In case you dont know:
the Magnus Archives is a horror anthology Podcast that follows the Archivist and his team of asisstants while they uncover and record all the horrors of the world they live in.
An integral part of this are the Entitys, 14 different things that are and feed on the fear of humans and animals alike.
To make the navigation of this blog easier and to aid in understanding these i will provide a list of the Fears below:
The Buried

The Magnus Archives
In the Magnus Archives, the villains are known as entities. They are all named and designed around a different primal human fear. This is similar to an idea I would like to explore of dividing fears and horror genre's into locations rather than entities. Dividing these fears up and personifying them is a good way of having consistent villains whilst not limiting yourself creatively as they are still unpredictable and beyond human comprehension, making them scarier. However, by making them into locations, I can make the threats that come from said environments more manageable for a cast of characters to face than one primordial force.
The magnus archive's entities:
