat down.

“To be honest, I think you should.” I told him and frowned. His expression was that of shock. It seemed the information still hadn’t sunk in. Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out my phone and brought up the picture of Ren. “You did this Baekho.” I said.

“How many times am I going to see that picture? I didn’t do that.” Baekho protested. I slammed my free hand down on the table.

“Listen to me Kang Dongho.” I hissed out. “Are you listening?” I asked. With wide eyes, he nodded. “Good.” I held up the phone again and showed him the picture again. “Take a good fucking look at this face Baekho. The tear stains, do you see them?” I asked. “You caused them. They’re from you. His decision to leave is because of you and your behavior. Do you know why? And before you answer that question, I want you to think long and hard Baekho. Take as long as you need to reply. I have all night, but think on your words before you answer.” I warned him.

Silence fell between us and I could practically see the wheels in Baekho’s mind spinning as he thought on my question and how to work his answer carefully. Though at this point I don’t think there is anything he could possibly say that could get him out of this situation.

“I…” he paused and sighed. “They said it’s because of me. Everyone said I made him cry, but I don’t know why. Honestly.” He answered. I looked him dead in the eyes and for the first time I actually took in how scared the other looked, how upset the other was about this. Ren told me that Baekho didn’t try to stop him, but could it have been because he was just as shocked as the other’s by Ren’s sudden departure? The look in his eyes, he looked distraught, out of sorts. Was this all a façade? Was this a mask Baekho put on to cover up how hurt he was as well?

“I believe you.” I answered and sat back in the chair and sighed. “Baekho, I’m sure the others have told you that Ren left because he liked you right?” Baekho nodded in answer. “They are not lying Baekho. Ren likes you so much.” I said. “And I could sit here and preach to you about how much he cares and is hurt by your actions, but I don’t want to waste my breath on things the others have already told you.”

“They have told me.” He said as he stared at me. “But, I just don’t understand. If he liked me so much, why didn’t he say anything? I don’t judge people. I didn’t judge Aron, or Minhyun, or you. Why couldn’t he be open with me?” He was a confused little child, that’s what Baekho was.

“Think back Baekho. Don’t you think you knew all along that he liked you?” I asked. In the short few months I knew these boys, I could see how Ren favored Baekho, and how he did everything he could to make sure they ended up on teams together, could spend time together. I wasn’t in their personal lives all the time, but I doubt it was any different behind these dorm walls.

“I guess.” He said. “Yeah, thinking back on it…I can see it.” He ran a hand through his hair and let out a groan. “Did I fuck up really badly?”

“More than you could ever know.” I told him. “Ren doesn’t want to come back, Baekho. He’s lost all hope.” I said. “He doesn’t think you like him anymore. That you don’t care about him. All your time is spent with Uee.” I said.

“He said that?” Baekho asked in shock. “How could he think that? I care a lot about him. He’s been my friend for a couple years now. We have such a strong bond…” he trailed off. Realization was finally starting to sink in for him. He was quickly learning about the mistakes he made. This was a good sign.

“I like Uee noona, but now that the show is basically over with and we’ve spent time outside of it, it’s just not working. We’re not as compatible as I thought we were.” He confessed. “Still, Ren was jealous of Uee?” he asked, looking back at me.

“No. He wasn’t jealous of Uee. He was hurt. He wanted you to be happy, don’t get things mixed up Baekho. Ren’s the kind of person who gets hurt easily, but if it means that his friends get to be happy, he accepts it. He was accepting of your relationship, but it hurt him deeply.”

“Fuck. I feel like an ass now.”

“You are.”

We sat in silence for a while. I wanted him to sit there and think. I wanted him to understand just what was going on and how it was affecting not just him and Ren, but the other members. For fuck sakes I walked in on Aron trying to strangle him.

“I have to do something.” Baekho said. I looked up at him and nodded. He hit the nail on the head with that statement.

“Do you like him?” I asked. He raised a brow at me and I saw him open his mouth to say something, but I gave him one of those looks and he paused. He thought about his answer for a moment before speaking.

“Yes.” He said and looked down as he rubbed his face. “Shit. Shitshitshit.” He said. “I never thought I was gay.” I laughed at that and shook my head. Baekho and Ren were so similar it wasn’t even funny.

“Look Baekho, I’m going to tell you the same thing I told Ren. You can like a guy without being gay.”

“Impossible.”

“It’s not. You can like a person of the same sex without liking any other same sex person. It’s not the fact that you’re attracted to the same gender, it’s the fact you’re attracted to another person. A person you like a lot, and feel so compatible with.” I explained. “Then again, you also like girls, so you could be bisexual.” I said.

He stared at me for a long moment and I sighed. Yeah, he had a really slow mind. It took a moment, but he finally processed the information and smiled. “Well…I guess I could live with being bisexual.” I smiled. Good. “Damn, I feel like a fool. I mean…for a while now I’ve been trying to deny my attraction to him. But…I don’t know why. I guess maybe I was scared of what that made me.” He said. “But now that you talked to me, I don’t really see an issue anymore.” I sighed and shook his head.

“Baekho, forget the titles. Forget what people would think of you. Listen to your heart.” I told him. “Listen to what it’s telling you. If you can do that, if you can accept yourself for what you are, for who you like without the need of a title, then you’re in great shape and I know you can help get things resolved with you and Ren.” I said. His head slowly nodded, but he didn’t look at me. He was concentrating and that was a good thing. It gave me hope in this hopeless time. I stood and moved around, patting his shoulder gently.

“You know hyungs number if you need more help. But Baekho, figure something out soon.” I told him. HE looked up at me confused. “I don't know how long Ren is going to go on. The pain is still there, even though he’s left. I don’t think he would do something so stupid but he might try to end it once and for all.” I said. That should light a fire under his ass. I left him there, fear evident on his face. He better do something now. I don’t think Ren would kill himself, but he needed something, some sort of sign to get his hope back. Ren was a beautiful person, both physically and spiritually. He didn’t deserve to be brought down into the depths of such darkness. He needed to be saved, to be brought back to the light.

And only Baekho could do that.

About the whole TOP dating young girls thing, I’m completely on board with you. Reading his natal chart, I can see partly why he has that preference. He’s an Aries moon and a Libra mercury big time. Most fans seem to perceive him as this mature, experienced and thoughtful man from his appearance and stage image. But if you follow him for more than 10 years you can tell that he’s the complete opposite. Not to say that he’s a bad guy who has little to no regard to his own actions and just acts as he’s pleased. He’s just not the type to plan ahead and prefer to live in the moment. He can be very impulsive and prioritizes his own needs that often leads to confrontation isssue if he were to deal with more emotionally mature people. It’s that thinking “why deal with it if you can just avoid it”. In a way I think he just tends to act from an emotional place until when things (accidentally) crash and burn he’s just lack the socially emotional capacity to deal with them.
