Oh look it's another crack theory!
Crowley is the current supreme archangel.
DO NOT ASK NEIL ABOUT FAN THEORY
Okay so hear me out, and look, I SAID CRACK! I have fun crack theories pop in my head every once in a while and I'm gonna write em down. It's not cannon with any of my other ideas or metas it's just *a thing*.
So! If you want to follow me down a wormhole of extrapolation, do so below!
Tumblr media
"There is always a supreme archangel!"
Michael said it not me! Blame her! But look, that line is a choice, and it feels there for a reason. Maybe there IS always a supreme archangel. Maybe it's not a job you're hired for, maybe it's something that's inherited like royalty, and transfers automatically.
The 25 lazarii miracle.
Okay yes, I think it's just love and angel/demon working together is more powerful than apart, shades of grey, all that. BUT nobody else thinks that. Heaven and hell do not think that. They do not think Az and Crowley should have been able to do that miracle by any means. So I'd assume they're scratching their heads, and Aziraphale does tell the Archangels initially that he performs the miracle alone, which I assume would have then been relayed to the Metatron.
"A miracle of enormous power happened last night, the kind of miracle only the mightiest of archangels could perform" ... "How do you know I didn't do it?"
Let's say I'm right, look I'm humoring my own theory aren't I? Does Crowley know? Would he be aware of what happened? Would he feel it? If he did I could definitely see him keeping that card close to the chest, but still being a snarky ass to Shax.
Crowley opens the file in heaven.
So he's at least a Throne or Dominion or above, probably even higher up than that. He says they never change their passwords, and if that's true what else don't they change? What else have they forgotten? Bureaucratic nightmares like heaven often overlook so many things, who's to say a certain high up angel wasn't taken off all the books fully after they became a demon?
Why does the Metatron actually want Aziraphale back in Heaven?
I mean? Sure he and Crowley averted Apocalypse Part 1 last time I guess that's why, but couldn't there have been an easier way than a faux job promotion? I'm thinking: Gabriel is gone, the position of Supreme Archangel is automatically inherited, none of the Archangels in heaven are it, Aziraphale is suddenly accidentally performing a 25 lazarii miracle all by his lonesome? What if the Metatron thinks it's Aziraphale who has been chosen for the role of Supreme Archangel. But there's one thing he's over looked...
A clerical error.
What if it's not Aziraphale but it's Crowley. Crowley was formerly a high ranking angel before the fall. He's still able to access files in heaven, maybe they've forgotten to completely erase him from all the books and databases, and he was next in line, or maybe God just has a funny sense of humor. Angels and demons alike seem to just automatically listen to Crowley this season and do what he asks, Shax calls him "Arch-traitor" he seems like he might just know a bit too much more than he should, and the scene during the trial where Gabriel says, " However I am the only first order Archangel in the room or ya know the universe." Then the camera cuts directly to a close-up shot of Crowley? It's a bit too foreboding in my opinion to be nothing.
Final Thoughts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This comic is posted on Whickber street between Aziraphale's Bookshop and the Record Shop. Neil had asked that it revolve around the horrible crime of stealing halos. When I see this comic, I can't help but think that the original halo owner is very James Bond, a character our favorite snake like demon loves to portray. I wonder if Anthony J "just a J really" Crowley chose J for a reason more than just a J (maybe........... Jophiel?), and I wonder if he really was fully deserving of his fate during the fall or if there's a bit more to the story.

WrongPlanet.net, the largest autism forum, is in the midst of a hostile takeover
tl;dr: WrongPlanet’s owner got hacked and there are now no mods. Please signal boost this so that autistic people know the site is likely to be unsafe from now on.
I heard that Alex Plank, the absentee admin of WrongPlanet, had returned with a big announcement.
Here it is:
Hey there, fellow Wrong Planeters! I know it's been an eternity since I last graced this forum with my presence. I apologize for my absence, but I come bearing an astonishing tale of woe and wonder. Brace yourselves, for I suffer from the most peculiar affliction known to mankind: "Chronic Update Blockage Disorder (and forgetting to change my password)." Yes, you read that right. For a decade now, I have been plagued by a condition that has kept me from updating Wrong Planet, ensuring that it remains untouched, like a relic preserved for future generations to marvel at. Imagine the monumental impact this has had on the state of the internet. Don't worry; I'll give you a moment to gather your thoughts. Now, you may be wondering how such an unusual ailment came to be. Well, let me enlighten you. It all began when I was innocently tinkering with some HTML code, trying to add a dancing unicorn GIF to my signature. Little did I know that this innocent act of digital mischief would lead to my tragic downfall. In a bizarre twist of fate, my fingers slipped on the keyboard, causing a cataclysmic error in the space-time continuum. A rift opened up, and Wrong Planet was sucked into a parallel dimension—an alternate reality where updating websites is a crime punishable by being forced to listen to dial-up modem noises on repeat for eternity. It's a dimension where webmasters are trapped in a perpetual loop of server errors and broken links. Oh, the horror! Ever since that fateful day, I have been caught in a cosmic limbo, unable to break free from the clutches of my disorder. Every time I attempt to update the site, my hands freeze, my eyes glaze over, and my mind is overrun with visions of cascading style sheets and merciless pop-up ads. It's like a digital possession straight out of a techno-horror movie. But fear not! I refuse to let this affliction define me. In my isolation, I have become a webmaster hermit, a guru of outdated HTML and obsolete plugins. I have attained a level of enlightenment that transcends the mere mortal realm of web development. My website, frozen in time, stands as a testament to my indomitable spirit and steadfast refusal to give in to the relentless march of progress. So, as I sit here in my digital dungeon, surrounded by stacks of floppy disks and a shrine dedicated to the ancient Netscape Navigator, I implore you all to cherish your ability to update your websites. Take a moment to appreciate the mundane task of uploading a new blog post or tweaking your site's layout, for it is a privilege denied to the unfortunate few, like me. In conclusion, I hope my tale of woe has brought a smile to your face, despite the tragic consequences it has had on my own online presence. Remember, life is unpredictable, and so are the pitfalls of the digital world. Cherish your ability to hit that "Publish" button, for you never know when it might be taken away from you, leaving you stranded in the abyss of chronic update blockage and forgetting to change my password that's been used for over 10 years. Yours humorously, The Eternally Unresponsive Webmaster Alex i come in peace
Now this is a weird post, right?
Some early commenters mentioned that this was weird - one accused “Alex” of being high - but most of them seemed to think it was just Alex being a bit goofy.
Then on page two, we have a post from The_Walrus, a long-serving moderator. Well, former moderator:
There is a >95% probability that it isn't the real Alex, and instead his account has been compromised. Firstly, Alex doesn't write like that. It just isn't his style. It's far too poetic. Alex is usually very direct and blunt. It's also self-deprecating in a way I do not associate with Alex. Additionally:
Quote:

This is pretty much spelling it out - this individual has gained access to Alex's account. Alex's email address has been involved in 30 data breaches, according to https://haveibeenpwned.com/. Having failed to update his site for a long time, the "hacker" (using that word loosely) feels that Alex has forfeited the right to it.
Additionally, all moderators and admins (apart from Alex himself) have been stripped of their permissions.
This is obviously a regular WrongPlanet user, and I can make an educated guess as to who, but almost certainly isn't the real Alex.
To this, “Alex” responded “educate my balls, Cartman”.
It seems WrongPlanet is probably permanently compromised. It has always been a site that has serious issues with spammers, scammers, and passing trolls, but those issues are only likely to get worse now.
If you are on WrongPlanet mailing lists, be very suspicious of any emails you receive. They are likely to be scams or otherwise misleading.
Please signal boost this post as much as possible... @autie-j @asdcats @chavisory I’d be grateful if you could help get the word out however you feel appropriate.

This Week in BL
July 2022 Wk 3
Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying the most.
GaGaOOLaLa is doing this thing where they are changing over their payment system, and they moved fast. They kicked everyone off until they re-up membership but I don’t do that on my work computer so I’m bumped until I get home.
Honestly with two of my biases (Jimmy & Pavel) holding down two decent Thai BLs right now I’m not mad about life, even with this crazy heat wave.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series - Thai
Triage (grey) Ep 13 fin - I forgot to download it to bring along, so I will watch and then do a full review of this one once I get home. Wait for it....
Vice Versa (Sat on YouTube) Ep 2 - I’m liking it a lot, and the tropes have started coming thick and fast. I’m finding the lead a little bit more appealing than last week, and the moment Jimmy is on screen charisma starts leaking all over the place and I’m just happy. Talay got himself a live one, I’m living for Puen the super flirt. But I’m not sure if they mean Puen to be slightly sinister about it, or if that’s just... Jimmy. Like we all know he’s hiding something. But is it a good thing or a bad thing? There’s definitely a faded mates thing going on with the show, and it’s moving fast for a 12 episode run - I hope they can keep up this pacing. How can GMMTV hit it out of the park (this show) and fail so miserably (sky) in the space of 24 hours? For those keeping track: last week’s secret password was from 2gether, this week’s was from SOTUS. FINALLY: Shoes in the bed! Shoes in the bed! After being in a bar! First Unforgotten Night, now this. Make it stop.
Coffee Melody (Mon Viki) Ep 1 - I like it! This is my kind of BL - very much on the fluffy end of the spectrum, I don’t demand my BL be complicated or gritty. There is an unfortunate overuse of sound effects a la Lovely Writer but I’m getting Cutie Pie vibes off the main character. I do like an out Queen-B who knows what he wants. And, of course, Pavel (cafe owner love interest) is just as wonderful as he should be. Frankly, i could watch Pavel make pretty drinks with tinkling piano music in the background for, well, most of my life, and not be mad about it. I already have those ambient Korean café YouTube videos on while I work, this is the BL version of that. I hope someone enterprising does a cut of all the times he simps while making a beverage against, oh I don’t know, Blue Danube Waltz or something.
Love Mechanics (Sun WeTV) Ep 5 - posted it last week, ‘cause I knew I would be out of town.
Unforgotten Night (Weds on GaGa) Ep 5 - No GaGa for me this week, resumes next. TRASH WATCH (up to ep 4) IS HERE!
Sky in Your Heart (Fri YouTube) Ep 8fin - There was a really dumb manufactured miscommunication-based parting for this final ep. They mutually pined well, I guess? But the kiss at the end was extremely poor quality for Thailand. Tut tut - you have one job to do. To put it simply, this show was boring. I don’t know exactly how to write a review of this as “boring” isn’t in my rating system but, it is a BIG SIN for me, so I guess 5/10? Watch only if you have nothing better to do. No full review because I didn’t like it. It looks like there is a special wrap-up episode next week, which considering it’s lots of KleunDao, I’ll probably enjoy more.
Even Sun (Wed iQIYI) Ep 4 - I’ll roll it into next week’s update.
Check Out (Sat IQIYI) Ep 7 - I’ll roll it into next week.
My Secret Love (Sat YouTube Sat) Ep 8 - I’m just never gonna like the main couple (the obligatory sponge bath emerged). But I kind of like some of the side dishes. My favorite is the minor minor minor sides Tim + bestie, and with them I’m currently undergoing 2nd lead (side?) syndrome - yay Pete! Because, of course I am. On another note, is “second side syndrome” like having an extra helping of fries?
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
Minato Shouji Coin Laundry (Japan Weds GaGa) Ep 4 - actually I caught this before GaGa went bonkers: It is really hard to articulate how quintessentially old school Japanese yaoi this BL is. The way Shin overreacts to not being able to take care of Minato, it’s so teenager, but it is also so completely younger seme with an older uke yaoi archetypes. This kid is willing and able and prepared to sacrifice himself for the tiniest little bit of Minto’s comfort, and it destroys him when he cannot take care of his man. Next week, adding exes and more into the mix is going to drive Shin insane. But that’s the point. We’re at the halfway mark, by the laws of romance we should be ramping up for the major drama, also it’s about time for an actual kiss. This is Japan, though, the pacing is likely to be unpredictable especially with an age gap romance. (I feel compelled to warn you at this juncture the mostly likely outcome for this is a separation, time jump, reunion. And I could all be done in the final ep. It’s how Japan traditionally handles most of their age gap stuff. I have so much to say about this show I might start up a watch along at this juncture.
Want to See You (Vietnam YT) Ep 9 - It’s fine, the lap setting is cute. The kissing while sitting in the lap is sexy. But I remain unmoved by the characters.
Senpai, Danjite Koidewa! (Japan Fri Viki) Ep 5 - Honestly, just too much cringe. Japan droped one it’s favorite trope: forced proximity by way of “all the trains stopped running and you have to stay at my place.” It’s a popular one.The sharing the parfait was cute, but I am getting a little exhausted by the constant navel gazing stalker thing.
Tumblr media
In Case You Missed it
Semantic Error won a Blue Dragon award.
Kpop group OnlyOneOf is releasing a series of solo songs by members with a linked BL storyline. I found it very engaging, even though I am not wild about the song itself. I chatter about it and another Kpop BL crossover here.
The BL Express published a Guide To Every Singapore LGBT Short Film And Web Series Available On YouTube
Japanese short BL 8.2 second (under 1 hr) is available in 5 parts on YouTube. AKA 8.2 Byo no Hosoku. About a schoolboy who makes magic candy for a series of handsome classmates, questing for a soulmate. Each ep is a new love interest and while the sweets help others, they keep failing to bring him love. Of course h's overlooking someone. The lead was very good and the theme, cooking, and eventually romance were charming, but it is a series of BL vignettes not really a cohesive story, no kisses or anything. Japan doesn’t give us sweet BL this short very often, so it was nice to see them try out the style.
Tumblr media
Gossip
New Thai BL announced I am very excited about: Wish Me Luck, boss/employee dynamic staring my boy Fiat (from SOTUS S, My Gear and Your Gown, and most recently Triage) and Na from UWMA & KP. Plot: Uni student interns as an adman under (corrupt?) CEO creating commercials and hunting down traitors within the company. It’s Thai and there is no trailer so will it happen? 50% chance.
Next Week Looks Like This:
Tumblr media
This week’s best moments?
Tumblr media
Like we can take them off you, sweetheart.
Tumblr media
GL gest cameo in Vice Versa.
Tumblr media
Really Thailand? Well that got unexpectedly kinky. Gonna make him like your boots? THAT YOU ARE WEARING IN BED.
Tumblr media
Everyone say: Thank you Thailand. (My Secret Love’s side dish getting VERY dishy indeed.)

The Storm’s End, part 2
Modern AU inspired by Aemond Targaryen’s visit to Storm’s End.
Pairing: Aemond Targaryen x Cassandra Baratheon (non-canon, obvs)
Warnings: smut
.
Part 1
.
Two days later, Aemond stood in front of Cassie Baratheon’s new place, a cottage next to the river.  It suited her better than the massive complex that was Storm’s End, he thought.  Brian had texted him the day after the strange conversation.
13 days left.
That morning he had texted him again.
12 days left.
He had also asked him if he knew if Cassie had changed the password to his Netflix account, and Aemond had chosen to ignore the question.  First, because he didn’t know, and second, because maybe if Brian was inconvenienced enough by the absence of his eldest daughter, he might reconsider the whole thing.
He had to talk to her.  Figure this out.  Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door.  There was a camera aiming down from the corner of the cottage, and a small speaker set up against the frame of the door.
A few moments later, he saw the tiny light on the speaker turn green.  “If you’re here to propose, you can turn right back around.”
He pushed the button underneath the speaker.  “We should talk, Cassie.”
He could almost picture her considering his words, and a few moments later, the door opened.  “Come in.”
* * * * *
The amount of texts from her father and sisters was simply staggering.  Most of them pleading for help with something or other, then derailing into resentful and even threatening words.  Cassie was ignoring every single one of them.
“I’m listening,” she said, offering him a cup of coffee.  She sipped at her own and sat on the small couch.
He took the chair across from her, raked a hand through his white blond locks, and Cassie simply couldn’t help it, staring at the way his jeans hugged his thighs, his sweater outlined his slim waist and broad shoulders.
She said he’s a fucking beast in bed.
Her sister’s words kept flashing in her head and Cassie hoped, she really hoped, her cheeks weren’t bright red.
“We can’t lose control of the company,” he began.  “Your father brings three votes with him, essentially, and without those, Rhaenyra will take over.”
Cassie felt anger begin to surge in her chest.  “Tell me how that makes it my problem, Aemond.  Better yet,” she said, standing up, “tell me what I get out of it.”
Aemond placed the cup of coffee down on the table.  “I have an idea for something that would benefit you.  And, he didn’t say how long we need to be married.”
“You are seriously considering this?”
“I need those votes.”
Cassie shook her head.  “Shouldn’t it have been your brother meeting with my dad?  Shouldn’t it be him going around, begging for votes?” she saw something shift in Aemond’s eye.  “He’s in rehab again, isn’t he?”
Aemond said nothing for a few moments.  “Nothing needs to change.  We go to a courthouse, sign some things, you come back here, I go home.  In a few weeks, we get an annulment.”
“Why on earth are you even willing to do this, Aemond?”
“Because I would do anything for my family.”
Cassie smiled bitterly.  “Likewise.  You and I are cursed with being the competent ones while everyone else gets to fuck off and do what they want.”
“So?”
“I want rules.  And a contract.  And a schedule.”
* * * * *
“You understand this isn’t real, right?”
Tumblr media
Cassie looked down at the massive diamond on her finger, then up at him.  Aemond had handed her the small box containing the ring he had hastily procured the day before.
“Oh, that ring is very real,” he replied, remembering the number of zeroes at the end of the price tag.  The jewelry store owner had nearly swooned when Aemond pointed to the largest diamond on the tray.
“I can’t wear this, I actually do things during the day, you know?”
He thought she was probably the only one amongst her sisters who would complain about a diamond being too big.
“It’s only for a few weeks,” he shrugged.  They were in the parking lot outside the courthouse, and much to his surprise, he’d felt his chest tighten when he’d seen Cassie getting out of her taxi.
She was wearing a short white dress.  It looked plain enough to him, so it wasn’t until he placed his hand on her back and touched skin that he realized it had flowers and ribbons and lace and all sorts of things he would never have associated with practical, sensible Cassie Baratheon.
Tumblr media
“I don’t even do my nails,” she added, looking down at her hands.
Their number was called, and the clerk and witness approached the table.
He realized her hands were shaking, so he took them in his while the clerk began the ceremony.
She was so pale, and her hands were so cold, and he felt badly that he had pushed for this travesty of a situation, but he hadn’t lied when he’d said he would do anything for his family.  He’d tried, twice, to talk Brian out of holding his votes hostage in exchange for a wedding, and he felt badly when his mother and sister had learned that he, indeed, was planning on marrying Cassie.  Helaena had wanted to attend the ceremony, and had asked a million questions.
He was failing everyone.  He had failed to steer Aegon away from trouble, he was disappointing his mother who said she would go to his wedding when it was “a real one”, he was failing Cassie, who was now involved in this idiotic scheme.
The ceremony ended, and he looked at his new wife.  He was supposed to kiss her.  Her large eyes were on his, and he simply leaned in and touched his lips to hers for a moment.
“Congratulations,” the clerk said, and started signing the certificate.
Cassie stared at him, looking like she was about to start crying.
* * * * *
“Let’s go get lunch,” Aemond had said after the ceremony.  He had snapped a photo of the certificate and sent it to her father, and she was now sitting in the back of a taxi next to him.  She was glad to have brought a jacket because despite the weather, she had started to shake during the ceremony and couldn’t stop.
Maybe some food would help.
She looked down at her hand, at the huge diamond, at the diamond band he’d also gotten for her, and she was glad she’d asked for his ring size.  He now wore a platinum band with a very subtle scale pattern.  She’d seen it at the store, thought there was something predatory about it, and decided it was perfect for him.
“I am sending you all my contact info,” Aemond was saying as she ate her soup.  “We can do this however you want, I understand neither of us wanted this, so as soon as the vote is taken and verified, we can figure out the annulment.”
Cassie nodded.  “The most amicable split in the history of the land.”  She smiled at him.
She had done a lot of research into who Aemond Targaryen was, and although there wasn’t a lot to be found on his private life, the picture she came up with was that of someone determined to do his best.  Someone who had stepped in to fix whatever Aegon had wrecked, and someone fiercely loyal to his family.
“I think you should get something tangible out of this,” he said, suddenly.  “Hear me out.”
When he explained his idea, her jaw nearly dropped.
“No.”
“Why not?  It’s what you did when you lived in Europe.”
“I can’t just leave dad.”
“Your father will survive, Cassie.  I know I am the last person to be saying this, because Aegon certainly has never done it, but your sisters will have to step up.  Or he will have to hire an assistant.  He will have to pay someone to do everything that you do for him.”
To live in Paris.  In an apartment in a Haussmann building.  To restore antique and museum-quality furniture for a living.
“I would have put it in your name already but it’s kind of a long process and you need to sign off on it.”
“Who the hell buys a Haussmann?”
Aemond smirked.  “Rich, well connected people.”
She rolled her eyes at him.  At her husband.  “I will think about it.”
* * * * *
Later that day, Cassie curled up on her sofa, unable to focus on anything since Aemond had dropped her off.
She had started to look at the Parisian apartment Aemond owned, which he would put in her name the moment she agreed.  She had started to look at job opportunities in the French capital.  She had started to file her nails so at least they would be even instead of the mangled mess they usually were.
Every time, she had ended up curled up on the sofa, staring at the opposite wall.
That her father would go this far in manipulating people angered her to no end.  That he would do it to her, who had virtually put her own life on hold to help him, saddened her.
Instead of thinking about stuff that made her rage, she decided to think about Aemond.  With his white blond hair and eyepatch, he always looked striking to her, but in that navy blue suit with the sapphire blue tie, she had been well aware of the looks people had given him as they walked down the hallway in the courthouse.  Then they would look at her, and then at her ring.  And then back at Aemond.
The very brief kiss they had shared at the end of their ceremony lingered in her mind.  It had been a moment’s touch, but his lips had been soft and warm and she had nearly grabbed him to keep him from pulling back.
That would be the final straw, to find herself so attracted to him that she would start wishing the marriage was real.  That would be the absolute last thing she needed.
Cassie wondered what Aemond was doing tonight.  Their wedding night.
* * * * *
The second time Aemond came, it was in the shower, under the searing hot spray of water.  He thought he had gotten Cassie out of his system the first time, but after he’d discarded his clothes in the hamper and stepped into the shower, his thoughts had, again, veered to his new wife.
He couldn’t stop thinking that were their marriage not a farce, she would be in his bed right now.  He would have slowly undone the ribbons holding the back of her dress together, letting it fall to the floor.  Then he would have pulled the pin from her hair and let those long, lovely locks flow down her back.  He would have kissed her, longer this time, not a mere brush of lips.  He would have laid her down on the bed, explored every inch of her, had her begging-
Someone was knocking at the door.
He pulled on sweatpants before grabbing his phone.  The camera app showed Cassie pacing outside his door.
He opened the door and she looked at him, then at his bare chest, before she cleared her throat.
“I am getting else something out of this,” she said, and reached up to pull his head down to hers.  Her mouth was on his, demanding, and her arms were around his neck before he realized what was happening.  He shoved the door shut, felt around to engage the lock and then lifted her up into his arms.
She wrapped her legs around him, pulling away to look him in the eye.  “It’s sex.  Just sex.”
“I’m on board, yeah,” he managed to say before she grabbed his face and started kissing him again.
He walked down to his bedroom, reached the bed, and laid her down gently.
“No,” Cassie said, sitting up.  She placed a hand on his chest and pushed so that it was him on his back.
Aemond went willingly, his mind still not fully functional.  She straddled him, and reached up to pull her shirt off.  He watched as she threw the shirt to the side, watched her breasts bounce as they were freed from her bra.  She reached down to kiss him again, shifting to get rid of her leggings and underwear.  He kicked off his sweatpants, groaned when he felt the heat of her.
He was hard, desperate.  Cassie began rocking her hips against him, and he couldn’t wait any longer.  Reaching between them, he guided himself into her.  She was slick, so ready for him, sitting up as she sank onto him.
“Fuck, yeah,” she moaned, throwing her head back, and then began to swirl her hips.
She was a sight to behold, Aemond thought, her slim frame moving above him, thighs gripping his sides.  She reached up to grab her breasts, lost in the physical pleasure of taking him.
He wasn’t going to last long if she kept riding him like this.  Not even with two recent orgasms, because this woman, this goddess, was quickly driving him past all reason.  He gripped her hips, fingers digging into her soft skin, and she whimpered, her movements becoming faster.
“I’m . . . I’m going to . . . “
Aemond felt the beginnings of her release, felt her body go taut before she screamed, head thrown back.  He held her hips as her body shook above him.  He watched as she slowly began to collapse onto him and then flipped her onto her back.  She was still contracting around him, still moaning, when he began driving his hips against her, mad with need, until his vision faded and he let the tide take him.
* * * * *
Cassie was still floating in the aftermath of one of the best orgasms in recent history.  Aemond was pressed against her, their limbs intertwined, and she could feel his heartbeat slowly returning back to normal.
“This was . . . a very good . . . idea,” Aemond said, still breathing hard.  After a few moments, he added, “stay tonight?”
She wouldn’t attach any emotional meaning to his request, she told herself.  Staying meant more sex later and they both knew it.
“Sure.”
He held her for a few minutes, and then his phone beeped.  “Sorry,” he said before getting up to go to the desk.  Cassie watched him walk away.
Damn.
Her husband had a first-class, gold medal ass.
While he spoke on the phone, she decided to run to the bathroom, put her clothes back on.  After, she opened his medicine cabinet, looked through the sparse contents.  Deodorant, cologne, toothpaste, hair stuff.  Nothing extra, nothing weird.  Nothing left by a girlfriend.  The storage cabinet held a neat stack of white towels, extra toilet paper.  Everything tidy.
When she felt she had snooped around enough, she went back out, found him pouring two glasses of whiskey.  “I don’t have Champagne,” he said apologetically.  Sweatpants were back on.  Oh well.
“I like whiskey,” she replied, took the glass he offered.
“To the next few weeks,” he said.
“To the next few weeks.”

Yesterday we had a pretty good time looking for apartments, I mean we aren't spoiled for choice at our budget but the situation is not dire. Feeling optimistic, we decided to go to our favorite restaurant (in case the owner knows of any places), and on our way we encountered a bird that was desperately trying to get inside of a little construction (or something?) area on the side of the highway, where we could hear other birds with the same call inside. I picked up the bird and ushered it into a spot where it was easy to scramble under the plywood partition to get where it wanted to go. We managed to have substantial conversations over dinner even though my brain was just running "I picked up a bird" repeatedly. It occurred to me that maybe it was a good omen that we helped a bird back to its nesting area (probably) just as we were trying to find a new nest ourselves. Then I remembered that earlier that day I changed the password on my stock portfolio thing (don't judge me, it's from the death of a scary relative and a job that almost killed me, it's not the same thing as having cash and you can get in a lot of trouble if you do the wrong thing with it, it's actually a source of terror for someone as dumb as me but it makes me seem materially stable to outsiders) to a phrase involving the word Egg. And then as I was telling my husband this our dish arrived, which mainly involved these pearls of mozzarella and a poached egg over a bird's nest of fried noodles. Also it was the full moon, that's like an egg too. Here's hoping all this nest and egg symbolism leads to a new home! No fertility stuff please though, I am definitely a strong candidate for eating my young.

Pinned Post:
Sato / 18 / she/her. I have moved on past an MS paint icon to a photo of myself.
Owner of an enterprise originating from New Jersey trying to get said company settled into where the Nameless City used to be, now called Gotham.
First thing that greeted me was some ugly Gothic tower from a big-shot company planted right where I died.
Rude.
Anyway, it's been an utter pain in the butt.
----
OOC:
Sato finally gets her own Tunglr blog. Only took the timeline to break to do so. This is the "A Lilium At the End of the World " timeline!
She's the only one that remembers the "Dream's Descent" timeline, given her identity as < Myriad Lights >.
The Dream doesn't exist here because in their first confrontation / the Dream's betrayal, Sato sacrifices her Spark of Godhood to banish it for good. She dies afterwards but not before she manages to set up contingences.
As a result, there's quite a few changes in the new timeline.
No gods, no masters.

Given this is an in-character blog, most posts will be short. However, face-to-face will likely be multi-para length.
As I'm double-downing on the Gotham setting, Sato will not know Bruce Wayne is Batman and in fact will be highly resistant to the idea. To her, it's like hearing Elon Musk declaring he's Batman (not to mention other rich people claiming to know or assist the superhero). She doesn't particularly care about supervillainry and superheroism beyond it hurting her bottom line as she's a mostly normal person now.

Name: Sato
Moniker: koi, Myriad Lights
Age: 18
Pronouns: She/her
Personality: Determined, she's always been determined. Sure, she's a bit of a ditz and a blabbermouth - okay, more than a bit, but she's always been sincere. Her desires, her dealings with people, her affection.
She still thinks people can be better and be happy, so long as they have the environment to do so.
Problem is she's living in a world in late-stage capitalism, where companies, now giant insatiable organisms of their own, try and grow uncontrollably with no one to check and balance them out. It was like that in the prior world too, but it was so much worse here.
Of course, she already has a lot going on like trying to find her friend who is off god knows where, not to mention the others who are probably living very different lives in this new timeline. And now she has to tackle an enormous societal problem that encompasses the world?
Well, she'd know Levant would want her to do it. And the other factor is that she maaaaay have accidentally blown herself up in a fit of fury against the Dream, so she isn't really a Goddess anymore. But she could still accumulate Faith - and with it, she'll be able to do something to help save Levant when the opportunity reveals itself.
Furthermore, she needs to find the rest of the Nameless Church somehow. Find Lillian - or is it Chi again - especially - Lev would want that. She suspects Mirielle and Sasha escaped the timeline. Well, she knows. She had to literally push Mirielle out of the timeline before she strained it further trying to save her.
In any case, the best way to achieve her goals was to make a massive company on her own - money and resources to find the Nameless Church and Faith to gain the power to find Levant. She knows what major stocks will get big - she also knows all the market trends like Crypto and NFTs - and knows what to avoid too like Mt. Gox and Enron. And while she's at it, she'll be doing something about that rampant capitalism destroying people's lives thing.
If she can't kill it from the outside (without inciting mass deaths anyway), she could try to do it from the inside instead. No, she doesn't have a plan. She doesn't even know how to run a company, but she can learn.
What better way to gather Faith is to have a whole bunch of people grateful to you for providing a decent livelihood in this world?

Just got back from classes, so here’s my little rant/cry for help:
I took my blog over from someone else, mainly because i’m a full-time college student and i just did not have the time or energy to start a full account from scratch.
So the whole transition happened, the other girl announced her leaving, and i introduced myself once i joined, changed all the things i wanted to change. I kept the same username, because i genuinely love it and changing it to anything else would cause more time, like changing the headers and updating all the links.
Previous owner asked me to complete two of the things she started which were a series that is still on-going and a Christmas project. So i was like fine, sure why not because i liked the ideas she had for it and i felt like i could do something with it.
So i so far only have posted one thing that i’ve written because i’ve been busy and i’ve been mostly focusing on the Christmas project. But the one thing i posted did not gain a lot of attraction if thats the right word for it. So i thought, that’s weird. So i checked to see if i was shadow banned, which i wasn’t because the post did turn up in the tags. I checked the previous owner’s posts from that series and saw that those did get more attraction. So for a while i just left it as it was, but yesterday i looked a bit further, checked previous messages etc (which might be an invasion of privacy but i just wanted to find out what was going on)
And i found out that the previous owner was caught up in quite some drama that i don’t know the details of, and i think that might be the reason people are maybe boycotting my blog.
I have done everything i think i can do that i have the time for, like i introduced myself and it was stated very clearly that the previous owner had left. And i changed the email and password so i know for sure she won’t be coming back.
I didn’t delete her old fics, even after finding out about the drama, because i don’t wanna delete someone’s hard work if you know what i mean.
And now i just don’t know what to do, because all i want to do is spread positivity, love & happiness around my blog and create a safe space. While writing about the people i love for other people to read when i get back from my classes because writing is so relaxing for me.
I do not know what to do, because i promise i’m just trying to live life as a college student and spread positivity in any way i can without it being too time consuming :(
Wow okay, this is a lot. I’m sorry it took me so long to answer it. I can see why people may be causing you some trouble because of whatever the previous owner of the account may of done. But I feel like in that situation no matter if you’ve told everyone there’s a new owner, they just probably won’t believe that and would just assume it’s the same person trying to act like it’s someone different. I think the only way to get out of this whole mess is either delete most of the stuff on there including the fics and maybe changing the username to just give a fresh start. I know that’s something you don’t want to do. But it may be the only thing you can do in this situation. Other than maybe just making your own account. Which I know you said you just don’t have time to build up. Which is understandable. But that’s my best advice for this situation.

Puhuhuhuhu!
Heeeeeeeello, everyone! (o゚v゚)ノ
It’s your favorite killing game mascot and Hope’s Peak (LOL XD) Academy’s headmaster, MONOKUMA! \(@^0^@)/ Wooohooo!!! Yay!!!!!
It has been a while since I’ve talked to my audience before :O I missed you guys sooooooooo much!!! {{{(>_<)}}} You’re all probably BEARy worried about what happened to me after the killing game, right!?
Well, uh...i-it's kind of embarrassing!! (*/ω\*) But, I’ve been, um…stuck in some weirdo’s house, at the moment. (Don’t remember her name right now, Sowwy!! ^_~ ) And let me tell ya, It’s been AWFUL ever since I got here! Absolutely TERRIBLE!! 0 out of 5 stars!!! For you see, this incredibly boring bastard’s been forcing me into NOT doing anything DESPAIR RELATED! Σ(っ °Д °;)っ Can you BELIEVE that! This goddamn moron brought me to her house because she thinks she could “cHaNge mE fOr ThE bEtTEr”. I am going to save you all the gory details cause it's just that *horrible*!!! ~(>_<。)\Like seriously, I’d rather die over and over again than have to be stuck here any longer… <(_ _)>
But anyway, as much I'd love to complain and cry for help to be free from this misery (the house is on the more safer sides of the area. Somewhere pretty far from the East side of hope’s peak academy, I think. Please come save me!!! >_<) that's not what I’m really here for. Someone, (who I’m guessing is the owner of this blog?) somehow found the-weirdo-freak-who's-keeping-me-here-and-boring-me-out's email address, knew I was there and sent this blog’s log-in info. The email also included instructions for how it worked and that there were questions I had to answer in it.
Now this confused me at first. I mean, you think people on the internet would know not to share their passwords with anyone, but I guess this person’s an exception. But, when I saw that someone had questions for me, I was thrilled!! <(^-^)> I always love answering my adoring fans’ questions, and I really can’t wait to answer the ones on here!!! (。・∀・)ノ゙

So I've been away from Genshin for a while. Wish I could say it's by choice but the truth is...
My account got hacked and sold.
Long story. TLDR, I regret not paying attention to account security and learned my lesson the hard way. Genshin's recovery process was...extremely exhausting. Trust me when I say it's a stress-inducing nightmare, all of which could have been avoided if only I were more careful. Hackers have ways of gaining access to our accounts, and staying safe takes more than just avoiding the obvious "free primos" scams and not giving away your login info.
*For updated info about account security and what to do if you get hacked, visit the GenshinHacked subreddit.
*A good read on how to secure your account: Reddit Thread
Some advice:
Never ever save passwords on internet browsers. Configure settings to auto delete cookies after closing tabs or use incognito mode. There are malwares that steal passwords from cookies and that's how your email/genshin gets hacked.
Be wary of sites/links offering free software downloads/primos/genshin private servers. If something is too good to be true it probably is.
Set long passwords with a random combination of upper & lower case/special characters/numbers/letters.
Example: 42fjn&Oq!5v9mvTX3p*fcUxWd-7
Check your password strength here:
https://www.security.org/how-secure-is-my-password/
If you link any 3rd party to Genshin (twitter, facebook etc.), ensure they all have 2fa enabled. The linked email for each 3rd party account should also be different.
Create a brand new email with 2fa enabled and only use it for your Hoyoverse login. Do not use it for anything else to lower chances of it being compromised in a data breach. This email is probably the most important thing to safeguard. It is pretty much GAME OVER if this email gets hacked as the hacker can easily use it to unlink your email and change your Hoyoverse password.
Check if your email was found in a data breach: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Don't get involved in account trading. Buying and selling accounts is against Hoyoverse's ToS. This is not going to stop people from doing so but just be aware that there are many hacked and stolen accounts on the market. There's always a chance of the original owner recovering it, causing the buyer to get "scammed" by the hacker/seller.
If ever you get hacked, do not trust anyone other than Hoyoverse's support team to retrieve your account. You might get messages asking you to DM "someone" on instagram/twitter for help (see below pic). Do not respond to these lowlife scammers and block them immediately! Also do not attempt to contact the hacker/buyer as they may trash your stuff out of spite.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
NOTE: The following is a retelling of my experience a few months back. Some info about the recovery process may be outdated.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
My Story
It is easy to blame the hacker and Hoyoverse for my predicament but I admit that ultimately it was my fault for getting hacked. And no, I did not fall for any "free primos!!111" or "genshin giveawayyy@#!&" scam, and I have never shared my login credentials with others.
The hacker gained access to my Hoyoverse and the email linked to it. With those alone the hacker was able to unlink my email, change the password and delete all login devices/phone number. How did the hacker get my login details? Well...
My first mistake was saving passwords on my web browser. I was using 2 browsers back then. Firefox was configured to delete cookies after closing and it's what I use on the regular. I set up another browser (Opera) for quick access to my unimportant socials and various sites by storing passwords in the browser and NOT deleting cookies. So really in hindsight, my biggest mistake was being a lazy dumbass. I'm sure that a cookie stealing malware was what got me coz my obscure twitter was spamming crypto tweets and the only place I ever use it on was the Opera browser. I also had my Genshin login saved for redeeming codes (arghhh). Probably had the email linked to Genshin saved on it too since it was the only compromised email.
My second dumb mistake was downloading software from a dodgy site. I think it was when I was looking for a pdf editor and downloaded malware instead. I remember it being a rar file, and extracting it triggered the malware alert of my antivirus. I deleted the file immediately but guess it was too late. This was likely how the cookie-stealing malware found its way onto my PC. Should have known better, really.
My third mistake was ignoring signs of a security breach. The first warning sign was the antivirus alert. The next was the twitter spam. These things happened a day or two before my Hoyoverse actually got hacked. There was time for me to stop it but I failed to do so. What I should have done immediately when there was suspicious activity: scan for malware, change every password and NEVER save passwords on browsers EVER AGAIN!
My fourth mistake was setting a bunch of weak passwords for Genshin and emails. Easy to remember, but a risky move since it'll only take an hour for a computer to crack them!
Secure & Recover
After discovering I got hacked, I did everything to secure my PC again like running several anti-virus scans, uninstalling Opera for good, activating 2fa wherever possible and changing every single password to complex ones. Thankfully it seems like nothing else was hacked.
Then I submitted the HoYoverse Pass form (aka "Hacked Form") to recover my account. This is the form you'll need to fill to "prove" you are the true owner of said account. On it are a list of questions like username, email, linked third party, first login method, first and most played devices, registration date, first purchase method and receipts. There's also the option to recover Genshin, Honkai or Tears of Themis but luckily you'll only need to submit the form for one game to get all the others back. Recovering through Honkai or Themis is supposedly faster as the player base is smaller but unfortunately I did not note down the UID of my Themis account so that option was...not an option for me (sighhh).
The CS team forewarned it'll take up to 20 business days for a reply (it was the norm to wait 30-40 days in total). It literally takes a whole month for the recovery process with no guarantee you'll get it back at the end of the long wait.
Meanwhile I kept a close watch on my account through an alt and on Hoyolabs. The hacker deleted my friend list and changed my in-game nick to a number. A few days later it was again changed, this time to a Jp name. It looked like my account got sold.
Whale Watching: The "Buyer"
Based on my observations, I could guess that the buyer was some Japanese dude who likes Kazuha (a lot), not a fan of Tartag (keeps switching out his bow and giving it to others smh), makes questionable choices for abyss, might be a whale or at least a dolphin (character count increased, some new constellations, pulled on the weapon banner yikes), logs in almost everyday and plays the events. I did wonder if I should be relieved about my account being in the hands of an active player who somewhat knows what he's doing as opposed to a bored troll who trashes accounts. But the most frustrating thing about it all was noticing the gradual increase of my chasm exploration % on Hoyolabs and being unable to do anything about it.
The 2.8 Update: A Depressing Livestream
Days passed (really slowly) with no reply. The buyer was still active on my account when the 2.8 livestream dropped. After losing access, I intentionally avoided genshin-related news to cope with the situation but tbh I really missed the game. So I ended up watching the stream. It announced the return of the summer islands, the new Diluc skin (the one consistent thing i asked for in every survey no kidding T_T), and even had a Sumeru teaser at the end. It was supposed to be exciting but I felt nothing but despair. I was looking forward to Sumeru and dendro but I wasn't sure if I will ever get the chance to experience it.
Day 30: The Response
On the 30th day, I received a response from CS.
The recovery attempt was unsuccessful. The information I gave was "incomplete" and "inconsistent". They wouldn't say what was incorrect and I was left guessing.
I thought I had lots of proof and knew everything about my account but somehow still fell short. Felt a mixture of disbelief and sadness. All that time spent waiting, and it was for nothing.
The 2nd Attempt: Persistence & Patience
It was really hard dealing with the rejection after a month-long wait. I even considered moving on to Tower of Fantasy but in the end I decided to keep trying. I wasn't ready to give up on something I was invested in for almost 2 years. I refused to let the hacker/buyer win. On the subreddit I read stories of players who only got their accounts back after one year of continuous rejections. I was ready for that. I was prepared for the worst.
For the 2nd attempt I was a lot calmer and spent some time organizing my info and reviewing the first form to figure out what went wrong. I changed the registration date to my first login date instead. The form lets you use the first login date if you can't remember the registration date so this time I went with the login date which I was confident of. Then I changed the first login device and UID first started platform to my other device. I was in a tricky situation as I wasn't sure if I first logged in with mobile or PC. I had issues with both at the start and was trying them out at the same time (lag and update issues). For most players the registration device would be the same as the login device/UID first started platform but I think it was different for me. So anyway in the second form I wrote down the device I used that successfully played the first cutscene with the unknown god. It was not the same device I used to register for Genshin. I then explained my situation and why I was unsure about the first device in the additional info section.
Those three were the only answers I changed. Then I added every five star pull dates in the additional info (before i only listed the characters, no dates given). Also I used a different email from my first attempt to submit the form. This time the email was the one I used for purchases (this email address was visible on my paypal receipts).
After submitting the form I sent an additional email to support_os with a link to my google drive. Tbh this was prob unnecessary and I don't know for sure if it helped at all but at the time I was eager to provide as much proof as I could. The google drive had excel spreadsheets of the following:
Chronological list of all my five stars and their exact pull dates (including standard banner five star pulls)
Full purchase history in chronological order where I listed the transaction ids/purchase methods/file name of the receipt screenshot on my google drive for reference
Devices I used to play Genshin (again i explained about my first login device "issue" and also listed my latest most played devices and the date I started using them).
I added another folder for screenshots that had every receipt and some early in-game screenshots with my UID visible (including screenshots of my first 20 pulls on beginner banner...the hacker/buyer will never know of this since wish history only shows records from the past 6 months).
Basically I only included things I was sure of and everything was presented in a clear and organized format. Dates were written as YYYY/MM/DD, same as how it is in-game and I clearly stated my country and timezone in big bold font (emphasizing this since I could tell the hacker/buyer was located in another country). Lucky for me (and i'm so glad for this!) I kept records of every banner pull date to keep track of my primos and also had every receipt in a separate email that was not linked to Genshin. Although I had tons of screenshots and video evidence, I didn't include much as they are generally not considered as "good evidence". I can see why since media can easily be stolen off the internet so I only attached the unique event participation ones.
The Waiting Game 2.0
Playing the waiting game 2.0 was a lot tougher than the first. Already 30 plus days have passed since I last logged in, I have missed the Xiao and Itto events, possibly will miss the summer events as well and who knew how much of MY resources the buyer had already spent/squandered or how far he had progressed for the story quests. It didn't help that I was also missing out on the Themis events (my fav Marius' bday and the anniversary sighh). I was constantly checking my Hoyolabs profile, watching the buyer completing events, max refining weapons I do not want refined, switching out Childe's artifacts/weapons (once again Childe was messed with LMAO). It got to a point where the anxiety level was just too much and I had to stop the whale-watching. Instead it became routine every morning, afternoon and evening to check my email and try the "forget password" method (entering the new email I gave to see if it got linked by the CS team). Everyday I got used to the same feeling of disappointment that followed.
In short, the wait was tormenting.
Day 34 of 2nd Form: End in Sight?
It was day 34. Noon time I checked my email and tried the forgot password method. Still nothing as usual. Later that day just as I ended work, I checked my phone and straightaway I noticed the notification for an email from support_os. I jumped to open it and got this:
Tumblr media
Nearly two months. It was finally over.
I got my account back!
State of My Account
I was able to login before the summer events ended although the buyer had already completed the story. But just listening to the familiar soundtrack of the islands brought back good memories of the first time I explored the map and I didn't know how much I missed Genshin until that moment.
Thankfully nothing of importance was trashed. Some artifacts were moved around but none of the good ones were destroyed. I found myself with welkin, battle pass, new characters I had no intention of pulling, some constellations including lost 50/50s, two 5-star weapons (1 was a dupe sighh) and some max refined 4-stars (pain). All Archon and character story quests were done and that probably upset me the most since I had plans to record the cutscenes to make videos. Other than that I was surprised to learn the buyer spent some time in my teapot adding random furniture and collecting realm currency (a lot of realm currency, um thanks?). And of course Kazuha was chilling there. I was prob right about maple boy being his fav.
The buyer was some kind of whale who spent quite a lot in 2 months, more than I ever did in a year. Having all this "bonuses" after getting hacked sounds like a win but the buyer might request a refund anytime so I'm feeling really uneasy about having all this "extra" stuff. There's nothing I can do now except to wait it out and hope my primos don't turn negative.
All this time I did not make any contact with the buyer so I will never find out how or why he bought my account. I will also never know if he knew the account he bought was a stolen one. Still, I don't feel sorry for the dude at all, not after what I had gone through for the past two months.
Lesson Learnt
If you are still reading this, don't be like me, please safeguard your account from hackers. Genshin's popularity makes it an attractive target for scumbag hackers and account traders. It is easy to blame Hoyoverse for the lack of security and loopholes but as players we should also do what we can to ensure our info doesn't get stolen that easily. Most importantly, do not download from unreliable sites and do not save passwords in your browsers. Always delete cookies or use incognito browsing mode. And always set a strong password!
Tumblr media
Behold. My old password vs current one.
The End
And that is it for my sob story with a happy(?) ending. Ever since I got my account back I have been spending most of my time exploring Sumeru (soundtrack is gold!). Still some catching up to do as I have missed tons of story stuff (gonna have to watch all of it on youtube sighhh).
It sure is good to be back ( ͒˃̩̩⌂˂̩̩ ͒).

Now and then, I have this habit of taking some time to reminisce about things. I’m one of those people who tend to stick to old favorites, staying passionate about said things even if I don’t actively engage with the fandom anymore; they’ll always have a place in my heart and I think of these things I love on a regular basis.
One of these things is the VocaUTAU fandom, which I interacted with a lot back in the day as Ritsu Namine’s RPer here on Tumblr.
Ritsu still is my favorite virtual singer of all - I still listen to many of the songs and covers - it’s amazing to see how far the character and his voice provider have come; and it’s tons of fun to remember all the moments I had interpreting him and doing my own PV projects (despite being terrible at tuning USTs!), fanarts and even going as far as to do cosplay.
These are definitely happy memories that I cherish. And when I’m going through hard times, I tend to think about such things.
This was my first post in Ritsu’s blog; 12 years ago! It’s truly amusing to revisit all the posts and even cringe at myself a little thanks to my own immaturity (and slightly incorrect English) in both IC and OOC. Many of those posts were rather chaotic...
Though I still quite like how I interpreted him back in the day, ahaha.
I still feel like Ritsu is part of me, the petty, child-like and somewhat stubborn part of me. He also was my very first experience with an openly queer character and I feel like that helped broaden my horizons and understand things better as well; though I already was pretty aware I was sapphic, the concept of gender was a somewhat late reveal!
Looking back now, it makes a lot of sense why it felt so comfortable to interpret him.
I lost the access to Ritsu’s account as the email it used was deleted by Outlook due to inactivity, and Tumblr had the amazing idea of not giving people an alternative to log back into their accounts after the data leak that forced users to change their password - something that required the email originally linked to the blog in question.
The old URL I had before changing to ritsu73, namineritsu, is linked in the old RP HQ blog. See that Namine Ritsu? It was me! I don’t know who’s the current owner of that URL, though.
As for the current URL, ritsu73... I’ve been holding it as a sideblog of mine, since Tumblr adds a “-blog” to the URL of blogs that’ve gone inactive - as you can see on my posts linked in this small text. I probably won’t do anything with it, but I can’t seem to let it go due to my attachment to the blog and the memories I have thanks to it.
If you have read until now, thank you so much for your attention! I don’t know if you have come across Ritsu’s blog in the past when it was active 12 years ago, or if you happened to find some post while searching or if you hadn’t even heard of it until now...
...but still, it’s really nice of you to stay and read through my long, reminiscing babbling. I appreciate it, truly.

Ara the unrivaled title-maker.
I am never a proud woman. I am not a stupid person who takes pride in the things I’m good at. I was raised to be humble. Except for this one time. I firmly believe that I am such a good title-maker. Or making captions in general. (Although it wouldn’t be visible on my IG captions. You should read until the end so I can prove to you how good I am.) I could get paid for this, you know. Not sure who and what kind of idiot would be needing, especially paying for this service but this is some good shit.
In case you didn’t notice. Shame on you. I was revamping and moving this blog and my old private blog around. I made a minor change to this blog. Guess what changes I do? It was my URL, you silly!!  This was the URL from my private blog. And now I’m using it here. Ara is bored is the title of my main blog. Now my private blog is the ‘arasawano’ blog. So, as I was changing things, I looked from my private blog, and boy oh boy. Didn’t I have a good laugh? My title for some of my posts was comedic gold. I mean it is to me because it was written by me, to me, for me. So yeah fuck you if you think I’m corny. Let me hear you crack one joke. We'll see who’s the dull one here.
Also, if you open my arasawano blog… it’s password protected. The things said there were…. Let’s just say I am not ready to share it with the world yet. So don’t even attempt to open it. It would probably crack you up more. But as of this moment, the titles are the only ones I could share with you.
To give you an in-depth context about this. Here are some of the titles I post there. With my attempt of explaining them for you.
Tumblr media
Oh this is the time where I got a new computer set up. And I am typing on my new keyboard. If you could hear the sound that my new keyboard makes. You will understand. Mind you, my blog post was hella long too. So imagine my satisfaction while typing that shit. A little TMI,  I wasn’t able to use that keyboard now. Before it was just inconvenient and NOW now, it just won’t connect properly to my laptop.
Tumblr media
I am standing with this statement. Every time good things happen to me I always have to be on alert whether these things are just preparing me for something worse that will happen.

I still am. But somehow I managed to let some light in and make my work more bearable than those times. People are right when they say, things takes time. It wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst either.
Tumblr media
This is the time where I got a new blender. Ahhh the times where I am pretending to be a good home owner. The fucking word play here. Eminem vs. Ara, when?
The next posts were some posts you really need context for:
Tumblr media
I am such a skeptical girlie. See, I told you. Too many bad things happened to me that when good things occur instead of enjoying the moment, I am terrified. And as far as my good old memory can remember, this is the moment when those bad things happened. I was having a good week and BOOM! Fucking the worst week of my life. And sometimes those bad things didn’t come in big waves but were scattered throughout my week. Life just won’t give me a break.
Tumblr media
This post(above) were two consecutive posts. And I think you’ll get what I felt and meant by it at this point.
The next posts are…. I don’t even know what the hell I’m talking about.
Tumblr media
As I’m reading this I’m checking if my undershirt was actually peeping thru. It’s not.
Tumblr media
I… I don’t…. I… ??
Tumblr media
Okay I still stand by this. Because that is not the life I won’t choose. Don’t mind my grammar errors. That was supposed to be my personal blog. I do check them from time to time but I think when I type something personal for that blog I am just a little bit more careless with these. So yeah, I don’t care and please don’t mind them.
I can’t fucking think of anything clever for this post. Which is very ironic because it is about gassing me up and how good I am at making posts. Maybe my talent was not here anymore. Or maybe this was clever enough. Who knows.

Will Bilibili cancel the display of playback volume, so that UP owners who generate electricity for love will no longer worry about money?
Tumblr media
Bilibili announced that it will use playback HE Tuber minutes instead of playback times to evaluate UP’s main videos in the next few weeks. Therefore, this article provides a more comprehensive analysis of the reasons, impacts and opportunities of this major move by Station B. It not only provides a reference for content creators, but also allows readers to understand the latest trends and changes in video platforms such as Bilibili.
Station B has changed!
Yesterday was Station B’s 14th birthday. Chairman and CEO Chen Rui announced a major event on occasion:
In the next few weeks, the number of playback minutes will be used instead of playback volume for UP host's video submissions.
1. When judging a hero based on his/her duration, the headlines are gone.
Play volume, more accurately, is the number of plays. Whether you watch it for 10 seconds or 10 minutes, the number of plays is 1.
The number of playback minutes is the time actually spent by users watching the video. To put it simply and crudely, the larger the number, the higher the probability that the content is of good quality.
This change is considered the first of its kind on a global video platform. The news broke 3 months ago and now the dust has finally settled.
When giving a speech on stage, the steady Chen Rui used users' questions as an introduction and got to the point slowly:
Will high-quality mid-length videos be drowned in the dazzling array of choices?
This actually explains what problem Station B hopes to solve.
Bilibili’s attitude is very clear. When there are too many kinds of content, users’ attention is distracted. The solution is not to go back to the past that was not rich enough, but to use technology and products to make it easier for users to see better quality content. .
The solution they found was play minutes.
Chen Rui cited several examples. Whether it is mainstream videos such as "Identifying Popular Creatures on the Internet" or more vertical niche videos such as F1 racing, they can attract audiences for a long time.
On the other hand, low-quality videos that rely on exaggerated titles and inducing covers to attract clicks are often quickly abandoned by users after clicking on them. The playback minutes are much less than the number of views, and they are almost sentenced to death.
UP Master He tries to find the traffic password of station B.
All in all, the number of playback minutes is "more valuable data" and can better reflect the actual consumption of content.
Bilibili's traditional performance "one-click three-connect" can also directly reflect the video quality, but it alone is not enough.
Because voting for likes and coins is an active behavior of a small number of users, most users choose to vote silently with their feet.
For the same silent viewing behavior, the number of playback minutes is a better indicator of video quality than the number of playbacks. Therefore, what should be one-click and three-way is still one-click and three-way. What Station B is subverting this time is actually the "voting with your feet" method of most users.
Why did Station B just make up its mind now? Counting the number of play minutes is much more technically difficult and costly than the number of plays.
Interruptions, skipping progress bars, repeated playback, viewing on multiple devices, turning off the screen on the mobile terminal, and switching pages on the web page. These complex interactive behaviors need to be counted to obtain a relatively accurate number of playback minutes.
Chen Rui said that Bilibili is now capable of doing this. In the near future, the arrow icon indicating the number of playback times in the lower left corner of the video cover will be changed to a clock icon showing the number of playback minutes.

In this article, we will discuss some of the most crucial things to consider if you are considering migrating to Shopify. In that case, read on if you're ready to take your business to the next level!
Are You Considering Using Shopify as Your Online Storefront?
Tumblr media
Like most entrepreneurs, you've probably considered migrating to Shopify at some point. Because it is such a significant decision with so many implications, the transition is not without its difficulties.
So, what exactly is involved? Read this post to learn about Shopify and the platform before entering. Read on to see if migrating to Shopify is the right choice for your business.
1. Back-Office integrations
First, ensure your engineers are acquainted with Shopify's API and that your new theme is compatible with the appropriate back-office systems. Only then should you launch it.
Even though over a thousand apps in their app store are designed to link third-party software, this may not be important for the kind of connection you're thinking about. A great place to start is by looking for a web development firm with experience migrating companies to Shopify.
2. Texts for essays and blogs
Tumblr media
Thanks to Shopify's flexible features, importing your blog posts and articles is a breeze. You'll need to use a relative path if you want to change embedded images in specific files that are no longer hosted on the server.
If you have media assets hosted elsewhere or utilize an app from the Shopify store, migrating your website will be a breeze. Hiring a Shopify migration agency may streamline the process of transferring your blog entries and articles.
3. Customer passwords
When you switch to Shopify migration services from another system, your customer records will be transferred. It becomes more challenging to manage sensitive or encrypted information, such as client passwords, when it has to be sent. On the other hand, business owners whose chosen management system already allows them to handle several accounts would find this a relief.
However, Shopify Plus members have the option to resolve this issue. With Shopify Plus, you can make use of tools which can send out email reminders to customers and active accounts to reset their passwords.
4. Shopify extensions
Stop searching for the best plugins to assist your e-commerce company in data movement since Shopify provides the perfect plugins for all of your data migration needs in their app store. You may transfer all of your customer and product data from your old company into Shopify using any of these plugins.
You may import data from your previous website into Shopify with many popular and easy-to-use plugins. The app Matrixify is one example; it allows users to transfer data in masses. Cart2Shop Store Migration is another option; it lets you transfer all information with a single click.
You may swiftly move large amounts of data stored on another site with the aid of it. For any further confusion about the transfer of your store's data, it is recommended that you seek advice and help from the Shopify migration company.
5. Shopify support
Shopify offers 24/7 phone and email support to provide the best platform experience. And if you still have questions or need help with anything, you can always use the free, real-time chat service.
On top of that, after purchasing a theme from most providers, you will be eligible for complimentary phone technical assistance for a few months. Nevertheless, not every designer in the field is based in the US; hence, you must research to identify the most suitable designer for your requirements.
Conclusion
Several things need to be thought about before migrating to Shopify. This blog post covers all the bases, from back-office integrations to client passwords. Read all of the points before choosing which ones are most important for your business. Once you have a good idea of what's needed, get in touch with a Shopify migration development company for more guidance and support.

Digital Wi-fi Clocks Simplify Connections
Tumblr media
Wifi clocks supply a way for reducing, and even removing, upkeep, hence making life less complicated. Wi-fi clocks interest local business owner for their dependability and also very easy synchronization. Maybe greater than anything else, their growth is encouraged by the wish to simplify connections.
The installation of wifi clocks implies that at the very least one sort of connection-- that of the electrical power cable-- is severed, along with every one of its constraints. Perhaps the greatest restraint is a scarcity of electric electrical outlet, which can be mollified somewhat with extension cables or power strips. Still, trying to attach several timepieces to a solitary circuit can drain pipes present capability.
Certainly, cutting the power cable indicates that the clock needs to be powered by a battery. Nevertheless, this loss is compensated by the gain of a wireless communication with the computer network, the timekeeping precision of which much surpasses that of the watch's self-supporting quartz crystal. With all clocks so connected, the system is synchronized and comes to be more flexible, versatile, and operable.
Currently, synchronization is not a new concept for companies, as well as those that implement it gain from better performance. However the conventional means of achieving synchronization is via a master clock that controls the moment utilized by all the servant clocks throughout the company. The master clock has to very first synchronize with a neighborhood network or some GPS signal.
However the wifi arrangement is much more sophisticated and also effective. No master clock is required, its capability being supplanted by configuration software application set up on the network. Each clock uses its cordless link to seek this software and after that to run it as a method to immediately establish its time.
Furthermore, the software tracks governmental time changes, such as those connected with daylight savings. When an hour (or maybe half-hour) time shift occurs according to a country wide stipulated timetable, the software changes each clock on the system the matching quantity.
The outcome is that this system is basically maintenance cost-free. No clock's time ever requires tweaking or resetting because of its synchronicity with the wifi network. The batteries will require transforming periodically, yet with 4 D-cells the clock will maintain going for years between changes.
This system is developed to handle loads, even hundreds, of watches throughout a huge facility. Though you can probably obtain electronic display screens, the style of selection for a lot of businesses is an analog display. The turning hands superimposed over a circular dial supply good comparison for informing time quickly with very little eyestrain.
Additionally, fairly big analog clocks are easily read at a reasonable distance away. Some companies choose single-sided faces to hang the wrist watches on a wall, while others pick double-sided faces that are suspended vertical to the wall for quick viewing from both directions.
Wi-fi communications have become common and also utilized by countless people every day. All mobile devices currently have the ability to link wirelessly to any kind of network nearby, regularly without needing a password, as well as this mode of operation conserves significantly on cellular costs. The technology has substantially assisted in a consistent boost in performance.
Integrated clock systems have actually been making numerous type of company operations much more effective for decades now. Some organizations, such as health centers and also transport centers, have actually established their systems to brand-new heights of elegance. Converting these systems to cordless connection allows for even more performance, simplicity, and also comfort, all at a tremendous cost savings in upkeep costs.
It is only natural that the trend is relocating towards upgrading the clocks themselves. Today's networks pass terabytes of info on a continual basis and also at incredible speeds, making flick streaming as well as other mass movements of information available at a click of a computer mouse. It all boils down to dependable connections, as well as digital wireless clock systems for schools simply those connections.
