may i request for sweet fluff hcs with the shimada brothers? preferably a reader who is slightly younger than them
𝔽𝕝𝕦𝕗𝕗 ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕟𝕤
Tumblr media
Words: 646
Might've gone a little overboard for them. :)
Tumblr media
ℍ𝕒𝕟𝕫𝕠:
No matter how long you two date or remain friends with him there will always be an air of mentor and student. It will never leave, whether it's easily observable or underlying. (In his words, ‘You never stop learning.’)
He tries to stay around you 24/7, making sure you’re safe by watching over you. If it’s not possible he’ll have someone who is trusted to take his place until he returns.
Isn’t the biggest fan of pda due to the fact he’s never dealt with it and he gets embarrassed. But he tries to make up for it later in private, which is repaid in cuddles and kisses.
His main love language is acts of service, if giving gifts were on it would be up there. But this allows him to feel useful and needed, even if he knows he doesn’t need to he’ll do it anyways.
Speaking off giving if you look at something for even a few seconds in person or mention something online next thing you know it’s sitting on your bed later. (Unless it wont fit then it’s waiting outside your door.)
He sews. Learned it when he was young and only improved on the skill, which he is happy to use now. By making you custom clothing and garments, making sure it’s your favourite colour, material and clothing type.
His dragons will start gravitating towards you, while it starts simple soon enough all their time outside of battle is spent hanging around you. In their small forms.
But once they become bigger it only makes their cuddle piles harder to leave, not that you would want to. At this point Hanzo has learned to join instead of leaving.
Everyday he’ll dote on you about your health. If you’re eating and drinking enough, injured? Searching and retrieving a medkit or medicine for you.
If you get sick he’s one of the best people to help you. He’ll stay around as much as possible, staying just far enough away and knows what not to do. (No kisses :()
He will train you, there will be no exceptions. While it’s mainly hand to hand combat, sparring and so on, if you turn out decent at bows he might let you try his out. (Unlike someone who shot him, Genji.)
Tumblr media
𝔾𝕖𝕟𝕛𝕚:
Back in his younger years he would’ve had no shame when it came to pda, sorry but he wouldn't give up being a playboy. But you will always be his one and only.
In the current days he’s become a bit more reserved although he does enjoy and allow you to hold hands and some quick kisses. (His mask nudges your face.)
If you allow him he will carry you around, whether you’re injured or not. The usual is the bridal carry but for laughs he will do the fireman carry.
If you ever get seriously injured he’ll have no clue what to do, so he has to find the nearest support. Small ones are fine, luckily he knows the basics.
When he starts training you, he will go soft on you. Even if he tries not to, it's difficult, he tries not to hurt you. Panic will ensue if he lays the smallest injury on you.
Soon enough he’ll bring you along to the shambali monastery to meet Zenyatta. And if you two get along and meditate together he will fall harder.
He’ll try to convince you to meditate with him, even if you don’t and just hang around he’ll be happy.
His love language is quality time. Just spending time around you, whether you speak or not.
Will let you apply the balm to this scar as it helps keep them painless. Plus he gets even more time with you.
Please play with his hair. He will melt into your arms the moment you do, his scalp has become a lot more sensitive.

“babe, the kids have been asleep for hours, you don’t have to wear the costume” “but what if they wake up”
also definitely is a part of the carpool + always talks about ‘that bitch Karen’
Reaper
he would be a great father
definitely very sleepy and always takes naps with the kids
is the type to patrol their room if they complain about monsters under the bed
somehow knows exactly what to do too
you’re kind of jealous of it actually
until you see how close he is with them and how cute it is
doesn’t initially want to volunteer for anything at their school/extracurriculars
cannot resist puppy dog eyes though and gets roped into it anyway
the “idk ask your mom” type
plays with the kids for hours
they will literally be using this man as a jungle gym and he doesn’t even flinch
carries them to bed when they fall asleep in weird places
if some kid was bullying them at school, he would definitely have some strong words for them
“kick them in the shins” “gabriel!”
not a big fan of Halloween but will hold their hands if they get scared
also insists they wear a coat and even when they refuse carries it the whole night for when they inevitable get cold
loves to play in the snow with your kids
absolute snowball fight master
holds them up so they can decorate the top of the tree
helps them write letters to Santa + gives them letters back covered in white glitter and candy cane stickers
he’s so soft

Hi! Can I just have an angsty/fluffy thing? Hanzo Shimada x Reader and the reader isn't taking care of themselves so Hanzo takes a bath with them etc
my first overwatch ask! thank you so much, i love hanzo.
☽ ༚  ༵ ۰ ✧ ۰  ༵ ༚ ༵ ۰ ✧ ۰
— a tender touch
hanzo shimada x reader that hasn't been taking care of themselves
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you found yourself lost in a haze of exhaustion and neglect. the weight of responsibilities and personal struggles had taken a toll on your well-being, and you couldn't remember the last time you took care of yourself properly.
hanzo had noticed the change in you, the way you seemed to withdraw into yourself and neglect even the most basic self-care. he had tried to reach out, to offer comfort and support, but you had pushed him away, shutting yourself off from the world.
one evening, as you sat alone in the living room, hanzo approached you with a determined expression. "y/n, we need to talk," he said firmly, pulling you out of your thoughts.
you sighed, knowing that you couldn't avoid this conversation any longer. "i know, hanzo. i'm sorry i've been distant lately."
he took a seat beside you, his gaze gentle yet assertive. "this is not just about being distant, y/n. i'm worried about you. you haven't been taking care of yourself, and it is affecting you."
tears welled up in your eyes, and you looked away, unable to meet his concerned gaze. "i don't know what to do, hanzo. everything feels so overwhelming."
he reached out, gently turning your face towards him. "you don't have to face it alone. let me help you, my love. i want to be there for you."
the vulnerability in his eyes struck a chord within you, and you finally allowed yourself to open up. "i feel so lost, hanzo. i don't know how to take care of myself anymore."
hanzo nodded understandingly, his hand softly caressing your cheek. "then let me help you," he said gently. "let's take a bath together. it might be a small step, but it's a start."
you hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether you could let your guard down. but the sincerity in hanzo's eyes and the longing to find some comfort pushed you to nod in agreement.
with his guidance, you made your way to the bathroom, where a deep tub awaited. hanzo started filling it with warm water, adding fragrant bath salts to create a soothing atmosphere. as the tub filled, he began to undress you, his movements slow and gentle.
your heart raced with vulnerability and anxiety, but hanzo's presence was comforting, reassuring you that you were safe with him. he undressed himself, and then you both stepped into the warm water, sinking down until you were seated comfortably.
hanzo carefully washed your body and hair, his touch tender and caring. he made sure to pay attention to every detail, taking his time to cleanse away the weariness that had taken root in your soul.
"you don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders," he whispered, his voice filled with empathy. "let me share it with you."
the tears that had been threatening to spill over finally fell, and you leaned into hanzo's embrace, seeking solace in his arms. he held you close, his strong arms offering a sense of security and warmth.
together, you soaked in the bath, finding comfort in each other's presence. hanzo's presence was a balm to your weary soul, helping you release the pent-up emotions and fears that had been haunting you.
as the water cooled, hanzo gently lifted you out of the tub, wrapping you in a soft towel, as well as putting a robe on himself. he carried you back to the bedroom, where he laid you down on the bed, covering you with blankets.
"i'll be here with you, y/n," he whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "through the ups and downs, i'll be here."
as the night wore on, hanzo stayed with you, holding you close as you drifted off to sleep.
the next morning, you woke up to the comforting aroma of breakfast wafting through the air. as you sat up in bed, you saw hanzo entering the room with a tray filled with a variety of delicious foods.
"i made breakfast for you," he said with a soft smile, placing the tray on your lap.
your heart swelled with gratitude at his thoughtful gesture. the spread before you was a mix of savory and sweet delicacies, your favorite treats carefully prepared by hanzo's own hands.
"thank you, hanzo," you said, your voice filled with emotion. "you didn't have to do all this."
"i wanted to," he replied, sitting down beside you. "you've been neglecting yourself. i can't bare to see you like this."
he picked up a piece of fruit and held it to your lips, urging you to take a bite. the sweetness of the fruit mingled with the warmth of his love, and you felt a sense of comfort wash over you.
with every bite, hanzo fed you with tender care, making sure you savored each morsel. he brought you nourishment not just for your body but also for your soul, showing you that you were deserving of love and care, no matter how broken or lost you felt.
"i'm sorry," you whispered, tears welling up in your eyes again. "i didn't mean to burden you with all this."
hanzo placed a gentle finger on your lips, silencing your words. "you are not a burden, y/n. we all have our struggles, and i want to be here for you through yours. it's the least i can do after everything you have done for me."
you took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of emotions swirling within you. the love and care hanzo showered upon you were overwhelming, reminding you that you were not alone in this journey.
as you finished your meal, hanzo cleaned up the tray, and you noticed a sense of purpose and determination in his eyes. "i have an idea," he said, sitting back down beside you.
"what is it?" you asked curiously.
"i know that life has been tough on you lately," he began, "and i want to help you find some balance and peace. there are some relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices that might be beneficial for you."
you smiled, touched by his effort to support you in every possible way. "that sounds wonderful, hanzo. i'd love to try anything that might help."
over the next few days, hanzo introduced you to various self-care techniques, from meditation to yoga and even guided breathing exercises. with his patient guidance, you began to incorporate these practices into your daily routine, slowly finding moments of tranquility and calm amidst the chaos.
hanzo also encouraged you to share your thoughts and emotions with him, opening up about your struggles and fears. his attentive listening and understanding presence created a safe space for you to let go of the pent-up emotions that had been consuming you.
with hanzo by your side, you found the courage to face your inner demons, knowing that you weren't alone in this battle. and as you walked hand in hand with him, you knew that together, you could conquer anything that life had in store for you.

Hi! Can I request some fluff about Genji with a support reader?
Of course. I promise that there will only be maybe 1 to 3 “I need healing” jokes.
Tumblr media
I Need Healing
Genji x Support! Reader
You are the only healer that Genji trusts when Mercy, Ana, and Kiriko aren’t available. Mercy has taught you the run down of how to help Genji with his Cyborg parts if she wasn’t around. You were a little jealous of Mercy and Genji’s bond. Not so much about his bonds with Kiriko and Ana. Ana was like everyone’s mom and Kiriko was like a sister to him.
You were organizing some medical supplies in your office when there was a knock on your door.
“Come in.”
You say as you close the cabinet door. You look at the doorway and see Hanzo and Kiriko holding Genji.
“Oh. Please put him on the table and tell me what happened.”
They do as you say and they do it quickly.
“Well his legs gave out. Then his arms stopped working.”
Hanzo informed you
“We tried Mercy’s office, but I forgot that she’s currently on vacation.”
Your face saddens.
“Luckily Mercy taught me how to do this. So he’s in good hands. If you two would to wait outside that would be great.”
They both nod and close the door when they exit. You sanitize your hands and put on some glove. You get to work getting Genji’s arms working. You were done with one arm and you were about to move to work on the other when Genji’s hand grabbed your wrist.
“Thank you, Mercy”
“You’re welcome, Genji.”
You say as you frown and he lets go of you. About 2 hours later you finally get his arms and legs working again. You were talking to Hanzo and Kiriko outside of your office when all three of you hear the door open.
“You know that you should be resting, Genji. Mercy told me that it’s important for you to rest for at least a minimum of 5 hours after I fix you up.”
“I apologize, Y/N. But…”
“But what, Genji?”
Hanzo questions.
“I can’t relax without Y/N there with me. And I’m hungry.”
“I’ll be in there in a minute and I’ll make sure to have a snack for you to eat. Okay?”
He nods and goes to lay back down.
“He called me Mercy while I was working on him.”
“Do you think he was out of it and didn’t know?”
Kiriko asks
“That’s what I’m telling myself. Also, Kiriko. Can you get a snack for Genji? And Hanzo please make sure that she doesn’t get anything with sugar or a lot of salt.”
They nod and set off on their mission. You go into your office and close the door. When you sit down next to Genji he wraps his arms around you.
“I’m sorry for calling you Mercy. My brain is just used to having Mercy fix me.”
“It’s alright Genji. I knew you didn’t mean it. I guess I was just a little jealous.”
He takes off his face mask and kisses your cheek.
“You know I love you. My sweet doe.”
You blush as he calls you that since he started calling you that when he first saw you summon your doe spirit during battle. It’s similar to the brothers dragons and Kiriko’s Kitsune. But the doe will pick the person or people who need healing and takes them to safety while healing them.
You two end up laying down and face each other.
“I think I need more healing, Y/N?”
“Why?”
“Because I think I might die from how cute you are.”
You two share a kiss. When Hanzo and Kiriko come back they hear the soft snoring of Genji and they just end up leaving a note with the snacks. Kiriko may or may not have taken a picture of you and Genji sleeping.

Yes please talk more about That scene; Because there are LAYERS to some of their expressions and Kuai radiating 'please, let me take care of you' energy while Hanzo (at times) looks half-starved for any sort of gentleness (and also possibly Kuai's torso in that shirt XD) is a peak subscorp moment.
Oh thank god
So, for one thing, after Kuai Liang bows and Hanzo is watching him walk away, Hanzo’s facial expression is so complex like, for one thing he looks like he wants to eat Kuai Liang and for another, he looks at him so softly, like he’s realizing that Kuai Liang is not the monster he’s convinced himself that the cryomancer is and he’s at peace and feels safe which is incredible given that the last time they saw each other was in the mkx comics after Hanzo stabbed him and left him to die a slow and painful death.
And then Hanzo’s expression shifts into something more guarded and angry the moment Kuai Liang is able to see him again, like Hanzo is hiding and reminding himself of what they actually are to each other (which I think means that something happened when they were in the netherrealm together, like idk what but their relationship was defo complicated there)
Then, Hanzo tries to start a fight by demanding that Kuai Liang admit the Lin Kuei killed his fam and clan only to be so caught off guard when Kuai Liang actually does, like he was so hostile as he said it (understandably) and he’s just met with genuine remorse and softness that he cannot comprehend
And he’s so guarded as Kuai Liang talks and pours the tea, but he’s also clearly listening the whole time, like he wants to know what’s going on and he wants to understand but he can’t fully let go of the idea that Kuai Liang is his enemy. It’s like he can’t fathom the idea that Kuai Liang wouldn’t want to retaliate against him for the encounter in the comics, like he can only understand the world in the context of violence and vengeance, which Kuai Liang just refuses to engage with now
And Kuai Liang is going Out Of His Way to make this as easy and painless for Hanzo as possible. He knows how much this information is going to hurt and he’s trying to mitigate that and he’s handling Hanzo So Gently, he’s being so deliberately kind
And the thing is, no one would expect that of him. Hanzo did kill Bi-Han unjustly, Kuai Liang can prove that, no one would have blamed the cryomancer for sending Hanzo that information and having that be the end of it, or even just trying to kill Hanzo immediately. He would have been fully within his rights to do so, but he chooses not to bc he Knows what this is like, to be manipulated into killing someone by the cause of your misery (he did grow up in the Lin Kuei after all
If Frost hadn’t intervened, I do wonder what that interaction would have looked like, and I think it would have ended up changing their relationship a fair bit (in that they would have taken a Lot longer to trust each other)
But Frost did, and the moment that she did, Hanzo just clung to that bc it meant Kuai Liang was seeking revenge and that’s something he could understand, something that was comfortable with
And then Kuai Liang freezes Frost to defend Hanzo and you can see in Hanzo’s expression as Kuai Liang keeps talking it’s just pure confusion, he cannot fathom how this has played out but he Wants to, like he’s so tempted by the softness he’s being offered even if he can’t put a name to it, he wants to let himself have it
And then Hanzo learns the truth and he’s Immediately wracked with guilt for what he’s done and he’s probs expecting to be met with some demand for penance but all Kuai Liang gives him is understanding and the promise of support in his pursuit of vengeance (why else offer an alliance in that exact moment that Hanzo decides that Quan Chi must pay?)
Hanzo and Kuai Liang are alike in that they are unused to gentleness and softness but Hanzo did know it once and Kuai Liang can’t remember ever experiencing it. And yet, Kuai Liang is relentless in offering it to Hanzo who can’t figure out how to accept it
I wish we got to see more of their early alliance days bc there’s so much potential there

《Hanzo Dating hcs》
▪︎Man, you might have hit the jackpot. Hanzo definitely treats his lover well.
▪︎He doubts himself. Worried that he isn't worthy of your love. You'll need to comfort him alot over it.
▪︎can be extremely over-protective of you. He's worried about losing you like he "lost" his brother.
▪︎before you started dating, he was scared of admitting his feelings to you.
▪︎favorite place to kiss you is definitely your hands. Regardless if they're soft, or rough.
▪︎also someone who can be very supportive of you. Not your cheerleader like Lucio, but he is content in whatever career or aspirations you have
▪︎doesn't like it when you're away from him for long. He understands you can take of yourself, but it doesn't mean he can't worry.
▪︎can show his love by showering you with gifts.
▪︎your parents definitely approve of him. Even if they don't know his background, he's such a gentleman that they approve
▪︎for dates I picture him taking you to beautiful locations so the two of you could be alone and with peace.
Silly me I wrote this during school

Plenty of Time
Hanzo x gn!reader (established relationship) (post-recall)
Warnings: canon-typical violence, injury, hospitals, alluding to death, mental health struggles/grieving, it's a lot of angst but there is comfort at the end
// an: i've always been bad with titles so ignore that. this is really long btw. like i think around 4k words. just a warning so you know what you are getting into. also i love this trope so much. that's all, thank you for reading! //
It was just supposed to be simple job. Get in. Find the crate that Overwatch is looking to keep out of Talon's hands. Get out. Winston had expressed the importance of intercepting the shipment to you, Hanzo, Genji, and Mercy before sending you off.
The plan was simple. Angela and Hanzo would keep their distance. Winston found that there was rarely personnel on the catwalk, so the two of them would be the eyes in the sky. Hanzo could intervene if needed and Angela could swoop in to support you and genji on the ground. You two were the ones responsible for retrieving the crate and getting it outside, where the other two would meet you in the alley beside the warehouse where the getaway vehicle was waiting.
Hanzo hated the idea of being separated from you, especially on a more high risk operation like this. The place would be crawling with Talon soldiers, and he felt helpless knowing that he was that far away. It took some convincing from Genji and Winston, but eventually the plan was set in place.
Winston seemed to have analyzed every variable that could affect the mission. He vetted the source of the information, tracked the routes of the guards over the last three weeks, and placed the getaway vehicle ensuring it was discrete and ready to go when you needed it.
The only thing that Winston didn't account for was Reaper personally escorting the package to its destination.
Of course, he couldn't have known that. None of you could have. But you'll never forget the feeling in the pit of your stomach when you heard his signature shotguns echo through the warehouse. You thought it might of been his way of dealing with soldiers who didn't do their part, but you tried to push that thought out of your mind.
You all stopped in your tracks. None of you dared to say a word. Slowly, you looked over to Hanzo, who clearly seemed to tense up at the sound. You gave him a soft, albeit nervous, smile trying to comfort him.
The two of you often communicated with glances. It became helpful in situations like this, but it's a result of the two of you being able to read each other well. He could tell how your day went simply by the look of your eyes. You knew when he was getting overwhelmed by Hana and Lucio's antics in the cafeteria. Genji claims you have a sixth sense when it comes to understanding Hanzo, but it's really just a testament to how well you know and trust each other.
Hanzo didn't reciprocate your smile. He swallowed tensely before muttering, "We need to move."
It wasn't long until Winston chimed in on the comms: "The entrance to catwalks should be on your right."
Low and behold, there was a towering set of scaffolding holding up a set of metal stairs.
You gave your boyfriend a small smile. "See you soon."
His gaze lingered on you for a moment, before taking a deep breath and following Mercy up the stairs.
You followed Genji behind palletes of crates, using them as cover. Winston chimed in, giving updates on where the guards patrolling were in relation to your position.
"Do you think you could distract them while I get the crate out of here?" Genji said, his voice hardly above a whisper.
You hated the idea. It wasn't that you doubted your skills, as you were obviously well trained enough to be on the Overwatch strike team. The problem was that Reaper, the head of Talon, was the one you were distracting. Also, Genji was certainly stronger than you, even without the cybernetic enhancements. If there was anyone to take the crate out of the warehouse quickly, it was certainly him.
"That works." You lied through your teeth. You tried not to feel anxious; it would only weigh you down. You took a deep breath before addressing Winston: "Does that work for you?"
"That sounds optimal. I would suggest initiating soon. There is a guard passing your location on the left in approximately 15 seconds. If you engage with them, there's a clear path for Genji to slip through to your right."
You sighed softly. "No time like the present"
As you split ways with Genji, you heard a soft "Stay safe" through your earpiece. Hanzo was obviously trying to say it discretely so he didn't get pestered by his younger brother. You chuckled softly, murmuring back "you too."
Once you saw the signature red helmet of the Talon soldier, you immediately jumped into action. You swept his legs out from underneath him, causing the soldier to fall with a thud.
Moving towards the open area, you paused for a moment. You scanned the area, looking for any sign of Reaper. You didn't see him, but that didn't mean much.
You stepped out from cover, raising your rifle. You caught the glint of Genji's armor on the right. You aimed at the group of the soldiers across from the crate, hoping to draw them away. Bullets sprayed throughout the room, as you weren't exactly shooting with intent to harm, more so to distract.
The soldiers reacted fairly quickly, turning toward you and grabbing their guns. As bullets began to fly toward you, you dove for cover behind a forklift. You didn't intend to use it for long, just enough time to find your next spot. You scanned the room while firing more rounds. As the soldiers moved towards you, you backtracked to your previous position.
You fired more rounds at the soldiers you were currently engaged with. One of them clutched their side, presumably from getting hit. Before you could react to that, you started hearing shots from behind you.
You rolled away from the aisle behind you, landing behind a pallete of crates set for shipment. They looked like they were to be sent alongside the package you were intercepting.
Shit. The package. You should probably check on that. "Genji, what's your status?" You said as softly as possible, hoping your intense whisper could be heard on the comms.
"I got the crate, but there's two guys by the door."
You turned to try to get a view on Genji's position before immediately ducking again. The soldiers were closing in. "Do you think one of you could help him out?" You asked before aiming your rifle again. You fired some more shots, this time more of them making contact with your adversaries.
"I got it." Mercy said. It made sense: she could glide down there and Hanzo can watch you. You scan the room quickly before moving toward the garage doors on the opposite side of the building where Mercy and Genji were. You were about to cover for your allies before your comm blared in your ear: "Y/N-"
That's all you needed. You turned around, swinging your gun around to knock a black shotgun out of the way. Reaper.
All you heard was your heart beating out of your chest. You made an attempt to push him back with the gun, trying to get as much distance between the two of you. In response, he aimed his other shotgun. You instinctively dodged, dropping down and attempting to roll away. This is what Reaper wanted, however, as in the process he knocked you off balance.
Breaking the silence, Angela chimed in through your earpiece. "Bad news, there's a lot more guys out here than we expected. Do you think you cou-"
You didn't have time to talk. You were trying to regain your footing while avoiding getting shot. You were obviously a bit occupied. Hanzo, however, was not having it. "They're a little busy Angela!" He snapped.
Even if you did have time to respond, Reaper decided that you weren't going to. When you stood up, his hand connected with your throat, shoving you against the garage door behind you. The metal sheet dented around you slightly, and the impact knocked the wind out of your lungs.
Hanzo didn't waste time, grabbing an arrow from his quiver and drawing the bow. He tried to calm the shaking of his hands as he lined up the shot on Reaper. He was an easy shot at the moment, seeing as he was focused on you.
"This is what happens to people who get in my way." Reaper said, his voice eerily calm. It was almost worse that way, as you didn't think it would be nearly as terrifying if he showed actual emotion. His arm moved, presumably to pull another shotgun seemingly out of thin air.
Hanzo saw this too. There wasn't much time; Reaper had you pinned by your throat, he needed to do something. He took a deep breath before releasing his hold on the string.
That should have been the end of it. But Sombra, who had been watching the agents' moves from the security cameras, had different plans.
"Watch out jefe, the archer is on the catwalk getting ready to intervene"
You were lucky Reaper's mask hid the sick grin that was plastered on his face. It probably would have haunted your nightmares, though his mask wasn't much better. He let out a low chuckle before dematerializing.
Air filled your lungs as his grip faded, but that moment of triumph was quickly interrupted by an arrow through your stomach.
Two thoughts ran through your mind. First: oh my god. Second: Hanzo.
You instinctively squeezed your eyes shut. Observing the situation, one would assume that was your reaction to pain, but there was definitely more than that. Hanzo didn't need to see you after that. When he opened up to you about his falling out with Genji, he always mentioned how his brother's eyes haunted him for the longest time.
You weren't going to do that to him. He didn't deserve it.
Your brain was scrambling to make sense of the situation, working through pain and anxiety. One moment, the shadowy man was right in front of you, and the next think you remember, you're with Mercy. She's rushing you away from the area, and from the sounds of it, Genji was taking care of Reaper.
Stumbling alongside the medic, your hand lightly presses on the wound. You weren't convinced this was really happening until you saw the blood stained on your hand.
Everything around you was a blur, either from blood loss or anxiety. You saw the blinding headlights of the getaway vehicle.
The rest of the night happened in a blur. You didn't really remember any of it. You remember Angela starting to tend to your wound, and at some point, Genji entered the vehicle. Soon after, the vehicle started moving.
"Where's Hanzo?" You heard yourself say, even though you didn't remember saying it.
Genji's answer faded out, not really hearing any of it. You thought you were dying, that was your instant thought. However, you saw Angela with an empty syringe. Before you could realize that she had given you a sedative, your vision failed you and you slipped into unconsciousness.
-
As your eyes began to flutter open, you questioned why they made hospital lighting so harsh. You let your vision adjust to the bright fluorescent lights, looking around the room. To your surprise, it was empty.
You tried to shift to sit up, forgetting that you had just gotten shot. You winced, groaning in pain and annoyance before giving up and laying back. You fished around for the remote on the bed, pressing the button to call the nurse.
The next few days went by in a blur. Your sleep schedule was wrecked from the pain meds, so you hardly knew what time it was. Hell, you weren't even sure how long it had been after the mission.
Angela visited you regularly. She would change your bandages as gently as she could, and you would pretend she wasn't hurting you. You were still hooked up to an IV, receiving pain meds, antibiotics, and fluids.
Genji visited twice, you think. At least two times that you remember. He didn't stay for too long, he mostly came by to see if he could get you anything from your room. You usually said no, since you weren't doing much else than sleeping. However, sometimes when you woke up, you'd see a book on the nightstand.
Genji didn't realize that you couldn't actually reach the nightstand without hurting yourself, but it was the though that counted.
You faintly remembered Hana and Lena stopping in, and Reinhardt might have stopped in. Or it was a dream. You couldn't tell.
Notably, though, Hanzo hadn't stopped in. That terrified you. You tried to ask Angela about him, but she brushed you off. That made it worse.
He was probably beating himself up about it, and God knows if he had been taking care of himself. You would hope Genji would be checking up on him, but your boyfriend was stubborn. Knowing that he was probably freaking out hurt worse than the wound.
Once you were starting to feel a bit better, you tried convincing Angela to let you go up to his room.
"No, y/n. I don't know how well walking for that long would go, I know you've been having trouble walking around the ward with the physical therapist-"
You sighed, trying not too seemed too annoyed. Sure, this was not the outcome you wanted, but the doctor in front of you was probably the only reason you were alive.
"Angela please, you can have someone take me up in a wheelchair or something. I can get up at his door and go in and sit or something. Please? I just need to make sure he's okay."
She looked you over intently. She still wasn't convinced by your proposal, but she knew you well enough. If she didn't accept the deal, you'd probably go without her knowledge. She would come in for your next vitals check and see an empty bed and your IV pulled out.
She sighed before admitting defeat. "Fine. But you have to come back down here within an hour. I need to administer your last dose of antibiotics, and I want to check the wound to make sure you didn't pop a stitch or something." She said as she disconnected you from the IV pole.
You thanked her as she hurried out of the room. You made a mental note to get her a gift for putting up with you. As you maneuvered to sit up, a nurse came in with a wheelchair. You hadn't actually intended using the wheelchair (as you more or less just mentioned it to convince Angela). But with how painful it was to sit up, you figured you'd take the help. After all, you did need to actually make it up to his room.
The journey to Hanzo's room was mostly silent. You didn't exactly know what to say, seeing as the situation didn't really fit small talk. Plus, you hadn't been doing much of anything since your injury, so you really didn't have much to talk about regardless.
The awkward silence continued the whole way to his room, until you broke it. "I'm gonna get up and walk to the room, if you don't mind." You were only a few feet away from his room, and if you couldn't make it there you might as well be able to get back to medway easier. The nurse obliged, putting on the brakes of the chair.
You shakily stood up, and it went a lot better than you thought it would. Walking definitely caused some pain, but you were also shot with a literal arrow; that was expected. You made it to the door, knocking on it lightly.
Nothing.
You should have guessed that.
You knocked a little louder. You had a gut feeling he was in there; either that or the universe really wanted to waste your time.
Still nothing.
You knocked one more time before you heard his voice.
"Genji, what the hell do you w-" He snapped as he opened the door, quickly stopping once he noticed your form in the doorway.
The sight of him, however, could have broken you. He looked like a wreck. His hair was messily tied back. He clearly looked like he hadn't slept since the mission, which you knew could have been mostly true. He also, most notably, looked as if he was trying to pretend he hadn't been crying. His eyes were glassy and his eyes slightly red. You'd never actually seen him cry before, as Hanzo has a bad habit of bottling everything up. So seeing him in this state was nearly heartbreaking.
"Shouldn't you still be on bedrest?" He asked. His question almost seemed cold, but you had an idea what he meant. It seemed like he had been trying to postpone talking to you for as long as he could. Hence why he didn't visit your room.
"It's a nurse sanctioned event, I promise." You said with a light chuckle. You gesture down the hallway to the nurse waiting for you. You watched Hanzo's unenthused gaze switch over to her as she gave a small wave. "Can I come in?"
He looked back to you, trying to gauge the situation. Realizing he didn't exactly have a way out, he stepped back to allow you in.
You closed the door behind you, following him into the dorm. Considering the circumstances, his room was more tidy than you would expect it to be, but it certainly wasn't up to Hanzo's usual standards.
You pulled the chair from the rarely used desk, sitting down while pretending it didn't hurt. You didn't seem like you convinced him.
He sat on one of the cushions adorning the floor. Normally, you would of sat on one of those as well, but in this situation, you didn't think you would be able to stand up again.
The silence hung over the room.
Surprisingly, Hanzo was the first to speak.
"I'm sor-"
You cut him off before he got to finish. "You don't need to apologize"
"Yes I do."
"No, you really don't."
"I almost killed you."
"We both know it was an accident."
"You could have died because of me. Because I screwed up."
"Hanzo-"
"Trust me, y/n. I've been going over the situation for the past week or so." He cut you off. "I even got the surveillance feed, and I've been pouring over the footage. I could have shot first instead of warning you, or I could have helped Mercy and Genji so Mercy could go back to you or-"
He continued on like this, rattling off different scenarios. He got more and more upset about it as he went on.
"Hanzo." You said louder, reaching to put an arm on his shoulder. This got him to stop. He slowly pulled himself away from the train of thought, gaze centering on you with a breath.
"I understand you're upset, and but don't be upset at yourself because you think I'm upset at you. Because I'm not. You couldn't have known what was going to happen. Sure, you're an extremely skilled archer and an amazing warrior. But you can't see the future."
You paused for a moment, looking over him. His eyes were trained on the floor, tears threatening to spill from them.
Before you could continue, he spoke. "Why wouldn't you look at me after it happened?"
"What do you mean?" You asked softly. The night was a bit of a blur for obvious reasons, so you didn't exactly know what meant.
He looked up at you, being serious about it. "You wouldn't even look at me. Like you were..." He paused, thinking of the right word. "Ashamed." His gaze fell once he found the word.
It slowly clicked for you. The memory got a little less hazy. "I know that's what it seemed like, but I promise it wasn't." You started. You took a shaky breath, trying to not be overcome by your own emotions.
"I remember when you talked about what happened with Genji," you said, skirting around explaining that any further. "That you couldn't get his eyes out of your head." You trailed off.
You had the feeling that he knew what you were going to say.
"I didn't want to do that to you." You said, voice dropping just above a whisper.
You two made eye contact, and when you did, you both gave a light laugh, seeing the other in their emotional state.
"I think this conversation went well." He said. You chuckled softly, wiping a stray tear from your face.
"Oh, absolutely." You quipped back. Earning a laughed from him.
You looked at your watch, wondering how serious Angela was about the hour time limit she allotted for you.
Yeah she would probably kill you.
"As much as I would love nothing more than to sit here and say the most sappy, romantic things I can think of, I need to get back to my room."
He narrowed his eyes at you. "I thought this was a nurse sanctioned event?"
"Wow." You said, becoming mockingly offended. "Did you really think I would lie to you?"
Hanzo smirked. "I think you would casually bend the truth."
"Yeah you're probably right." You conceded. "But I promise it was. Dr. Zeigler was very strict about having an hour time limit, and I don't think now is a good time to make her mad."
He laughed lightly. It was a wonderful sight.
You offered him your hand, getting a stupid grin when he clasped his fingers around yours. You led him out of the room. The nurse was no longer there, and you assumed she was paged for something more important for waiting for the lovebirds to leave the room.
As you walked down to the infirmary, you made casual small talk. Hanzo talked about how annoying his younger brother had been (even if he knew Genji had his best intentions in mind), and you complained about the hospital food you'd been having.
Sure, there was a lot more you two needed to talk about.
But thanks to Dr. Zeigler... you both had plenty of time for that.

Could I request headcannons with Cassidy, Hanzo, Genji and Reaper with a male s/o who's really anxious? I've has really bad anxiety lately and I'd really like this, thank you!
Overwatch Headcannons with an anxious male s/o
TW: mentions of anxiety, overwhelming thoughts, throwing up, panic attacks,
A/N: Hi anon! I’m really sorry for the late response, life has been a little too busy lately, and I have been suffering from good ol’ writers block. point is, I’m back! I hope you like these head cannons! I tried my best!
also…I hope you’re feeling better! I understand completely how you feel, anxiety is truly something hard to get through and deal with, and nobody should ever have to go through that. My dm’s are always open if you want to talk about it! I hope you’re ok anon! you can get thru this, ur not alone!
With all that being said, here you go !
Cassidy
- Now, cassidy isn’t the smartest of the bunch, but he was able to detect your anxious tendencies from a mile away.
- Initially he thought you were just jumpy.
- But after looking into it a little more, he finds out that you have anxiety.
- It wasn’t like Cassidy hasn’t experienced his fair share of anxious hiccups, he knew what it was like.
- To an outsider, it may seem unexpected that a man as put together and suave as Cassidy could have an anxiety attack.
- But it was true, he cracks every now and then, just like everybody else.
- However, Cass never had anybody to comfort or help him through it.
- He feels terrible watching you cry. His heart breaks for you.
- and unfortunately, Cass is quite awkward when it comes to comforting crying people.
- Back in highschool, when his partners broke down crying—what he usually did was stare them down and cough at the awkward silence until they stopped. In short, he did little to console them.
- He was determined to help you get through this though! Especially when you were comfortable enough to open up to him about it.
- And because of that, he tries his best to help you through it.
- (Sombra is definitely confused when she snooped in his search history)
- “How to help anxiety person”
- He probably cracks some goofy jokes to keep everything lighthearted.
- He’s a good person to have around when you need a distraction from your thoughts.
- Over time I feel like he’d become more skillful at comforting, now that he’s more knowledgeable on the topic.
- He knows when to be serious though, if you were to have a panic attack, he’d drop everything and just hold you close to him.
- He’d reassure you that everything is okay.
- “I’ve gotcha darlin’. Let it all out.”
- You’re with him now, after all.
- likes to wrap his arms around you, while gently stroking your head.
- even when he’s busy with overwatch business, he finds time to stay supportive.
- Now, when you guys first started dating, Cass was really big on going out.
- He’d take you out to have a drink at the bar, to the movies, karaoke, etc.
- All very loud, bustling and lively atmospheres.
- but then, he noticed the way you shrunk from the crowd,
- he noticed how you’d get overwhelmed by all the different noises and unwanted stimulation.
- of course, after that, dates with him changed.
- He decided to take another approach.
- Nowadays, you guys usually do one to one activities. He’d take you to a park so you two can have a picnic, a walk along the beach, stargazing.
- Just anything that he thought would comfort you.
- very sweet to you.
- he’d never make you do something you didn’t want to do.
- he’ll switch things up if you get anxious because of it.
- If you were ever anxious about you both being guys and out together, Cassidy would not have it.
- no no, that can’t do.
- Cassidy will definitely reassure you that he doesn’t care that your a guy, and it doesn’t make him love you any less.
- and if people have a problem with that then…
- To hell with them!
- He doesn’t mind how many times you want to hear it, he’ll reassure you until your convinced.
- soft forehead kisses make everything feel better.
- Very understanding!
Hanzo
- hanzo on the other hand…
- he is someone who has had to live through guilt all his life.
- he had to tough it out, as he was the eldest in his family, he was trained to be an untouchable being, a Shimada was a big name to live up to, he had to adopt many skills and many hobbies throughout his younger years.
- Even when he tried his best,
- even when he murdered his own brother.
- It still wasn’t good enough.
- “Tears are for the weak, never let anything get to you, Hanzo. You are a Shimada. Act like it.”
- he is no stranger to anxiety, he knows how it feels to have your thoughts eating you away.
- much like Cassidy, he never had anybody to reassure him, he never had anybody to comfort him or tell him everything is ok.
- However, compared to Cassidy he fails in the comforting department.
- how he learns you have anxiety?
- Hanzo likes to people watch,
- it’s a habit of his.
- He noticed right away, just by the way you held yourself up.
- He is so lost on what to do with this information.
- he wants to help, he really does.
- But he has no clue how to approach you about it
- he’d rather die than ask for advice, so he decided to man up and question you on it.
- his suspicions were correct.
- Hanzo may not be the best at comforting, but he is an extremely good listener.
- You won’t ever have to worry about rambling, or getting lost in thought.
- He is very patient, he will listen to all of your worries.
- Although, it isn’t always the best. At times it feels like he’s brushing you off— it feels like he’s uncomfortable.
- He really isn’t!
- “…I apologize Y/N. I did not mean to come off that way.”
- He was never a people person, speaking to people and offering words of comfort— it wasn’t his forte.
- he grows more protective of you— but not in an overbearing way.
- He becomes protective in a way that screams ‘I’m right behind you every step of the way, and I will not allow anybody to hurt you.’
- if he notices you’re uncomfortable, he’ll hesitantly— but gently, hold your hand and ask if you’d like to leave to a more calmer place.
- He’s always right by your side.
- He tries his best to comfort you through physical affections.
- He isn’t the best with words, after all.
- His hand is always open to hold.
- Warm and reassuring hands.
- his hands are definitely calloused and have little scars littering them from the harsh training he had put himself through his entire life.
- definitely writes formal letters to you while he’s on missions,
- “Dear Y/N,”
- he just wants to check up on you 😭
- but sir…you have a phone, just message your boyfriend⁉️
- gentle face-touching.
- hugs and cuddles when he’s lost in what to say.
- definitely not big on going out.
- he’d enjoy more introverted-style dates, he enjoys a more simplistic environment.
- There is beauty in simplicity after all.
- he makes your dates perfect for the two of you,
- he prepares the best homemade dinner dates in history.
- He’s just so?? Good?? At everything???
- ( not everything, but you get my point !)
- makes the most scrumptious food ever.
- he may not seem like it, but he’s very maternal when it comes to caring for you.
- definitely makes you deserts to try to ease your anxiety.
- cookies, brownies, cheesecake, you name it!
- his food slowly becomes your guilty pleasure, but he doesn’t need to know that.
- All in all, very helpful if you want somebody to hold you, and listen to your concerns and thoughts, no matter how small or big.
Genji
- now admittedly, I firmly believe that Genji will be the most helpful in these situations.
- After Hanzo carried out the assassination attempt against him. He had suffered for a long time trying to accept his cybernetic body, accepting that he is man and machine combined, overcoming his feelings of hatred for Hanzo, overcoming his depression, waking up in cold sweats due to anxiety, his PTSD and nightmares intertwined, forgiving his brother, everything.
- all of these men have been in very dark times in their life, they are no stranger to the overwhelming rush of thoughts bartering in their heads.
- But despite all of that, Genji understands.
- Not that the others don’t, Genji just gets it on a deeper level.
- He truly feels you from the bottom of his soul.
- He can see you, he knows it hurts.
- “It’s not just a feeling, it’s physical.”
- There used to be nights where he threw up from how anxious he felt.
- Nevertheless, he overcame the hurdles life threw at him.
- With the help of his master, Zenyatta, of course.
- He picked up many healthy habits, and he knows how to put them to good use.
- It wouldn’t take long for him to find out about your anxiety.
- He is a great person to go to when your overwhelmed and upset.
- Genji never fails to lend you a shoulder to cry on.
- He’ll stay silent when you vent to him, he understands that all you need is somebody to listen.
- “Everything is alright.”
- “I’m here.”
- Definitely invites you to meditate with him.
- Even if it’s a short resolve, he hopes that silencing your thoughts —even for a little while— will help.
- In the situation where you cry or have a panic attack, Genji definitely resists the urge to envelope you into a hug. He doesn’t want to overwhelm you.
- He sits beside you and helps you control your breathing.
- He knows this method, and he used it a lot when he felt that he was losing control.
- It was called the 5-4-3-2-1 technique. Find five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste.
- It was a great technique for grounding yourself. It was a good reminder that your okay, and once you deviate your focus away from what is plaguing your thoughts — it’ll be alright.
- He will stay with you for as long as necessary.
- Afterwards, he will steal that hug from you !
- He is willing to help you with whatever concerns you have.
- Need water? He’s already filling up your water bottle.
- Do you want to vent? He’ll listen to you with all his attention focused on you.
- Do you want some peace and quiet? He understands. Just remember that he’s here, and he’s not going anywhere.
- Despite his understanding nature. There are times where you can’t tell if he’s messing with you or if he’s being serious.
- He is being 100% serious.
- He definitely drops random pieces of advice at different times.
- You could be in the toilet and he’ll just be like…
- “Y/N, I understand what you were upset about yesterday— your desire to take action is present and well-intentioned, however, every time you move, anxiety tightens it’s grip and-“
- ???
- HE’S IN THE TOILET. Genji please.
- He’s very metaphorical — he got it from Zenyatta.
- Sometimes it gets out of hand though.
- *sees a soda can rolling by*
- “Do you ever feel that you are that soda-can, y/n? Unable to stop moving despite being exhausted from the rush of adrenaline. You feel as if you have no control…”
- He isn’t wrong but…it’s just so unwarranted and RANDOM???
- In all seriousness though!
- Genji is very helpful to you,
- he feels peace with himself now. he wants you to be at peace with your mind as well.
- He’ll hold you gently if you’d like.
- And he’ll do it for as long as it takes, and even after that, he won’t stop trying his best to help you.
- Gentle caresses on your back and sweet kisses feathered on your hand.
Reaper/Gabriel
Gabriel:
- now if we’re talking about Gabriel.
- I feel that even though he may not fully understand your feelings, it didn’t mean he didn’t sympathize with you.
- he tries his best to understand you when you vent to him.
- your somebody special to him, and he doesn’t want to see you suffering.
- he tries his best to help, even if it’s not as extravagant as the others.
- he crouches down next to you, and holds your face in his hands, cradling you steadily.
- he murmurs reassuring words to you.
- he asks you if there is anything you need, and once your feeling better he’d go get it right away.
- he’d probably offer to go on a walk with you. he’ll buy you a snack and drinks along the way.
- as you two walk, the gentle breeze brushing though the two of you gives you pleasant shivers down your spine. It’s therapeutic really.
- definitely also enjoys going on rides in his car, it helps him center and ground himself when he needs to blow off steam.
- ‘it might have to the same affect on him.’ He thought.
- he’d take you with him, and you’ll both just be driving in his car. he’d play music of your choice because he isn’t very big on listening to music himself.
- a hug? his arms are wrapped around you in a second.
- he’s quick to tell you how proud he is of you.
- you are his number one.
- Gabriel probably heats up a nice, warm bath for you later on.
- his bathtub is quite large, so there’s room for him to join you if that would make you feel better.
- I feel like he’d try to encourage you to try to overcome something your anxious about.
- For example, if your scared ordering alone in a restaurant.
- he’d be behind you for support, and if he saw that you were struggling he’d swoop in to save you.
- he won’t force you of course.
- he just wants to help you feel more comfortable doing things.
- he’d definitely introduce you to his overwatch buddies if you’re comfortable.
- he values his work, and it’s extremely important to him, but he’s willing to put it aside occasionally. just for you!
- he’s always holding your hand.
- at first, your confused why everybody is so shocked that your dating him.
- until you saw the way he acts with his subordinates and trainees.
- he is one strict commander!
- your his soft spot, as much as he’d hate to admit it.
- your one of the only people who get to experience the soft side of Gabriel.
- He loves you a lot.
Reaper (sad :( feel free to skip !)
- now, this one might be a little painful to hear, but I really don’t think reaper is capable of comforting or truly showing love for someone at this point in his life. (Feel free to skip this part!)
- He isn’t the same Gabriel he was before.
- he was always confident in himself and in his actions
- he’d experienced anxiety a long long time ago, when he was still…Himself.
- but now? All he experienced was perpetual pain, the constant feeling of the cells in his body splitting every second, no ending in sight.
- It does not mean he didn’t experience guilt.
- but that wasn’t exactly the same, now was it?
- I’d imagine that he wouldn’t be the best to go to.
- no- actually, he’d be the worst to go to.
- reaper is a hard shell.
- he has zero idea on how to deal with emotion.
- how could he? he couldn’t even understand his own, or even fathom how to deal with it.
- if you were to cry, he’d stand and stare at you for a couple of seconds before walking away, giving you space— even if your fingertips yearned his touch.
- he isn’t much of a physical person anymore.
- if you were to hug him, he’d immediately go stiff before pushing you off.
- physical affection really freaks him out.
- he just isn’t affectionate in general.
- rarely, he’ll force himself if you really need it. but he isn’t a kisser, a hugger or any of that— not anymore.
- The extent his affection will go is giving you attention, stroking your head or letting you sit on his lap.
- it isn’t a fun time.
- he has grown into a cruel, and merciless man.
- but he isn’t heartless.
- I feel like, if you ever found comfort in wearing his clothes, he’d definitely leave them out for you. (his old clothes, like his beanie, or maybe even his hooded cloak that he mainly wears)
- checks on you, but you barely catch him do it.
- his footsteps are extremely quiet, it’s as if there’s a ghost in your house.
- definitely gets SO pissed when he finds you crying because somebody hurt you.
- that’s something he will not tolerate.
- he stays quiet when your crying but…
- the minute he has the chance, that person will meet their demise.
- “um…gabe, i just heard that…that the person went missing last night, did something happen?”
- it really doesn’t seem like it, but he still cares about you deep down.
- However.
- work comes first, and unfortunately, you will be the second choice in his eyes.
- that fact doesn’t stop him from getting you small trinkets or souvenirs that he thinks will amuse you or keep you calm for a period of time.
- he wants you to move on from him.
- he feels that you’re just wasting your time continuing to stick around and wait for him to reciprocate your love.
- he knows your in a fragile place, so he will push himself to be more supportive.
- all that he can muster.
- (which isn’t a lot 😧 but at least it’s SOMETHING.)
- yeah…It’s upsetting, but that’s my best guess on how he’ll act as reaper.

hi, first of all I LOVE YOU AND YOUR WRITING SO MUCH!!! may i request general headcanons of raiden, kuai, hanzo, and whoever you want if you feel like it, having a crush on someone who's an indie singer and has a super soft and sweet voice? thank you ♡ expecting this to be super adorbs
Thank you so much!!! 😭Absolutely!! +Bonus Kabal because I just love him a lot! ❤❤❤
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Raiden
Your voice captivated him like a little moth to a flame- so sweet and gentle
Often times he’d find himself just listening to you when you’re practicing, enjoying the way you’d sometimes laugh to yourself when you’d hit a bump in the song
The way your voice blended oh so softly with the music made him forget whatever he was worried about, your songs quickly becoming a comfort to him
If you ever needed equipment, he’d go out of his way to help you get anything you needed
And regardless of when they took place, he’d always show up to your shows just to hear you and make sure you knew he supported you
As the show drew to an end and people began to leave, he approached you backstage, telling you how amazing you were. He helped you get your things put away, continuing to remind you that no matter what anyone else had to say, he knew you had amazing talent- and would remind you of that any time you doubted yourself. With everything put away he pulled you close, offering to celebrate your first show’s success in any way you’d like, regardless of what time it was or where you wanted to go.
Tumblr media
Kuai Liang
He remembers listening to music as a kid, though what kind it was he couldn’t remember, and sometimes he misses those days
The first time he heard you practicing he was a little surprised, not expecting your voice to be so smooth and sweet- completely captivated by your little performance
After the next few times he hears you, he wasn’t sure if he should say something or not, unsure if it’d make you anxious
Though he never said anything for some time, he’d make it known that he’s heard you in a non-vocal way, such as leaving little encouraging notes on your equipment where he knew you’d see them
The more you play the more he comes to prefer the sound of you practicing over the silence he used to live with, especially when trying to rest or meditate
His face lit up and his cheeks turned a bit pink when he realized the song you were singing to yourself was about him. Not once did he expect you to do anything of the sort for him, but it regardless made his heart jump. It made him feel as though the room was warmed by a summer night rather than a cool autumn one, his face slowly turning redder as the lyrics began to fully sink in. When you were done you found he was standing in the doorway of your little music room, looking soft as ever before he spoke up and saying he was honored that you made him the subject of one of your songs.
Tumblr media
Hanzo
While he wasn’t really one for music himself, he understood your passion, helping you set up a little room for your recording and practicing
Despite this though, he found himself quietly listening to you play while he’d be reading or generally resting depending on the time of day
Sometimes in when he thinks you’re not in earshot, or he’s not paying too close attention in general he’ll start humming whatever tune of yours that’s stuck in his head
Your music begins to become his favorite thing to hear, to a point where he’ll pretend to be meditating or asleep just to hear you play without being interrupted
When he feels brave enough, he’ll openly admit to you how much your music really changed how he went about his day, finding it more peaceful when he’s heard you recently
Though he felt he needed to show just how much he appreciated your passion, opting to show it by quietly showing up to a little show you’d put on back in your hometown. While he was a bit out of place amongst the other people there he didn’t care, only focusing on how perfect you sounded. The whole show you were just perfect in his eyes, finding it to be one of the more peaceful moments he’d had in a long time. Seeing all your practice paying off, having known you’d go so, so far- and that you’ll keep going strong.
Tumblr media
Kabal
When he heard you were into the indie music scene, he could help but perk up, having been really into the scene when he was a kid
He himself never really sang, but he did his little gig in a ragtag group in high school playing the drums
Your natural little talent had him enamored, him often telling you that you had to be his personal angel sounding so stunning
He’d helped set up a little recording space just for you, getting any equipment you needed, and the comfiest seats he could find
One birthday of yours he’d brought you a new guitar with a custom paint job, your name so carefully painted on in your favorite color
When he passed by your recording zone, he overheard the song you were working on, it being about two little birds that abandoned the flock to have a better, quieter life together- a reference to him leaving the Black Dragon in order to find something better for the both of you. He’d only ever wanted to give you a quieter life, away from the constant irritation and interruptions; not knowing this had made such an impact on you. But it made him smile as he leaned against the doorframe to continue listening, silently promising you he’d make sure the two of you always had this peace.
And now a scene from the as of yet untitled WIP that is Marionette 2:
(For @idonttakeshipsseriously and @bloody-arty-myths 😘)
((Fuck me I Forgot to thank the bestie @hey-michael-young-history for proof reading literally everything I write 🥰🥰🥰))
Kuai Liang didn't have a nest.
There was a space for it, in their bedroom. But the area was bare except for a single round cushion.
Sakura had seen plenty of abused omegas in her time. And not having a nest was always indicative of deep trauma.
He didn't feel safe. Even in his own home with his alpha.
Still, she asked Kuai Liang if he would prefer to sit there. She could see him trying to figure out the correct answer.
"Here," Hanzo retrieved the lone, white pillow and gave it to Kuai who immediately hugged it to his chest. "Why don't you sit on the bed?" He suggested.
Kuai carefully sat on the edge of their bed while Hanzo stood next to him in quiet support.
Sakura proceeded to take his vitals, wordlessly taking in the scarring along his back and the scar tissue where a mating gland was supposed to be.
This man had been through far too much.
"Does this scar tissue hurt?" She asked. "I have ointments that could help alleviate the pain."
"It's not that bad," Kuai said.
"Ah, but it is some degree of bad. So I will be prescribing you medicine for it."
Kuai looked at her like she was some incredible puzzle to solve. "...Thank you."
"You are most welcome," she pat his hand.
"Now," she sat across from him in a chair Hanzo had brought over. "I believe I know what is causing your symptoms." She glanced at Hanzo, "You have a seat too, dear."
Hanzo's eyes widened and he hurriedly sat beside Kuai Liang, taking his hand. It would have been adorable, if Sakura wasn't quietly concerned about how Kuai would react.
"Kuai Liang, you are pregnant."
Kuai blinked at her. "That is impossible."
"Why do you say that?" She asked gently.
His brow furrowed. After a long moment he said, "The Elders told me I was infertile." His breath started coming quicker and his pheromones which had been shocked into silence were building in a maelstrom of anger and confusion.
Hanzo put a hand on his back, but Kuai flinched, standing and stalking off to the other side of the room.
Sakura raised a hand when Hanzo tried to follow. "Kuai Liang, did they tell you how they knew this? Did they examine you?"
"They…I don't remember. When I presented…" he hugged himself, skin shimmering with frost.
"Did they give you anything?" She continued. "Food or medicine?"
At that, Kuai looked up at her. His eyes were piercing blue. "They always gave me this one herbal tea…" he looked away, far into the past. "Even if I was on food restriction. Someone made sure I had it."
"Do you remember what it tasted like?" She carefully took a step towards him.
"It was bitter," he said with distaste. "It…made me nauseous."
Sakura sucked in a slow breath. "It sounds like they infused the tea with a contraceptive herb. Depending on the herb, it can temporarily sterilize you for the duration you are taking it."
Kuai's lips parted in shock. "I…" he swallowed, eyes glistening. He looked at Hanzo, "I'm sorry-" his voice thinned. "I swear I didn't lie to you. I didn't know." His lips quivered and he leaned against the wall, shuddering.
Hanzo was at his side in an instant, holding his face. "I know," Hanzo said, voice painfully soft. "I'm not upset with you, Kuai Liang."
Kuai Liang closed his eyes, a sob wrenching out of him. Hanzo pulled him into an embrace, holding him close as he cried.
Hanzo's pheromones were a warm honeyed layer of soothing reassurance and Sakura struggled to keep her eyes open as she watched them.
Eventually Kuai quieted, an uneven purr in his chest. The tang of anger had mellowed out, leaving his scent drowning in rainfall.
"Hanzo," he said, "Hanzo I'm-" he started crying again. Hanzo merely hummed, rubbing his back as he gently swayed them.
Sakura smiled softly. Hanzo was someone who loved with all of his heart. He was the only kind of alpha for Kuai Liang.
She waited patiently, letting Kuai Liang calm down once more. Eventually Hanzo guided him to lie down on their bed.
Sakura came over and patted Kuai's arm. "I know this is overwhelming. If you like, I will let you rest now and we can discuss your options tomorrow."
Kuai frowned. "Options?" Hanzo stiffened beside her, the briefest plume of distress escaping him.
"Yes," she let instinct take over and smoothed Kuai's hair back. He sighed, relief cooling his scent.
Her heart ached.
"You don't have to have this baby if you don't want to. You are only around two months. There is still time to terminate."
Kuai Liang looked at her, calculating. And then he looked over at Hanzo. "I…You want another child."
Hanzo sighed, "I will not lie to you and say I haven't dreamt of it." He reached over, cupping Kuai's face. "But the decision is yours Kuai Liang. If you do not want a child now, or ever, I will support you."
Kuai sighed deeply, rubbing his eyes. "I don't know what to do," he confessed quietly. "I didn't even know this was possible."
"That's alright, dear," Sakura said. "Take some time to think about it." She reached into her bag and pulled out a couple of books. "And read these." She placed them on the nightstand. "And please ask me anything at all. You are not a bother," she smiled, patting his cheek.
Kuai nodded.
"Thank you, Sakura-chan," Hanzo said, eyes bright. She offered him an understanding smile.
"My pleasure, Grandmasters."
Tortilla trend as my fave Overwatch ships let’s go!
Symmetra & Ashe
Zero interest in participating all together. Ashe doesn’t want her makeup ruined and Satya thinks the idea of being slapped in general even with a tortilla is unpleasant. Neither want to clean up the mess afterwards.
Mei & Zarya
Zarya just play taps mei with the tortilla while giggling the whole time. Both spit out the water and break down into a proper giggle fit.
Genji & Zenyatta
They’d get as far as Genji explaining the premise of the trend and zenyatta would go into comfort mode concerned as to why his boyfriend would wish to be slapped not understanding it’s a game and won’t hurt. Zenyatta would definitely turn the tortillas into genjis dinner for the next few nights.
Genji & Angela
Genji would be giggling non stop gently tapping angela with the tortilla trying to make her laugh. Angela would severely underestimate her own strength and slap Genji into the windows startup sound. Apology Kisses and healthy salad wraps would follow.
Genji & Cole
Yes Genji has a bunch because I ship him with supportive people okay! He deserves it!
Zero hesitation. Knowing genjis reflexes Cole would be quick off the draw to strike first. Genji wouldn’t even get a chance to finish putting the water in his mouth before getting smacked with a limp flatbread and be left reeling trying to figure out what just happened and why so quickly. Cole would 100% spray out his water in a giggle fit and pepper Genji with kisses as an apology for startling him. Coles famous burritos would definitely be the following meal.
Hanzo & Cole
Hanzo definitely underestimated how ready Cole might be and would slap hard and without hesitation sending the cowboy spinning. Cole would rebound fast though and slap him back mid twirl before taking him to the ground with him. Floor kisses and giggles would absolutely follow! Cole would definitely make soft tacos with them.
Hanzo & Doomfist
Absolutely not happening. Of the two of them Hanzo would probably be the one to suggest it but fearing even the slightest chance of hurting his boyfriend akande would decline… the two have instead found fun in hiding the tortillas in random places around base.
Hanzo & Reinhardt
Reinhardt would without question be the one to suggest it wanting nothing more than to make Hanzo laugh. Hanzo would sheepishly give the weakest slap he could not wanting to even think about hurting his boyfriend to which Reinhardt would laugh and rear back like he’s going in for the kill only to instead drop the tortilla and scoop Hanzo up peppering him with kisses until the archer spits out the water in a giggle fit. Reinhardt would probably use the tortillas to make an apple and bread slice like apple Brown Betty or pocket ‘apple pies’.
Hanzo & 76
Yes he gets a bunch too the shimada brothers deserve it!!
The two are pretty aware of what the other can take and most likely wouldn’t hold back each giving one another a good slap followed by a moment of silence before both spraying out the water and laughing. 76 would most likely make the remaining tortillas into chicken and salad wraps.
Hanzo & Baptiste
Both would rather just eat the tortillas and watch a movie with some drinks. Jean loves combining Mexican and Caribbean cuisine though it often ends up a little too spicy even for Hanzos tastes. Fruity cocktails are the solution!
Hanzo & Junkrat
Junkrat would be too excited. Hanzo wouldn’t even get to sip his water before being tortillad. Definitely left the shimada reeling in stunned silence for awhile after. Nothing ratty kisses can’t fix.
Baptiste and Cole
Coles already slugged Jean once mistaking him for a talon agent when they first met, even if he thinks it’s fun he can’t bring himself to play slap his partner, it makes him remember how bad he felt after giving him such a nasty hit. Both would rather enjoy the tortillas as food instead.
Jack & Gabe
Absolutely zero hesitation. Both go in for the kill and go hard only to end up spraying each other with water and snorting with laughter. Neither feel like cooking so they probably used expired ones from the cafeteria and decided to have some fun before throwing them.
December 16th, 2021 4:16am
Took a break from writing (and sleeping, obviously) to find more WIPs.
I had a dream a while back of Ace Attorney Hanzo in a suit YES, a suit, and it was pretty fantastic. So I wrote this over the course of a couple of days and didn’t like the direction because, once again, far too soft Kuai Liang. I need to just allow myself to indulge already.
It’s a long one because, seriously, Hanzo Hasashi in a suit.
A New Friend
He knew that he would stick out here, that he didn’t belong.
Kuai Liang kept his face as neutral as possible as the senior partner concluded his speech and began to shake hands with the freshly hired attorneys, welcoming each to the firm by name.
He couldn’t help but smile when he heard his brother’s name. Kuai Liang had chosen a corner in the back of the room to observe and stay out of everyone’s path. He had enough experience with these events to know that the less attention he attracted, the better. But he wouldn’t miss the opportunity to support his brother’s accomplishments. He had missed out on Bi-Han graduating college and law school. Despite that, Bi-Han still took him in when he had nowhere else to go, so the least Kuai Liang could do was put aside his discomfort and support him.
He could imagine how proud Bi-Han looked now and, for a moment, wished he could get closer, to actually see him. But he didn’t need to be reminded that his presence was only barely tolerated here- the woman who checked him in had avoided looking at him, and when she couldn’t, her eyes lingered at his scar, the ugly scar that dragged along the right side of his face.
No matter how nicely he was dressed, no matter how polite he was, people reacted to the scar, and it always made him self-conscious.
“I never want to see you hiding it. You have nothing to be ashamed of.”
Bi-Han insisted on this when Kuai Liang came to live with him. He had mastered hiding it, using makeup to soften it, to the point where his brother hadn’t noticed until he had forgotten to lock the bathroom door one day.
From there, he had put two and two together and focused on getting Kuai Liang to do something other than sit in the tiny apartment they now shared.
He didn’t know how Bi-Han had become so successful, considering how harsh and cold he was with other people. He hadn’t seen his older brother in ten years, when he initially refused to take him, leaving him in foster care until he aged out.
Kuai Liang shook his head and clapped as everyone else did. A few heads turned his way, so he clapped softer until everyone finished, and the senior partner invited everyone to enjoy the night. The ceremony was over, and he hoped Bi-Han would be ready to go.
He stayed in the corner, watching others laugh and drink around him. This was a beautiful hotel, and this room was filled with lively people, with nice smelling food and elegant music playing. He could imagine Bi-Han in the midst of it, blending in, being part of the fun. He tried to smile, as everyone else was, but he felt everyone staring, knowing that it was fake and he didn’t belong here.
His phone vibrated, and he looked, already knowing it was his brother. There was no one to give his number to, no one who would text him. Eat something. The message was brief, but if he needed to eat, Bi-Han anticipated being here for at least another two hours.
This was expected but still disappointing. He had been in classes all day, and tomorrow was another heavy class day. He had just gotten home when Bi-Han texted him the address and the dress code. He had taken a bus to cross the city, then spent the last of his money on a cab to get to the hotel. He hadn’t asked Bi-Han for a ride home and hoped that if he agreed to stay without argument, he wouldn’t have to.
Yes. Kuai Liang’s response didn’t matter; Bi-Han just needed acknowledgment that he had received it. Now, Kuai Liang needed to find a new spot to be in. Eventually, some of these people would get drunk and try to talk to him, get him to dance, or keep him hostage with controversial opinions. He also needed to figure out an alternative, just in case Bi-Han couldn’t give him a ride home.
He put his phone back in his pocket but not before seeing a handsome stranger approaching him with two drinks.
********
Hanzo Hasashi dreaded these kinds of events.
For five years, he had attended these quarterly celebrations, beginning with his very own, and since then, he always thought it would be better suited for an email he could delete, not a night he was forced to attend.
He looked over the new hires, most fresh graduates. Families were watching, spouses mostly, and a whole lot of alcohol.
Hanzo had learned early on that these parties were notorious for hooking up, and though he had never approached anyone, colleague or otherwise, he was not averse to passing the time with some harmless flirting.
The partners always offered everyone a room. To avoid any irresponsible driving issues, they insisted. Hanzo always took it, especially on winter nights like this. No point in fighting the traffic, and it gave him an excuse to call out the next day.
His eyes swept over the room until they landed on him.
A young man standing in the back corner near the door. He stared ahead, keeping his head slightly tilted to the right with a passive face as one of the partners greeted each hire by name.
It wasn’t boredom. He listened closely to each name, leaning forward, then settling back. Every so often, he would fold his arms, muscles tightening against the clean white collared shirt, before putting them behind his back.
He was not an attorney here; he was too young. Though it was hard to assume from the lack of facial hair. He couldn’t be older than his mid-twenties.
A faint smile suddenly graced his face, causing Hanzo to turn and listen. Ah. He must be here for that hire- this one had all the makings of a golden boy, and the firm had pursued him. He wasn’t much younger than Hanzo, so he was a brother or cousin, perhaps.
He turned his attention back to the young man, smiling brighter and clapping enthusiastically. Others were smiling at him as he clapped. And why not? His smile lifted a veil and brightened his entire face. Once he noticed the attention, the young man’s face dimmed, and he slowed his applause.
He continued to listen but retrieved a phone from the pocket of the jacket he was holding. Hanzo couldn’t take his eyes off him. He didn’t check his jacket in, so either he was new to these functions, or he didn’t plan to stay long.
A flash of disappointment crossed his face, but he quickly closed the phone and put it away. His eyes looked around the room, but he didn’t move his head. Perhaps he was looking for someone.
Hanzo approached a nearby bar and carefully took two glasses. He wanted to speak with this young man. His company would surely be more interesting than the same talking points he had expected from these events.
He made his way over and was surprised at how quickly the man spotted him. He saw another flash of emotion, but it disappeared as quickly as it surfaced.
“Hello,” Hanzo began. “Would you care for a drink?”
The young man took it but turned his head even more to the right. “Thank you.”
He looked away from Hanzo and frowned at the flute he now held. Hanzo smiled.  Likely not a drinker.
“May I ask your name?”
“Kuai Liang,” he said.
“Kuai Liang,” Hanzo repeated.
He blushed immediately, and Hanzo couldn’t help but chuckle. Perhaps he was not used to others saying his name.
“Are you here with one of the recent hires?”
“Yes, my brother, Bi-Han.” At that, Kuai Liang smiled again and looked Hanzo straight in the eye. “He worked very diligently, and he is so pleased-”
He stopped speaking suddenly and touched his right cheek as though he was confirming that it was now facing Hanzo. The attorney raised an eyebrow, then furrowed them when Kuai Liang didn’t continue and instead turned to hide the right side of his face again.
He was speaking freely, and even though he wasn’t speaking of himself, he had relaxed. A conversation was starting.
Before he could think better of it, Hanzo grabbed Kuai Liang’s jaw and turned his face to see his right side.
Ah.
A scar just above his eyebrow ran over his eye, down to the bottom of his cheek. A deliberate scar. Though long healed, it broke the symmetry of Kuai Liang’s face. He couldn’t have been more than twenty-five. Who did this? Why?
Realizing how intently he was studying his face, Hanzo released his hold. “My apologies, I-”
“I have to go,” Kuai Liang said quietly. He still hadn’t looked at Hanzo and quickly put his jacket on.
“It was not my intention to--”
But Kuai Liang didn’t wait to listen. He quickly walked into the crowd, keeping his face down as he did so.
———-
His stomach was in knots.
Today of all days, he would meet someone like this stranger.
His voice kept repeating in his head. Kuai Liang. Kuai Liang. He said it so melodically, with a smile on his face. This handsome stranger had made his way to him, out of everyone there.
And he had made a fool of himself.
He sat on the fountain outside and sniffed the wine again. Still smelled sharp and unpleasant.
He would now have the awkward duty of returning the glass. Hopefully, Bi-Han wouldn’t see him do it.
Kuai Liang’s fingers reached up and traced the scar. Another person was put off by the mere sight of his face. Except this time, he had let his guard down and left his face completely open.
His chest tightened when his mind replayed it. Bi-Han was wrong about this. The scar frightened people. And that was okay because if the scar didn’t frighten them away, they would be put off by him.
“Kuai Liang.”
He looked up before he could adjust his face to the moonlight. It was the stranger walking towards him.
“I believe you dropped your phone.”
He stopped and extended the small flip phone to its owner.
“Oh…” Kuai Liang checked it, but no messages from Bi-Han. “Thank you… ah?”
“Hanzo Hasashi,” the stranger said with another smile.
“Mr. Hasashi,” Kuai Liang repeated, and Hanzo smiled a little wider.
“I apologize for making you uncomfortable. But I would like to continue conversing.” He sat next to Kuai Liang on the fountain's edge as he spoke.
He was on Kuai Liang’s right side, and knowing that Hanzo had full access to his scar made his head swim. Say something. Hanzo’s complete attention was on him.
“Bi-Han, my brother, he’s very excited about joining--”
“I have heard promising things of your brother. I wish to know more about you.”
Kuai Liang grimaced. He wanted to know about the scar. That was it. And his face would morph from pity to disgust until he had enough and would leave, whispering to other people about him.
“It can be difficult to speak freely about yourself,” Hanzo said. “I will help you. To start…"
He took the flute from Kuai Liang and teased, "Would you care for a different drink?”
“I am sorry. I did not wish to offend you when you offered it,” Kuai Liang began. “I did not want to cause trouble.”
“You do not have to accept anything offered to you if you do not want it,” Hanzo assured him.
“I do not care for the taste or the way it makes me feel,” Kuai Liang admitted. “Bi-Han believes that I need to try more. He believes it would be easier for me to relax and make friends. If I make friends, I may do better in school.”
“What school do you attend?” Hanzo asked.  He could gauge an age here.
“The… city college. I began this fall.  My finals are next week,” he said quietly. He was looking at his hands now, with his head lowered. “There are many people, and Bi-Han asks why I do not attend study groups or go to campus activities. I…”
Community College. He was at least eighteen, but he looked older.
“I shouldn't….”
“Shouldn’t?”
He clenched his hands. “I shouldn't….” He turned and looked Hanzo in the eye, a deep alluring brown. “Please forgive me, Mr. Hasashi, but how old are you?”
“Hanzo,” the older man insisted. “I am thirty.”
He looked relieved at that number which almost made Hanzo sigh in relief himself.
“I am twenty-four. When Bi-Han was my age, he was in law school. Our parents were very proud of him.” He looked down at his hands again. “They were not proud of me. They would still not be.”
“I am sure--”
“They wouldn’t,” Kuai Liang interrupted. “Please. Don’t.”
“I am proud of you,” Hanzo said even faster than he thought.
Kuai Liang looked up and smiled. “You do not know me.”
“I know that you are very supportive of your older brother. I know that you are attending school and trying your best. It is difficult to resume college once you take time after high school.”
He smiled a little wider and looked at his feet. “Thank you.”
He yawned, and Hanzo wasn’t sure what it was, but something, some kind of understanding, had passed between them.  This was beyond the harmless flirting he thought he’d partake in tonight.
He rested his hand on Kuai Liang’s back.  “Would you care to join me in my room? The night will only get cooler, and we could enjoy the privacy.”
He stood and extended his hand, fully expecting Kuai Liang to push away his hand, to politely reject the offer. But to his surprise, he looked at his phone, closed it, and took Hanzo’s hand without hesitation.
——-
Kuai Liang became a lot more chatty with alcohol in him.
Hanzo had convinced him to try a mixed drink that smelled more of fruit than alcohol. He wanted more after the first glass, but Hanzo led him to his room while the younger man smiled and spoke eagerly.
Hanzo learned a lot on that trip to his room. His parents had died when he was a teenager. His brother had already left home, and Kuai Liang was placed in foster care until he aged out and, after some years, found Bi-Han.  He was completely devoted to his brother, performing the domestic chores, handling the cooking, and listening to him reason out arguments. Their apartment was small, but he didn’t mind sleeping on the couch so Bi-Han could keep his room. Now that Bi-Han had a good job, they would look for bigger apartments so that Kuai Liang could have his own room. But he didn’t mind their apartment at all.
He didn’t like school, but Bi-Han asked him to go. He had spent the last year confined in their apartment- his choice, not Bi-Han’s, he insisted. Being outside was still a bit challenging. He almost didn’t find this hotel. English was not his first language, and he had been homeschooled, so sometimes it was difficult to remember oral directions. He didn’t have a phone with GPS capabilities and didn’t want to ask because he didn’t want to be selfish. Bi-Han had already done so much for him, letting him live there, encouraging him to go to school, and even finding a place with more rooms.
Hanzo gave him a bottle of water, which he was extremely grateful for. Kuai Liang drank the water and sat on the edge of the bed. He removed his jacket and folded it, setting it in his lap. It was as though he had trained himself to take up as little space as possible.
“You are very handsome, Mr. Hasashi,” he said. It was objectively stated as though it was a simple, undeniable fact. If it was an attempt at flirting, it was so straightforward and purely intentioned that Hanzo couldn’t help but be charmed by it.
“Hanzo,” he insisted again. “Thank you.”
Kuai Liang looked down at his jacket, then back up at Hanzo.
“Bi-Han doesn’t know,” he said.
“About?”
“Me,” Kuai Liang’s smile was gone, but the flush in his cheeks stayed. “That I… like men. I kissed another boy once.”
Alcohol-induced confessions weren’t new to Hanzo, but the guilt was so clear on his face that Hanzo couldn’t help but sit next to him.
“But I haven’t since then,” Kuai Liang insisted, and Hanzo believed him. “My parents didn’t want me around anymore. But Bi-Han didn’t want me either. I don’t know why he changed his mind, but I always wonder when he will find out.”
Kuai Liang shook his head. “My foster parents said I could tell them anything, so I told them. I still think of it, and I want to kiss again. And they didn’t want me either. But I did everything they asked, so they would forgive me. I even tried to stop thinking about it.”
Hanzo grabbed Kuai Liang by the neck and kissed him. In part to stop him from talking. And… because he sounded so resigned to the fact that he’d never kiss again. So guilty over the small pleasure of enjoying someone’s company. So afraid that the person he admired most would immediately reject him for his very human desires. He shouldn’t have touched this obviously sheltered person, but if he never saw Kuai Liang again after tonight, he wanted to send him away with good memories.
He was reassured by how quickly Kuai Liang reacted to him. He moaned and pressed closer immediately. Hanzo wrapped his arm around him as he deepened the kiss, pulling him down onto the bed.
“Swear to me that you will not tell,” Kuai Liang requested. He sat up and looked down pleadingly.
Hanzo laughed and reached to pull him down again, but Kuai Liang held firm. “Swear it.”
“I will not tell a soul,” Hanzo promised.
Kinktober Masterlist
Notes: Blimey, day 6 already u_u;; For kinky livestreaming, I think this one’s actually kinda soft and sweet. Wholesome, almost. :)
“Are you sure you want to go through with this, Hanzo?”
Kuai Liang was lucky to have a boyfriend like Hanzo. A lot of other men Kuai had dated before him started off nice but their opinions turned the second “I’m a sex worker” came out of Kuai’s lips. Hanzo was the first person who hadn’t turned away from him, or demanded that he find a new job. And Kuai was still so very grateful for that, because at the end of the day, he really enjoyed his work.
Still, being supportive of his work didn’t need to extend to what they were about to do.
Kuai specialised in livestreams, usually taking on requests from paying customers on how to have fun with himself. He was thankful his viewer base were generally respectful and polite. So when a particular viewer, who went by the username KANO, came forward with a request, it wasn’t that unusual. What was unusual was the request itself. He’d asked for breeding kink, but specifically asked that it was Kuai’s boyfriend doing the breeding, and that most of the details were up to them, but Kuai had to be wearing high heels and Hanzo was to be vocal about getting Kuai pregnant.
The request for Hanzo wasn’t too out of the blue. Hanzo had come in the room mid livestream several times to give Kuai water, and he’d become a strangely beloved figure amongst his viewers, with many the “god your boyfriends so sweet” type comments whenever the man wandered in. It was also a running joke that viewers would playfully demand Hanzo to join in. This was the first time someone had seriously requested Hanzo’s involvement.
Kuai was originally going to turn the request down, even if the guy had paid $3000 upfront for this to become a reality. He’d only casually mentioned it to Hanzo so they could laugh about the highly spesific request. He definitely hadn’t expected Hanzo to reply to him with “what date were you thinking?”
“I am more than sure,” Hanzo answered, sounding exasterbated, likely from how many times Kuai had asked in the last few days. “Are you sure you want to do this? With how much your asking, I’m starting to think you’re looking for an excuse not to.”
“Sorry, I just don’t want you to feel pressured into this,” Kuai explained, rubbing the back of his head before returning to adjusting his lighting. “This isn’t the weirdest request I’ve ever had but I’ve only done solo shows until now. I guess I never imagined this work would be of interest to you.”
“Snowflake, if I could make a career out of fucking you, I’d give up my day job immediately.”
Kuai snorted, “well if this goes well, you just might be able to.” Finally satisfied with his lighting, he left it alone to go walk over to Hanzo, pressing a kiss to his lips. “You sure you don’t want to wear a mask or something? Just, y’know, fucking me isn’t your job just yet.”
“What’s the point of fucking you on camera if no one know’s it’s me making you moan like that?” Hanzo questioned with a smirk. “Besides I work in an office with people who barely know how to send an email, let alone know they can watch porn on the internet. I think I’m safe.”
Kuai laughed at that description. He’d met Hanzo’s co-workers, and while they were nice, they definitely didn’t understand the internet world. They looked bewildered when Kuai tried to explain what livestreaming even was. So he guessed they were safe enough from anyone stumbling upon them.
“Well, guess we should get started,” Kuai said with a wink. “Can’t keep the horny masses waiting too long.”
They got into position, Kuai on his bed in front of his camera and laptop, and Hanzo standing just out of frame. They’d decided to let Hanzo’s involvement be a surprise. Well, a surprise to everyone except KANO, Kuai guessed.
Kuai could see the chat going off, his loyal regulars already waiting for the show to start. Kuai saw no point in dragging this out, he reached to smooth down his hair, before clicking the button to begin the stream.
“Good evening everyone,” he greeted casually, waving at the camera, and seeing a few people in the chat saying hello back, including the familiar name of KANO. “Can everyone hear me? Is the sound good?” A few comments saying the sound was fine. “Great, because as you may be aware from my advertisements that today I have a special surprise for you, all generously funded by KANO.”
He glanced over at Hanzo, indicating it was his cue to join him. Hanzo walked over, looking surprisingly calm for someone who was about to fuck on camera for the first ever time. As soon as Hanzo joined him on the bed, wrapping his arms around Kuai’s shoulders, Kuai’s chat went apeshit. He’d never seen it move so fast with exclamations of “oh god yes” and “finally”.
“Want to introduce yourself?” Kuai asked, leaning against Hanzo’s shoulder.
“Do I need to?” Hanzo questioned incredulously before adding, “Hello, I’m Hanzo, Kuai Liang’s boyfriend, and apparently you all want to see me breed him.”
Somehow, the chat went even crazier. Seeing how easily Hanzo was already handling this so well reassured him that he wasn’t just doing this for Kuai’s sake. Kuai just hoped this would live up to his viewers expectations.
“We’ve been given only two rules, there has to be breeding dirty talk and I have to keep these shoes on.” Kuai lifted his leg slightly to show the Prussian blue high heels he was in. He saw a brief message of approval from KANO. “But other than that, it’s fair game. As always I’ll try to note all suggestions but requests with donations take priority.”
As if someone had been waiting for him to say that to hit the donate button, a donation came through with the note “Kuai Liang, Please for the love of all things holy, suck his dick.”
Kuai laughed at the message turning to Hanzo, “the people have spoken.”
“I guess this means I have to get my cock out?” Hanzo asked innocently, like he genuinely wasn’t sure if that was what he needed to do.
“I guess it does, yes,” Kuai replied, his voice teasing. He sat back on his hands, waiting for Hanzo to do so.
Hanzo’s hands reached for his belt, slowly unhooking the buckle and pulling it away. Hanzo was making a show of this, that was for sure, like he’d been born for this very thing. Kuai wondered if maybe Hanzo had realised a while ago this would be a possibility and had been practising what to do. It would explain why he agreed to this so easily.
As Hanzo pulled his trousers down, his cock sprung free. It didn’t matter how many times Kuai saw it, every time he felt his mouth start to water. It seemed his audience agreed with his sentiment, as a quick glance at the chat revealed lots of comments like “woof”, “holy shit” and just one guy very bluntly exclaiming “NICE COCK BRO!”
“Guys, stop, you’re going to make his cock based ego far bigger than it already is,” Kuai warned, thankful that Hanzo laughed along with it.
He watched as Hanzo sat side on to the camera, and Kuai got on his hands and knees in front of him. He bent down far enough for Hanzo’s cock to be right in his face. He was feeling a little bit bratty right now, deciding to tease both Hanzo and his followers by simply licking all the way along Hanzo’s shaft, from the base to the tip. Hanzo groaned, reaching to take hold of the back of Kuai’s head, pushing his cock against Kuai’s lips.
Kuai opened his mouth, taking Hanzo’s tip in. He swirled his tongue around the head, feeling Hanzo’s grip tighten, pulling lightly on his short hair. Kuai purred as he pushed forward, taking more and more of Hanzo into his mouth. He’d spent a lot of time on stream training away his gag reflex to be able to deep throat more effectively. He knew his audience would love to see the results of that training. And well, Hanzo definitely wouldn’t complain about being the recipient.
He made it all the way to the base of Hanzo’s cock, letting it rest at the back of his throat and looking up at Hanzo. He could hear his notifications going off, and Hanzo looked torn between keeping his eyes fixed on Kuai and looking at what was being said. Eventually he tore his eyes away to look at the laptop, and returned with a dopey grin on his face.
“Chat is glad to see your throat training has been worth it,” Hanzo informed him, groaning as Kuai pulled back until only the tip was left inside. “And I certainly appreciate it.”
Kuai purred around the cock in his mouth, before he once more forced his head forward. He began to bring up a rhythm, slow and steady, and he made sure to use his tongue to full effect. Trailing it along the underside every time he drew back. Hanzo was moaning, gripping the bedsheets under him. His other hand still rested on the back of Kuai’s head, but he didn’t try to coax Kuai into going any faster.
Kuai could hear the donation notifications go off every now and then, and Hanzo glanced over everytime they did. It seemed they had no new requests yet, as he was sure Hanzo would say something if they did.
That was until one notification went off, and after it did, Hanzo used his hand to encourage Kuai off his cock completely. As Kuai withdrew, he licked his lips, breaking a thin trail of saliva connecting his mouth with Hanzo’s cock. He looked up at Hanzo waiting for an explanation.
“Chat wants me to eat you out,” Hanzo explained, looking extremely happy about this prospect.
“Hm, sounds good to me.” Kuai let himself fall back onto the bed, slipping off his underwear and spreading his legs. He usually only wore lingerie when streaming, it made it faster to get naked. He had also prepared himself beforehand, so when he dipped his hand low between his legs, he felt the slickness around the rim. He was glad he’d had the foresight to use favoured lube.
Hanzo lent down, throwing Kuai’s legs over his shoulders and forcing his ass off the bed slightly. Hanzo repositioned them so they were slightly more toward the camera, and the viewers could potentially get a better view of the show. It was the one problem with a static camera. With the large donation and extra cash, maybe if they had enough left over after paying rent this month, he’d finally invest in a second camera so he could have duel angles, or a first person POV.
That second one was an especially inviting investment if Hanzo really did decide to join him in future streams.
Hanzo’s tongue trailed around the rim of Kuai’s hole, and Kuai set his head back and just felt himself relax. He’d always enjoyed having someone eat his ass, and Hanzo was particularly talented at it. Indeed the flat of his tongue lapped against him, and Kuai twisted his back and let out a pleasured groan. He felt the tip of Hanzo’s tongue begin to poke at his entrance, encouraging the muscles to open up.
“Ah, Hanzo,” He softly called, almost forgetting they technically weren’t alone, the only reminder the soft pings coming from his laptop. He looked over, even as he almost lost himself to the pleasure and sight of Hanzo between his legs. He’d never seen so many donations before. Granted his audience were usually extremely generous, but this was something else with every other notification being a new donation.
He felt Hanzo give a lick around the rim, before plunging his tongue deep inside. Kuai made a gleeful squeal, turning away from the laptop just as the “so cute <3” comments began. Hanzo’s tongue began to fuck in and out of him, and Kuai let go of the bedsheets to instead reach down for Hanzo’s hair. He felt Hanzo laugh into his skin, pulling his tongue out to once more circle outside before diving back inside.
He glanced over to the laptop again, finally seeing a donation with the next request.
“Hey, so, when you guys get to the penetration, can you do it like so we can see Hanzo’s cock enter you? Maybe a bit of fingering before that too? Pretty Please?”
“A-Ah, we have a new request,” Kuai informed Hanzo, groaning as Hanzo sealed his mouth around Kuai’s hole and sucked, before finally retreating and looking up from his work.
Hanzo glanced over to see what the request was and hummed. He was clearly trying to think the best way to do this so everyone could see. Kuai already had an idea.
“Sit facing the camera,” Kuai ordered, somewhat smirking to himself when from the corner of his eye he saw a comment of “Power Bottom my beloved”.
Hanzo did as he was told, legs down flat against the bed. Kuai crawled over to him, slipping into Hanzo’s lap. He rested his back against Hanzo’s chest, and once more letting his legs fall open.
“This a good view?” He questioned, as Hanzo hooked his arms under Kuai’s thighs. A few confirmations from the virtual crowd was everything Kuai needed. “Okay, fingers first then.”
Hanzo’s hand trailed along his inner thigh, stopping at around Kuai’s ass. He used a single finger to trail around the rim, before slowly pushing inside. Kuai closed his eyes and groaned, reaching one hand around Hanzo’s neck, and the other to his thigh, lifting his leg a little to hopefully keep the view clear for the camera.
That finger explored inside, slowly thrusting in and out. Kuai resisted his urge to turn his face to hide in Hanzo’s shoulder. He needed to keep focused. Even as Hanzo pushed a second finger inside, Kuai only allowed himself to close his eyes momentarily.
“Hm, you always take my fingers so well,” Hanzo muttered into the skin of his shoulder, pressing a kiss against it. His free hand reached to tug on Kuai’s leg. “That’s it, keep your legs nice and wide, let everyone see how you open up for me.”
As Hanzo pushed a third finger inside, Kuai could see the chat loosing their shit again.
“Mm, almost as well as I take your cock,” He teased, knowing the chat would go into yet another frenzy at the mere thought of it. Indeed he saw the comments coming in fast.
“That goes without saying,” Hanzo replied, finally pushing a forth finger into Kuai’s hole. Kuai moaned at the stretch, as the fingers pressed up against his walls. “Why don’t we show them just how well you take me hm?”
“Please,” Kuai begged, a similar sentiment shared by the chat. Hanzo twisted his hand, scissoring his fingers to make sure Kuai was ready for him.
Finally those fingers retreated, and Kuai lifted himself ever so slightly. He watched Hanzo rearrange his cock, until it was pressed against his hole, threatening to breach. He slowly lowered himself onto Hanzo’s cock, letting out a loud moan as the sunk down the shaft. As he opened his legs a little wider, the excited comments coming in were amusing. They’d all seen him take vibrator’s and dildo’s in his ass before, but he supposed it wasn’t quite the same as hot blooded flesh.
He felt his ass come to rest on Hanzo’s pelvis, Hanzo’s hands coming to hook under his knees. They stayed like that for a moment, letting the viewers really take in the sight.
“Ready?” Hanzo questioned in his ear, lightly nipping at his lobe.
“Yes,” Kuai replied, reaching to stroke his own cock slightly. “Breed me like the slut I am, Hanzo.”
That seemed to be the only order Hanzo needed, as he began to slowly lift Kuai up. He stopped when only the tip was inside, before he all but dropped him down, thrusting up to meet Kuai half way. Kuai gasped, reaching back to grab Hanzo’s hair and trying to yank his face close. Hanzo’s mouth was just out of reach, and Hanzo was being mean and not letting Kuai get close enough to kiss.
“Something wrong?” Hanzo’s question sounded like a song, as he bounced Kuai on and off his cock. Still he let his lips hover away.
“Mm, You’re so mean,” Kuai whined, groaning as Hanzo’s cock brushed up against his prostate.
A donation notification went off with text saying “here’s $5, please stop being mean and kiss our favourite bottom! >:(“
Both Hanzo and Kuai laughed, before Hanzo finally obliged Kuai and kissed him gently, swallowing both their giggles. As they pulled away, that same patron left a comment that read “Thank you!”
“You’re viewer’s are so sweet to you,” Hanzo mentioned, pushing Kuai all the way down and grinding against him. “Nicer than I am anyway.” He lifted Kuai back up, before very slowly lowering him. “I make you work for your kisses.”
“And I work hard for them,” Kuai managed to get out, even as Hanzo reached down to fondle Kuai’s cock.
They both turned their attention to the laptop with a new request coming through. “Okay but like. Face down, ass up, this is meant to be a breeding after all.”
“Hm, I’d almost forgotten I was supposed to be breeding you.” Hanzo let Kuai settle on his cock. “We wouldn’t want to upset our most gracious donor.”
Hanzo took hold of Kuai’s hips, keeping his cock buried deep inside. He carefully let Kuai fall forward, following behind so his cock never slipped out. Kuai was almost impressed by the action. He landed on his hand’s and knees, but soon found a hand between his shoulders, gently pushing until his chest was pressing against the mattress. Another hand was on his hip still, keeping his backside angled up.
“Comfortable?” Hanzo questioned when Kuai had settled. Full body shudder overtaking as Hanzo’s hand stroked down Kuai’s spine.
“Yes,” Kuai assured him. He rested his head on one side, but like this he could see the laptop screen and what everyone was saying with ease. Well, mostly, the text was on it’s side but that didn’t matter. He could already gather that this position was quite popular.
He felt Hanzo pull back before driving inside again. It was hard enough for an audible slap, and Kuai instinctively lifted his body off the mattress. Hanzo’s hand returned to his shoulder blade, putting weight there to force him back down.
“Keep down,” Hanzo ordered, and Kuai clenched his fists, balling up the bed covers below him. “That’s it, that’s a good boy.” Kuai whined at the praise, earning another few comments about him being cute. Hanzo’s movements were slow but hard, and Kuai could feel every inch of his cock. “Such a good boy, letting me breed you in front of so many people.”
Kuai momentarily closed his eyes, just concentrating on the way Hanzo’s cock went in and out of him. It was rough and desperate, but at this angle it was hitting all the best spots. Kuai was loud in the bedroom, even when he’d had shitty partners he still got a few noises out. It was just natural that no matter who he was with, he would make some sounds. Hanzo was something else however. At this point he was a conductor and Kuai was his orchestra. As that cock slammed into that spot, he couldn’t help the desperate wails he made.
And even without looking at the chat, he knew everyone was loving it.
“How is it, Kuai Liang?” Hanzo asked, pushing himself deep inside and staying still. “Being bred? Knowing I’m going to cum in this tight little ass, over and over until you’re dripping with my cum.”
“Holy fuck,” Kuai gasped out, opening his eyes and biting into the sheets. Kuai had never really thought much about breeding kink, it only came up because his audience seemed to really like it. Maybe he should have thought about it more, given the way his cock twitched and a drizzle of precum leaked out, he might have been more into this than he initially realised.
“Let’s see,” Hanzo growled, reaching down between Kuai’s legs and feeling along his cock. When he got to the head he rolled his thumb along the slit, getting sticky. “Ah, you really like this, don’t you? I can feel it.” He gave a gently stroke in time to a thrust. Kuai twisted slightly, and he purred pushing his ass back just as Hanzo was about to slam in. Hanzo laughed, “If I’d known you’d be this enthusiastic about this I’d have done it a long time ago.”
A donation came through, and both of them looked to see the new request. Just a simple one, “Please slap his ass, and tell him what a good breeding bitch he is.”
Seconds later, a slap rang out as Hanzo slammed his hand down on Kuai’s ass. Kuai once again almost pushed himself up, but was quickly stopped by a hand against his shoulder. That hand was brought down against him again.
“Down,” Hanzo reiterated as he released his shoulder. Between every couple of thrusts, he began to slap Kuai’s ass as requested. That added with the way Hanzo’s pelvis kept hitting those spots too, left a glorious sting. “Your viewer is right, of course, you are being such a good breeding bitch for me. You’re taking me so well, you’re going to give me such beautiful children.” Kuai shuddered, despite that not being a possibility, in this moment, Kuai wanted nothing more than to be good for Hanzo and give him everything he wanted. “I’m going to cum inside you, and then I’m going to plug you up, make sure it stays all nice inside you.”
Kuai whimpered, he wanted to say something but nothing could come out. Fuck he’d never been so overwhelmed with pleasure before. Even so, he could still see the chat, commenting on how cute his blissed out face was.
The donation sound came out, another request of “C-Can you maybe talk about us getting a turn breeding him too?”
Oh Jesus, before Hanzo even said anything, the thought of that made him instantly moan.
“Aw, do you like the sound of that, Kuai Liang?” Hanzo asked between laughs and pants. He chose that moment to give Kuai’s ass another slap. “You’ve been teasing your viewer base for far too long. I don’t see why they can’t have a turn with you.” Kuai gripped the sheets, he could feel a heat pooling somewhere in his stomach. “You’ll lay there, and let each and every one of them fuck your cute little ass. You’ll take load after load, until they’re satisfied you’ve had enough. Maybe they’ll even keep a tally of how many times they cum inside you, so you know exactly how much cum you’re full of.”
The mental image of that was overwhelming. The idea of an anonymous crowd all lining up to take a turn with him. Him bent over, taking cock after cock, so much cum it was dripping out of him and down his legs. Maybe some of them getting bored of waiting for a go at his ass, and amusing themselves with his mouth and hands in the meantime. Telling him how good he was taking all of them, writing the tally on his back with a marker and making him guess just how many he took. If he got it right, they’d let him cum, and if not then they’d just keep fucking him until he was able to say the right number.
Hanzo’s cock drove into him at full force, slamming straight into his prostate. Between his intense fantasy and that sensation, he really didn’t stand a chance. He gave out a particularly loud yell as he came, even without seeing it he knew the bedsheet below was wet. Every thrust Hanzo gave, another squirt came out, like Hanzo was trying to milk it out of him.
Hanzo stilled inside him, but didn’t come himself. He was gently patting Kuai’s ass.
“This was all that good for you? Hm?” Hanzo’s fingers dug into his ass, making it ache slightly from where it had been hit. “Was it the thought of servicing your viewers? Giving back to them for all the help they’ve given you.”
“I mean, your cock helped too,” Kuai got out, still trying to catch his breath.
There was another donation notification, but Kuai couldn’t lift his head to look at what it said. Hanzo’s hands wrapped around Kuai’s hips and Hanzo pulled out. Kuai whined, he may have been done but that didn’t mean Hanzo had to stop too. He was shushed by a kiss to the back of the neck.
“It’s alright, I’m still going to finish inside you. Your viewers just want to be able to see my cum drip out of your ass.”
Ah, that made sense. Kuai let Hanzo manhandle him until he was in the same ass up face down position, only this time it was his ass that was facing the camera. He felt Hanzo take hold of his wrists, placing his hands on his own ass.
“Hold yourself nice and open for everyone,” Hanzo softly commanded. With what strength he still had, Kuai dug his fingers in, pulling apart his cheeks. He felt Hanzo line his cock up, pretty much completely covering Kuai with his own body. His cock slowly pushed inside. “There we go, just a little longer and I’ll let you rest okay?”
There was no fanfare this time, Hanzo just rocked into a brutal pace. Kuai almost let go of his ass, but instead put everything he had into just keeping it open. Hanzo’s cock slammed into him, and all Kuai could focus on was the sounds it made.
Hanzo was right, it really wasn’t much longer until he was also reaching orgasm. Kuai felt the familiar warm feeling of being filled with cum. While the majority of it was deep inside him, Hanzo pulled back to thrust shallowly, cumming right next to the rim. As he pulled out, Kuai felt some of it following him out, dripping down his balls. He could hear the chat going crazy, and Hanzo shifting to reach for something just off camera.
A finger followed the curve of his balls, gathering the rogue cum and bringing it back to his ass. The finger forced it back inside, before retreating and being replaced by something that definitely felt like a buttplug. Once it was in, Kuai finally let go, his knees giving out under him as he collapsed in a pile.
Hands were rearranged him again, flipping him onto his back and pulling him to sit up. Hanzo sat behind him, bringing Kuai’s back to rest on his chest again. Hanzo was pressing kisses on his neck.
“You were amazing,” Hanzo praised between his kisses. “How are you feeling?”
“Good,” Kuai replied simply, closing his eyes and loving the purr in his own voice. “You fucked me so good.” His eyes shot back open when he heard the chat go off again, suddenly remember it technically wasn’t just the two of them. “Ah, so, how was the show?”
Well, if the wave of excited comments, ranging from “so hot” to “welp I just came too”, were anything to go by, then the show was pretty damned good. Most important was the main patron of the stream, KANO, leaving a comment that said “Bloody brilliant mate.”
“Good,” Kuai said with a sigh, relaxing back into Hanzo’s wonderful embrace. “So, uh, a short intermission for us to regain our breath, and then round two?”
“Round two?” Hanzo questioned, sounding somewhat amused that Kuai just assumed they were going to go on.
“Well, is it a real breeding if it’s only one load?” Kuai retorted, and he loved the way Hanzo’s head tilted in time to his grin.
“Well, you might have a point there.”
“Great.” Kuai pushed himself up to give Hanzo a kiss, before he turned back to the camera with a smile. “So, y’know, if you’ve got any more requests for us, feel free to begin sending them in.”
Given the amount of donations that seemed to spur on, Kuai knew they were about to put on a hell of a show.
💥 || The worst pain a human can feel may be having an hanging heart that grabs tight to the last tread; for a broken heart gets destroyed so it can heal. But the heart that is grabbing on by its dear life, the one that never gets his love rejected or confirmed, latches onto the last bit of hope. Death of Harumi and Satoshi Hasashi once turned agonizing and grieving husband and father Hanzo Hasashi into something frightening inside the mirror; a fearsome thing that lived between the fragile, yet deadly glass and the silver backing of the formidable steel. Despite him no longer able to see the one that he was before, he still can see the remnants, glimpses of the angsty bastard, here to take wretched life of the corrupted.
Yet, he was in the wrong. Perhaps he was a tree growing backwards; its roots to the sky, its leaves under the earth. Roots that futilely and desperately attempting to grasp the idealism that had long pulverized and disintegrated. The leaves of autumn long crushed beneath the trampling feet of the unpredictable life he led as the Commander Hasashi. Even when he himself hovered along the indistinguishable edge of life and death, with his thoughts befuddled and nearly severed, like the transition of day to night playing at the speed of light, shambling and clinging to the frayed thread of mortality, a body producing volumes of blood that would leak out of the penetrated bullet, as a shuffling mass of human flesh, the embodiment of living death, bodily function threatening to shut down, he relied upon the hindbrain, of his characteristic tenacity and resilience power him forward. Perhaps the autonomic processes of human in him tried in vain, to cease the deluge of viscera, but the vestiges of his humanity simply refused to rapidly being erased.
The suffering is intrinsic, in spite of Hanzo's outlook having transformed more optimistic. Simply based on the statistics and predictions of his character, Commander Hasashi may not exist in the upcoming years, even months, more so tomorrow. In this soft, quiet, liminal waves of twilight spilling silently across his thoughts, it touches Hanzo's beating heart with the gift of brazen dusk, as clouds float like unspoken words across the vast canvas of horizon. Perhaps it was meant to be a seamstress sewing oneness, healing tortured wounds once again with the love perpetual and eternal.
For Hanzo Hasashi is the one with an ardent heart and a hungry soul; one of the things he hungers for is happiness. So much so that as Sayuri Iwasaki's words gently float him back to reality from one of his deepest reverie, the curl of his genuine smile embodies his beloved as the one from the past manifests into the present, he crosses the vast tree line and over the edge of the blooming universe. How his eyes hold luminous and voluptuous stars upon the glowing firmament, as he finds the receding tides of gloom and anguish pass along with the bastions of sorrowful love unrealized. "I cannot help nor stop tragedy flowing into tragedy. Perhaps that is why torment has accompanied my life for so long," and love is pain, but you always knew that. For love is what sustains me.
"Storms continue to rise and darkness will fall, but we will be shoulder to shoulder, our souls to quell. You will keep me with a steadfast heart, as I share my pain, you share yours. I know you will support me in myriad ways, through my dimmed and grayed world, as I will continue to yearn for your guiding light, as I continue to rise, resilient and strong. For my worth no longer depend on wrongs. I will mend the wounds and find my way. Always." 💥 ||
With fingers laced around the string of his bow, dark brown eyes shift to the individual next to him for a moment. Soft moonlight stretches across his side, the wind licking at the arc of hair in front of his face. There's a soft rustle of the leaves from the trees all around, grass shimmering at their feet. There's a slight illumination at the male's heels, soft blue in color, just barely unobscured by the greenery. To their left, a tree line followed by where the moonlight cannot reach. Within, a shimmering metal plate. Then another not far from it. The distance out into the empty plains before them contains more scattered about, held up by wooden stakes. Some are dummies that look as scarecrows, their lifeless forms seeming to be guarding the different directions they face towards.
Straightening himself up, Hanzo raises his weapon, it's arrow tip towards the one of the moonlight's reflections ahead. He silently slides one foot back, drawing a soft breath that matches his pull of the bow string. A few short seconds pass before his fingers release, sending the arrow whistling through the crisp air. With clang of the metal plate paired with the hard thud of the arrowhead lodging itself into the wooden support behind it, he lowers his bow. His deep, slightly gruff voice can be heard once again as he addresses the other.
"Show me."
An Inch of Time - Hanzo/Herger/Cole
“An inch of time is an inch of gold but you can’t buy that inch of time with an inch of gold.” - Chinese Proverb
It was supposed to be an easy mission.  But Cole should’ve known by then to take those words with a grain of salt.  Hell - he was pretty sure Athena didn’t even know what that word meant anymore.  Either that, or the AI needed some serious upgrades.  But yeah - easy.  Make their way into the abandoned Talon base, deal with any remaining ‘security measures’ and scavenge whatever tech and files they could find.  Winston and Tracer had gone after the files, Jack and Anna were dealing with security, which left Hanzo and himself scrounging through empty laboratories looking for anything that might be useful… or help them get a bead on what Talon’s next moves might be.
Cole had to admit that the entire mission had felt… off from the beginning.  Why was the place abandoned so suddenly?  Athena didn’t have any intel on that.  But Talon has left in a hurry and Overwatch (still trying to find itself in this new world) needed all the help they could get, so they’d acted.  Now, as he watched Hanzo move quietly along beside him, Cole hoped things here were exactly what they seemed.  He allowed the hint of a smile to cross his lips as he thought about his previous night with the archer.
What they had was… unexpected.  But also damn good.  How Genji’s wayward brother had managed to become such an important part of his life in such a short amount of time was something Cole didn’t question too closely.  The man made him happier that he’d thought possible, and that was enough.
Forcing his mind back to the present, Cole kept his eyes on the corridor as Hanzo moved ahead of him into the next room.  A brilliant blue light suddenly flooded the hallway from the door… before it closed with a soft ‘whoosh-click,’, sealing him off from Hanzo and whatever had been triggered by the archer’s entry into the room.  With a curse, Cole bounded for the door, trying to pry it open.  “Winston, I gotta problem,” he called into his comm.  “Somethin’s goin on, an’ Hanzo’s stuck in tha middle of it!”  There was a staticky crackle of what might’ve been his teammate’s voice, but nothing discernible.  With another curse, Cole did the only other thing he could think of - he turned his gun to the door’s control panel, and fired.
The door popped open about an inch, blue light flooding the corridor once more and Cole leapt forward to pry it the rest of the way open.  Inside he couldn’t really make sense of what exactly was happening.  There was a platform, and in the center was a thrumming, swirling circle of blue light… and it was inhaling everything that wasn’t nailed down!  Hanzo had managed to grab onto a support beam, but his lower body was already within the ravenous void.  Feeling himself being sucked forward as well, Cole angled for the same beam as Hanzo, grabbing onto his lover with his prosthetic arm, and holding onto the beam with the other.
Just as he did, Hanzo lost his grip.   Cole still felt himself holding onto the other man, but the archer was completely within the portal now.  “No, dammit!”  As if crying out could change whatever was happening.  He tried not to crush Hanzo’s arm with his mechanical grip as his serape whipped around between them, dancing in and out of the brilliant blue glow.   Cole’s hold on the support column loosened.  His arm was in the portal now, but he could still feel Hanzo holding on, so he knew whatever this was, it hadn’t killed the other man.  Yet.
And then the room suddenly went dark.   Cole heard a sharp ‘crack-pop-sizzle’ as his prosthetic (or what was left of it) dropped uselessly to his side.  What the HELL had just happened?!  Suddenly his comm snapped to life.  “Cole!  What’s going on down there?!  We had to cut the power…”
Oh… oh god!  He felt his mind start to spiral, but forced words into his mouth.  “Winston!  I lost Hanzo!  You gotta turn the power back on!  We gotta get him back!”  Emergency lights began to flicker on… but the dais where the portal had been stayed dark and empty.  Oh fuck…!
Winston was talking again… asking questions.   Cole just stared at the place Hanzo had been mere moments before.  Then the voice changed to Jack’s - more demanding.  Gaze sliding down to where his prosthetic hand had once been, Cole forced himself to take a breath and start talking.  The sooner they figured this out, the sooner he could get Hanzo back.  He needed to focus.  Losing it wouldn’t help the man he’d so quickly grown to love.  The sooner he pulled himself together, the sooner they’d get this figured out and get Hanzo back.  Because there was no way in HELL they weren’t getting the other man back.   Cole would see to that.
