so I just saw this post asking abt usamerican high school things for someone who wanted to write hs au's and as informative as it is I just?? you guys do fire drills every month??? almost everyone said they did fire drills about once a month and tornado/intruder drills like once per semester and that's just insane to me. like in my school we did fire drills maybe once a year?? and that's it, and not even like, real fire drills. they just had us go out to the courtyard like two years or continue working in our classroom but with the power off for like 20 minutes the other years. like I just?? every month?? why do you need so many fire drills?? don't you know what to do already why is it necessary to do it over and over again every month??? and like how often do schools burn down that someone even decided "yeah we're gonna have them do this every month"???? what the fuck??
