People are acting so weird and possessive of Markiplier for the whole OnlyFans situation. He's an adult. He's an adult who's been a celebrity for years. He knows people thirst on him. That's why he had this idea in the first place. He's not some naive kid you must protect. He's not some innocent soul that the evil sluts of Tumblr and Twitter will corrupt. He knows the Internet, he knows his fans and he knows his job.
He's an adult and he can make his own choices.

'How like a winter hath my absence been from thee...'
A warm spring sunrise over English countryside landscape, featuring two lovely ladies out for an early morning stroll.
While @clydethistles Regency-period-Jane-Austen-inspired AU (Austen AU for short) Affections And Adorations did not feature any scene at sunrise, the moment I saw this photo of English countryside my mind was immediately overcome with the need to see Tissaia and Yennefer from Clyde's story over that backdrop. I can use buzzwords like mutual pining and it's about the yearning to describe the story but then it would be undermining for such a lovely work, and undoubtedly one of my favourite fics of all time. I am forever in awe at the research and thoughtfulness Clyde put into crafting it, be it either in form of the details about everyday life from the time period or of the language of the narration and conversation, be it either manifested as the graceful incorporation of Austen-esque storytelling elements and archetypes or as our author's very own endeavour to write a heart-wrenching queer love story realistic for and true to its historical period setting.
The point is: the fic was completed quite recently and you should read it, or catch up with it if you haven't, you definitely should, thank me later.
Bonus: the lines, before I throw colours all over it like an excitable raccoon on crack:

You can all blame @animentality for this because their posts got me into durgetash (thank you!!!!!) and now I want to torture the villian couple. Probably won't make much sense because I drank enough caffeine to kill a horse today and my brain is going a million miles a second.
You know that scene where Orin shapeshifts into durge and tells them what she did to them? What if Gortash found out about it the same way and had Orin rub salt in the wound by then showing him the prayer for forgiveness?
She is cruel enough to do it and I can't think of any worse way to find out about what happened than for the attempted-murderer to shapeshift into their victim and describe what happened to them in explicit, gruesome detail. The attack itself, the tadpole, how they were abandoned to die alone like trash, how Gortash wasn't there to protect them, all of it. Only to show grieving Gortash the note

I find it so interesting that Verna took them in the order that she did. You'd think that she take them from oldest to youngest, and give the younger ones a few more days of life, she expected them to all live to 50 after all. But she takes Perry, the youngest and most childlike, first. Maybe because Perry's death affects the rest, without Perry, Frederick wouldn't have died the way he did… and maybe Tammy wouldn't have been so wound up. Maybe Verna expected more of a reaction? Like if she killed the youngest so brutally and horrifically that it would pull the family together and the rest would die peacefully. But no one gave a fuck, Perrys dead, that’s that. it's more of an inconvenience than anything. Idk just food for thought

Trying to finish something I was supposed to do ages ago--spinning a contrast color for this sock yarn. The fleece (southdown babydoll) had a pretty wide range of grays, most of which I blended together. But I intentionally left the darkest gray out of the mix so that later I could spin up just that, and have a dark gray for the toe and heel. So, now I'm doing that.
One thing I did not realize until now (due to intentionally avoiding working with the darker gray locks) is that they are all much shorter than the other colors of gray, and a lot of them are way finer too. That's not ideal, so I might not use it for the toe--it won't be as hard-wearing of a yarn and the toe/ball of the foot is what wears out the fastest on my socks by far, so. It's fine though, I just want some kind of decorative element that uses the fact that this fleece had lots of nice colors.
I'm also not that surprised, I guess. The longest locks were always the very light gray ones. Hard to know why without seeing the sheep though.

⋆。°✩ Happy Birthday Vincent! ✩°。⋆
June 28th baby! (This has been scheduled and hidden away for so long (16 days!) that you have no idea how good it is that the big day has finally arrived!)
I feel like such a proud parent, happy birthday to my pride and joy Vince <3. Although, it would have taken a bit of encouragement on Kerry's part to celebrate as Vincent isn't one to fuss about his birthday.
Kerry insists that miserable mercs can celebrate their birthday too, and boy did he prove Vincent wrong. So naturally Kerry bought two cakes, both chocolate, obviously, along with party hats and balloons (the balloons that have blended in with the background ;-; ). He had bought the second yet smaller cake for Johnny who would have kicked up a fuss for not being included. He is sharing the same brain as the birthday boy after all.

Okay but the transition into being a vampire just feels like my everyday life. When he complains about sleeping for hours (20 for him usually 15-18 for me) and never being awake is so real. Plus then going outside is just the autistic experience of “feeling the tread count of [his] tshirt” and smelling every smell and hearing every sound. This is like my fifth listen and every time I just slightly question where these symptoms come from vamp biology wise because I might be fucked.

i think what hits most about nobara's backstory is everything that's left unsaid and peaks from between the lines. it's the fact you can easily infer that something was wrong without ever having clear answers on what exactly was wrong. but if you can relate to the feeling of wanting to escape a place and the alienation from everyone around you, especially when you're brought up in small communities, then you can certainly understand, if not fully then partially, nobara herself and the struggles she might have had to face all by herself for a very long time; maybe even the importance fumi and saori had in her life and the pain from having to part from them; and, perhaps the selectiveness in letting people in that she later on develops as well.

groundbreaking, etc etc
[ID: two digital drawings of kingdom hearts' character, lexaeus, in his organization coat. the background is light blue, and the colors are faded.
in the first image, he is shown sitting on haunches, as if landing a jump, the tail of his coat flaring behind him. he is frowning and sneering lightly. before his core, with either hand, he holds the handle of his characteristic weapon, Skysplitter. tilted down, the end of his axe sword hits the ground, where shards rise up from the impact.
the second image is a close up of his face. /End ID.]
