LIX. Believers, obey God (Allah), and obey the messenger, and those with authority among you. And if you dispute over anything, refer it to God(Allah) and the messenger, if you believe in God (Allah) and the last day.
LVIII. God (Allah) commands you to repay pledges to the people due them; and to judge with justice when you judge between people. Excellent is what God (Allah) instructs you; for God (Allah) is all-knowing, all-seeing.
LVII. But those who believe and do good We will admit to gardens below which rivers flow, where they will abide forever. There are pure mates for them there; and We will admit them to a shaded shelter.

Question: Do women have to seek knowledge? Is it obligatory for her?
(And the importance of finding a righteous wife?)
Answer:
Unfortunately you will find many students of knowledge who look over this matter lightly, or don’t pay enough attention to the fact that they should be assisting/facilitating their women seeking knowledge.
Just as a man has obligations and affairs that he has been commanded with, In the same way, also have women.
Imam ibn al Jawzī (رحمه الله) said:
“A woman is an accountable individual just as a man is. She is obliged to seek knowledge of her duties so that she may perform them properly.”
[Ahkām an-Nisāʾ, pg. 38]
How can we expect our women to fear Allah and be dutiful to us and our Lord if they don’t have knowledge of him?
Or if they don’t know their responsibilities as a wife?
And from knowing Allah, comes loving Allah, which causes one to increase in actions that Allah loves and is pleased with, and causes one to abstain from the prohibitions of Allah.
How a man claim to love his wife?, or love his daughter? If hes not willing to aid her in seeking closeness to Allah? If one loves their wife, they should seek the means of himself AND her seeking beneficial knowledge, so that they both enter the from best of places in existence and reside in their forever - Jannah.
The same with preventing her in what harms her. If you saw a loved one walking towards a fire unknowingly, you would do everything you can to stop them, even if they were insistent on this path to protect them from something that will harm them.
What about the HOTTEST of Fires?
The Hellfire?
Allah says in the Quran:
“So those who disbelieve will have garments of Fire put out for them, boiling water will be poured down from above upon their heads. It will melt their insides and their skins.
And there will be for them hooked rods of iron with which they will be beaten” (Surah Hajj)
Is that what we want for the wives we claim to love? Is that what we want for our daughters and our mothers?
And know that the women are the backbone of the households, and are those who may spend more time in the cultivation of your children.
Shaykh Sāliẖ al-Fawzān (حفظه الله) said:
“If the woman is lost, the household will be lost.
If the household is lost, then the children will be lost.
If the households are lost, then the community is surely lost!”
[Muhatharah fī ʿAqīdah, pg. 162]
And Abd Al-Raḥmān b. Abzā – said:
“A righteous woman with a man is like a great gold-leafed crown on the head of a king,
and a bad woman with a man is like a heavy weight upon an old man.”
(Ibn Abī Al-Shaybah, Al-Musannaf)
May Allah bestow his Mercy apon us, grant us righteous spouses, and allow them to be a means of us entering Jannah.
May Allah make us among those who spend our time not only learning beneficial knowledge ourselves, but also to come home and teach/seek means for our families to learn the Deen so that they make become closer to Allah and abstain from that which Allah is displeased with.

Do Not Let Freemixing Lightly
ʿImrān b. ʿAbd Allah al-Khuzāʿī reported that Saʿīd Ibn al-Musayyib said: “I do not fear anything for myself as I do al-nisāʾ (ie: women).” It was said: “O Abū Muḥammad, the likes of you do not desire al-nisāʾ and al-nisāʾ do not desire him.” He said: “It is as I say to you (ie: that I fear the fitnah of the women).” He was (at this time) an old blind Shaykh.

Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) stated:
The continuous remembrance of Allāh [i.e. adkhār] is a protection from hypocrisy, since the hypocrites rarely remember Allāh. Allāh said about them:
“And they only remembered Allāh occasionally”
[Sūrah al-Nisāʾ, 4:142].
Kaʿb (رحمه الله) said: “Whoever continuously remembers Allāh is free from hypocrisy.” Consequently, Allāh concluded Sūrah al-Munāfiqūn [i.e. The Sūrah of the Hypocrites] by saying:
“O you who believe! Let not your wealth or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allāh, and whoever does that then they are the losers”
[Sūrah al-Munāfiqūn, 63:9].
This is a warning from the fitnah of the hypocrites who fell into hypocrisy because they failed to remember Allāh.
Questioned about the Khawārij1, some of the Companions said: “They are not hypocrites as the hypocrites hardly remember Allāh.” Therefore, remembering Allāh continuously is a protection from hypocrisy, and only remembering Him occasionally is a sign of hypocrisy.
Allāh does not test the heart by filling it with hypocrisy as He is more honourable than that; rather, the heart is filled with hypocrisy because it has forgotten Allāh’s remembrance.
[1] One of the earliest deviant groups of which the Prophet (ﷺ) said about them:
“They will pass clean through the religion just as the arrow passes through the prey, and they will never come back to it. They would be the worst among the creation and the creatures.” (Saḥīḥ Muslim 1067 from Abu Dharr)

Aḥmad b. al-Naḍr al-Hilālī said that he heard his father saying:
I was in a majlis (sitting) with Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah and he looked at a young boy, while the rest of the people in the masjid were looking down upon him (ie: the young boy, because a child is at a gathering of knowledge).
So Sufyān recited to them: {That is how you were in the past; then Allāh blessed you} [al-Nisāʾ 4:94] (ie: you used to be a child like him)
Then he said: O naḍr, if you were to see me when I was ten years old, I was five handspans in height,
My face was like a dinār,
I was like a flame,
My thawb was short,
My sleeves were short,
My tail (ie: of the imāmah/turban) was lengthy,
My slippers were like the ears of mice,
I would travel and sit with the ʿulamāʾ al-amṣār (scholars of the various lands) like al-Zuhrī and ʿAmr b. Dīnār,
I would sit between them like a nail,
My inkwell was like a walnut,
My quill-holder was like a small banana,
My pen was like an almond,
But when I would come they would say: “Make room for the young Shaykh!”
Then he laughed.

Speaking Without Knowledge
Allāh frowns upon those who speak without knowledge for He forbade doing so in His Book. Allāh the Most High said: {And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge} [Al-Isrāʾ 17:36] قال تعالى: وَلا تَقْفُ ما لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ [الإسراء: 36] And He said: {Say, “My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allāh that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allāh that which you do not know.”} [Al-Aʿrāf 7:33] وقال تعالى: قُلْ إِنَّما حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَواحِشَ ما ظَهَرَ مِنْها وَما بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ [الأعراف: 33] الآية And He said to the Shayṭān: {He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allāh what you do not know} [Al-Baqarah 2:169] وقال تعالى عن الشيطان: إِنَّما يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَالْفَحْشاءِ وَأَنْ تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ما لا تَعْلَمُونَ [البقرة: 169] And He addressed the People of the Book: {Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge?} [Al-ʿImrān 3:66] وقال فيها يخاطب به أهل الكتاب: ها أَنْتُمْ هؤُلاءِ حاجَجْتُمْ فِيما لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِيما لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ [آل عمران: 66] الآية. And He said: {Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them that they would not say about Allāh anything but the truth? And they have studied what is in it (the Book)} [Al-Aʿrāf 7:169] وقال: أَلَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِيثاقُ الْكِتابِ أَنْ لا يَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ وَدَرَسُوا ما فِيهِ [الأعراف: 169]. And He said: {O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allāh except the truth} [Al-Nisāʾ 4:171] وقال: يا أَهْلَ الْكِتابِ لا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَ [النساء: 171].

❗ A Husband Is A Woman's Paradise Or Hell ❗
Sh. Muḥammad Bāzmool Hafiẓahullāh said:
My religion has taught me…
…that it is upon a woman not to lose her husband and to work hard towards his being pleased in everything other than disobedience [to Allāh], for indeed, he is only her Paradise or Hell;
And that a righteous wife makes her husband happy whenever he sees her due to her obeying him and treating him in the best of manners–and for her, if she is patient, is Paradise–since her husband’s right upon her is truly huge.
From Ḥuṣain ibn Miḥṣan that an aunt of his came to the Prophet ﷺ for a need; she then finished [taking care] of her need, upon which he ﷺ [asked] her: “Do you have a husband?”
She said: “Yes.”
He ﷺ [asked]: “Then where are you [in your level of performance] with regard to him?”, Yaʿlá said: “Then how are you to him?”
She said: “I don’t hold back in doing anything for him other than that which I’m incapable of.”
He ﷺ said: “Look to where you are [in your level of performance] with regard to him because he is truly your Paradise or your Hell.”¹
From Abū Hurairah, [who] said:
It was said to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, “Which women are the best?” He ﷺ said: “The best of women are those who make [their husbands] happy when [they] look [at them], [who] obey [their husbands] when [they] tell them to do [something], and [who] do not go against [their husbands] with regards to their own selves or their possessions in [a way] they do not like.”²
¹Aḥmad narrated it in Al-Musnad (Al-Maymuniyyah 4/341, 6/419), (Al-Risālah ḥadīth no. 19003), and Al-Albānī rated it ṣaḥīḥ [authentic] in Silsilah Al-Aḥādīth Al-Ṣaḥīḥah (2612).
Author’s Notes
²Al-Nasāʾī narrated it [in] Kitāb Al-Nikaḥ, Ayyu Al-Nisāʾ Khair (2/72) 3231, Al-Ḥākim (2/161), and Aḥmād (Al-Maymuniyyah 2/251, 2/432, and 2/438), (Al-Risālah ḥadīth no. 7421), and Al-Albānī rated it ḥasan [good] in Silsilah Al-Aḥādīth Al-Ṣaḥīḥah, ḥadīth no. 1838.

The Deeds of the People of Paradise and the Deeds of the People of the Fire
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymīyyah was asked, what are the deeds of the people of Paradise, and what are the deeds of the people of the Fire?
So He answered - All praise is due to Allāh, Lord of all the worlds - An action of the people of Paradise is Faith (īmān), and righteousness (taqwá), and an action of the people of the Fire is disbelief (kufr), and corruption (fusūq), and disobedience ('asyaan).
So the deeds of the people of Paradise are faith in Allāh, and His angels, and His books, and His messengers, and the Last Day, and faith in pre-decree (qadar) - the good of it, and the evil of it. And the two testimonies; bearing witness that there is no true deity worthy of worship except for Allāh, and Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is the Messenger of Allāh. And establishing prayer, and giving charity (zakāt), and the fast of Ramaḍān, and pilgrimage to the House. And that you worship Allāh as though you see Him, so even though you cannot see Him, verily He sees you. And from the deeds of the people of Paradise is truthful speech, and fulfilling trusts, and the keeping of agreements, and righteousness towards the parents and family, and mercy and goodness towards the neighbours and orphans, and the poor, and the slave from amongst the poor, and the cattle. And from the deeds of the people of Paradise is being sincere towards Allāh, and trusting in Him, and loving for His sake, and His messenger, and fearing Allāh, and having hope in His Mercy, and turning repentantly to Him, and having patience on His Command, and being thankful for His Blessings. And from the actions of the people of Paradise is the recitation of the Qurʾān, and the remembrance of Allāh, and calling on Him for ones affairs, and having a fervent desire (raghbah) towards Him.
And from the deeds of the people of Paradise is to maintain ties with whoever cuts himself off from you, and to allow for the one who forbids for you, and to forgive the one who oppresses you. For verily Allāh has prepared Paradise for the righteous.
"Those who spend in ease and hardship, and the restrainers of anger, and the forgivers of people - and Allāh loves those who are good." [Sūrah Āl ʿImrān, 3:134]
And from the deeds of the people of Paradise is trustworthiness in all affairs, and with all of the creation, even the disbelievers, and similar to these actions.
And as for the people of the Fire, they do the likes of associating partners with Allāh, and lying on the messengers, and disbelief, and jealousy, and falsehood, and faithlessness, and oppression, and evil, and treachery, and the cutting off of mercy, and differing secretly or publicly, and to renounce and feel hopeless about the Light of Allāh, and to feel secure from the Plot of Allāh. And to become worried due to difficulties, and boasting and having arrogance during good times, and abandoning their obligatory duties to Allāh, and committing transgression against His limits, and consuming what He has forbidden. And fearing the creation rather than the Creator, and having hope in the creation rather than the Creator, and putting trust on the creatures instead of the Creator, and acting for the sake of showing off and gaining a good reputation. And opposing the Book and the Sunnah, and obeying the creation in disobedience to the Creator. And ridiculing the words of Allāh, and denial of the truth, and concealing that which should be manifest from knowledge, and testimony.
And from the deeds of the people of the Fire is practicing magic, and disobedience to the parents, and killing a person whom Allāh has made it forbidden to kill without a right. And eating the inheritance of an orphan, and eating interest, and running away from the army, and to accuse and make fools of chaste believing women. And a detailed discussion of these two matters is not possible, rather all of the deeds of the people of Paradise fall under obedience to Allāh and His Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and all of the deeds of the people of the Fire fall under disobedience to Allāh and His Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam).
"And whoever obeys Allāh and His messenger, shall enter into gardens underneath which rivers flow, abiding therein, and that is the greatest achievement. And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger and transgresses His limits, for him is a shameful punishment." [Sūrah al-Nisāʾ, 4:13-14]
