some lore under the cut

the overall premise is pretty similar, except the dragons arent human made, they are the native species of the planet just like humans (also the whole story doesnt take place on different moons and planets, its still earth, except its continents and regions). theyre as intelligent as humans too, but in a different way, so you wouldnt really call dragons stupid animals nor basically scaly humans, but intelligent creatures (sometimes dragons coexist with humans, sometimes dont, both are capable of learning eachothers speech, but its difficult due to vocal chords different structures and overall anatomy of producing sound)

the worker drones are simply flightless drakes in this world, and they werent used by humans like drones are in the og material. instead, due to human error, a human settlement in the subarctic area got wiped, and the drakes moved in to use the ruins as their colony. some time passes, and humans want to retake the place due to a dangerous, potentially world-ending thing theyve been working on in that outpost but shush shush. so what do they do? they send in the hunters, dragons which were trained and genetically modified from another species to be able to speak human and have their cannibalistic tendencies increased. so that they could get rid of the drakes that took over the place (normal drakes either hunted down or chased away, meanwhile those infected by absolute solver destroyed)

allergies 🎋 currently suffering because everything outside is covered in pollen.

Your choice of character

“Allergies suck!” Timothee whines as he enters your guy’s apartment.

You frown as you notice how red his nose and eyes are.

You pull him into a hug and he buries his head in your neck.

“Let’s get some Claritin into your body. That’ll help the worst of it.” You tell him

He nods but doesn’t move from your embrace.

You kiss his head and nuzzle his curls.

“Come on let’s sit down.”

He whines not wanting to move.

“Come on bubba.”

He finally pulls away from you and you get him over to the couch. Every year when he’s struggling with allergies you give Claritin, water and a few tissue boxes. The Claritin makes him sleepy so you spend the day cuddling him and letting him rest.

You give him medicine and water which he eagerly takes. He headbutts you wanting cuddles and to be held tight.

You wrap your arms around him and kiss him. He sighs heavily.

“There’s so much pollen and being outside is so hard. I couldn’t stop sneezing.” He says

You frown and kiss him

“I know you’ve been so miserable. Did you take Claritin before you worked on set?” You ask

Timothee nods

“It wore off during the lunch break.” He says “I didn’t have any on me to take any more.” He says before grabbing a tissue and sneezing.

“oh mon pauvre petit garçon.” You say

Timothee nods and keeps the tissue to his nose.

He blows his nose again and tosses it into the garbage. Then throws his arms around you.

You hold him in your arms hoping the Claritin will kick in soon and he’ll sleep. He rubs his face against you.

“Sweetie no don’t! I know your eyes are itchy but don’t.” 

“Itchy!” He whines 

“Shh I know I’m sorry”

You hold him close and kiss him on the head a few times. Soon he settles down and falls asleep as the medicine kicks in.

You spend the rest of the day tending to him and keeping him company.

They sneezed as they opened the door, and again as they hung their coat up, and then twice more as they entered the living room where I sat.

"Bless you," I said sweetly as they came to sit beside me.

"Ah-pff’TCHOO!"

"Bless you again," I put my arm around their shoulders and kissed their temple. "You getting a cold?"

"There were three cats at dinner I…ah-pff’TISCHOOCHOO! Ugh. I’ve been sneezing all night…"

"Mmm…" I breathed as I stroked their hair.

They gave me a teasing smile as their nostrils quickly flared.

"Oh don’t do that…" I murmured as I nuzzled my face into their neck.

"CHOO! Do what?" they asked with the cutest giggle you’ll ever hear.

"Tease me by trying to hold back…" my voice was muffled against their ear. "…You’re so hot baby…"

"I’m ah-Pff’CHOO! CHOO! Ugh. Look at me. I’m a mess…"

"No, you’re gorgeous…your laugh, your smile, your adorably pink nose…" I paused as they sneezed a quick double, "…and your sneezes, those drive me crazy…you know that…"

"You should have been there tonight…ahh-PFF‘CHOO!"

"Ohh…" I practically moaned.

"That’s what it was all…CHOOCHOO!…the entire time…who needs three cats…Uhh…CHOO!"

"Bless you honey…"

"Mmphx…I’m glad you’re enjoying this…"

I smiled and ran my fingers through my hair. "I really am…if you’re not suffering…"

They paused, their eyes shut tight with a mouth that was hanging open. They were breathing heavier than before.

As I watched they sucked their breath in, and a tear ran from the corner of their eye.

"AHH-PFF’CHOO! Het’CHIEW! CHIEW! Ohh……! CHHG’CHOO! CHOO! I’m tired of this now…"

I ran my hand over their hair.

"Why don’t you take a shower and go to bed babe," I said softly. They nodded, and then kissed me before letting three hard sneezes out into my collarbone. "Oof…"

They stood, sneezing once more.

"Are you going to join me?"

"I thought you’d never ask," I grinned. "Oh and baby?"

"Ah-pff’CHOO! Yeah my love?"

"Bless you."
